Of course you get grades! A, B and C are pass grades, and D and E are fail grades. If you miss one or more papers, you get X. If you miss all papers, you get Z.

I've had to rewrite the first chapter of my upcoming fanfic caus I was pretty disatisfied with it; the rewrite nearly messed up my plan as well, but it's all under control
