Krystök - Chief God and God of the Earth and Stone. He is the Guardian of Krystokalites' date=' whose powder is said to contain 1/2 of the energy required to bring someone back from the dead.

 

Kørpusklar - A fiery scorpion who is said to reside underneath the gates of Ħäł. No man who has come face to face with this creature has lived to tell the tale. Eurynome finds this beast a pest as it feeds on the souls of the dead, which give Eurynome power.

 

Ħäł - The underworld. The God Eurynome resides here.

Here's my idea for the setting.

 

I was thinking that there be three different countries/factions. In the NorthWest lives the natives of the continent. Their land mainly consists of mountains' date=' which gives them a defensive advantage. The natives are deeply rooted in their myths and legends. The two other groups of people traveled from other nations. They were racing to conquer the last unexplored continent, and they now each own about a half of the remaining land. The natives were forced back to their current location, and own the least amount of land. The two foreign groups' land is made up of mostly marshes, plains, and rivers.

 

This is just a (really) rough draft.

Jecht and Britney were sitting on a beach. Water glistened in both their hair. Their surf boards laying down beside the each of them. The sun had just started to rise on the beautiful water that adopted an orange color. They were laughing at eachother. "Are you serious?!" Britney said not able to contain her laughter any longer. "Yeah' date=' I was on vaction and a huge wave came up. I went for it and wiped out. When I got out of the water my shorts were gone! But I didn't notice until I was ahlfway up the beach!" They both fell over laughing, then sat up again and fell silent. Jecht was staring into her face. [i']Wow, I never noticed how beautiful she was.[/i] They had been friends since they were kids. They met in a surfing class and were friends instantly and he had never even considered the fact of them being anything but friends. She was staring back at him. They leaned in and closed their eyes but when Jecht open his eyes he found himself looking at his TV that was left on last night. "GODDAMMIT!!!!!!" He yelled at the top of his lungs. "NOT AGAIN!!!" He got up andlooked out his window staring at the beach and suddenly Britney's face popped up. "Angry much?" She said sarcasticly and Jecht face turned a bright red. OH MY GOD!! NO WAY SHE HEARD THAT!!!

Well' date=' since this medieval/darkages, the whole continent will not have been explored. The Dwarfs/Elves/Fairies/etc. could just live in the wilderness, where humans have not explored.

Teh Dwarfs/Elves/Fairies will be separated from humans. I was thinking that the humans wouldn't know there's such thing as them until Eurynome reveals the whole secret of the gods.

The clock struck the twelve with both hands, signaling that midnight had arrived. Born under a large tree, a baby unlike most babies was born. Even in the ominous wind, not a cry uttered from his small mouth. For comfort, all he had was the warmth of his parent's embrace. All three of them sat there, illuminated only by the glow of the full moon and light of the shining stars. The mother cried with warm tears of happiness.

 

"It's a miracle," Clerotes, the father, said.

 

Before the baby was born, Enallia, the mother, had a severe illness. They thought the illness could harm the baby, or even worse, kill the baby. It was a miracle to the parents that nothing had happened, nothing went wrong, nothing at all.

 

"Oh it's a boy! What should we name him?"

 

"Now, now, Enallia. We should find a good place for you and the baby to rest."

 

 

 

*Seven Years Later*

 

"Father, where are you going?" asked Primerio.

 

"To work in the fields."

 

Primerio frowned and crossed his arms. "I thought you only worked for eight hours."

 

"I am working two more hours. The price of food has risen. I'm afraid you'll have to start working, too."

 

"Work in the fields?"

 

"They won't take anymore workers, and if they were, they would not take you. You're too young. I've talked to Tybalt Reguran and..."

 

"You want me to work for him?"

 

"You'll be his apprentice."

 

"But father! He is a grumpy old man. Nobody likes him at all."

 

"I am afraid we have no choice. We have spoken to everyone. He's the only one taking an apprentice. You will start tomorrow."

 

Primerio's father headed outside with a sad face. Before he left, he said one more thing. "Your mom and I only want the best for you."

 

Primerio was about to reply, but his father had already closed the door. Why do they always have to work? Not only are they in the fields most of the time, but do we really have to live in a village where kids are scarce? Primerio had caught the bad habit of talking to himself. There's hardly any kids, and the kids that are actually there doesn't talk to him.

 

Primerio decided to go outside to have his last walk around town freely before he has to work non-stop with Tybalt Reguran, the blacksmith. As he strolled down the green grassy field, he saw a girl. The sight of the girl stopped him. He had never seen a girl before. He'd seen women, but never a girl at the same age as him.

Zeke sat in a operation table. Their were approximately 6 Men in wight lab coats surrounding him. Zeke felt no pain yet he knew they were tampering his body. This was his fourth day in this, what seemed like, prison. Zeke could not remember what had happened before those four days. He figured they injected something into him that had made him forget. Sometimes he hated how advanced humanity was becoming. He was operated on in each of the four days he was here. This time was different. The other three times he was in a different room and they were taking blood samples. He new it would be over soon. HE closed his eyes and as soon as he did he felt a sharp pain in his back. "Argh!" Zeke shouted. He tried too get out. "He's resisting!" He heard one of the doctors say. "Hold him down!" Said another. They all ran and held him down. The sharp pain continued and then he felt something being pushed, or rather forced, in. "Get the anesthetic!" One shouted. They injected him with a shot of the anesthetic and he began too feel drowsy. His vision was beginning to bluer up. He finally fell asleep but he would forever remember the last thing he heard before falling asleep. "Retrieve the Halo."

To be honest, it looks ugly.

 

 

No sheet. I literally made that in about 5 min. in Paint. The Rivers/Forest/Marsh/Plain were extremely half assed. If I actually tried it would look a lot better. Twas just a rough draft.

Frukstallr - A demon who takes the shape of a rabid dog. Black and dark gray in color with dark, almost black, red eyes.

 

Veltrdrakr - A wyvern covered in ice. They live up in the Northern Ocean on Veltrfrøstr Island, which is approximately 14.32km off the coast of Alkskulgar.

Norse Mythology does things to you. You always have the temptation to end something's name with an 'r'.

Norse Mythology does things to you. You always have the temptation to end something's name with an 'r'.

 

What got you into Norse Mythology?

I am very left-brained. If I tried w/out a form or something' date=' it would rip off some random game and/or book.
