While you control this face-up card, during each battle between a Warrior-Type attacking monster you control and a Defense Position monster whose DEF is lower than the ATK of the attacking monster, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent. Once per turn, when you inflict battle damage to your opponent with this effect, you can draw 1 card.

If this card battles with your opponent's monster, you can return both monsters to their owner's hands at the start of the Damage Step (without damage calculation).

Too hard to get Drill Synchron's effect to trigger consistently as your opponent can just attack over him since he has low ATK thus ending any sort of draw engine you were hoping to acheive with this card. In the age of Synchro's it's so easy to just summon a bigger monster or a monster that can deal with a threat immediately.

 

A lol combo would be having this guy and a monster who can attack multiple times then Book of Eclipse your opponent's field then profit but who the hell is running those cards together.

 

Gran Mole's effect is so useful that it created lock downs during the time it was unlimited. It's still a useful card and can bypass a lot of effects.

mole = 1 drill

synchron = 3 drills

drillago = 19 drills

 

drilago wins

in that case grand neos wins. look at the size of his drill. it doesn't even fit on the card...
