EliminateHRN
...But I think it's time to discuss a good country band. The Zac Brown Band. Unlike some modern country artists, they don't have a pop sound to them. I'm not expecting this to get alot of views/replies, but whatever. Here's my favorite song by them, Highway 20 Ride: Discuss this awesome country band.

I like Toby Keith. My grandma always plays him, and alot of my family likes him. Also, the song I posted is about a divorced father from what I understand. Azmodius
I hate all country. Sorry, I don't hate you or anything, but I hate the music. The only genre's I enjoy are really Classical, Electronica, Metal (all kinds), Jazz and Punk.

As long as you talk about Chevy' date=' Girls in short denium, and Bud light. you got a country song.[/quote'] So not true. Those are just the crappy country songs, like how the bad rappers talk about women and that other crap. Some songs (like the one I posted) actually has a real message behind it. I'm guessing I'm the only one on the site that thinks country is better than most metal (not saying every type of metal, just some of it). Of course, everyone has opinions so I respect that. The Dark One
Chicken Fried is an excellent song, but I don' know much else by Zac Brown. I like Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith, and the Dixie Chicks the best from the genre, but of course the pop symbols like Rascal Flatts and Sugarland are quite good too. It is a a excellent song. I like and listen to everyone on that list, even the Dixie Chicks. I think my favorite country singer is either Johnny Cash or George Strait, because I was raised listening to their music.

Not everything needs a message behind it. Sometimes music is just for the sake of enjoying it and there doesn't have to be meaning. Some rappers are just lyrical while other focus on a message. Both are good in their own way.

EliminateHRN
I'm a big fan of Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash. This stuff is okay though. My parents love both artists. I like Johnny Cash, but never heard anything really from Willie. Except for stuff my parents play.
Tabris
Zac Brown Band? They're fine to these ears, but I prefer listening to Lucinda Williams more.
Pegasasu
Really, I hate metal (don't take this personally), and I think country music is pretty good. But I HATE the Zac Brown Band.
