a card all the way from Neptune DISC Tyrant Neptune

Recommended Posts

Now that I think about it' date=' I'll replace Spell Striker in my combo with Reaper on the Nightmare. Instant Fusion doesn't spend your normal summon, and the effect is even better...

[/quote']

Because Spell Striker totally can't be special summoned by it's effect *epic faceplam*

I didn't mean that. I mean, Spell Striker nor Instant Fusion spends your normal summon, but I like the second the most, because It will be antihonest, antibraincontrol, and will hit the hand too...

This + JD + Five Headed Dragon = Game.

fixed

they have stardust' date=' the dark door, and a scrap iron scarecrow on the field.

[/quote']

And how exactly does that make Neptune necessary? Really, in that situation, you can't do anything with or without Neptune until you can get rid of Stardust by some other means.

I was going more on the fact of game, than any need for neptune, since in what other situation would you survive long enough for both of them to be on the field at the same time?

I tribute Hardened Armed Dragon and Reaper on the Nightmare to Summon The Tyrant NEPTUNE!! GG SIR!!

Compulsory Evacuation Device.

E-Hero Wildheart is a better choice for Reaper on the Nightmare IMO

Getting access to Reaper of the Nightmare's Effect means that it can't be destroyed by Battle is a Direct attacker and gets 1 card from the opponen't hand when it hits....HAD mades it up for its weakeness to cards that targets it

yea especially when u have an indestructable don zaloog with 2500 ATK and can attack directly

1500 + 800 = 2300=/=2500

But that still works....

EXcept again Bouncer and Spining effects but ah well...XD

What about submarineroid and a beatstick? Then equip it with something and it'll keep getting higher.

Submarineroid doesn't get higher. You misunderstood it's effect.

If you equip submarineroid with something' date=' then attack, doesnt the original attack=damage dealt?

[/quote']

Other way around. Damage dealt=original attack (usually 800). This only applies if it's attacking directly via its effect.

This card is interesting to say the least, but it doesn't seem necessary. It's ATK will probably not be particularly high without a high investment already and I'm having trouble thinking of good effects worth tributing a monster for this, considering you could probably do the precise same thing with the ORIGINAL monster.

Meaning I summon submarineroid, equip with axe of despair, attack with submarineroid's effect. That would make submarineroid's original attack 1800, and with the still-equipped axe of despair, it's total attack would be 2800.

Is this correct?

No. When you attack with Submarineroid using it's effect, the damage you inflict is aways the original ATK of Submarineroid, ie. 800. If you power it up with Axe of Despair it still only does 800 damage, because the original ATK hasn't changes, however if you equip something like unstable evolution (which changes the original ATK), then you'd do 1000 or 2400, depending on how many life points you have.

It was intended to prevent people powering it up to get a huge direct attacker. Unfortunately the wording isn't clear - it really should have said "Any battle damage inflicted becomes equal to the original ATK of this card" or something along those lines, as the way it's written just makes it seem like it had an effect it doesn't have.
