Whilst Dawn was trying to block the memories, Jaden had taken them full force, and was trying to figure out who they were descended from. As they sat on the bench, his mind was racing. 'Who could be my ancestor? Let's see...' He listed each olympian in his head and their powers. 'Zeus...? No, Artimes...? She's a virgin, so no... And so on until he narrowed it down to three; Hephaestus, Athena, and Apollo.

Dawn looked at Jaden, who was clearly in thought. She wasn't planning on thinking about this stuff anymore; as it would just lead to more confusion.

Dawn's face went a bit blank as she noticed something. Without any warning, she threw a raging, and rather comical punch towards Jaden's face

"Hey, listen, don't you ever touch me again...Ever..." she grunted as she watched Jaden fall to the ground from the force of her punch.

he looked up slowly, and simply asked. "That....darkness...did you see it too?" his breathing was weak and he really seemed to be in pain. "He....he said he wanted to kill me......" he tried standing up, but his strength failed him and he fell on his knee. "Did....did he say the same to you.....are you....why do you have the same expression....as.....me....are you?

"Uh, yeah, I saw it too," Peyton said, growing to be even more freaked out than she already was. "Do you know who Nexus is? What does he look like?"

Peyton was wanting this to all be a bad dream, but she knew it wasn't, and that's what she had grown to hate, being able to know whats fake and whats not.

He stood up finally, leaning on the wall at least. "I wish I knew....I was gonna ask you the same thing....but it seems neither of us know...." he tries walking away, but is having trouble "but if more than one of us saw this....it may be real.....I really don't want to believe it, but it looks like there really is something out to get us.....all because...we're descendants....how is that fair?"

 

Deep in his mind he smiled as his outward face shed one tear and wiped the blood off his face. "I found you already.....know then.....she may know others and not realize it....so I cannot do anything yet." he thought

"It isn't..." Peyton said.

So I'm not going insane... Someone is actually out to kill me... Not any better

"Are you going to be okay on your own?" Peyton asked him. "I sort of have to be somewhere."

Peyton didn't even want to be outside right now, but she knew that she couldn't just leave Alec waiting.

"AUGH!" Jaden yelled as his best friend sucker punched him in the face, literally flipping him over the back and onto his face. It would have broken his nose, along with some of his face, but Train Heartnet had nothing on him when it came to drinking milk. "What the hell?!" he exclaimed, clutching his now bleeding nose. "I never touched y-" And then he remembered him holding her up to keep her from falling again. "You mean that?! You're the one that held on to me!"

[align=center] Zechs, a normal high school student, walked to his last class, Calculus. He wondered why he even cam to school today. He did not really want to learn, although he is a straight A-student. Why... why did i even come in the first place again? Zechs thought to himself as he stared out the window. As the bell rang, Zechs went to his locker, put all his stuff in his sports bag, and went to the gym for basketball practice.

 

On the cheerleading team, the captain and her team was working on a few cheers when she got a good look at Zechs. She blushed and turned the other way as Zechs went to the locker room. Zechs then took of his clothes and put on a underarmor tight sports shirt, basketball shorts, kneepads and ankle braces. He put some new Hypermaxs as well. Zechs was the star and starting point guard of the junior varsity and varisty in Great Commission High and nothing was going to stop him.[/align]

Dawn sped up to Jaden and grabbed him by his collar

"But..." she said, starting off softly "You should have known that at that very moment, that if you touched me, you would have gotten punished for it later!!!"

She shouted this time, and then started shaking him back and forth

"Do you not know me at all?!!" she shouted again.

((Basketball game at Great Commission High. Shadow Creek #2 vs. Great Commission #1. Commission gym pronto!))

 

[align=center]As basketball practice was over, Zechs then went to the locker room and put on his basketball jersey as the coach was lecturing as usual. "Alright boys listen up." He said as everybody listened carefully. "You all know the routine, teamwork, defense, and strategy. We are facing Shadow Creek High, ranked #2 in the state and most importantly... our rivals. WE ARE NOT GOING TO LOSE THIS GAME! DO YOU HEAR ME?" The coach yelled at the top of his voice.

 

"Sir yes sir!" The whole team said in unison. "Ok men. Zechs point guard, Anthony, shooting guard, Robinson, small foward, Rose, power foward, Branch, center. Now go out there and make me proud." The whole team got into a huddle as they said the Our Father prayer. The team they broke the huddle and yelled in excitement as the #1 basketball team in state, with their point guard #2 in state, Zechs, ran to the floor as there theme song played.[/align]

Dawn sighed as she turned to her wrist watch. She calmly let go of Jaden's collar and then backed away a few feet. After some time, she started to run

"I have somewhere to be...So I'll catch you later..." she shouted as she slowly faded from Jaden's sight.

Dawn then looked down at her watch again

I'm gonna be late...

As she ran, she remembered what had happened. It sent chills up her spine, but again, she tried to get rid of the thought. Before long, she had reached her destination; The Basketball Game at Great Commission High. She rushed inside the gym and started to watch the game

"Just made it..." she sighed in relief.

 

((Zech should have also heard the mage's voice, so he should now know that he's a decendant, just letting you know ^^))

Talia fell off of the chair she was sitting on, and when she landed, she looked around frantically, a result of hearing the ominous voice. "Did anyone else hear that? Or am I finally going insane?" Talia muttered to herself, holding her head in her hands. She finally stood up, and sat back down where she had been sitting before. Hopefully, the voice had just been her imagination, her mind was just playing tricks on her. But somehow she knew, that the voice hadn't been fake, or her imagination toying with her sanity.

 

~So we don't know we're descendants quite yet, do we?

IC: [align=center]Zechs then looked up at the stand to see his fans but then spotted a beautiful girl, Dawn. Wow... she's more beautiful then white doves flying through the sky. Zechs thought to himself as he sat down on the chairs as the announcer introduced every player from Shadow Creek High. NOW THEN LET'S MEET THE GREAT COMISSIONNNNNNNERRRR CRIMSONS! The announcer shouted on the microphone as the Crimson fans stood shouting in the air.

 

The announcer then called each player's name, height and position onto the court. STANDING AT A MERE 6'9'' THE REBOUNDING SENSATION, THE KING OF BLOCKING SHOTS, AND A BEAST AT THE POST, RANDDDYYYYY BRANCH! Randy then ran to the court and did a handshake with his teammate at the end signed his number to the authorities. STANDING AT 6'8'' THE DUNK FACTOR, THE REBOUND SNATCHER, THE TIP DUNK MONSTER, STEPHENNNN ROSE! Stephen then ran to the to court, slapping every player's hand and did a secret handshake with the last teammate.

 

STANDING AT 6'7'' THE MIDDLE MAN, THE SHOOTING MARKER, THE "LIGHTS OUT" GO TO MAN, ZEEEEEKKE ROBINSON! Zeke then did the same and did a quick hug with the last teammate and signed in his name and number. STANDING AT 6'6'' THE 3-POINT HIGHLIGHTER, THE LONG RANGE PHENOM, THE QUICK FEET JUMPER, SHOOTING GUARD, DERRICK ANTHONYYYYYY! Derrick then shook hands with everyone calmly until he got to the last teammate and did a wild, crazy handshake. He signed in his name and number.

 

AND NOW LADIES AND GENTLEMEN I GIVE YOU... The Crimson fans started to stomp their feet on the bleachers as "On To The Next One" by Jay-Z started to play louder and louder. STANDING AT 6'3'' THE FLOOR GENERAL, THE #2 POINT GUARD IN THE STATE, THE STAR CAPTAIN AND ASSIST LEADER, THE PROVIDER, THE QUICK PASSER, THE FAST RUNNER, ZEEEEEEECHS MISHIMA! The crowd roared in excitement as Zechs shook the coach's hand calmly as he scrolled the team and got to the last teammate and did a fast handshake. Zechs then signed his name and number to the authorities.[/align]

Peyton was growing very impatient as she waited for an answer, she didn't want to keep Alec waiting for her but she didn't want to just leave not knowing if he'd be okay or not.

I really hope Alec doesn't leave by the time I get there... she thought.

He began walking away. "i'm okay...just go, I just needed to know I'm not alone....." he keeps walking, even as the ambulance arrive. "What I would do is find out......who am I related to." with that he dashes into an alley as the Police also arrive, apparently he must not be very friendly with them, but he left his School ID unfortunately "Shadow Creek High student: Nel Santos"

Dawn watched the game and couldn't help but smile a bit. She watched with a bit of amazement; Dawn was happy while watching. It allowed her to escape from what had happened a few minutes ago. When the game was over she casually and calmly walked over to Zech and chuckled a bit.

"You're really getting good at this, aren't you?" she said as she walked up behind him.

Zechs looked behind and saw Dawn, the love of his life. "You can say that i am. A little more practice and determination and i'm a sure in for the All-Star League." Zechs said as he picked up his girlfriend and kissed her lips. "What are you about to do this weekend?" Zechs said as he put Dawn down.

Peyton watched as he walked away and then hurried to the park, when she arrived she saw Alec sitting on the bench and speed-walked towards him.

"Sorry it took me so long," Peyton said. "I sort of got held up..."

She sat down next to Alec and put her bag down on the ground.

He had made it in time to watch the game, he found it interesting, he could feel the remnants of his spell lingering in the people around, meaning some of the people here should be Descendants, as the game ended he watched two people embrace, and for a second he thought "how nice", as he walked away from the court he felt a pang in his heart, "damn....seems I'm closer to the descendants than I thought....maybe...." He looks back but just ignores the thought

Alec turned his head towards Peyton and let out a small yawn

"Well, it sure took you long enough..." he yawned. He then started shuffling his feet, wondering if he should tell Peyton about what happened.

"Well...Um...Has anything weird happened to you today..?" he asked.

 

~Dawn~

Dawn backed away from Zech and smiled. She then stepped on his foot without any hesitation.

"Your not even gonna ask how my day was?! How rude!" she laughed. She then gave him a big embrace, indicating that she was just kidding.

"And, no I'm not doing anything this weekend..." she said "...Everything's been really boring..."

At her last sentence, she bit her lip, remembering what had happened.

OoC: You really miss a lot in a few hours...Excuse me as I catch up.

 

IC: Pha'ubo had almost reached the source of the spell when he heard more demonic voices. This spellcaster would have to be incredibly powerful to be able to kill the gods in such a way. He would be a valuable ally...Now only if he could find him. The streets returned to normal shortly after the voices, leaving Pha'ubo where he started, but only now on a rooftop. He jumped down and walked down the street, drawing more stares from locals.

 

After what felt like hours, his search still yielded no results. He should have brought a divining rod for such a search, but now he was stuck here until he could find them. He saw spotlights lighting up the sky a distance away. Pha'ubo decided that he had nothing better to do, so he walked towards it. It turned out to be a high school having a basketball game. Crowds of townsfolk streamed into the school gymnasium to watch the biggest event in the town. Since everyone in town was gathering there, he decided to see if he could find anyone out of place in the crowd. He walked in with the crowd and took a seat higher up on the stands.

 

Almost as soon as he sat down, the game ended. Just his luck of course. He walked out with the crowd, attempting not to stick out despite his very strange appearance. He walked outside to see people discussing the game. Normal enough. He walked over to a bench and looked through the crowd, looking for anything out of the ordinary. Of course, he would not see anything, but he should attempt to work: it was his only way out of the town...

 

OoC: My character has a massive gold mask shaped like double headed eagle and bright red robes. It'd be nice if someone would at least acknowledge my character's existence.

"Uh yeah..." Peyton said, feeling awkward. "Has anything strange happened to you?"

Did he hear it too?

"Have you heard anything or saw anything?" Peyton asked.

Talia had decided to walk around the small town before going back to the orphnage. Maybe somebody else would have heard the voice, and she would have proof that she wasn't insane. Truthfully, Talia didn't think tht was possible, but she still strolled around the town, looking around. There was really no point to her small walk, so she just gazed ahead at nothing, and continued on. She moved her blonde hair out of her face, so she could see. Well, she really wasn't looking at anything, but still.

Zechs then heard a familiar sound only he can hear. "What's that sound?" "Zechs is your name... am i correct?" The strange unfamiliar voice ran through Zechs head. The whole room then swirled into darkness as everybody except the descendants were shown. "Who are you?" Zechs looked around but saw nobody. Then a light mage appeared infront of Zechs as Zechs jumped. "W...Who are you?" Zechs as the mage silenced him. "I am hear to tell you that you Zechs... is a descendant of the God of Fire, Hephaestus." Zechs could not believe his ears. The mage then gave Zechs a katana as it disappeared into Zechs' sports bag as the mage disappeared as well. Zechs then clenched his fist from the pain of his girlfriend's stomp. "I'm sorry ok? How was your day? And you wanna go out this weekend?" Zechs said still remembering what had just happened to him.

Alec was a bit confused. Is it...Possible...?

He placed his hand on Peyton's shoulder; Knowing that what he was about to say was extremely hard to believe.

"Well...Ya see...A few minutes ago...Everything around me went black...And I heard this extremely creepy voice..." he then noticed what he was saying and stopped himself "Go ahead, call me crazy...Call me insane...Go ahead and insult me as much as you want..."

 

~Dawn~

Dawn smiled again and then clinged onto Zech's arm. She then bit her lip

"Uhm...Everything was fine...I guess..." she lied. Dawn then shook her head a bit and tried hard to forget about the strange---whatever it was, that had happened

"And, sure, I'll go out...Have nothing better to do..." she laughed amusingly.
