EliminateHRN
For Easter, my parents got me The Lightning Thief. The first book in the Percy Jackson series. I'm going to start reading it later tonight.
Twig
You get gifts in Easter? I don't... You'll like it, especially if you have a thing for Greek Mythology.
EliminateHRN
They just get me candy and sometimes a few extra things. Last year, I only got a DS Grand Theft Auto game and lots of candy. This year, I got lots of candy and The Lightning Thief, aftershave (I always get razorburn after shaving), and...body spray. So I mostly get candy with one or two extra things. I love mythology, but never really got into Greek Mythology. But I'm sure I'll love it, even though I don't know much about it, Greek Mythology seems awesome. Akumakagemaru
It is, I can promise you. I love it, have for years. I can give you the basics of the Olympians or some of the Titans if you want, I know them pretty well.
Sploda
Greek Mythology is overdone, I go with Norse Mythology.
Twig
I should read a norse mythology book some time... Speaking of books, I'm currently reading the fifth book of the Septimus Heap series.

Kaisu
Egyptians, Greeks, they all have nice little names for their Gods. But Christains keep it simple. God. That's it.
Twig
A story should have a beginning, a middle, and an end... but not necessarily in that order. ~Jean Luc Godard I saw this somewhere, and I got a good idea for a story.

Twig
How would something like that be done? Jake the Sage
True, but it would be a great book if it was ever done. I even know the "catch phrase" "Go Back . . . To The Begining!"
Kaisu
YOu'll have to apply. And I just realised, there are no romance stories about a guy that's homosexual.

Twig
YOu'll have to apply. And I just realised' date=' there are no romance stories about a guy that's homosexual.[/quote'] I'm sure there is plenty, but I'm also sure they would all be gross. I don't read romance books, especially that.
Jake the Sage
I actually like certain romance in novels. But novels ABOUT romance overdo it so much I feel like blowing my brains out. And I have done it, so sad being immortal sometimes . . .
ThatPhantomGuy
I concur. But you have to look at the book, if it's a romance, of course they're going to mush your brain with the bloody overly romance in it. X'D They're are a few books I've read that are very good and have a great balance between action and romance. And I remember my favorite quote that one guy wrote long ago... Something along the lines of; "Romance and Dueling, the only way to RP!"

EliminateHRN
I started Percy Jackson late last night. (I couldn't go to sleep because I keep having very vivid dreams that wakes me up and then I can't go to sleep.) I'm currently half-way through the 2nd Chapter. It's really good. I need to know more about Greek Mythology. I'm worried that when that aspect comes into the books, I don't know what's going on.
~Kip~
I'm your guy for Greek myths. Actually, I am Greek, so you can ask me almost anything about our myths, Claw.
EliminateHRN
Your Greek? Cool. I know some stuff about Greek Mythology, like the gods and stuff like that, but I don't know what the Titans are. They mentioned it in the books (something about a war between the gods and Titans), but I don't know what the Titans are. I've been researching ever since then. Twig
Well I didn't bother to research. I just read on. It's a great series.
