I will be making a simple splice out of a Quilava and Ampharos.

You may add many details to either of these guys, but were just going to add something simple that would make Ampharos (the main body splice in this tutorial) even more EPIC looking

First go to this site for yor pokemon sprites. http://pokemon.marriland.com/

I got Quilava and Ampharos from the HeartGold/SilverSoul version pokedex to make my splice. If any of the black comes around the pokemon then just use the "fill tool" to fill in the black with white. If the pokemon's edges disappear then just retrace the missing edges with black.

 

Now open paint and copy the pokemon you want onto paint. (Paint is the most POWERFUL and EASIEST to use when making pokemon splice.

 

NOW open up any music site you want to hear music from. (This is optional). Why? Well you get more creative when you here a specific song. I recommend this site, its my favorite japanese music site. http://coucoucircus.org/index2.php?

Now we start to splice.

Ignore the other programs.

 

I removed Ampharos's arms and put the Head Flame of Quilava on the arms to make it look like this! ▼

Now add the Tail flame from Quilava onto Ampharos's lower back. You haveto remove the tail first then drag Ampharos over the Flaim. Then it should look something like this. ▼

No cut out the Quilava and put the Ampharos at the upper left corner of the page and resize the page so it fits the new Ampharos completly! No u just got to save this splice. (NOTE: IMPROTANT STEP-Save the imag as a .png image so yor splice won't look alll blurry.)

 

Now (if you have a photobucket account) go to photobucket and upload your splice image of Ampharos. Then copy the image code to your sig, avtars(if it fits...), message, or post and you got this. ▼

There you have it how to make a quality good splice with a few simple cuts and place techniques. I wont tell you EVERY detail becuase a MASTER Pokemon Splicer learns from experiance from splicing his own Creations. Not: I will make a tutorial on how to recolor pokemon sooner or later.

All you did was copy/paste quilaiva's fire onto Ampharos. That's not proper splicing.
