Nexev
The third was supposed to be the final but he realized it was too freaken huge, so he split it.
DL
I think I heard that somewhere. Also, I liked the 7th one. I tposed a lot of nice out-of-school time. But it didn't have the feel of the rest HP books.
Naimo
Well, given how JK Rowling can dedicate most - if not all - of her time to the Harry Potter series, it makes sense that they came out fast. And I absolutely loved all the Harry Potter books - I've even got Quidditch Through The Ages, Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, and The Tales of Beedle the Bard
DL
O.o Unfortunatly, I, on the other hand, started the HP seriews when it was already on the 4th book, read 1-4 in portuguese, read 5-7 in english, and didn't buy anything else. xD
Naimo
Same here - when I was seven, I got a boxset containing the first 4 Harry Potter books, but I didn't really get into them until two years later
DL
xD At first, I thought I was going to dislike Harry Potter (same with Eragon, when I gbot it later on) Apparently I had a love for reading I didn't know about :D
Naimo
lol - well I've just brought Joseph Conrad's A Secret Agent (though I was tempted to get Jude the Obscure or a book along the lines of The First Men on the Moon ... English Lit has done something to me, I swear it has)

Sploda
My library at school had them, but I think the Greek god thing is overdone.
Twig
Overdone? How so?
DL
It's not overdone, but it is a popular thing in RPGs and myths. But still, Greek Gods and myths fascinate me :D
Naimo
Not for me; my tastes have now evolved into non-fiction that's really a bunch of old columns by a presenter/journalist or a book by a comedian/presenter/journalist I happen to love. DL
xD I still dwell in the fiction realm. Non-fiction doesn't really appeal to me.
Twig
They're turning The Hunger Games into a movie. I hope they don't ruin it.
Naimo
xD I still dwell in the fiction realm. Non-fiction doesn't really appeal to me. It does if it's a Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, James May, Charlie Brooker or a comedian's book; I kinda want to read "My Sh!t Life So Far" now, caus I'm interested to see what made Frankie Boyle decide to be an offensive comic. DL
I hardly know these ppl, outside your fanfic xD Also, I heard from my friend the hunger games was kinda boring.
Naimo
lol, I am too obsessed with them =D but of course, you'd be more familiar with Charlie Brooker (being my god and all, he's in my avatar, signature on FO, including when he kissed the puppet Mr Fuggles xP)
