Standing Up To The Meta

Recommended Posts

Hopeless Dragon+Twilight

Tnhis is absoloute powerhungry pwnage. With it I have performed many OTKs, and also to summon DAD, JD, and REDMD during the near first three turns.

I have seen one turn SD/AM Summons peformed before, so possibly along those lines.

Definetely Necroface Deminisher.

ND is one of the best. It doesn't leave a chance for the opponent to do anything, for it is locked, and at that time they are instantly being milled at about 10/15 per turn. With a good hand, sometimes 20. It revolves around Necroface being removed, and the often helping millage of cards such as Needle Worm. It is aided by Macro Cosmos, and then a Grand Convergence is total wipeout. 2 Necrofaces, full field GC, BANG. Its over.

@DAZ: could you then PM me with that build?

@Oleon4: yeah i know that deck, don't think i'll be able to get the cards for it though, so i'll pass. But it is a really annoying deck xD i've faced it a couple times before :p.

@Qal'at: ke i'll take a look.

So yet again what do you think, can Warrior Gemini or GK or Fortune Lady stand up against the meta?

Those decks can win against the meta just like any other deck but in terms of a consistent basis probably not.

Warrior Gemini's is dependant on how you build the deck but it'll most likely be towards a beat down/stun deck with an E-Hero base rather than relying too much on other Gemini monsters. This works better for them since E-Heroes has a ton of ways to thin the deck and the Neos Alius is a really good card for this. It's a 1900 beat stick that can be tutored with RotA or Emergency Call can be used with Dual Spark or when its dead be miracle fusioned off for Absolute Zero or other E-Hero Nautral fusions.

Fortune Ladies seem rather iffy to me I think they can do well but not on a consistent level due to their dependency on certain cards.

Gravekeeper's have always been good antimeta cards but requires a big focus on control then attack.

my endymion deck can usually survive aganist the meta, but that is in part to my skill and odd play style. it throws them off balance, making them play sub optimal moves to what is actually going on in my deck and hand, and what it looks like to them beforehand.

so it's more likely just me, and not the deck itself.
