"Thanks...I really need to check up on...well, you know...my...." he ended his sentence there, and while it seemed he didn't know what he was talking about he looked at her. "well, I'll be honest...I don't know what Chaos was.....and I never met my other parent...." he said with a nervous smile. "just a lil confusing y'know..."

[Felix Culpa]

Matt was driving across the state when he noticed a black Mustang behind him, that had seemed to be following him since he left town. He checked his rearview mirror, but all he could see was the road, as if the Mustang wasn't there. He continued driving, sure he'd be able to look back eventually. He was driving into the flatter areas of the state, away from Appalachia.

"I never knew my other parent either," Peyton said, feeling awkward. "And both my foster parents are dead, so yeah..." Peyton now felt even more awkward. There had to be some way to break this silence...

Awkward...

"So your dad is Chaos?" Peyton asked, trying to change the subject.

Or mom, but...believe it or not...yeah....Chaos, the super-primordial force.....you can't even imagine when he or she visited me.......I'm sorry if this is weird...I'm sure I should be far more scared than I look...but I guess when you get so much weird news all at once you always try to look at the upside, right?"

Blake placed the last book in the place where he had got it from and sighed. Holding the staff close to his chest, with his arms folded he stepped out to the edge of the book shelves. He noticed a friend of his, Peyton. Cheerily he made his way over to her and the other person she was with.

"Hey Peyton, what are you doing here?" He asked with a large grin on his face, it was only then that he got a good look at her friend. A weird feeling ran down his back, but he ignored and gave a happy greeting.

"And who is this then?" Blake gave a mock gasp, "Don't tell me... You've got a boyfriend?!" He began laughing, but he kept it down because of the location.

"yes and we're quite happy together...." Nexus said accepting the joke, though he apologized to Peyton soon after. "No, I joke, We just met, and I was simply taking a look at this book...." he looks at the page involving chaos though he still hasn't figured out what God or Goddess Peyton was from, and what of this new person....his aura was also odd, was he affected by his spell?

Before long Alec found himself blasting through the doors of the Libaray that Peyton was supposed to be in. As soon as he came in, he was hushed by the paper at the front desk. Alec ignored them and then rushed through the rows and rows of books. It was there that he noticed Blake, Peyton, and the one guy that he had run away from that one time. As soon as he saw the guy, he froze. Something about him wasn't right and Alec knew it. A part of him urged him to move towards the group. But another part was...Afraid. Alec shook his head and then walked over to Peyton, giving her a small wave. Alec's steps were hesitate, but even so, he kept himself steady.

Matt was halfway across the state now, which surprised him, considering he had left only a few hours ago. Continuous driving was one of his specialties, especially since there was no one else in the car with him, and that meant he could focus on the road. He'd have to stop for lunch eventually, though, because his mint candies were low in stock now, and he was starting to feel pangs.

 

He looked in his rear view to see if anyone was still behind him, considering the black Mustang hadn't stopped following him through the morning. At the rate Matt was going, he would see Dawn by tomorrow morning, after stopping on the shore for a day, because there was no way he would miss the good weather on the coast, though it seemed the gloom of the bad weather was following him.

 

He pulled over at a McDonald's and pulled out his cell phone. He dialed Dawn's number.

By this time, Dawn was already back home. She was flipping pages through a calendar, and she marked the day when her foster parents would come back home. They were away on a trip, and had left Dawn in charge of the house. Dawn had always been trusted with things like this, she was just naturally good at not letting people down. Suddenly her phone started ringing. She reached over to the counter and picked up the phone

"Hello..." she answered, her voice dull and small, but a bit more cheery than usual "Oh, Hi Matt..."

[Felix Culpa]

"I'm about halfway there. I'll stay the night in a motel near the coast, I'm just stopping for lunch. This weird black Mustang was following me for the first stretch, and I swear it was right behind me when I pulled off the interstate, but when I pulled into the McDonald's, it was gone," Matt said, looking up at the gloomy sky, though he didn't feel like mentioning it.

 

He walked into the restaurant, holding the phone to his ear. "One Big Mac, large fries and a coke, please," he said to the girl at the counter.

Dawn had finished marking the days of her calendar. It stated that her parents were to come back in about 3 days. A nagging thought bothered her, though. She wondered if this whole Demi-God thing would soon get out of hand, and she wondered if she would ever be able to see her foster family again. She sighed at this thought

"Well, that's good...I can't wait for you to get here, it'll bring back some much need memories..." she laughed. From the tone in her voice, you could easily tell that she was somewhat depressed.

"A black mustang...That disappeared? Well that's very confusing..." she spoke, holding the phone to her ear "Did you ever get any slight look at the driver?"

[Felix Culpa]

"No, whenever I looked back through my rear view, the car wasn't there, like I was imagining it, but even the other drivers did a double-take," Matt said, sitting at a table, and eating his burger. He looked at his watch, and it said that it was only 11:30. He knew he left at about 9:30, but he wasn't supposed to be this far.

Nexus looked at the other guy, he was the one that had taken Peyton away. "Oh hi...sorry about yesterday...didn't mean to creep you out yesterday." he just looked at him, with rather blank eyes, you couldn't tell if he was in a good mood or not, he simply smiled and stared at the book again. "Oh...I haven't introduced myself to anyone....my name is Nel, heh heh..."

"Nelhehheh? What kind of a name is that?" Blake chuckled again, "I'm only having a joke. So Nel, I'm Blake." He placed his hand out to shake and held the wrapped up staff in his other hand, resting it on the floor. Noticing who Nel was speaking to, Blake gave a massive grin.

"Hello... Alex. Ha ha."

He took a glance at the book.

"So Chaos. Why you looking at her... or it?" He flicked through everything that he had read in the last hour or so. "The Greeks said that it was the abyss. And everything came out of it. Am I right?"

Alec looked towards Blake, noticing that he too was there. He gave Blake a small wave

"Hello. And It's Alec. Not Alex..." he sighed deeply...

Alec then glanced around at the people that were all gathered here. He took a few steps back from everyone, taking notice of the fact that the area was getting a bit crowded. He then turned backed to Nel

"I'm Alec...." he said, not introducing himself any further.

 

~Dawn~

Dawn held the phone up to her ear with her shoulder as she started to get ready for bed

"That's...Really weird..." she said. Dawn bit her lip

"But then again...A lot of weird things have been happening..." she added under her breath. She peered outside the window and noticed that it was already pretty late.

"Yeah, he/she/ it was....but yeah...I have a report on the Super primordial gods and Chaos is one of them," he wasn't sure if these two were descendants so he had to keep it on a low profile, especially if he wanted to gain Peyton's trust, he reached his hand to shake with Blake's and looked at Alec. "It's nice to meet you Alec...is that short for something, it's an interesting name...though who am I to judge right...Nel is all that is on my birth certificate....I don't even know what it means....I should look that up....cause for now...it's nothing...." he joked on his own name to alleviate the tension in the little group, he looked back at Peyton, it seemed that her aura resonated about the same as these two, would that mean that these two are also descendants? possibly, especially since Blake wasn't even trying to hide his staff

Matt instead of heading to the beach, took to stop at Dawn's house, where she was waiting for him. He parked his car in the driveway, looking around. "Isn't anyone else home?" he asked, looking curiously at the seemingly empty house. "Is there any room you want me to stay in? I could be here for a few weeks."

 

He brushed his black hair out of his bright green eyes, looking at Dawn. "You sure have changed. You look a lot more mature then you did back in middle school, Dawn. I'm surprised it's been so long since I've seen you."

Dawn smiled as she allowed Matt to enter the house. She walked around the 1st floor and then went up stairs to check on something. She came back down and ran her hand through her darkly tinted hair. She smiled again and looked at Matt

"My parents are away on a trip right now..." she said, still running her hand through her hair "They'll be back in 3 days...Also, you can stay in the guest room upstairs or you can sleep down here on the couch if you want..."

Dawn laughed a bit and then threw herself onto the soft and puffy couch. She then looked up at Matt, her face showing a bit of curiosity.

"Nah, I haven't changed, I'm still the same from back then..." she said, her voice low "Maybe I've changed on the outside, but on the inside...I'm sure I haven't changed..."

[Felix Culpa]

"Well, I'll guess I'm going to move into the guest room. Something's been up though. The weather has been weird following me all the way here. Wind normally pushes weather away from the coast, so why is it following me from the mountains?" he thought out loud, looking at Dawn.

[Damiano Tosē]

Zechs, son of the fire god Hephaestus, took out his blade outside of his home and went in the backyard. He then took out his sword and sat down on the ground in his meditation style, holding the blade infront of him.

 

He then looked in the sky as he saw a fireball coming down at him. The fireball then stopped and appeared infront of Zechs as Hepahestus towered over Zechs and sat down indian style. "Is there something i can help you with dad?" Zechs said meditating with his eyes closed. It seems that you are trying to bring balance onto your aura and your powers.

 

Hephaestus said as he looked at his son. And it seems that your counterpart is conversating with yet another demigod. Hephaestus said as he stood up. Zechs did not really give a care what Dawn had did. As long as she does not cheat on him then he's good.

 

And it seems you do not care? What if she... "Father enough. I know Dawn better than anyone. She will not cheat on me. We made a promise and for that we will never break it." Zechs said as he looked at his father. If you say so son. I'll check up on you later. Hephaestus said as he disappeared through swirling flames.

 

"Yeah you too father." Zechs said as he got back to his meditation.

"My name has multiple meanings," Peyton said. "But I don't remember any of them."

Peyton was lying when she said this, she knew every single meaning of her name, she just didn't feel like talking about it since it wasn't what she was interested in at the time.

"I'm sorry to hear that, we could look up your name later if you'd like,I've seen a few naming books around here, I mean, only if you wanted to know of course." he stood up, seeing as everyone seemed uncomfortable around him. "I'm sorry, it just seems that the mood is a little....heavy, I should go, though, feel free to stop me on my way out..." he joked as he turned to leave

Dawn nodded as she peered out the window. The weather was fine a few moments ago, so it was unexplainable how it became so windy. Dawn shrugged and then took her car keys from the counter top and then walked out of her house, and into her car. She looked up at the sky and then started thinking.

Today is Sunday...There is school tomorrow...

She sighed. For some reason, she wasn't able to think strait. Her mind was unclear, and she had a massive headache to top it off.

Peyton watched as he left, and then turned back to Alec and Blake.

"Well that was awkward," Peyton said.

Peyton still felt weird around Nel, as if something just wasn't right, she knew not to trust him until she got to know more about him.

[Theseus]

Jared Black sat outside in the streets, looking up at the sky as it darkened ominously as if there was some sudden influx of atmospheric pressure. He picked up his phone and started dialing, calling Dawn, one of his friends from school.

 

"Hey, Dawn," he said into the transceiver, looking up at the sky. The clouds no longer looked like clouds but a hanging shroud of shadows, blanketing the area. "Have you been outside lately?"
