I Really Didn't Find Star Trek That Good...

Seriously, I just didn't. Me and my family watched it last night, and I just didn't see how everyone thought it was so good. Maybe because I hated the original Star Trek. The special effects and acting was good, but I just didn't feel any connection to the characters. Meaning I didn't care who lived or died. It was good, but not awesome.

 

So discuss movies you thought wasn't as good as some people say they were. I'll post more later.

I personally loved it. What it set out to do was something really hard, take the old Star Trek and restart it, meaning they could end up making a lot of people really mad, but from what I could tell (as a FYI I never watched any other Trek stuff) they did a good job.

 

Also I love how you say you didn't find it that good, but then call it good. The fact that you aren't a Trek fan means a lot for some one like you to call it good.

I should have chosen my words carefully. I was in a rush (like most of the time) when typing the thread. What I meant was that I didn't find it awesome as some people said. I thought it was okay, but not award winning. It wasn't horrible, just not as good as I thought it would be.

A lot of times when people build something up it makes it hard to live up to it. Look at a lot of video games. when you watch a movie you really need to try to put everything else to the side and just enjoy what you see.
