The Sacred Ninja
Select a total of 2 cards from the Graveyard(s), and return them to their respective owners' Decks. After activation, this card is removed from play. Only 1 "Pot of Benevolence" can be activated per turn. Discuss!

darkwolf777
One's a spell, so you can use it in a Spell Counter deck to give your "When a spell card is activated, place a spell counter on this card" which Transmigration Prophecy cannot do (if you bother using this card to recycle Spell Power Grasp or something). Also, being a Spell Card, its faster. Other than that, I got nothing.
just-duelist
I fail to see this card's purpose.... suffle a spell and another copy of this card back in your deck...i really shouldnt need to say anymore.its basicly an infinit cycle of pure bs... Toffee.
This and Transmigration are practicly the same. Just, the one is a bit slower because its a Trap, and the Spell card version is limited to 1-copy per turn.>___>
Flame Dragon
This and Transmigration are practicly the same. Just' date=' the one is a bit slower because its a Trap, and the Spell card version is limited to 1-copy per turn.>___>[/quote']But isn't the Trap already at 1? The whole "remove it from play" is their because they're afraid tha being able to keep getting this back in your deck would be broken. Really, I know I've said this before but I love how the people that give us some really broken cards in the forms of DSF, JD, and DAD and don't even seem like they're trying to balance them can at the same time clearly be trying to keep other cards from being in the least bit broken, when at the start it wasn't even that good. Tronta
what they foresee, for once in their god damned lives, is the possibility that someone will mof/dmoc an infinite loop, reusing this over and over again in order to empty the graveyards for some purpose, possibly dd borderline or that one spell that lets you draw when theres nothing in your grave.they headed off a possible infinite loop by implementing a fix that they figured wouldnt mess with the card. why they needed the "once per turn" was beyond me, though. probably more so to the purpose i've just alluded. its interesting tech, but at the end of the day not worth it, just like transmig isnt worth it. Canadian
I fail to see this card's purpose.... You'll never deck out with this card. Also, it allows you to re-use limited cards. Nice.
werewolfjedi
well, with this out they can ban the transmigration trap.

Nice.[/quote'] This card is terrible IMO. With PoA you get a +1. Transmigration is chainable to your opponent's actions. This card is a -1 no matter how you look at it. And it can't recycle itself since it get's removed from play after activation. There are much better cards to run than this.
Tronta
people should stop comparing this to PoA. they're very, very different cards.
CrabHelmet
well' date=' with this out they can ban the transmigration trap.[/quote'] Indeed. Similarly, maybe the release of Battle Fader will allow them to finally ban Hero Barrier.

Sephiroth_The_Legend
a meh-ish card. just another card you can throw in a common box. because at least Trans Proph can come Ultimate Rare so it looks good. at the end of the day, both are sub-par but nothing special. Next card.
TheTurtleOnceCalledGod
Pot of Selflessness allows you to be Selfless in helping your opponent recharge their deck, in most cases slowing them down and potentially stopping, for the moment anyways, JD and DAD. However, it is too slow, and it removing itself from play weakens it greatly.

To be honest, it would make more sence if it were a Trap IMO
Mister Sir
I have a feeling Pot of Avarice has somthing forboding on the way if they made a watered down replacement... I also have that same feeling about Horn of Heaven because they released Vanquishing Light and because Pot of Avarice is so important to meta decks right now to make them broken.
