"Well as everyone should know, I am the owner of this estate. Now you must excuse me, I have a matter to attend to, I hope you can find out all of your secrets. Now goodbye" he walked off and went to his chamber

[Kaisu]

Kaisu had a flash of genious and he got the paper back, and he began to highlight it with his pencil, making sure not to destroy the impression. He smiled as some lines of text appeared. He added a ligth layer of paint and pressed it against another piece of paper. He had packed a bag filled with random stuff, if you're wondering where he's getting everything from.

 

Royke peered over Kaisu's shoulder and saw what he was doing.

 

"There we go!" Kaisu said gleefully.

Christopher remembered something from his childhood at this point. "Ha! If this works..." He walked up to a waiter, "Could I please have some pure lemon juice?" The waiter looked stunned but quickly fetched for some. Chris took the juice and poured small amount over is paper. A message became visible:

Five hundred begins it, five hundred ends it,

Five in the middle is seen;

First of all figures, the first of all letters,

Take up their stations between.

Join all together, and then you will bring

Before you the name of an eminent king.

"Guys, I found something..."

I pulled out a pencil from my bag. I went over everything. Like Christopher, I got a message:

If you break me

I do not stop working,

If you touch me

I may be snared,

If you lose me

Nothing will matter.

"Hey guys, I got a message too, but it's different," I said.

"What could 'Five hundred begins it, five hundred ends it,' mean?" Chris wondered allow. Surely it wasn't a location. But a time? It was possible. If that was the case, then they would have just 24 hours starting at 5 am to do whatever it was. But that didn't seems right. Something had already started.

"How is it possible to break something, but it still work? And, 'If you touch me I may be snared'? What does that mean?" I wondered aloud.

"Guys, come see this! My paper revealed something. A clue of sorts, only I can't wrap my head around it." Christopher was beginning to get annoyed by all the games.

"'Five hundred begins it, five hundred ends it'? 'Five in the middle'. Well, if you put 500 and 500 together, it makes 500,500. In the middle of that is 05, but I'm not sure that's what it's talking about.

"Hold on, I think I read a book with a riddle similar to this. The numbers code for a word." Christopher felt silly, even as he said this. He hoped this would work. "500... Well, that is 'D' in roman numerals. So it might start and end with a 'D'. And 5, well that's 'V' so V is in the middle. Now The first of all figures? Maybe they mean letters? Well, that is A, and the first of all numbers, keeping with the pattern, I! So D-A-V-I-D, David. Now the rest... He was an eminent king! He defeated Golliath. But what does it mean?"

After showing the peice of paper, Shawn kept it in his hand as he stood up. "Excuse me!" Shawn said in an irritated voice. Letting his nerves cool as he listened. He replied quite less irritated, "Your welcome, i'm sorry for not introducing myself before intervening, but you two wouldn't be able to figues that out. Let me try this again. Hello, I'm Shawn. Nice to Meet you Chris, do you mind if I call you Chris? Christopher is way to fancy for me to say.

 

OOC: Also I would like to say that is so not what was going to be on that paper XD

IC:

Shawn handed the piece of paper to Chris, as he turned around and saw Akihiko. Who said, "It does start tonight, but do you know what starts tonight?" Shawn not putting to much thought to it, kinnda zonned out.

He ignored Kaisu as he started walking away, "See you another time Chris." Shawn said as he was walking away.

Shawn was already at the door by the time Akihiko started talking again.

This time, Shawn didn't look back. But was stopped, when he saw the Kitchen. Thoughts raced through Shawn's mind. And decided he, wanted some PEPSI! So he went in the kitchen, suprisingly no one stopped him from entering.

 

Ooc: Shawn won't take this little game seriously unless it has to do with life and death. Which i'm sure it will soon. If not, he'll get intrested by other means.

"He's a real character." said Chris. "How could this lead me somewhere?" Chris wondered. He had been hoping for a little bit more then a name, like maybe a location. He decided to take a stroll through the house, to see where they would be staying. He started by heading to the kitchen.

"I don't know. King David? Now onto my riddle... This is going to be tough. Broken, but still works? Touched, may be snared? And the most bizzarre, lost, nothing will matter?" I said.

Shawn was scourging through the kitchen, "BEEP IT!" Shawn let out with anger. "They don't have one flippin pepsi!? (Yea, Shawn is a little crazy when it comes to PEPSI.) Shawn then started walking towards the exit. He saw Chris, "Hey Chris" Shawn let out when he saw him. "How is that little puzzel going?" He said still somewhat upset. Shawn then looked down to see letters on the peice of paper. "So, you figured that part out huh?" Shawn chuckled, "I knew it was that all along. I just wanted to see if you would figure it out. You look down is there a problem?" Shawn asked curiosly.

"Stupid clue is useless. I mean, who ever heard of a place to do with David? You know, from the bible? Anyways, want any help with your riddle? I'm just exploring the house. Making up escape routes." Shawn probably thought he was joking when he said that, but he wasn't. He was being completely honest.

Shawn stood there listening. "I don't have any riddles to solve, i'm not really into this game. As for 'David', maybe it stands for someone who is acctually a person in this mansion. A room called David. 'No Clue is worthless.', quote Sherlock Homes." (I know, he didn't say that. But hey, he could of.) Shawn then chuckled when he heard escape routes, and chuckles, "good one". Shawn said, but before Chris could say he wasen't joking Shawn said, "If you'll excuse me, I think I saw a vending machine outside. My pepsi awaits." Shawn said as he walked towards the exit. "Good luck." Shawn let out as he was walking.

Chris realized he might be right, it could be a room in the mansion. Chris exited through a different door then he had entered. The hallways were opulently decorated with rich paintings. Many doors exited the hallway, but non with names. He continued on, hoping for a stroke of good luck

"David...David... Maybe theres someone here with that name. The owner paid him to have a seperate clue, that the people had to find him and ask him for it. I say we question all the people here, and then the staff. We should search the rooms too, there may be something that belongs to 'David'." Haro smiled at his flash of intelect and then realized at how many rooms there were and how long it would take.

Herit stopped dead in his tracks. He'd taken the clue to literally. Maybe it wasn't who David was, but what he represented; The Bible. He had to find the Chapel. He turned right around and headed back for the room where everybody was. He needed to ask somebody where the Chapel was.

As Shawn exited the mansion he heard a very low bark coming from the creepy dark forest, that was right next to the mansion. (B/C, every mansion has a creepy dark forest next to them. >_>) Shawn gave a slight smirk recagnizing the bark. He walked over to the edge of the forest and looked down. To see a little Wolf Pup, with grey fur that had black details in it. Wagging it's tail looking up. "Bark!", the Wolf Pup said in a excited tone, as it's tail was wagging. Shawn croutched down and petted his friend. "Hey Wolf", Shawn said. "You followed me all the way here, eh?" "Bark!", Wolf replied. "Well, I guess your gonna follow me no matter what I say, huh?" "Bark", Wolf replied again. "Alright, come on." Shawn said, as he began walking towards the vending machine with Wolf following at his heels. (No, Shawn has not forgot about his Pepsi. XD)

 

Ooc: Wolf is Shawn's Wolf Pup, he found camping once. Wolf was about to die, until Shawn saved him. Not being able to find the Wolf's parents, he kept him. And has been Shawn's pet ever since. (He is also helpful to Shawn's cases. B/C, Shawn trained Wolf to sniff out secents of all kinds, people, other animales, etc... As long as Wolf has a sample of what the thing smells like.)

The music stopped in the ballroom, a scream was heard, it was from the maid, she was in Akihiko's chamber. There was blood around the body, his face was pale, the lights were dim in the room, there were candles lit around the fire place and there was money on the table in the middle of the room, there are bloody footprints in the room you could hear faint music in the room, there was a bloody bible on the table in the center

 

OOC: I can't think of anything else, Try to figure out who the killer is with the 3 clues I gave, there are 5 NPCs I will soon control it's one of them

Haro rushed over to where the scream was heard and saw teh body. He gave the maid a semi-hug, gave her a conforting smile, and told her to go sit down. Haro walked back over and stared at teh body. "This is terrible..." Haro knelt down, carefull not to touch anything and smelled the air. It reaked of fresh blood. Haro stared at the bible. "Guess we found our David... but what is that money doing there?" Haro learned that in a crime scene, nothing was a coincidence. Haro walked back to the maid, sat down next to her, and put his arm around her. "It's ok. We'll find who did this. Can you tell me anything? Anything? Any body that went in or out of the room?"

OOC: I forgot to mention the bible is bloody I'll add that now

 

"Well, there were a few men in the room with Master Akihiko, there were discussing something about business, when I brought in there drinks the money was on the table already."

A man walked over

"I was one of those men, my names Koichi Sho, We were discussing a transaction for a building to be constructed in west Japan. My partner Nobuo Davidson went to the restroom just now, but I can tell you nothing happened between us"

Shawn was walking into the mansion, with his Pepsi in hand. (Mission accomplished! XD) With Wolf at his heels, doing laps as Shawn walked. Shawn then stopped, and got on his left knee. He put his left arm at a slant. Wolf knew what to do, he ran up Shawn's arm onto his left shoulder. Then "Barked", singnaling he was ready. Shawn then got up, and began walking with Wolf sitting on his left shoulder. Shawn went for another drink of his soda when the music stopped, and a blood curtling scream was heard. Everyone stopped in place. Shawn dropped his soda spilling it all over. He started running in the direction of the scream. When he entered a hallway, he stopped running and started walking carefully. He took out his Swiss Army Knife and twirled it once in his hand, now with the knife attachment out. He began slowly walking in the direction of the scream. With his back against the wall. Wolf jumped down from Shawn's shoulder and was on alert, as he followed Shawn.

When Shawn came to a door, he peaked in and saw the dead body. He then twirled his Knife and slid it in to his pocket. Then walked in with Wolf covering his back. "Alright everybody, back it up detective here." Shawn said as he walked in with his badge out. He put it away when he saw the body. He got on his knees and pulled out some rubber gloves, that he then put on. He than began inspecting the body. He felt for a pulse, but gone none. Shawn then came across a stab wound. He felt it was really deep, and at his heart. Shawn looked up grimly, with his eyes closed. As he said, "He's gone. Now this is a murder case." Wolf was busy sniffing the blood footprints, that smelled 99% of blood. Wolf followed the scent to where Shawn was inspecting the body. Wolf then detective a faint secent of shoes. He then sat at the doorway, his tail not wagging. Waiting for Shawn to see he might have a lead. Meanwhile, Shawn looked around and saw money on the table. He then turned his head and saw a bloody Bible. Shawn said under his breath "David." He then saw the footprints, with Wolf sitting there signaling he got a scent. "In a minute." Shawn said, as he got up and took the gloves off. Shawn noticed that the lights where dim, and candles where lit. He pondered this, as he walked over to where the maid was sitting. He heard faint music, as he reached the maid. He put all this in the back of his head, as he pulled his notepad and pen out. He croutched down, and looked at the shaking women.

Shawn had listened to Haro and the maid talk, as he was inspecting the body. He wrote all that down, (as well as many other things.) and told the maid to call the ambulance but not the police. If the police came, the culperit would run. He also told her to make sure no one leaves the ball. "Don't tell anybody about what has happened here, ok?" Shawn said, he then stood up and walked over to where one of the suspects was. He looked at Haro and said, "Well, Haro right? You and I might have to be working together soon. Please keep me updated on anything you find." He then looked back at the suspect, ready to question him.

James was trying to solve his clue when the lights went out and he heard a scream. The next thing he knew, he was running towards the scene. Detective's natural instinct. "Look out, detective James Saicon coming through!" he warned. Putting on his gloves, he kneeled down to the dead body. He examined it and then wrote this on his notepad:

Lights went out at 9:30 PM.

Lights came back on within 10 seconds.

Victim appears to have been impaled right through the heart.

Bloody footprints leaving the crime scene.

James put his pencil and notepad away, and then grabbed his syringe and drew blood out of the pool that had been left. He noticed the dim lights and lit candles. He knew those hadn't been like that before. That's suspicious if I'd ever seen it. I've never solved a murder case before. Strangely, he thought.

Haro smiled. "I'd be glad to. Nice to make a new friend..." Then Haro frowned. "Terrible that its about something like this." Haro stood up and smiled one last time at the maid. He approached Koichi Sho and stuck out his hand. "Sir, my name is Haro Karuki, I'm trying to solve this case, and I need to know the details of what you were talking about, among with details about the other men with you." Haro stared with a glare that didnt look like he suspected Koichi, but didnt look like he thought he was innocent either.
