Get your facts straight. The sun is too small to become a supernova. And it will always be like that.

 

What will happen is that it will eat up Venus and Mercury, and then become a white dwarf. And Earths trajectory will repel it far from any solar system.

 

As a result, on that day, life (if any) on our planet will FREEZE to death.

Not really. If until that day scientists learn how to manipulate asteroids so their gravitational pull can keep us rotating around the white dwarf that was once called Sun' date=' that would be a great achievement.

 

Reason: White dwarfs use energy released by weak force. So they virtually never stop shining.

 

On the other hand, if our sun COULD actually become a supernova, we would be doomed beyond salvation.

But the fact he hid it as a thread made it original.
