IC: Kicker walked along back to history...for some reason that was all he had today;

He walked along the corridor to history, when he saw some kid, but that wasnt the strange part...the strange part was the duel spirit yelling at him...Kicker just looked confused, turned and walked off. He reached history, sat down, put his feet up on the desk and tok his deck out of his pocket. He was just staring at Exidra, his new card.

Joey was confused, so he explained,

the king recarnates every 1000 years as an mortal, alog is his spirit warrior or in this case, you "Genesis Dragon", you are the recarnation of the one who banished thease warriors from the golden army, i dont know what this is for, but we wont be liking it.....

*wispers to joey* "shes my love, before i was sent to the mortal relm to look for the next lord, she and i were about to marry, but she was corrupted, those revealing my location and probaly bringing me here"

 

A teardrop fell, VAlarie, /My love, dont you remember those happy times together? Why Valerie, why??

"Huh?"

 

"What is it?" Harrison asked. The priestess seemed as though she could hear something' date=' faintly from a distance.

 

"I'm not sure- wait! Got it!" She shot off suddenly, rushing straight though the door. Harrison considered staying, but he figured anything that would cause her to such off like that had to be important. He'd find out off one of them what happened afterwards anyway, so he ran after the duel spirit.

 

"Where are we going?" he asked, as he caught up.

 

"I'm not sure," she answered, "but we'll find out when we get there."

 

They did so soon enough. Harrison knocked on Jaxis' classroom door and waited for a response.

 

"Nothing. You sure it's in here?" he asked, his hand on the door handle. The priestess nodded, and Harrison swung the door open. Jaxis was unconscious, his head slumped onto the desk. Harrison rushed towards the other teacher.

 

"Jaxis!" he called, "are you aright?" he rushed over and lifted his head and checked his breathing and pulse. "He seems to be alive, as far as I can tell, but he's better off in the infirmary. Come on, wake up Jaxis," he added as he placed the unconscious man's arm around his own shoulder and lifted him from his seat.

All of a sudden, an warrior in blue armor appeard

"Where and what did you bring and do to my master??!?!?!?!!??!"

"He pointed a sword at him, LEAVE, or fall by my blade!"

Harrison had half-carried, half dragged Jaxis to the infirmary - there really wasn't any other way to get him there alone, and for some reason the corridors were oddly empty. He was sure there were supposed to be more students around - perhaps they'd all gone outside to watch the two other teachers dueling.

 

Once there he left the staff to their job and sat outside, his head buried in his hands. Today had suddenly gone bad. A teacher had collapsed for no apparent reason, and apparently so had a student. Worse, that student had apparently vanished from the infirmary whilst no-one was looking. The staff claimed he wouldn't have been able to leave on his own, and were in alarm that he had been kidnapped. Harrison had security searching the grounds for the boy, and now he was sat waiting for the medical staff to finish with Jaxis.

 

"They won't find him," the priestess spoke up.

 

"What?"

 

"Security won't find the boy," she clarified, "because he's not on the island."

 

"What are you talking about?"

 

"There was a sort of...echo where he was last seen, as if there was a portal to a different dimension there that's since closed up."

 

"And you think he was taken through it?"

 

"Probably."

 

"Could you re-open it?"

 

"I'm not sure, but I could try."

 

"Then try," he sighed. She drifted over to where Joey had been taken from and lifted her staff. A look of concentration developed on her face. Harrison walked in a few seconds later, and watched as a dark shadow appeared.

 

"Did it work? Is that it?" he asked.

 

"This is it, but it's out of phase," she explained, "I think I can open it up, but I'm not certain."

 

She resumed her effort, the shadow seeming to pulse, and the blurred edges seemed to come into focus.

Dominique was walking around school, wondering if anyone would actually pay attention to the only Goth on the enitre campus, when she heard something coming from nearby.

She looked around, and then spotted two teachers duking it out. One had mechanical-loking monsters, while the other used what looked like female clowns. Dominique decided to go watch the duel, and she managed to get up close since no one ever paid any attention to her. It then dawned on her that the teacher with the clowns seemed a bit off...

All of a sudden, the portal widen and sucked Harrison in, along with his duel spirit, they appear in what looks like an abandoned town, when all of a sudden, 3 warriors came up and shouted HALT!, who are you and what are you doing here?

The soldiers then grabbed Harrison and his duel spirit and dragged him away........

Suddenly the portal began to expand massively, drawing both Harrison and the priestess in.

 

"I assume you didn't plan for this," he stated.

 

"No."

 

They slammed into solid ground again, Harrison just about staying upright, but the priestess falling onto her face.

 

"Owch," she declared, "that hurt. Wait, why did it hurt?" she asked. Harrison had noticed something else as well, and, taking hold of her arm, helped her to her feet.

 

"It seems you have a physical presence in this place," he explained, "but just where is this place?" Looking around, it looked as though it was some sort of town, but it seemed abandoned. Without warning, a trio of armed people came up to them, demanding tho know who they were and where they came from.

 

Makes sense - we did just drop into this dimension unannounced. "OK, OK, we don't mean any-"

 

At this point two of the men had grabbed them, and were trying to take them somewhere, however they had barely gotten more than a few steps when a glow appeared on Harrison's chest. Without warning a tall man, scarred, with torn clothing and two blades, appeared. He swung the blades, and a shockwave erupted from them. For some reason Harrison and the priestess were unaffected, but the men dragging them were knocked back and force to release their captives. Harrison pulled the priestess behind him and turned back to the men who had attempted to capture them.

 

"You know, if you want to know who we are, it's usually polite to at least give us chance to answer your questions before you manhandle us," he told the men.

 

"Your timing was as impeccable as ever, Mr Hero," the priestess whispered to the other figure.

The soldiers(btw, nice improvision, i like i) looked fearfuly at them now, "okay, but be known we cannot tell you all we know, our king, Lord Joey of the Golden Army, has been captured by the Exiled, preumly be diliverd to the Shadowsworn, we are now acting under the orders of the Prime Minister and scouting the land, we saw you fall trough a portal with the energy signiture of the Exiled, so we assumed you were an enemy, but we are sorry, your warrior blast was not an Exiled signiture, but still unknown of what, you and you girlfriend must follow us to the knigdom, or we will activate an talismen that will restrain even the strpongest magic and intoeregate you painfully and you dont want that right?"

Harrison and the priestess look at each other, and then back to the soldiers.

 

"She's not my Girlfriend," Harrison explained.

 

"He's not my Boyfriend," the priestess explained at exactly the same moment.

 

"That aside," Harrison continued, "the portal we used was not ours. I am a teacher, and one of my students has gone missing. It seems the portal we passed through was the escape route of the kidnappers, and hence we also came through the same one, to find him. Of course we'll go with you - if the portal was created by created by your enemies then it's probable that they took my student as well, although I should warn you that my Warrior companion-"

 

There was a whooshing sound from behind the priestess.

 

"-is liable to come and go as he will. He probably won't do anything unless you put my other associate in danger, so he's not a threat to you, and so long as she's not in danger he won't be back. I could explain, but it's complicated - in fact I'm not even sure I understand it fully myself."

 

Whilst Harrison had been explaining themselves to the soldiers, the priestess had been thinking about something else that the soldiers had said. She suddenly realised why it seemed familiar.

 

"Excuse me," she put in, "but did you say it was your Lord Joey that was captured?

"Yes Mi'Lady, the soldier starts to recite the 1000 year ledgend of the king, Baron Jaxis was sent to find him, but their energy signitures disappeared or are being cloaked, theya re in danger, but in this world, the Lord Joey has a Genesis Dragon, a few left in the world, will you help us?"

[Time Psyduck]

"Genesis Dragon?" Harrison asked, realising both what the priestess was thinking and that they just have proof of it, "that's my student! He's some lord of this place? Why does this not surprise me? Then it seems we have the same goal after all, since we're trying to recover the same person."

 

"So who's this Baron Jaxis then?" he added after a moment's though, although he had a feeling he'd already met said baron, or at least someone related to him, already - somehow it didn't seem likely to be a coincidence that the teacher he's just taken to the infirmary back in his own dimension had the same name.

"Of course," Harrison replied, "please, lead the way."

 

As they set off after the soldiers he leaned in towards the priestess.

 

"How are you feeling?" he asked.

 

"A little strange," she admitted, "It's been a while since I had a solid body, but it's not that bad. I think I'm getting used to it already." Her stomach gave a low rumble. "Food sounds good though. I haven't needed any in a while, and I seem to remember I like the taste."

 

Harrison smiled as he straightened up. He began to mull over what he'd learnt in his mind. So the Jaxis who went to find Joey is his cousin, depending on how the kings are related to each other. I would guess that that Jaxis is the one I know, which would mean he clearly found Joey. Of course that doesn't explain why he's unconscious in the infirmary.

Joey, i know this is alot to absorb right now, but thease [i']people[/i] are probaly going to give us to the Shadowsworn, they are and opposite of the golden army, lead by a Frostreaver named Arthras, we the golden kingdom may never find rest untill they are destroyed. We belive, you are the key, so do them which is why they want to stop you from unlocking you true abilityes.

IC: Kickers deck started shaking, there was a large flash coming from his deck, the all of a sudden, Leonidas and Exidra had burst through te roof, and were fighting, they were no longer duel spirits, they had become real. They launched attacks at eachother, the looked like they were trying to destroy eachother, but then this new monster appeared, the new monster was a Divine Drgon like Exidra and Leonidas, but looked balenced, he was the Divine Archlord Dragon; Eternal, he calmed the two battling drgons, who then turmed back into cards. But a blast shot from out of no-where, it hit Eternal, and transformed him into a card(

), and the Divine Fallen Drgon appeared, he had finally fulfilled his obbsesion, to destroy the lest remeining defender, but before Kicker completly lost it, a man appeared next to him, he was Kickers brother, Virgil. And with this a new adventure began....

 

OoC: Now we will have openings for new people, all previous adventures your characters have been on can continue, but they must eventually lead into this...

Boy? the priestess wondered, raising an eyebrow. Harrison however ignored it, took a deep breath, and began:

 

"I suppose the best place to start is who we are. My name is James Harrison, and I am a teacher, in what I would presume is another dimension to this. My associate currently lacks the knowledge of her name, however she is a member of a...religious order will do. This is however only a secondary matter.

 

"One of my students, Joey Miles - who you perhaps know better as Lord Joey - was unconscious within our school infirmary, when someone opened a portal into our dimension, took him, and returned though it. I arrived some time later, with a colleague of mine who was also unconscious. It was at that point that my companion became aware of the remains of the portal. In an attempt to re-open it we were drawn though it unprepared, and so arrived in this dimension.

 

"From this point on, you'll have heard first hand from your men, however I believe your statement of 'blast from the past' refers to my other associate. It would be erroneous to say he is from the past; rather he comes from the other 'direction', that would be the future. I have to admit I do not know a great deal about him, but it seems he has records of our actions, and has been using them to locate my companion when she has need of aid.

 

"I believe that covers everything that's important," Harrison concluded. "Now, regarding your military action..." He looked to the priestess, who nodded.

 

"...yes, we'll go, however we won't participate in combat unless there is no other option. I am a mediocre fighter at best, and my associate is specialised in non-combat skills."

"wait lord joey! look i know i was born into a rich family buy that has nothing to do with this!" look all i want to do is go home got me i cant stay here! besides if i dont get back to my deminsion soon then the genisis tree with wilt and if that happen.... i just cant let it happen so lets go!"

Dont worry Joey, the Genesis tree is merely and outcroping of your spiritual powers, if we had the time, u could grow plants with just your touch, but we dont ao now heres what we do, first i will get you out of this duegeon, next we must escape, if somehow we get sepeated, follow the call of the shining macaw, then when you see the garden, there is an grower, destined to be your teacher in your powers, he is also a friend and tell him "Wo shi ni th Peng yu, Wo bu hui shang hai ni de" this is the language in which he will teach u and it will make him trust you.

Well, if you cannot fight, there is someone you must meet, he is the future teacher of Joey, the one who will unlock his spiritual abilities, and lock his Destructive abilities away, though Lord Joey is the defender, but his other ability is powerful, he can ERASE. that power is once every 4000 years, Joey got lucky and was the one to inherit it. Perhaps you can teach him in the ways of the Spiritual Abilities?

 

Noe, enough of this talk, *claps hand* COOKS!, a bunch of cooks pushed carts from the kitchen, they opened them to reveal multiple types of food and vegtables and an unknown creatur barbecued "Umm, Prime Minister?, What is this?"

"Why, Chickencow of corse!, dont u have that in your land?"(got that from AE's games) "Now, FEAST!, this will probaly be the best food you every had, seriousely, our cooks are treatened death if their food is unsastifactory."

"Well," Harrison admitted, "I don't teach him very much myself. My role is closer to that of an administrator to the school, rather than a teacher of classes of students."

 

Harrison listened to the Prime Minister talking about some powers that Joey seemed to have. So he's even more important still. Who'd have thought. Hang on, does he want us to meet the person who'll teach Joey to control his powers or does he think we're going to do that?

 

The food was brought out from the kitchens and presented to them. There were various sorts of vegetables, and some strange looking beast. The priestess looked at the food, and pulling a small green vegetable from the plate, she slipped it into her mouth whilst no-one was looking.

 

"Interesting meat," Harrison commented, "I've not seen it before, what is it?"

 

Having received an answer, they were given licence to eat. The priestess took this as a signal to start wolfing down her food. Harrison put a hand on her shoulder.

 

"Slow down a bit; you'll end up ill," he told her quietly.

 

"But I haven't had anything to eat in ages, especially not this good."

 

"Even more of a reason to slow down. You're body's not going to be used to easting."

 

"OK," she sighed, stuffing more food into her mouth.

 

Harrison sighed as well, and slowly turned to his own food. The Chickencow wasn't bad, and most of the vegetables had interesting flavours. "I have to say your cooks have done a good job. Please pass on my complements to them."

He looked as if he had just seen a ghost, he slowly turned to face his brother, "V-Vergil, what are you d-doing?!", he said with a terrified tone in his voice.

Vergil just looked at Kicker, "I'm here...to simply end existance, Yubel, The Shadow Riders, they were all weak compared to me"...He then told Chimera to attack again, this time he targeted the school.

 

--Kicker--

Kicker was frosen stiff, Vergil, the brother who joined the shadow riders, just to kill half of new domino city. Then travelled dimensions ending lives of anyone who got in his way to find the harbinger of the end of existance, Chimera.

 

--BOTH--

Just then a flash of light filled the island, people started appearing, Joey, Harrison, everyone who either dissapeared or was missing, just...apeared in random places around the school.

joey was in the gardens agian he was breathing heavely from the running he had done. what happened. he got up and looked around as the spirts of his deck came to him.

"its ok guys im back and the genisis tree wont wilt as long as im here." joey sat back down on the ground as talked with his duel spirts. they all were worryed but he reasured them he was fine.

(DestinyGundam, can I suggest you slow down a bit? You're driving the main plot forward so fast it feels as though there's no room for any character development or side plots.)

 

The priestess suddenly picked up her head. "I see."

 

"What is it?" Harrison asked.

 

"Things back home have changed. Something is calling us back, but I can't tell what."

 

"Do you think that it's calling-"

 

"Yes."

 

Harrison turned back to the Prime Minister.

 

"It seems we will be leaving sooner than we thought, however it's highly probably that your lord won't remain in your enemy's hands. I'm afraid I don't know much more."

 

The priestess' staff glowed, as did a stone around Harrison's neck. Both of them stood up just before a flash filled the room. As it faded the two found themselves in Harrison's office.

 

"Well that was an interesting diversion," Harrison commented, picking up the phone. He made an internal call to the infirmary to find out what state Jaxis was in, and he walked over to the window, curious as to whether the duel outside was still ongoing.
