Pokemon: Virtual Collapse [PG-13, Starting (Still wanting apps), Accepting]

The enclosed building was once a sanction for every Pokemon lover on the planet. Adults and children both enjoyed the technology it offered.

This building was the center of the "Virtual PokeReality" game. It was the first game to actually insert you into the game. No, not your mind. YOU. You could do anything you would normally do in a Pokemon Video Game. Gym Battles, Training, Pokemon Catching, and more. It was always up, and people were always in it.

The game was free, as it was a virtual reality experiment. The government had been looking into ways to transfer people into a Virtual Playing Field. They had many people working day and night for a way to create it. Computer screens were always on, mouses were always being clicked. Some programmers were extremely tired on the job... This caused the whole problem.

A key programmer had not been paying very much attention to his coding. There was two numbers that were switched. This meant that about two years after the release, the game started malfunctioning. It started constantly having errors and making Pokemon in game go rogue. Not all Pokemon, but some of them.

The worst result was an internal lockdown. People could get in, but not out. It was a virtual hell. Nothing could help them. The Evil Organizations of the regions are actually banding together and recruiting agents. So... Bottom line is; there are the Trainers and the Evil Organizations.

Will anyone escape? How will life in this "New World" be played out?

[spoiler=Rules]

No Godmodding

No Invincibility

You will be beat in battles, not everyone can win.

It's almost like the Anime. It features a lot of freedom.

You may join the Evil Side.

No person can lead anything. No person is "well known".

Just to add something interesting to the RP, unlike the others, Romance is allowed between players.

You cannot have any legendaries.

NO Script speak whatsoever.

ex)

John walks down the street.

John: HI!

If you must, only one Shiny Pokemon.

I want advanced, detailed posts. This means around 5+ GOOD sentences.

We are all equal. Remember that.

NOTE: You are a trainer/Evil person. The real world is like ours, no Pokemon.

Was hoping for something more evil, but that's the best I could find. =/

Team:

Absol (Male)

(Shiny) Houndoom (Male)

Weavile (Male)

Drapion (Male)

- - -

Trainer or Evil Organizations?: Evil Org.

Bio:

Eur is Daniel Mitzuk's cousin. Just like his cousin, he has always loved Pokemon and bought every game. He has had a deep love for Dark type Pokemon ever since they came out in the 2nd Generation Pokemon games. He always used them and would try to not use anything else. When the Pokemon Absol was released in the 3rd Generation, it instantly became his favorite and he always used it. When "the Game" came out, he immediately thought, "I'm going to catch an Absol". So, he entered the game and not 10 minutes later he found and captured an Absol. Then, the lockdown happened. The game had malfunctioned and everyone was trapped in the game, including Eur. Eur slowly began to build a hatred over the course of 3 years when he discovered the Evil Organizations. He joined, and enjoyed his life with the Organization. Since then, all he has cared about is his Pokemon and nothing else.

^If it needs to be longer, I can make it longer. ;D

Anything else?: Commonly called Eury.

[spoiler=Krystal Meko]

Name: Krystal Meko

Gender: Female

Age: 17

Appearance: An attractive young woman with raven hair kept out of her eyes by a hairclip. Hair trails down to her shoulders in the back. Has brown eyes, her left eye has a small scar just beneath it, her face is otherwise unblemished. Wears an open blue jacket over an unrevealing white top, and blue jeans. Specifically aims to appear like a trainer, rather than a member of an evil organization.

[spoiler=Team:]Glaceon (shiny female)

Golbat (male)

Ariados (female)

Trainer or Evil Organizations?: Evil Organization

Bio: Krystal, like most people in the virtual world, was an avid fan of the Pokemon games, but always felt that the game mechanics and base stats were unfair to most of the Pokemon available and always liked to build teams involving her favorites, rather than ones deemed particularly powerful. When she got into the game world, she immediately set out to prove that the Pokemon "lacking love" in the games could prove to be formidable if they existed in a reality not dictated by the stats system and turn-based combat system. Although she cares quite a bit for her Pokemon, her frustration at some of the other players' desire to wield strong Pokemon prompted her to sign up with an organization, as video game experience taught her that organizations could be both menacing and a hassle. She does her best to befriend trainers with the hidden objective of turning on them later, but she has been able to develop genuine friendships. She hasn't minded getting trapped in the world because she loves being immersed in a world with Pokemon.

Anything else?: Values her Glaceon above all else.

[spoiler=John Smith]

Name: John Smith

Gender: Male

Age: 18

Appearance: John a physically impressive man, over 6' 2 and with a broad, somewhat muscular build. He keeps his blond hair fairly short, and has deep blue eyes behind rectangular glasses. He usually wears a green jacket and trousers, with a white shirt, a brown coat, and black boots. He carries a brown satchel and wears a brown hat.

Team:

Lucario (F)

Golduck (M)

Eevee (F)

Tropius (F)

Trainer or Evil Organizations?: Trainer

Bio: The building is a very long way from John's home, and he entered the world as a tourist. Before he was trapped, John was spending part of his gap year in the area, and since he had enjoyed the Pokémon games when he was younger, he had decided to spend a few weeks in the game, as he didn't think he'd get another chance at experiencing virtual reality. The lockdown came just days before he was due to leave. John was supposed to be going to university, but that can't happen, and his life in the real world is now on hold, at least from his own perspective. He was initially annoyed about being trapped, but has since decided that since he can't do anything, there isn't much point in worrying, and that since there's nowhere else to go he's better off just enjoying this world.

Anything else?: No, don't think so.

But, soon after the begging, his parents both were killed in a car crash. They were actually going to go make a payment for Daniel to be put into the game. To honor their decision, and his wants, he took his inheritance and did just that.

Accepted. I can see that you bio is a bit simple or short, but it'll be okay. If I see any signs of short posts, I will have to remove you though.

Note to mods: I know it seems like I am accepting everyone, but I'm only accepting because they meet my guidelines. I doubt everyone will, but these individuals did.

OOC: I guess we could start now. I see no reason why not, as this kind of RP is an easy one to jump into.

IC:

Daniel lazily walked down the lonely dirt path. Small Pokemon and bushes dotted the sides of the paths. The trees above him allowed just enough light through to see. Occasionally, the shadow of a Pokemon above would flicker across the dirt.

Magmar trotted along next to him at his own rate, sometimes speeding up to reach Daniel's rate of speed. His flame behind him licked at the air around it, lighting the atmosphere. For this reason, many Wild Pokemon feared the two partners.

Daniel stopped in his tracks as one of the bushes around him began to shake. Berries began dropping to the ground, one by one.

"Magmar!" Daniel shouted, as any person would.

The dependable creature stood at guard, waiting for the mysterious being in bushes to emerge.

OOC: I guess you could say this is a way for someone to meet Daniel.

But one day when he was 6, A new television series called Pokèmon came out. Zach was addicted to it. Zach had always been interested in Animals, Dinosaurs, Bugs etc. Allof these things plus superpowers was just an awesome combination. He loved it. He of course bought the first game when it came out, but he really didn't understand it. He didn't know all of the type advantages and secrets until he was older. Since then, he has been on and off between pokemon and real life. He wanted to be a chef all of his life. He's also a real ladies man and doesn't like talking about pokemon in front of them. But when the virtual game came out, he spent all of his time playing the game. When it completely malfunctioned, Zach chose to go inside knowing he maybe wouldn't come back or not at all. He thought that he would have more fun in the pokemon world than in the real world. Inside the pokemon world, he could actually be free, be the best trainer, and maybe even save the world like in the games he held dear. His family wasn't all that bad, except for his sister. He hated her even though she was younger than him by 2 years. He was going to miss them a whole lot, but in this game, he felt he was ment for something more than a boring life as a chef.

John stopped for a few seconds, breathing deeply, before he carried on running again. The Lucario alongside him seemed not to change her pace, although John somehow seemed to be alongside her again.

"She's fast, for something so small. Are you sure we're on the right trail?" John asked the pokemon between breathes. The Pokémon didn't respond, not until she suddenly stopped dead, pointing at a bush over to one side. It seemed to be one of those that grew the berries that many Pokémon seemed to like so much.

"She's in there?" John asked. Lucario simply nodded.

John crept closer to the bush. It seemed to be shaking, so there was something in it. Whether or not it was Eevee would be another matter, but Lucario was good at differentiating auras. John slowly pulled apart the branches of the plant. Inside was a small fox-like creature, happily munching on the fruit.

"There you are," sighed John, reaching out and grasping the creature around the Eevee. Instantly it shot off, out of the other side of the bush. John was pulled into the bush, but he didn't let go, and once Eevee was out of the other side she was suspended in mid-air, unable to escape. John clambered out of the other side of the bush.

"You can run and play, but only if you stay close," he told the little Pokemon sternly, before looking up to see a boy, about his age, with reddish-brown hair and a Magmar, staring at him.

OOC: Accepted, Gliscor.

Daniel looked with a crooked smile at the boy. It seemed odd for a boy to pop out of a bush, Pokemon in hands. It was an Eevee, obviously. Daniel figured, either way, he would be kind to the small creature. He knelt down to it's level.

"So," Daniel said to the Pokemon in a cutsey voice, "is this your trainer."

Magmar let out a sigh in reply to the simple comment. It was pointless to talk to this little thing. It was not a mature spirit, that was for sure. But, a child it was, and children are always immature. He would have to accept it. Nothing would change it.

"Mag," Magmar said wisely.

Daniel chuckled at Magmar's obvious disinterest in the subject. He was always that way.

Zach smiled. He was finally, permanetly, here. No one to tell him to get off so early, no one to tell him what to do. He was a real trainer...sort of. His Gligar flew beside him. Zach smiled at him. "Well..Gligar...Now i'm stuck with you forever...or until they fix the glitch." He laughed.

"Gli! Gligar!" Gligar said cheerfully. They walked upon what seemed to be two trainers, a Magmar, and an Eevee.

"Hmm..These guys are stuck here as well. Wonder if it's on purpose or not." He waved towards them. "HEY! WHAT'S GOING ON!" he shouted.

"Eevee!" replied the little pokémon, delighted at being given attention.

John, meanwhile, pushed through the bush and straightened up, before pinning Eevee to his front with one hand, leaving the other free to brush down his coat.

"Sorry about that," he said to the other trainer, "It's just she's at the point where she won't stay still. This is the third time this week, and she's getting further each time. My name's John, by the way. This is Eevee, as you can probably guess, and-"

John looked behind him.

"Oh great," he sighed. "Can you excuse me for a moment, it seems I have something else to deal with," he added, before quickly stepping behind the bush.

"Now where have you gone, Lucario?"

OoC: Gliscor, I just want you to know, that post is a bit simple. Please make your future posts longer.

"Okay then..." Daniel said in an odd manner. This trainer seemed used to this sort of thing.

"Hey?!" He shouted.

Magmar squinted at the sound of the loudly screamed words. He was already annoyed enough by this young Eevee, but now this. It was as if this day... Virtual day... Would never end for the Magmar.

Daniel slowly rose from where he knelt next to the small Pokemon. The trainer was within a short walking distance. He figured he would just approach him. Within seconds, him and Magmar were both in front of him.

"Hey, I'll guess you're a trainer too?" Daniel asked.

Daniel was heading up to the virtual Lake Valor for a small swim. He had been needing that for a long time now.

Zach smiled. "No way!" he said sarcastically. Zach had always been the sarcastic type. Also very hot headed. He needed a friend in this world. He guessed Daniel would be that person. He looked at the depressed looking Magmar. Actually...Magmar kind of always looked depressed. At this thought, Zach laughed. Gligar sighed. He went up to the Magmar and stuck out his tongue.

"Gli!"

"Sooo I know it's sudden and all, but do you want to battle. It's been such a long time since i've been here and i could really use a warm up." he said in a cocky tone. Zach also had a major ego. "Cause see, I'm gonna be the Pokemon champion some day. Out of everybody playing througout the world, I'll come out on top. hahahaha!"

Daniel took a long sigh. These kind of people annoyed him, but entertained him at the same time. He needed someone to talk to, anyway. This could be the person. Well, why not give the battle a try?

"Uh... Sure," Daniel said flatly.

This would be a fun battle, for sure. Magmar smiled in delight. A battle is just what he needed to keep him entertained. He stood at ready. Daniel backed up a measurable distance for the battle field.

A smile spread across Magmar's odd duck bill. The flames on his tail grew in excitement. Already wishing the battle had started, Magmar launched a couple of Punches into the air, which soon developed into a flaming Fire Punch.

Inhaling the crisp air deeply, Krystal walked along the boundaries of a path, weaving aimlessly between the various trees and bushes she came across. It wasn't too bad of a day out and she had no 'real' responsibilities.

Above her flitted a large blue bat with a gaping mouth, its ears twitching as it listened to the echoes produced by its nigh-inaudible sonar. Krystal spared the Golbat a glance and smiled. "Finding anything?" she called up to it. The Golbat screeched, in an unmistakable negative. Krystal giggled to herself. Even if she wasn't assigned to a task, per se, she was more than willing to pad her paycheck by finding tasks for herself.

This world was her home, her web of half-truths that made up her life, and she loved every moment of it. She hadn't spared returning to the real world more than a passing thought. What did that world have to offer when one could mingle with fabulous creatures like these Pokemon on a daily basis and live out their lives here?

Golbat drew her attention with another screech and she looked up, her brown eyes lighting up with excitement. So, what had her precious bat found for her? It must have been special, or else Golbat wouldn't have reacted so strongly. Krystal jogged ahead, her eyes scanning the surroundings. Not too far ahead, she spotted what Golbat had detected. A human-sized bipedal jackal seemed to be moving around up ahead, but for what purpose, she could not determine from the distance.

Krystal stopped in her tracks. A Lucario? Here? She stopped behind a few bushes to study the blue-furred creature, tapping her chin thoughtfully. Golbat landed on her shoulder, folding its wings over its chest and mouth. Krystal didn't mind; it did that all the time. What she wanted to know now was who was the likely trainer of that Lucario. The specie wasn't common, even in this cyberworld, unless it belonged to another person.

((EDIT: Sorry if this is a bit short. Can't put much detail into a battle...))

Suprised by the sudden attack, Gligar was hit by the Fire Punch. He landed back a couple of feet. "Gligar!...you okay?" Gligar got back up and nodded. Zach sighed out of relief. "Wanna give a little warning?" he asked Daniel. "That was kind of abrupt." Zach smirked. "Let's show 'em what we're made of!" Gligar smirked and dashed towards the Magmar launching a Slash attack. "Gligar's my favorite pokemon. I've trained him the most out of all my pokemon. Your Magmar seems strong, but you won't stand much a chance." Zach said friendly.

Magmar smiled again. This would be no real challenge by his standards. He had battled much more difficult battles against even Water-Types and... Wait... He lost those.

With the thought in his mind, Magmar was unguarded. A sudden Slash came upon him. He held the spot where it had hit, his chest. It was a terrible pain, but he would bear it.

"Magmar, Unseen Flame!" Daniel shouted.

Daniel was one of the few trainers too do something of this sort. He had spent hours teaching Magmar how to link these moves for a perfect attack. Mud-slap, to blind the foe, then a large Flamethrower right at them. It was the perfect strategy.

Magmar jumped high up into the air, coming down with a large stomp. Dust flew high into the air, covering Gliscor's eyes. Then, the sudden attack. A flamethrower right to the chest.

"Oh..." Daniel murmured. The attack was something he wouldn't want to endure.

Maybe Daniel had forgot about Gligars Sand Veil, Zach thought to himself. "Wait! That's not sand! It's mud!" Zach's Gligar was hit by the Flamethrower. Gligar flew back even farther than before.

"GLI!" It screamed in pain as it looked at a burnt mark on it's shell.

"Hmph...Very nice..." Zach smirked. "That was a really powerful Flamethrower your Magmar's got there. And your combo attack was very strategic. As for me, I have all attack moves. I like to get things done fast! Gligar, use..." Zach had to think. Iron Tail?...No...X-Scissor...No...Ice Fang...No...Slash...the only attack that was effective against a fire type. Crap...Zach shrugged. "I guess we'll have to go with Slash again!"

Gligar again dashed towards Magmar with a Slash.

Magmar was ready for the attack this time. Luckily, Daniel had a Defense-Attack strategy all planned out.

"Magmar-" Daniel said before noticing Magmar was hit with the Slash.

Fine then... He would have to use a regular combo. This one would have to shock him. It would have to paralyze him in fear... It would have to be... The Volcanic Eruption! He knew it! Earthquake, the split some of the ground and then Lava Plume to shoot Lava from the holes. Gligar would never expect it.

"Volcanic Eruption!" Daniel finished.

Magmar stomped his feet on the ground. The earth split into two halves. Then, with a sudden twist of the arm, Magmar shot lava up and through the hole right at Gligar.

((Kind of like one of Jiraiya's Jutsus if i'm not mistaken.))

Gligar looked at the ground beneath his feet which became hotter and hotter. He bounced off the ground with his tail, trying to avoid as much of the lava as he could. The attack had still hit him none the less. Gligar was still gliding through the air.

"Good! Let's try an Aerial assault. Magmar can't reach you up there buddy! Let's try an Iron Tail!" Gligar nodded.

He shot towards magmar. His Tail started to glow as he swung it at Magmar with his speed and strength.

Magmar was in a state of panic. The large creature of prey had launched itself towards him with an Iron Tail. What would he do? Wait for an order from Daniel, most likely.

"Your turn!" Daniel shouted.

This was a term Magmar was not familiar with. But, it reminded him of when he first met Daniel. He had taught him one combo... What was it... OH! The name had made no sense, but he knew what it meant. Magmar flung himself into the air also, only making it a few feet off of the ground.

Then, with a sudden turn, he used Mimic. A simple baby move Daniel had once taught him. Magmar's arm glowed silver as he matched his arm with Gliscor's tail.

This was the face-off. The deciding blow.
