You've been doing it for 2 or 3 years, yet you ignored one of the first rules.

I'm referring, of course, to the fact that you mirrored the golden 'wings' behind the sprite. That's a no-no.

Yes, I have. There was no "rule" sheet on Pokeplushies.com. Hm? Explain, please.

You could've at least change the perspective of one of the wings to make the splice look more realistic.

I was trying to, but was somewhat rushed in time... And tired. 1:30 AM = not good splicing time xD

 

Well... That was my sleepy-ass try at it. I'll fix it now, I think.

Listen' date=' you're not bad, and if you want my honest opinion, I think you could've done so much more with it. With that many pokemon in it, it could have had so much potential. Here's how I would have done it:

Dude, seriously, that is crap. The colors look like sheet, and it's easy just to copy my base idea. It looks bad. Now, don't post your sheet it my thread. M'kay? Besides, you only put a couple pieces together, not even matching the pose. You really need to learn how to splice before overloading sheet and saying you could have done it better.

I do apologize if I angered you by criticizing your work. Please try to understand that I was trying to help.

I can't tell you why it wasn't written on Pokeplushies. I've never read that tutorial. (To tell you the truth, I've never read any tutorial really, which is why I still make rookie mistakes)

 

You should know, when anything on any sprite is mirrored without changing any aspect of the shading ruins the perspective.

All pokemon are facing slightly to their right, when something is mirrored, it changes the way the body is facing to being completely facing forward. The light source is also moved to being directly in front of the sprite, which differs from the rest of the sprite.

Dark Paladin it's not nice to post your sprites in someone else's sprite thread.

It's a decent fusion, really if you just fixed the already mentioned wing issue it would be fine, but perhaps some black outline on the wings too, that way the blue one will also have it, becuase atm, the blue one looks more like it would be transparent so to speak.

This splice (Gamble's) is good, but yeah, the wings could still be better.

If you aren't going to do good working on it at 1:30, don't work on it at 1:30 and upload it and expect us to say nothing but good things about it =/

 

My biggest issue is the bottom area. The pure black blob doesn't look good to me at all. It lacks a border since you uses pure black, and the sudden transition in shading doesn't help.

 

The whole mirror wing thing is something that should be worked on. Since everyone else has been mentioning it, I'll skip on the explanation.

 

Conceptually I don't quite get it. The wings imply it can fly or something, but the fact that it's bottom part is so blob like inplies that it does very little flight.
