OoC: What happened to the Camper we gave all the Nectar to?

 

Brian's phone beeped and he was back in camp. "Wait!" He called "I can't leave them!" But it was too late and He was not going back into the forest in the dark, who knows how many monsters were in there. He turned his sword back into a phone and he walked to the hermes cabin, deciding he might find them in the morning if they survied. for now though he would tell chiron, he thought running toward the big house.

 

Nick looked around in the dark and was thankful for the Light of dante's sword. "Dante, where did everyone go?"

"gods!" He shouted as the dryad tripped him. "Seriously?! I am truly sorry." He said looking around his sword at the ready. Then he noticed Nikki wasn't with him. "Nikki?!" He called out but when h heard no reply he paniced but he tried to calm down and looked up at the stars. "Okay, okay. Nikki was going somewhere towards Zeus' Fist . . . I think." Then he heard very loud and heavy footsteps. "Who's there?!" He shouted. As a child he was always afraid of the dark and knowing the forest was filled with mosters didn't help him. He heard a roar as a huge cyclops charged at him. He rolled over to he side and he ran into a tree knocking it down like it was a huge pencil stuck in the ground. The cyclops shook it off like it was nothing and ran at him again. Jecht rolled again and stabbed it in the leg. It roared in pain but turned around and stared him down. Jecht was surprised for a second that he didn't disenergrate but stared back. The cyclops charged again, Jecht rolled but the not far enough. The cyclops hit him with its huge fist, hitting him directly in the chest The wind was knock out of Jecht and he was rammed into a tree. The tree was none other than the angry tree nymph. She screamed and ran through the trees as Jecht rammed into her.

IC: 'I have no idea.' Dante replied. 'Let's go get some rest; they're probably already sleeping in some Apollo tents.'

 

'Jecht?' Nikki called behind her. Gods! Again I have to backtrack. And with this cursed injury... Then she saw the cyclops. Nikki smiled, amused. A cyclops? Really? Too easy. Then, she assumed a fighting stance, not bothering to draw her single dagger, nor to become invisible, and she climbed nimbly up a tree, balancing on a tree branch easily. She looked down and saw Jecht being knocked aside into the nymph by the cyclops. She rolled her eyes. Then she deftly drew her stiletto and threw it. The tip of the blade, coated with acidic centaur blood, fell point blank through the cyclops' skull, and the beast exploded in a shower of particles, Nikki's dagger falling silently to the ground. Nikki jumped down adeptly, landing slightly off balance because of her sprained ankle, and she retrieved her knife. 'How hard is it to follow me?' She asked, exhasperated.

Jecht rubbed his head after hitting it against the tree. "Yeah, real hard apparentally." He said getting up feeling a bit dizzy. "Thanks, for like killing it. I had it under control. You know a plan and all that jazz but seriously I don't really care what you've been doing out here so much." He said anixous to get out of the forest. "Where's my sword?" He said feeling around not able to see anything while still trying to find his weapon. "Well, Miss Perfect in the Dark can you please help me find my sword."

Nikki picked up his blade. 'I wouldn't make jokes if I were you. Do you know how easily I could impale you right here with your own blade? And if you don't care, then why come at all?' She stuck Jecht's blade in the ground half a centimetre away from his foot, and left, her slim form instantly melting into the shadows, leaving Jecht alone in the forest.

 

Dante couldn't sleep. He tossed and turned for hours, but to no avail. So he got up from the healing tent he was sleeping in, and went out to try and get to camp. He wanted to sleep in his own bed, instead of in a tent on the ground. So he got up and left.

"Nikki! I didn't mean it like like! I came because I was worried about you!" He yelled but she was already gone. "Gods, I'm so stupid. Mental Note to self, sarcasm and girls don't mix. AT ALL!" He said to himself fearing he had really messed it up now. "You know, if you hadn't tripped me I wouldn't be in this situation." He said to the trees around him.

 

Then. to his surprise on of them turned into a tree nymph smiling. "I know." She said walking over to him. She was standing over him and picked up his sword.

 

"Why do you do this to me?" Jecht asked really not knowing.

 

"Truly? I got bored. You know messing with the styrs isn't as fun as messing with you half-bloods." She replied still smiling.

 

Jecht didn't really care at this moment. He had just got Nikki mad, she knew the way out, he didn't. He thought he might as well just sit here until morning. He just looked up at the stars and yawned. The nymph was twirling the sword around and examing its craftsmanship. "Nice sword." He said tossing it to him.

 

Jecht caught it easily. "What do you know about weapons.

 

"I've been here for years. I've seen the forge kids and I've learned a thing or two from them."

"Well, I guess, I'm off." He said to the nymph and started his poor attempt to excape the forest. He was mumbling to himself. "Great, Nikki hates me, some tree nymph has decided to make my life miserable, I'm lost in this frikin forest. Well, let's look at the bright side, the mosters are most likely to eat me and I'll never be found, oh happy day." Jecht was extremely lost with no sense of direction. "Nikki, do you hate me?" He asked himself half hoping Nikki would pop out of nowhere and started being sarcastic. "Well, I guess I'll just I'm stuck her until, Nikki gets over hating me, a tree nymph would be kind enough to help me, they send a search party once they notice I'm gone, or I'll get killed and sent to the underworld. The last one is the most likly though." He said and just sat down and closed his eyes, tuning into the woods. Suddenly hi could hear the sound of rushing water. He got excited and started running towards the site. He had found te river! "Now then, which way do I go? Left or Right. Right I guess." He said walking off following the stream unknowingly farther into the forest.

'Wrong way, genius.' Nikki dropped out of a tree in front of him. 'The camp's that way. Along the river, not against it. The river goes from the forest to the camp. You're going against the river.' Then Nikki's eyes glazed over.

'Black as sleep and deep as dreaming,

darkness like an endless night,

but with heroes, sacred beings,

bright and bravely shines our light'

Nikki murmered softly, ominously. Then she started. 'What the?...'

"Oh, are you here to 'impale me with my own blade'?" Jecht said looking around at where she had come from. Some kinda ninja. Then he thought to himself. NO MORE SARCASM!!!!! SHE WILL KILL YOU!!! "Look, I'm sorry for what I said, I didn't mean it that way. I meant was worried for you with your njuries and everything." Then she said some kind of phropcy. "Huh? What's that supposed to mean? Is that supposed to put me to sleep or something?"

Nick looked up. "Oh theres camp." He said to Dante as he ran through the trees. "I am so tired." He said walking up to the cabin sites. He saw Chiron and Brian walking toward hermes cabin. "....And maybe we need a quest to figure out what to do about the monsters. I just don't know what..." Brian stopped when he saw Nick running toward them. Chiron nodded at the both and then trotted off to the big house probably to talk to Dionysis. "Well you really think something is wrong?" Nick asked Brian. Brian nodded before walking into cabin 11. Nick said goodbye and then walked into appollo for the night.

Nikki grunted, clearing her head. 'You and I both know that A: I'm not holding your sword, B: I Hum to knock people out, and C: My leg is fine.' But Nikki was having trouble standing still. 'Come on, camp's this way.' Nikki started limping along the river the opposite way that Jecht had been going.

 

'Yeah.' Dante agreed. 'A quest could help. Well, see you tomorrow.' And Dante went into his cabin, changing quickly.

"Okay." Jecht said walking right beside her. "So do you know what happened back there?" He asked thinking about the lines Nikki had recited. "You sounded like you were the Oracle there for a second." He said but then the camp was in sight.

 

An older Hermes child ran up to him. "Hey! Jecht! Where have you been?! We've been looking for you, Chiron has called an emergency meeting, he didn't want anybody listening.

 

Jecht looked over to Nikki "You sure your okay?" He asked abd then walked off to the Big House. Inside ther was a long table with three other campers and Chiron there. Someone was off to get Dante and bring him here. The Hermes kid and Jecht took there seats. Everybody was arguing as normal.

 

"It was that Nikki girl, I bet." Said an Apollo camper and Hermes leader agreed. "She's been sneaking off into the forest every night."

 

Jecht stood up outraged. "If wasn't her. I know her personally. She wouldn't something like this." What was she doing out there though?

Dante entered. 'Wasn't Nikki-' He started to say, before being interrupted. 'Nikki wouldn't summon monsters. Just because she goes out at night doesn't mean she summoned the monsters into camp. And why would breaking curfew mean she summoned monsters? I break curfew half the time, and I didn't summon them.'

 

Nikki, invisible, followed Dante into the room. She silently and invisibly strode to a corner, and listened to the arguments. 'That Nikki girl, I bet.' She heard someone say. 'Summon monsters', 'Wouldn't do something like this.', 'Every night.', 'Kronos', 'Training exercise?'

Nikki shook her head invisibly. However, she forgot she was wearing her hairband sling, and the small silver orb clinked against the wall. It wasn't loud, but the people nearest her, Jecht and Dante, heard it faintly.

'Did you hear something?' Dante asked to nobody in particular. Nikki cursed silently, and fled the room on silent footfalls, running to the Athena cabin. She entered, climbed up to her bed, and swiftly undid the string, folding her weapon into a pocket in her coat before the door had shut. Nikki lay down, thinking.

"Oh, yeah. I've seen you with that Nikki girl. How do we know that your not with her." The Demeter leader said to Dante, while the Hephutus guy was just sitting down and watching them argue. Mr. D was reading a magizine about wine and Chiron looked btween the campers and heard their agruments.

Jecht heard the ping and knew instantly that Nikki was listening in. "Hey! You've all been acusing people how do we know you didn't do it."

The Demeter child stood but Chiron put his hand up. "Stop this bickering. Well, I'm not the one to go pointing fingers--"

"Oh! I am!" Mr. D added in but Chiron just glared at him.

"-- but Nikki's actions speak for it. Putting people to sleep. Tsk, tsk. I say we send her to the Oracle and she if she says anything. All in favor." Everbody rasied their hands even Jecht. "Well then, tomarrow morning we'll see if the Oracle has an input in this dispute."

Dante replied to the Demeter leader with, 'Quick request: Shut up.' Then he heard Chiron's suggestion, and raised his hand, along with everyone else. Nikki's innocent. A visit to the oracle can't hurt her.

Nikki changed into her nightgown, and put away all of her equipment. So, it appears I'm hated by all cabin leaders except for Aphrodite and my own. At least Jecht and Dante know I'm telling the truth. For once. Then Nikki started humming the other Athena campers to sleep.

IC: Jecht nodded and then walked out of the room feeling very tired. "Night." He said to Dante before walking to the Athena cabin. He heard Nikki's humming as it lured him into the temptation of slumber. He thought about telling her to knock it off but he was feeling very tired and his time he just layed back in his bed and let the magical song do its work of putting him to deep sleep.

Once everyone in the cabin was asleep, Nikki got up yet again. She picked up her ring, and slipped it on over her finger, making her invisible. She silently got up, and jumped down from her bed, not making a sound. She opened the door, and slipped through. Then Nikki broke out into a run, heading to Aphrodite cabin. She slipped inside silently, saw Dante, and strode over. Silently, she reached into his pocket and expertly pickpocketed the magical scarf she had given him. With it tucked inside the secret pocket in her nightgown, Nikki stood still and unseen in the middle of the room, waiting for the door to be opened by someone else, or for the Aphrodite campers to fall asleep. In fact... Nikki started to hum. Why not just speed the process up a little?

OoC: IM still posting but i just don't see a good time to post.

 

IC: Brian rolled over on his bunk not tired anymore. He climbed out and decided to take a stroll until sunrise. He walked past the lake and the arena, the ampitheater and finnaly the big house. He was walking now but he picked up a jog, then he broke into a run hoping to clear off some energy. He pulled at his phone and turned it to a caduces and with one swift motion he was airborne high above camp, the world, and everything.

Jecht awoke to find most of the beds empty. It seemed that most woke up early to hear if the Oracle said anything. The conch blew and everyone walked to the dining pavilion but most were looking around for Nikki. Chiron walked up to Jecht knowing he was the leader for the Athena cabin, where Nikki was staying. "Jecht, do you know where Nikki is?"

"No sir, but I'll see if I can find her." Jecht replied leaving the dining pavilion to find Nikki somewhere.

Nikki was sitting by the lake, leaning on a tree. The monsters were summoned here, so if anything, they were summoned by a camper. That's obvious. But why? To get back at someone? Someone they could frame to get in trouble, assuming they survived? Someone everyone suspects, but nobody knows. Someone like me. Unless they were simply trying to kill everyone, and induce fear and distrust into the campers who survived. Sounds like a terror demigod, maybe child of Deimos. Or someone's helping Kronos or other Titans. It seems like something Kronos would do. Unless maybe it's Prometheus, who'd know that the camper's would think it's Kronos.

Jecht saw Nikki under a tree and walked over to her. He said held out his hand to help her up and said, "Its time Nikki. Everybody's looking around for you. Some aren't too happy about it either. C'mon. Let's just get it over with." He helped her up and then said, "Don't go insane up there." and started to walk with her back to the dining pavilion and to meet up with Chiron.

Talia was in an Apollo tent, being cared for. Every single part of her body ached. Her leg had a deep wound in it that stung like nettles. Her arm had a gash that was thickly wrapped under a cloth, and there was a big red blotch showing through the cloth that was her blood. She had just been given some ambrosia and nectar to help the pain. She groaned. It didn't help that much. Talia didn't want to be stuck in here, moaning and groaning with pain, and having to be bored to death. She wanted to be outside, in the fresh air, and just do something, instead of lie there!

Nikki nodded. 'You sound as if I'm not insane already.' Then she went into the attic. 'Did I summon the monsters into camp?' She asked dubiously. The oracle didn't reply. Typical. She thought. Everybody getting, as usual, worked up over nothing.

 

Dante decided to practice on the climbing wall. He wasn't much good at it, but that was the point of training, wasn't it? About five minutes later Dante realized that if his shield was lava-proof. 'Epic.' He breathed, as lava poured down on his shield, raised above his head. Then the walls started moving closer together, ready to crush Dante if he didn't move faster. 'Dang' He muttered.

Jecht was pacing up and down beside the attic stairs.

The Oracle turned its head to look directly and Nikki and stood up. The mummy with a tie-dye shirt stood and opened its mouth and a green mist poured out surrpunding Nikki.

The one who made monsters come, is one of pure heart.

To find the one who is of betrayal,

You must fight the birds of many archers

along with as many as you choose.

You will find the item that will lead the way

You will make a rival of great power but one will a gain greater weapon.

One will may die, one may lose, one may win.

Then again its all about how you play the game.

Then the Oracle sat down and became still again but it it did it almost seemed as if it winked at Nikki.

Once Nikki had come from the attic Jecht ran up to her eagerly. "Well? Did the Oracle say anything to you? You were up there for a long time." He said but then grunted and crouched down on the floor. A wave of pain had struck him all of a sudden, coming from his back. He grimiced and slowly tried to stand again. Jecht used the wall to support his wieght. "I'm okay, just tell me what happened up there."
