Mehmani
We should rebuild the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
Luis2
To be completely honest' date=' I used to think this way, until I played a few games on YVD without uploading the images a month ago. It really feels like a different game without those images and [b']you really get a sense of how much we take the artwork for granted.[/b] Just like those people that complains too much about cards censoring? CrabHelmet
The right side of the deck box is clearly visible in the second image, which is the one that actually has the perspective.
Dark_Armed_Zombie
Perspective Lesson 1: You are looking at the box from just below it's base, giving it an odd, but true, perspective.
Tronta
am i the only one who noticed that the lines get more and more parallel with the box as they go down? the bottom one is actually parallel, the one above it almost, and the top two ridiculously skewed as though it was from an angle. Guest PikaPerson01
The right side of the deck box is clearly visible in the second image' date=' which is the one that actually has the perspective.[/quote'] To be fair, my box can hold about 80 or so un-sleeved cards. In the show, Gold Sarcophagus is only big enough to hold one card. As such, it's clearly significantly more flat.
玄魔の王
WHAT IS THIS TOPIC I DONT EVEN.... Seriously....I thought maniacal artist complex shall be discussed in the Graphic Design Forum.... Also the art in the cards is only a visual description which become invaluable when compared to the Playability and Effectiveness of a card' date=' [b']WHICH IS WHAT REALLY MATTERS[/b]. Except it isn't. In that case' date=' the object's relative size in contrast to how close it is would be proportional. It is not. It is "bulging" upwards, as if the [b']carpenter[/b] who crafted that box did not properly measure the sides of the box before constructing it. ITT: Gold sarcophaguses made of Gold were made with Wood by a carpenter....XD Fine, the forger who crafted it. Either way, why the F**K does it matter? This is a discussion about badly done art. 1) Art doesn't matter, playability does, unless it's the wrong art for the card. 2) You cannot judge other people's art for a game as surreal as this. 3) I'd like to see you do any F**KING better. Mister Sir
The only really important thing to be learned from this topic is that Pika is a wizard. Everything else is moot.
