Raydoz look at ready-to-duel boy with his cold eyes and answered "Newcomer yes, Dark Signer no" After answering, he sit down and stared at the wave. He told the boy again, "Name...Raydoz...you ?"

 

OOC: Hmmm, sorry it's kinda short. I'm still not a Dark Signer....yet, mwahaha~

"DARK SIGNER PUNKS! I WILL DEFEAT YOU WITH MY FISTS OF UNDEAD GLORY!"

Never mind. But what he was doing was rushing over to the pier, as he saw a good friend of his, Valian. What Valian didn't see was the Dark Signer right behind him. Before anything could transpire, Isaac was up the pier, and had grabbed the Dark Signer.

"Oh. You don't look like a Dark Signer, but people can't be enough careful these days..." Valian turned to look at the waves again. "So tell me, how did you survive all these years. I take it you were alone; because you're not a member of the Crimson Brigade, are you?"

He then got interupted by Isaac who appeared, yelling about Dark Signers.

"Oh, Isaac! I don't think he's..." But apparently it was too late.

OOC: No I dont think there is. I made it up. Does it have to be real?

 

IC: Kris yawned as he sat there on the hill no dark signer dared to go. This hill was strange as everyone seemed to be scared of it. Kris wasn't, he just sat there, looking in at the small garden. He never understood why the flowers grew without sunlight. He yawned. It was late and he was getting tired. He stood up in the small field and left, a sad look spread over his face. "Time for buisness." Was all he said as he grabbed his duel runner. He ignited the engine, jumped on and sped off.

Isaac looked down. He saw that indeed, this person wasn't a Dark Signer, but there was something odd about him...

"I apologize for my rudeness! With all the problems the Crimson Brigade has, I assumed you to be an enemy!"

He looked at the boy's Duel Disk.

"It appears you are a Duelist! I shall make up this grievance with a Duel! Do you accept?!"

OOC: Yes, almost every sentence will end with exclamation points. Hams are FUN to write.

OOC: Personally, I play whatever makes the game interesting for the story. Not sure how much of godmodding that is, but you can also use your regular deck IRL, and actually randomize. The only changed rule from the regular game is 4000 Life Points.

 

"There are no special rules but one! You must always put your power in your cards, and succeed!"

Isaac activated his Disk and drew his cards. He grinned. This is what it's all about. Dueling with a complete stranger.

IC: Kris sighed as the wind rushed past his face. His cloak made alot of the people on the street mistake him for a Dark signer. Good, I wont be ratted out. He turned round a corner and headed for the base. A message came up on his duel runner scanner. It said: Boss. We have detected duel energy near the docks. Probably the dark signer and one of those damn Brigade interfering. Kris replied: Thanks, but dont call them damned. If it wasn't for there distraction we wouldn't have gotton hold of that information on Nasca lines. He sighed and turned around, heading for the docks. He stopped down an alley and walked he rest of the way. He texted to the guy whoed tipped him off: Not D S. Brigade and someone else. He sighed and walked up the pier towards the duel. He sat on a bench and watched.

When the duel was about to start, the cold eyes turn into determined eyes.

 

"DUEL!!!!"

 

Raydoz draw 5 cards as the LP is raising and beeping.

 

"Challenger go first..." said Raydoz as he looked at the young man, then he add "...but before that tell me your name....Raydoz's mine..."

OoC: The only rule is that you shouldn't use cards like Solemn Judgment and such. Other then that you should use interesting cards. And yes, made-up cards are allowed.

 

Valian smiled at Isaac's haminess. He was very happy that he had a friend like Isaac in these hard times when every smile was as priced as diamonds.

"It will be fun to see how you've develpoed your strategy, Isaac!" Valian said and kept smiling. "And you, Raydoz, was it? It will be fun to see your strategies too."

 

OoC: Cakeman, tell him via PM who will win, it will be more exciting for us spectators that way :D Magnet, he apparently isn't a Dark Signer yet.

"I'll start with a simple move! I'll set a monster in Defense Mode and 2 cards face down! I'll end my turn at that!"

IC: Simon sighed while walking the streets. He had seen a Duel runner rush by earlier but couldn't be bothered to check it out. He sighed again as a bulky lad ran up to him with a duel disk on. "I challenge y..." Simon activated his duel disk and drew five cards. "Duel." He said. Five minutes later the boy was on the floor traumatised and Simon was walking off to god knows where. He sighed again and shook his head as he looked back at two boys helping up the bulky lad. "Weakling." He said, simply.

Personality: Jeremiah does not talk much, both his life and death riddled with tragedy. He does not have a wish or desire, and is merely motivated by a compulsive hatred for the world at large. However, he is capable of feeling pity (and otherwise human emotions), and will usually be noble and merciful towards his enemies, despite his ultimate disposition.

Biography: A widower, Jeremiah lived his days alone in his house. As he was relatively rich, he could afford a variety of comforts, but he was wallowing in despair due to his wife's untimely death. One night, he was ambushed by a gang of street thugs. He fought back, things got escalated, and he was found the next day with shards of a shattered glass bottle stuck in his head. However, just a few hours later, his corpse mysteriously vanished from the morgue. Resurrected by the Dark Signers, who took advantage of his despair, brainwashing him and feeding an irrational hatred for the world at large, he now fights for their cause.

"Hm! There isn't enough attacking going on here! I'll make it so! It's my turn! I'll Tribute my Goblin Zombie to Summon Great Dezard! With Goblin Zombie's effect, I'll add Dezard's Underling to my hand, and by using its effect, Special Summoning it! Now, Great Dezard, attack both Sacrifice Tokens! I say both, since the tokens allow him to attack a second time if it destroys them!

OoC: Hakuro, you can be a normal human too, just remove the Mark of the Dragon/Nazca Line part and replace the Signer Dragon/EBI part with Ace Card. Yes, made-up cards is accepted.

 

Ixigo is accepted except that the Hummingbird is already taken.

"A classic opening move, Isaac. At this point I can't really tell who is winning, but I'm sure this Duel is going to be exciting!" Valian still smiled and looked as both duelists activated and set their cards.

Huh? How lucky that we still can have fun among eachothers while the Dark Signers is running the inner city...

Kris sighed as the other guy who wasn't dueling gave his friend some praise. He doesn't seem like the guy to do that. And this duel looks boring. And they haven't noticed me, this worldn is going mad. Kris thought while he yawned. He pulled his deck out of a pocket and started fingering through the cards. The duel didn't interest him so he just tryed to think of more strategys.

Observing the empty expanses from a nearby hilltop, sat atop his black Duel Runner, Jeremiah Gray's dead eyes hardly moved.

 

"It has begun." He whispered, the words barely audible over the sound of the wind. He closed his eyes briefly, then started up the engine of his Duel Runner, speeding towards the city, seeking, hunting for the ones that must be destroyed. The Signers.

OoC: The Signers is yet to be revealed, but their powers will activate when they face a strong Dark Signer.

 

Valian suddenly noticed Kris watching the duel.

Hm... I think I've seen that guy before,but I don't think he's a Dark Signer. In that case he would already have interupted the duel.

"Hey! You there!" Valian shouted and walked closer to Kris. "I've seen you some times, but I don't think you're a part of the Brigade, neither the Dark Signers. So, who are you?"

Finally, one of them's noticed me. He looked up at the only one that looked sane. "Noone. I am noone. No need to attack me or befriend me. I'm just a passer by that saw your duel. If you want I'll duel you while your friends are dueling but I warn you I rarely lose." He looked at the other two. Those idiots wont even notice. Strange, they seem to be powerful though.

Personality: Ryoushi is a relatively upbeat, outspoken kind of guy. He enjoys the seas about as much as he enjoys a good duel. He's quite friendly with most anyone, but even then, it's always certain, oddly specific kinds of people that just tend to rub him the wrong way. Regardless, he doesn't really care too much about this whole war between Signers and Dark Signers. As long as he himself is still able to do what he loves to do, that's all that matters.

Biography: Ryoushi was born to a pair of double-dueling anglers. As Ryoushi grew up, his parents taught him the ways of the fisherman and of the duelist. As time went on, he became well versed in the arts of both. Six years ago, his parents decided to head further northeast to Alaska in order to catch the big game. However, they left their son in charge of the dealings and operations at the docks. Since then, he's been doing his absolute best to make sure that he takes care of his family's old fishing boat as well as the business they had set up. As such, his business hasn't taken much of a hit at all from the recent war from the Signers and Dark Signers. As a capable duelist himself, he's easily able to settle disputes among the lesser members that try to overrun his family's business.

"Meh, I'm not like Isaac. Sure I like to duel, but there is more urgent things to do in these times, and if something would happen while we were dueling... Well, it's my pride not to leave a duel unfinnished!" Valian showed his fist, but not in a threatening neither a victory post. It was more a sign to show his pride as a duelist.

Dylan emerged from the deserted building, his heavy boots crashing over the rubble on what had once been the main street of one of the less central parts of the city. It was deserted now, being too far away from the centre of the city to be populated by anyone other than the odd shadow drone that wondered around on what was probably some sort of patrol, although whether the dark signers would need that patrol was debatable.

 

An unusual sound reached his ears. Yes, that was a duel runner approaching, but who would be out here. Dylan flattened against a wall and peered round the corner, careful to minimize how much of himself would be visible to the oncoming rider.
