Deida was looking amused. He was definately in control. "I will use the effect of Hand Destruction!" A Sasuke Samurai appeared he was standing in between of both players. "Now what shall you do give up your monster for another card that could help you win ... or make a hopeless attempt to get rid of this card?" It's a catch twenty-two he is on the brink of losing so he could get a card of use. "Now then shall you use your monster in your hand or try to draw into a good card?" Deida laughed.

[Time Psyduck]

((OOC: Hime probably wouldn't need to kneel. The duel spirit is normal human size, just short. She's not a child either; I used 'girl' because it flows better. Also she can float.))

 

"My name?" the girl asked, seeming to be surprised by the question. "I'm not sure. I think I forgot it for some reason. The people who see me generally call me 'Priestess' though, so I guess it would be my name, at least for now."

 

Harrison was still typing, but he glanced over at the pair for a moment. So she can see duel spirits. Interesting.

"So, 'Priestess', can you keep a secret? Because I have one that I'm willing to share with you and your partner, if you two are willing."

She then went over to the door and locked it from anyone entering, then walked to the window behind Harrison and pressed a button on a console next to the window, causing it to tint so no one could see.

"So, you wanna see my secret?"

Daichi looked down at his deck and grinned. "I'll take that draw, 'cause when my Fake Field is Destroyed, it counts as a field spell in my graveyard." Daichi Was happy, now he could turn this duel around. He drew a card from his deck.

"and now that Fake Field is in the Graveyard, i can activate traps from my hand. Go FIRE SEAL!"

Harrison was still tracking the new teacher, and noticed that she understood how the window-tinting system worked. It wasn't a surprise, since the dorms had a similar system, but he wondered exactly what could be so serious that she'd feel the need to tint a window that wasn't overlooked.

 

He stopped typing, and closed the laptop. He glanced over at the priestess, who shrugged, but then nodded. Both of them turned to the woman standing at the window. Harrison spoke.

 

"Very well then."

OoC:Yes you can, Millenium gold is the top students in the school, there is only one rank higher; Ryko White, which especially for the pros, you must have graduated to be in Ryko White.

 

IC: "Hmph...I've got history now, wonder if I'll get lucky and duel someone on the way in..." Kicker walked into history and saw a new Millenium gold student, "Haa...Prepy rich kid, not gonna last long here..." He walked to his seat and, again put his feet on the desk.

[Ace Daimon]

Hime nodded, and walked towards the center of the room, until she stood in the middle, facing Harrison and Priestess.

She then sighed, concentrated, and an aura of Duel Energy surrounded her.

Her clothes began to shift into a geisha-like kimono that had clown-like stripes, but was colored in no real pattern, with all the colors of the rainbow reflected in her new kimono. The kimono also gained golden stars on random parts of the outfit. Hime's skin went paler, becoming chalk-white, as she gained face-paint markings that were made of the same substance her hair was, changing color as Hime saw it fit.

Within 30 seconds, the strange teacher had been replaced by a beautiful geisha clown.

"This is my true form: the Clown Princess, my deck's ace card. I can see Priestess because, like her, I am a Duel Monster Spirit. But I am bound to no master or mistress. Instead, I have temporarily relinquished my title as heiress of all Toon Monsters to teach a new generation of duelists how to duel better."

She then got on her knees and bowed her head at Harrison, a small stream of tears rolling down her painted face, yet not ruining the paint itself.

"Please, don't reject me because of my true identity! I am a spirit of mischief, jokes, and laughter, but I aim at giving the student body something to laugh at from my class! My intentions aren't to harm, but to help!"

"Please, let me stay!"

 

((Only Harrison and Priestess know that Hime is the Clown Princess.))

Harrison stared in utter disbelief. This just wasn't possible. He'd heard of the Clown Princess before - Pegasus had mentioned it a couple of times, but for some reason had decided not to use it himself. But a duel spirit having somehow becoming a human? Was that even possible? Hime was suddenly on her knees and crying gently, mumbling something about not being sent away. Harrison looked over to the priestess, who seemed as surpried as he was. The two looked at each other for a moment, before the girl closed her eyes and nodded. So she is a duel spirit. Now this is interesting

 

"Well," he replied slowly, "since I'm not responsible for deciding who stays and who goes, I can't send you away; but I see no reason why I can't keep your secret."

 

Harrison stood up and offered Hime a hand - his left one. "Just do me a favour," he added, "Don't go overboard. Unusual teaching methods are understandable, but do too much and the people above me will start to ask awkward questions.

joey took a look at kicker. he stared at him like everyone else did and most likly thought he was just another rich kid who thought he was all that. joey walked over to kicker.

"you know i realy dont like that stare your giving me so if you plan to keep up up then you might aswell duel me." joey pulled out his duel disk and put his deck in. he was ready for the challange.

"ill be waiting out by the slifer dorms near the edge of the forest come if your not afried."

"I hate to tell you this but he wasn't exactly 'destroyed' he was just sent to the Graveyard get the facts through your head there's a difference!" Deida laughed at this mistake. (OOC: besides you only had your weird negating card in your hand) "Now I will discard Formless Bird and Flip of Destiny!" The Sasuke Samurai slashed the two cards. Then the Sasuke Samurai handed him two more cards and disappear. "Now I would like to present you with Formless Renewal I can remove from play two Formless monsters in the Graveyard to draw 1 card for each!" Deida picked up the top two cards from his deck. "Now! I use Burial from a Different Dimension to return my cards!" Deida laughed. "Now I will summon another Formless Bird!" A blob of energy appeared in front of the castles it changed into a bird and then a feather like the other. "Now I will Special Summon Formless Light!" Deida laughed once again. "I now use his effect discard all the cards in my hand to the Graveyard to destroy every card on the field except for him!" The light stretched and then rays of light pierced it over everything else on the field. "Now I use his final effect to remove from play all my Formless monsters!" The light grew larger in it's ball shape, shining a blinding light. "To have him gain attack equal to half the combined of all the monsters removed!" The ball formed into a giant hand with a ball of light underneath in it's palm. "I now add half the attack of my Formless Birds and my Formless Cats!" Two feathers and two paws flew towards the hand. "And then half the attack of my Formless Triceratops!" A horn flew towards the hand. "Now he has enough attack to win this duel!" The hand gripped the ball of light, rays of light burst from the ball. "Now finish this duel!" The hand threw the ball of light at Daichi without warning. And then upon contact it exploded.

OOC: Also World of Order can only be stopped by removing it... and it still prevents your effects it is meant to keep all Field Spells from being playable as long as its in the Graveyard ... great card also you would have 7300 Life Points while Formless Light would have 7400...

joey stormed out of the classroom and over towords the forest near the slifer dorm. he sat agianst a tree and poped in his mp3 getting himself psyched up for the duel. even if he lost he would still injoy the duel.

"Thank you!" Hime lunged at Harrison and hugged his leg.

"I knew Daddy would approve! He's the one that managed to convince the school board to give me a shot, you know! And I'm glad that I have a human friend here at Duel Academy!"

Harrison only just managed to stay upright as Hime lunged at his leg. He looked at the priestess for help, but she chuckled at the pair of them. She did, however, come closer.

 

Something else hit Harrison's mind. Daddy?

 

Who on earth could be the father of a Duel Spirit and have enough influence to persuade the school board to hire her as a teacher? One face appeared in front of him instantly, but he shook it off. It couldn't be. Well it could, that was why he'd just thought of it, but did he really want to know?

 

The priestess got there before him. Apparently as confused as he was about the influence a duel spirit's parent could have, she asked first.

 

"Your father?" she asked, kneeling down beside the other spirit, "Who's he?"

It struck Hime that she was grappled onto the vice-head's leg, and she quickly stood up.

"I'm so sorry about my behavior, but I was just overwhelmed with emotion."

"And my father is the same person as my creator: Maximilian Pegasus!"

"Want me to explain?"

"Game. Good duel, nice cards. I surrender." Daichi said, He picked up his card and extended his hand for a handshake. Deida accepted and smiled. Daichi also smiled. it was a good game but Daichi had lost, He just didn't have the cards to win. Daichi was finished.

joey took out his head phones and looked around. it was quite and no one was around. he couldnt shake the feeling that something was going to happen to him. he pulled out his genisis dragon and saw its protective glow.

"something the matter old friend?"

Daichi walked down the hall in disappointment. Out of all the duels he had done over the years he had only lost a handful of times. His resent loss against Deida had really killed his moral. He headed back to his room to fix up his deck.

 

A Older man appeared next to him. He had a long White hair and had a cain made of solid wood. His robes were made of some unknown material. This Was the Conductor of Nature, His fathers trump card and his duel Spirit. Where ever he walked, the ground around him changed. The look on his face was that of worry.

 

"Are you going to Be ok." The old man said to Daichi. Daichi sat down on his bed, inside his dorm. He then looked at the Conductor.

"I don't know. Losing has killed my moral, It's been years since i Lost. But i dont think its the lose itself. The power of that Formless light was beyond reason. I've never seen any thing that powerful."

Conductor of Nature just nodded. He sinced that power, the power of a duel spirit. Daichi just began looking at his deck, and fixed it up. Next time he would not lose, He wouldn't allow it.

((I'm just gonna pour out the story anyways so I can get to a duel.))

 

Hime took the silence as a yes and started, reverting back to normal before she did so.

"Years ago, Maximilian Pegasus, my father, had a bride, Cecelia, who died of a mysterious illness, but Pegasus created a card to remind him of his wife. Eventually, he was consumed by his lost love, and tried several times to bring her back. All the while, the Cecelia card gathered enough Duel Energy for a small bridge to be created between this world and the next. Cecelia, my mother, told Daddy that she was in a better place, and that she wished for him to join her when his time came, but she wanted them to have a child, but a child of their own creation. Daddy realized that she meant for him to use Duel Energy, which was just being discovered at the time, to create a Duel Monster Spirit."

"So Daddy set to work, joining his own tournaments, and creating ace Toon Monster after ace Toon Monster, gathering up enough Duel Energy to give birth to his little princess of Duel Monsters, one of his greatest Toons yet: me, the Clown Princess, a being created from a pre, innocent love and a passion for a card game that an entire lifetime was spent creating."

"Banashime isn't my real name, but a pseudonym that I use. My birth name will be revealed in good time. Please, don't take the fact that I am the brainchild, almost literally, of the creator of this game. My father crafted playmates for me, fellow Clowns that serve as both my friends and my protectors, and I intend on using my comrades to make my own name!"

Harrison stared. He'd figured Pegasus was the most likely candidate, but he'd never imagined something like this. That explains...well a lot actually. It's certainly explains why the Clown Princess card was never in his deck or even on the one-off card register, and it explains why he felt the need to participate in tournaments. And there I was thinking he just wanted to play his game more.

 

"So that's what he was doing," he muttered. "I have to say, I knew Pegasus was still in love with his wife, but I never imagined that he'd do something like this, or that it would even be possible. I suppose there are some things you just have to keep to yourself, though. I don't think it would help if the public heard about this, and I guess it was a private matter."

 

"If you want to make your own way, I can appreciate that, and we'll both support you however we can, right?" He looked over at the Priestess, who nodded as she drifted over. I might not work for him anymore, but I can't just ignore his family.

[Ace Daimon]

Hime bowed to Harrison.

"Thank you, sir."

She then untinted the windows and unlocked the door.

"Now, if you excuse me, I must be going. I'm gonna go find someone to duel."

[Time Psyduck]

"That's fine," Harrison replied, "come back if you need anything. Oh and you might want to change back before you leave."

 

He watched her leave, and then collapsed back into the desk chair. "Well that's a new one. The new teacher is a duel spirit," he sighed, "and apparently one close to Pegasus. You'd have thought he'd have mentioned something about it last week."

 

"They must have wanted to keep the connection secret," the priestess replied, "he must not have expected you to to meet up this quickly."

 

"Maybe, but why didn't you mention that she's a duel spirit? Wouldn't you be able to tell a duel spirit and a human apart?"

 

"For some reason I couldn't whilst she was in human form. Once she changed it was obvious enough, but her disguise is pretty good. Besides, you didn't ask."

 

"Yes, because 'Is the new teacher a duel spirit?' is the kind of question people regularly ask," Harrison noted sarcastically. "So, do you think that those who can't see spirits will see her in her spirit form?"

 

"I have no idea," the priestess replied, "I might see if I can find out though." She faded from sight, and Harrison pulled out his deck and turned over the top card. It depicted a powerful looking dragon breathing flames.

 

Dragon of the Sleeping Goddess. I'd like a chance to use it sometime. Perhaps I should... no. It can wait, and it'd be better if I got to see the deck in use against someone else first

 

He put the deck back and reopened the laptop. He still had a few hours, and he'd wasted enough time already today.

Deida headed back to the dorm. "Amazing power ... incredible ... but there is only one thing wrong with it ... the power it contained was overwhelming." Deida sighed and pulled the card out of his deck. Where did this come from. I never saw, no even heard of this card at all and it just appears in my deck. Deida thought. It sure did take a lot out of me using it, I don't know why though. Deida took a seat on his bed. I cannot believe that I won like that. He then took off his duel disk. "Next time I duel there is no regrets about using Formless Light after." Deida sighed.

Hime walked out of the main Duel Academy building, looking for some to duel with her.

Well, I'm glad that Harrison was fine with the fact that I am not only a Duel Monster Spirit, but I am the "daughter" of Maximilian Pegasus. Good thing the fact that a sizable portion of the spiritual energies that give me form are human, otherwise this disguise would be next to useless if there was spiritually-sensitive human around here. It would take someone who was very active with Duel Monster Spirits to detect my true identity, and even then, they would only get an odd feeling around me. Now, who should I duel first?

She saw a male Obelisk Blue student, and called him over.

"Hey! You! Think you're good enough to go up against a teacher?!?"
