[spoiler=Earthbound Immortal-Sarca skulldar]Lv: 10ATT: DarkType: FiendATK: 1000DEF: 500Effect: There can only be one 'Earthbound Immortal' on your side of the field. If there is no face up field spell on the field destroy this card. This card cannot be selected as an attack target. This card can attack your opponent directly. Remove from play cards from the top of your opponent's deck equal to the amount of cards destroyed. This card cannot be destroyed by battle and is unnaffected by your opponent's spells and traps. Oh and Simon is a very high ranking Dark signer. Simon"Jerimiah, stop!" Simon shouted, throwing a Card in the way of the attack. "This isn't like us. We don't destroy duelists like this, so talented, that easily. We give them a bit of entertainment." He grabbed the card he just threw. He showed it to Jerimiah without anyone else seeing it. "Use it." He threatened. He then walked out of the way. KrisKris watched as a guy threw a card in the way of the attack, stopping it. the guy looked somewhat threatening. "You. Aesirson
OoC: You didn't see the post where I stated that the Nazca Line had to be real, I asume? You will have to change it to something other then a skull. Also, your EBI will have to have the normal EBI effect, with a special effect added to it. Valian dismounted the D-Wheel and saw that the Dark Signer's opponent was Dylan. Dylan! He better survive this attack, or else I will never forgive him! He then noticed the interferer, as well as the guy from the docks. Hn? Is he interrupting the Duel? This is a good thing, then Dylan still has a chance to win! Guest Ixigo
OoC: I'll edit my post with an In-Character part once I get an answer. Magnet, please explain on what exactly happened there. Your character tossed a card in the way of an attack by a monster (which, since it is a Dark Duel, should've instantly destroyed the card, by the way), then somehow crossed the flame barrier (that noone except the winner of the Dark Duel can cross, not even the Dark Signer who initiated it) and gave that card to Jeremiah? Your post didn't make much sense, overall.
Magnet Soldier
OOC: Kuroda: Sorry, simple mistake. Ixigo: I didn't cross the barrier I threw the card. It was an earthbound immortal so the TV show would say that it used it's 'Power' to stop it. and he didn't give it to him he showed it, sortta saying 'use yours' I'm logging of now By the way. Guest Ixigo
OoC: >_>. So why would he give Jeremiah an Earthbound Immortal? He already has one. No, more importantly, the Earthbound Immortals are connected to the Dark Signers who use them by means of their marks. They're not something you'd casually give to someone else to use. The only such case seen is when Rudger manipulated Rally into dueling Yusei, but then Rally was under his absolute control, it was like being him. In general, the entire post was very iffy. However, I'll go along with it if it's ok by Kuroda. --- Frowning, Jeremiah watched as a small crowd suddenly assembled. What came as a bigger surprise was Simon's arrival. The fellow thought he was a big shot amongst the Dark Signers - maybe he was. Jeremiah could not care less about the chain of command. He did what he did for his own reasons. "Don't think you can order me around like that!" He yelled at the interloper. "I will duel in any way I want!" However, he did place the card into his Deck, having his Duel Disk automatically shuffle it for him. After a moment's hesitation, he continued. "Last Heaven! Recommence your attack! Destroy Dylan's monster, and wipe out what's left of his Life Points!" However, at that moment, Dylan retaliated. Jeremiah mentally chided himself. He had allowed himself to feel elated at his moves, and stopped paying attention. "I place one card face-down, and end my turn." He growled. "At this moment, Last Heaven loses 500 attack points due to the effect of Exarch Domini." In this situation, I could lock him out if I had a Trap card... however, I do not, so I'm going to have to rely on this face-down Spell card to goad him into unnecessary precautions... then I will seize the advantage next turn, and finish him off. --- The set card is another Peak of Ascent. Aesirson
OoC: I am okay with him throwing a card to you, bt not the earthbound since, as Ixigo said, it's connected to the Dark Signer. The thrown card could be some special Field Spell, however. This is looking bad, if Dylan doesn't have anything that stops that Dark Signer's attack, then there is no hope for his survival! "Dylan! You better not lose to this guy! Remember your pride as a duelist, and the hope of the Crimson Brigade rests on your shoulders!" He held up his right fist as a sign of inspiration, and he felt the pain in it again. However, he didn't mind and the sign forming the Crimson Dragon's head started to glow through his glove. He wasn't surprised though; he somehow felt taht he had known that this would happen. A bit away, Isaac did also feel the surge in his right arm, and the sign of the tail started glowing."Auch! What is this!" He looked at it. "The Mark of the Dragon!? I knew it! I'm a Signer!"
◇ Void ◇
"The Crimson Brigade....." Kana Whispered as he saw the Glow of Vallans mark. He had only have heard of them while Moving around the world at Survial Shelters like in Maddison square Gardens and The Canary Wharf Resistance. "I'v never seen them before, now im standing right next to there...UGH!" He felt a Shock go though his Heart and mind down to his Left arm, Near his Rist. It started to Singe, then Burn. His Irus' Shrinked and he Gripped the Painful fealing on his Rist. "W-Whats going on?!" he screemed in his head. Then, A Purple glow started to emit though his Riders Glove, A Nasza Styed Orb. Time Psyduck
Dylan heard Valian shouting from somewhere nearby about not losing. "Relax," he called, "as if I plan on letting that happen. You're not the only one who can stop attacks, Dark Signer. I activate my trap, Synchro Barrier. By releasing Gishilnodon I can protect myself from all damage until the end of the next turn." Gishilnodon vanished in a flash of light, and a barrier appeared in front of Dylan, causing the attack to stop dead. "Looks like your powering up did nothing." I'm safe for now, but with that Dark Synchro monster back I might not even get a move off next turn, and in his next turn he'll be able to play his field spell and summon an Earthbound Immortal. Dylan watched impassively as his opponent played a face-down, before ending his turn. That's almost certainly a trap card, which means I won't be able to activate Call of the Haunted, and his monsters and spells prevent me from using those. Of course, if that face down isn't a trap, he can't stop mine, but even if I got another one it wouldn't help me here, since I wouldn't be able to use it until my next turn. OK then... "My move then, and I draw." This could be useful, but it'll be countered by him removing those gates. In which case, I have to prevent him doing that, and I think I know how "Let's see now, what to do? Ah yes, I'll summon Deep Sea Diva once again." For the third time that duel, the pink mermaid appeared. "And now for her effect. I'm pretty sure you know what it does, right? I get a level three or lower Sea Serpent from my deck." So will you stop it, or will I have to push on?
Guest Lily
"Wait... Great, they left me by myself. Ugh, I hate being alone... Well, gonna have to find a way to get to everyone else!" Isabelle snapped to herself, as she started to walk at a slightly hurried pace towards the site of the geoglyph. She had a weird feeling... Her skin kept tingling, and she couldn't help but to move her eyes from side to side. She felt weird. She felt as if someone was watching her as she walked. She didn't like the feeling. At all. Sander
Xander noticed Isabelle. She seemed to be troubled, and he decided to see why she was troubled. Xander slowly drifted forwards to Isabelle on his D-Wheel. "Hey kid, what's with the troubled look? You need a ride or something?" he asked as he stopped and took off his helmet. "Hm, you look familiar, have we met before?" Xander asked in confusion.
Guest Ixigo
Jeremiah narrowed his eyes. He was facing a dilemma. To negate Deep Sea Diva's effect, he would have to release a monster. Thanks to Desolate Void's other ability, he could have brought back a monster to use as a tribute last turn. However, the arrival of the others had caused his concentration falter, just as he had fallen prey to his overconfidence earlier and over-committed to the field. If he released Desolate Void itself, Dylan would be free to activate any Spell or Trap cards he desired. If he released Last Heaven, and Dylan had a way to Special Summon a monster using only its own effect from his hand or Graveyard, he would lose his last defense. And there was also the fact that he did not, actually, have a Trap card to negate Dylan's own, so if the boy decided to take the risk and use one, pushed into a desperate situation, there would be nothing Jeremiah could do. No - Desolate Void was safe for now, thanks to its ability to both avoid removal by effects and not be targeted by attacks. Depending on the Synchro monster Dylan summoned - Jeremiah would have the opportunity to gauge the situation again, and act accordingly. "Go on, if you believe it will benefit you." He said calmly. He had to maintain his focus.
Time Psyduck
"You'll regret that," Dylan replied, "I use Deep Sea Diva's effect to summon out Polymer Float Snake." A strange snake creature emerged onto the field. It seemed to be composed of a series of red nautical floats, connected by ropes. "And it's effect allows me to summon another on directly from my deck to my field." Another identical snake emerged alongside the first. ((Unless you respond here)) "And now watch as I do a little tuning. I tune my Level 2 Deep Sea Diva with both of my level 2 Polymer Float Snakes in order to Synchro Summon Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier." A large white dragon emerged, with a body which seemed to be formed of ice. "And now it's effect. By discarding a card from my hand, I can send your angel back to your hand." Whatever you do next, I've got you where I want you. I just hope the part after that works, because if it doesn't, It'll all be for nothing. Guest Ixigo
"I won't allow that! By releasing Desolate Void, Brionac's effect is not only negated, but it is destroyed as well!" Jeremiah called, both monsters sucked into the dark mirror, which imploded unto itself. This had been close - if that effect had been allowed to go through... at any rate, the Dark Signer seemed to have the upper hand now. "Further activation of monster effects is also barred during this turn!"
Magnet Soldier
ooc; As I already said, didn't give you the card. Just saying and if anyone has any problems I'll delete that post OK. Oh and I'll make my character's duel now. Okay, I'm bored now. Time to accept your challenge Signer." Simon said to Kris, pointing at the mark on Kris's arm. Kris clutched his arm as what looked like a red claw appeared on his arm. "I'm a signer?" He asked himself before standing up. "Well, time to duel then." He said as he got on his duel runner. They set off and yet another Geoglyph appeared in the sky, that of a dog like animal. "I'll start off." Simon started. "By drawing a card. I gain a speed counter and add the card to my hand. Then I'll play a monster called Speed drone." A black robot like monster appeared on the field. "And the I'll lay a card face down. Now I activate my Speed drone's effect. When It is normal summoned I can discard my hand to summon a monster from my deck with Zero attack. And I'll choose the dark tuner monster Devil drone." A black spider appeared on the field. "Now I dark tune them together to summon a level minus nine monster called Control Drone-Shadow Core! Rise from the eternal abyss and destroy there minds! Control drone-Shadow Core!" A giant orb started floating around Simon's duel runner. Time Psyduck
I've got rid of his lock again, but unless I get the cards I need I won't be able to take advantage of it "And now, because you destroyed Brionac I can activate the effect of my Ranger of the Deep in my Graveyard, but first I activate the spell card Whirlpool Dragshoot. Now normally this lets me draw one card, but because a water attribute synchro monster was just destroyed I get to draw a card for each monster I used to synchro summon it." Dylan pulled three cards from the top of his deck and took a glance at them. "And before we go any further Ranger of the Deep comes up to my field." A reptilian figure, dark green with a cloak and a spear emerged on Dylan's field. This better work Dylan mused, looking at the cards. "All right, here we go. I'll start with my face-down Call of the Haunted, allowing me to bring Brionac right back to my field, but he won't be staying long. I next activate my De-Synchro spell card, so I can send Brionac back to my deck and summon the monster I used to synchro summon it, so say hello again to Deep Sea Diva and the Polymer Float Snakes. Next I'll tribute one of my Float Snakes in order to special summon Tide Garndna from my hand in defense mode." One of the serpents vanished, and a man in an aquatic-themed suit of armour and carrying a shield replaced it. Dylan glanced at his last card. "And now, I activate this! My spell card Wellspring Burst of Fate. I can only activate this card when my lifepoints are lower than yours, and it costs me my entire hand - although since it's empty right now, I don't lose a lot - but if one of my monsters was removed from play by one of your monster's effects, I get to summon it right back to my field. So come back, Abyss Dragon!" As the huge, dark dragon once again emerged, the mark on Dylan's arm glowed again. This time, for some reason, it didn't seem to cause so much pain. I suddenly feel - connected - to something. "And if you thought I was done, then you were very much mistaken. The other effect of my spell allows me to send two Spell or Traps on my field to my grave, and then I can add that many spells from there to my hand. So I send my face-down (Tornado Wall) and my now-useless Call of the Haunted to recover Salvage and Moray of Greed. And now I'll use both of them, so first I add Polymer Float Snake and Mermaid Archer to my hand, and then they go into my deck to give me three new cards." He placed his hand on his deck. Well, it all comes down to this. One of these cards has to be the one I need, otherwise I don't think I'll be able to do anything. "Here we go!" There! "I'll place one card face-down and end my turn, which means I have to send one card to my graveyard for the effect of Whirlpool Jetsom, so I'll send Chain Kraken, however it's effect lets me draw a card to replace it." Don't think I'm giving up, dark signer. The moment you draw, your monster is going to fall. Sander
As Xander was getting up to help Isabelle stand up, he noticed something near his foot. The card that flipped over. When he saw the card, he felt like his heart stopped beating. Slowly, but surely, he picked up the card to see if the card was really the card that he thought it was. As troubling it was, the card was Total Eclipse Dragon. The card that was stolen from him 5 years ago before the fight between the 3 Signers and Godwin. "So it was you.." said Xander as he picked up Isabelle by her neck. "So, jabroni, tell my, why did you steal my Total Eclipse Dragon?" Xander asked furiously. Guest Lily
Isabelle started to cough and splutter as her airways were cut off. "W-what... the hell... are you talking about..?" Isabelle asked, as she continued to try and break free of Xander's firm grip around her neck. It continued to no avail, but she continued to try, determined to continue her life. She pulled against his hand, and at one point managed to get a little bit of breath out of her mouth, but only a small bit.
Sander
"I see that brute force won't help here." said Xander as he let go of his grip over Isabella's neck. "Now I know why you seemed so familiar to me before. You were the one who was stealing cards from the Professionals at the Tournament before the blast happened." Xander then sat back down onto his D-Wheel, planning on leaving Isabelle there. "Oh, and by the way, I'm taking Total Eclipse Dragon back." Guest Lily
"W-wait... Y-you can't just leave me here!" As Isabelle pushed herself up, she ran towards the D-Wheel and tried to force her way onto it and get back Total Eclipse Dragon in the process. But I'm not going wager Total Eclipse Dragon. If I win, I'll leave you here. If you win, I'll give you the ride to the Geoglyph. Understood?" he asked as he activated his Duel Disk.
