[Lord JZ of the Enigma]

"So it would seem that those two are acquainted with her, that makes things a little easier for me, and after I learn what they can do I will give them their first..."test" I wonder how they do." as he walked towards the exit he looked back once more, particularly at Peyton and Alec "They both might lend me some entertainment, unlike the other boy they seem quite reserved to themselves...I may even have to open up a bit..." he stated with a sneer.

Blake gave a cheery wave to the leaving boy. And then, put his hand down. With a sigh he finally said what he had wanted since he first saw Nel.

"That boy just seems down right wierd." He stuttered, quickly realising that Peyton was his friend, "Sorry. Didn't mean anything by it. He just doesn't feel right to me. Probably just my imagination right?"

He didn't wait for an answer, Blake just stretched his arms and yawned.

"Anywho. What are you two actually doing here? Nel there said that he was looking for Chaos, were you two trying to find out about greek mythology aswell?" It was a general and simple question, but Dionysus' words echoed in his head. The next generation of gods... There are many.

"This may sound wierd, but did either of you two have a wierd experience recently. You know with someone saying they're a greek god?"

Alec watched as Nel left. His eyes still scanned him. Alec turned to Blake, his bright amber eyes wide open.

"Actually...That guy...I don't know about him...He's...Strange..." he muttered to himself. Alec didn't apologize to Peyton, because he knew her well, and she would usually have strange friends anyway. Alec also knew that Peyton wasn't the type to get easily offended. As he thought about it, he heard Blake say something about Greek Gods.

"What?!" he said, almost yelling, but making sure to keep it down because of their location. Alec glanced around and then sighed

"Let's discuss this somewhere else..." he said to the others, motioning to the door.

"Okay. But why?" Blake made his way to the exit and after going through, held it open for the others. "I mean its not that big a deal... is it?" Blake couldn't understand what the problem was. He unconciously tightened his grip on the wrapped up staff in his hand, it was starting to become a nervous habit and he had only had the thing for less than a day.

"This seems important. What happened?"

Jared walked around, kicking the rocks in his path. The sense of foreboding the shadowy clouds brought did not comfort him one bit, because he was used to the sun, being so near the coast. The clouds made Jared worry that something was wrong.

 

He bumped into another person his age on the street, who looked as worried as Jared thought he must look. "Excuse me, that's my fault," the boy said, sidestepping Jared, "My name is Matt."

 

"Jared," Jared responded looking up, "These clouds give you the creeps too?"

 

"Yeah, especially since they've been following me since I came down here," Matt said, brushing his wavy black hair out of his eyes. "I was just going to go check something out at the museum. Greek exhibit. Want to come?"

So...how do I gain their trust.....hmm, well I'll just have to send one of my pets out to hunt them down...but first..." he senses his own magic once again, it is coming from the direction of the Museum. "Perfect, it would seem more of the chosen few are finding themselves...this makes things so much easier....let's say hello then...." he reaches in his pocket and pricks his thumb with a tack embedded in the inside of the garment, afterward he begins drawing a symbol on the back of his palm. "when the time is ready, arise..."

Alec glanced around at Blake and Peyton when they had gotten outside

"Alright..So what's this about greek gods...?" he asked Blake. As Alec asked this, he ran his fingers through his hair, trying to relieve himself of the stress. He was deep in thought right now

I wonder...If this stuff is really real...If so, then we should go look for the other 'demi-gods'....

As he thought this he looked at Blake and wondered if he had the same experience.

"Look I know that I am going to sound like a loonatic," Blake whispered, "But I had a wierd experience, a voice spoke in my head. A male voice and I seemed to black out." He realised that he was tapping his staff and made an effort to stop. Remembering everything that had happened he closed his eyes and sighed.

"The strangest thing was that the next day this thing," Blake made a gesture towards the metal pole in his hand, "appeared in my garden. I thought it was some idiot littering with useless objects... but it reappeared further down my road. I was about to kick it away when this man, he said he was Dionysus a greek god, said that it was his and that he had given it to me." Looking around he noticed a seat and took it, stroking his hand through his hair.

"I didn't believe him at first, but he was able to do something. I don't know what, but it was amazing. When he held this staff in his hand, it turned into a golden rod. A thrysus, or at least a modern interpretation of one." He unwrapped it and showed it to Peyton and Alec, twisting it carefully.

"But now it just looks like a normal metal pole. The guy, Dionysus, said that I was a descendant of his. Like a great-great-great-grandson or something. He also said that there were loads more. And that it disturbed him, because there are so many." Blake swallowed and patted the seat before he smiled and wrapped the staff back up. He stood and gave a chuckle.

"Told you I'd sound like a lunatic."

After a long hard day of training and 9 hours of sleep, Zechs woke up and find out that his cellphone had 4 miss calls from Dawn and 3 text messages, 2 coming from Dawn herself. Zechs got up from his bed and did his daily routine. Zechs grabbed his backpack and wrapped his sword on his back. Zechs grabbed his cell phone and dialed Dawn's number. He pressed the call button. He got in his car and put on his headset and waited for her to answer. "I hope she answers." Zechs said as he waited for her to answer and drove off to school.

Alec stared at Blake with wide eyes and then glanced over to Peyton. He started pacing back and forth and he ran his fingers through his hair as he did this. He stopped suddenly and then continued pacing again. This time, he started muttering to himself

"So...It's true then...There's more of us..."

He stopped and looked towards Blake

"The exact same thing happened to Peyton and I...So that means that this greek god thing is actually true..."

 

 

~Dawn~

Dawn was laying down on her black-leather couch when she heard her phone ring. She slipped her phone out of her pocket and then brought it up to her ear without checking the caller id.

"Hello...?" she said, sounding dull and bored.

"So they are real..." Peyton said, speaking her thoughts without realizing it, then finally snapping out of it and looking back up at Alec and Blake.

"We have to find the others," Peyton said. "There are twelve main greek gods so there's probably twelve of us and possibly more... And we have to find them before Nexus does..."

Nel re-entered, having left a book on the table, he was at earshot, but he still remained a few feet away. "So all of them....looks like I'm not trusted....." he waited for anyone to notice how close he was, and that he had heard everything. the mark on his hand he had made earlier was gone, but his thumb was still bleeding, a minor problem. he could blame it on various things. "I see they already realize the threat they face. Perfect"

Alec felt a creepy sort of feeling coming from behind him. He turned around slowly and noticed Nel. Alec took a few steps back in fear, but he greeted the strange guy anyway; Alec gave Nel a small wave then he stepped behind Peyton and bent down to say something in her ear

"Still think he's not creepy?" he muttered.

He then looked back at Nel and waited for him to do something, or at least explain why he had come back.

"Hello...." he stated with a slight wave, while he hadn't heard what he told Peyton, he could read lips...and he sweatdropped as he read the word "creepy". "I'm sorry for coming back...I know you guys aren't all too keen on having me near, but I kind of left my journal here..." he pointed at a book on the table they were at, but as he stepped nearer a large thud was heard outside. "huh? what the hell is that?" as he turned around a tree trunk was thrown through the upstairs window, crushing the balcony area and finally falling on the reference desk. "Holy crap!!!!!"

Alec looked up and then examined the scene in shock; he wasn't quite sure what had just happened, but he was going to try to ignore it.

"Wonder where that came from..." he said, glancing up at the window where it was thrown from "I'm gonna go check it out..."

Without another word, Alec flipped his hair away from his face and started running to find out what was going on up there.

Someone must have some serious anger issues...

Alec was now growing curious about what had gone on.

Outside was quite the angry person indeed, Standing at a staggering 9 feet 5 inches was a dreaded enemy of the Olympians, The well known Cyclops, while he was tall, he was quite short in comparison to his Mythological counterpart that did not rule out his power. As he walked towards the building it looked to his sides, there were various people running and screaming for help, but it only reacted when Alec stepped outside. "RAAAAAAAWWWWRRRRR" it yelled as he punched the ground, causing another quake. Nel ran outside and looked at Alec. "holy..........uhm, i suggest we not stand here...."

Alec didn't have much time to react; He leapt into the air and then landed a few feet back from the 1-eyed beast. Alec had retained his balanced and now had more time to react. He examined the situation with much cation.

A dream...?

He was asked himself many questions and before he knew it, he was pushed down by a raging and fearful crowd. Alec quickly got back up, but it was not easy.

I see...So it's not a dream...Let's see....

As was thinking, he saw a greek mythology book that was apparently shoved down to the ground when the beast had appeared.

"Perfect!"

Without hesitation, Alec grabbed the book and then ran to take cover behind a large tree.

"oh god....I hope he knows what he's doing....." as the beast came closer it balled up it's fist and looked over at Nel, "Crap...why me....." he runs back inside as the large fist smashes through the door, or what used to be the opening to the building. The Cyclops then began feeling around the room, he looks around the room and sees the other descendants. Slowly making his way towards them, he picks up a broken table and begins swinging it around, pleased with his new toy.

Peyton grabbed Blake's arm and hurried out of the library to see some very freaked out people running away from the library, and Alec hiding behind a tree, reading a book...

She ran over to him.

"I really hope you have some type of plan," Peyton said.

Alec chucked a bit at Peyton's remark, but he didn't turn to look at her. Alec was too busy flipping through pages and skimming through every single page

"You know what they say, Reading can save lives...." he laughed, sweatdrops dropping from his face "I sure hope that's the case right now..."

Alec had now gotten to a page that was titled 'Descendants of Greek Gods'

"Alright, here..." he muttered "Many don't believe...blah blah blah...Gods have many descendants and to this day there are rumored to still walk the earth..."

Alec was losing his train of thought as he read

"Here it is!" he said pointing a section "Each descendant would have god-like abilities, depending on the god that they reined from...For example, The Posieden descendant would rule over the sea and earth..."

Alec quickly turned to Peyton

"Which god do you rein from?!" he asked, somewhat panicked

Peyton felt a bit uncomfortable having to answer this question, not liking the fact that she's related to the ruler of the underworld, she awkwardly scratched the back of her head and looked at Alec.

"Hades..." she said.

Nel was throwing what he could at the Cyclops' eye keeping attention on him while the others hopefully prepared something. "Ii could use some help over here!!!!" one good throw has a copy of "the catcher in the rye" poking him in the eye, enraging the beast, He swings his desk "club" and hits Nel throwing him to the other side of the collapsing building, as it regains sight it looks towards Peyton and Alec, he roars yet again as he rushes towards them, Nel, struggling to get up yells "Guys! hurry up or get the hell out of there!"

Blake looked on at what the cyclops was doing. Peyton had pulled him out, which was lucky because where they had been standing was now rubble. At first this whole God thing had seemed cool, even when he thought about the voice threatening him, but this seemed too dangerous. He looked about trying to find something to distract the Cyclops destroying the library.

"You may want to hurry up, or this may not be a very private party for much longer." His hand gripped the pole in his hand and he looked down. In all the chaos he had forgotten about it, "Does that book tell you how to unlock our Godly powers?" Blake unwrapped his weapon and held it in what he thought was an offensive stance.

[Dark Lightning]

Alec dropped the book and grabbed Peyton's arm, navigating away from the one-eyed beast's attack. He quickly took cover behind another tree

"Dammit! Were running out of trees!" He yelled. Alec then looked at Blake and was a bit surprised. He didn't answer the question about the book though.

Alec turned back to Peyton

"Hades...Oh great, what's your mystical weapon, a magical torch?!" he yelled in sarcasm. Alec noticed another tree about to fall on them, so he quickly ran away again and managed to pull Nel out of his tight situation. Alec then noticed that the book was close enough to get by reaching, so he did. He got to the page again and read aloud

"The child will unlock the potential power when the time is right.." he muttered. Alec then looked up from the book

"What kind of crap is this?! It's like a stupid fortune cookie..." he yelled, still panicking.

[Lord JZ of the Enigma]

Nel looked at his side, there was a large splinter in his side. "well, aren't I lucky....don't even have my powers and I'm about to die....." he looks towards the Cyclops. "Bastard, who does he think he is.....Nexus, doesn't even have the decency to fight us himself....." Nel struggles to stand up "not gonna go out like this...." The Cyclops looks at Blake and stomps in his direction causing the ground to shift violently, he looks back and throws a table at the others direction.
