Name: Steven Espasadin

Age: 23

Blood Type: AB+

Sex: M

History: Steven's an outcast. Although he despises the Verscilves with every once of his being' date=' he also despises the humans. Believing that the humans could help the Verscilves, he attempted to create a cure....which destroyed a quarter of the city. Shunned from the others, and banned from the city, he took his materials outside to the surface, where he was promptly attacked by the Verscilves. Torn from both sides, he doesn't know whether to help the current humans...or the former.....

[b']Appearance[/b]: Wearing swirled white and blue armor. Midlength flowing white hair, with blue eyes. Holding a long blue red-tipped staff. Pretty tall, not too muscular, a little pale.

I never said that they were trying to find a cure >,>

I said that they were going to wait, for 5 weeks, for the asteroid to hit the planet.

And the Verscilves, although almost near immortal, are still tough to beat. There are too many to count. They would kill you practically on the spot.

And if you read my application, my guy apparently is in charge, or high up top.. You know what, read it for yourself D:

And the Appearance is not detailed. Make it more detailed. And what's with the staff? O.o

One more chance. Don't screw it up.

STARTING POST

People walking peacefully on the streets of the underground city, passing by each other, passing by teenagers with their headphones, blasting their music, the usual lifestyle amongst the people since they started living underground. And when they used to live on the land, rather than underneath it.

After taking a quick shower, removing all traces of unneeded bacteria and dirt from his body, Viral dried off quickly with a towel, rather than the new way of drying. After drying off, he got dressed in the same usual outfit, a bartender's suit, and tied his hair into a knot at the bottom, letting it flow freely.

Grabbing a nearby suitcase and his ref board, he gave a quick cough, clearing his throat, and walked to the door. He grabbed the knob, and stared. "5 more weeks huh?" he whispered. He turned the knob, and exited the house, locking it.

He threw his ref board in front of him, which quickly stabilized and floated in the air. He jumped on it, and rode his way to the Grandeur University, flying over the many people on the ground. "I must say, this is quite a convenient way to travel." Viral remarked.

--I know this might start out a BIT slow, as there won't be much action, but it's mainly for the characters to get more familiar with each other.

Karaiga slowly stepped out of bed. He rubbed the sleep from his eyes and searched for his towel, whilst running into many other objects. He grabbed it, and his shirt and wandered to the shower. After the shower, he dried off. He put his checkered shirt on, and his jumper over the top. He stepped outside and took a stroll. He knew that he didn't have much time left in his life... So he had to make the most of it.

Joshua got off his bed, making sure he doesn't slam his face to the uneven ground, like usual. "5 weeks until the resurface. Greed will finally face its end," He murmured to himself. He strutted to the shower, keeping his balance to the room. After a 5-minute shower, he quickly dried himself off and wandered around the refuge known as the underground city.

---- I'm back from Belgium Enrise! Lets get this show on the road!

Rawr Rawr Rawrrrr!

That was all Eadaoin heard behind herself while she ran. Her powerful legs gave her much ability to run, but she found that she ran out of energy quickly. She stopped and sat on a piece of bent iron that layed out across the pot-holed road and the lifted tiles of the pavement. She sat there a catched her breath as best she could.

Rawr Rawr Rawrrrr!

She heard the heart-pounding noise's again. She quickly jumped up and began to sprint again. She did not know where the noise's were coming from, or if she was running straight towards them. But that wasen't completely on her mind at that moment. She was more concerned about getting underground in a safe place. Well, she regarded it as a semi-safe place.

Why she wasen't underground in the first place wasn't known, even to herself. She always has tried to trace her memory for the answer of why she did not go down. Was it because she could not except her loved ones had changed, or did they not allow her in? She just didn't know.

Rawr Rawr Rawrrrr!

She heard the growls once more and, even when her legs began to ache, continued to run. She turned into a wrecked alley corner and, from being completely exhausted; tucked herself into the little crevas that was inside a large hill of rubble.

While reffing towards the university, Viral checked his pocket for his phone, and felt the vibrate. Looking from the cover, it said it was from one of the defenders. He flipped it open, and talked through it, asking, "What is it Johnson? I'm busy getting my ass to the university."

From the phone, a distorted noise came through.

*Bad reception... But... There's a girl on...surface..*

This made Viral feel, uncomfortable. There was a girl on the surface, now? "What the hell was that girl thinking? She could get herself killed. Actually, I'm surprised she isn't killed yet."

He held the phone closer to his ear, and said, "Alright. I'll be there in a bit." He hung up the phone, and called the university. No answer, so he might be busy. "Hey, Dean, Professor Pein here. I'm gonna have to go to the Central Tower. Secret Business."

He hung up the phone, and decided to head back home, since he wasn't that far. Taking a few simple shortcuts, he saved the amount of time by at least half from the normal way he took.

Meanwhile...

A group of Verscilves were running around randomly, talking gibberish. However, a more, human-likeish Verscilves came up, still deformed like the others, but seemed more, civilized. It could speak, not like the others. "You maggots! Get in your areas! I don't want a peep out of you!" shouted the Verscilves. He must be in command of these Verscilves.

--Bold is Verscilve language. Italics is thoughts. * is via phone or other means communication.

Eadaoin heard shouts close by, but she could not understand the language. She had many language degrees, but this was one she did not know. She jumped out of the little crevas she was sitting in and made her way through the wrecked buildings. She ran through atleast five rooms till she came to a radio. She walked back and went towards it. She turned the tuning knob to any random number and picked up the mic. She held down the button.

"HELLO! Is anyone out there? My names Eadaoin Horgan and I'm stranded at..."

She looked out the shattered window to see the broken sign that read 52 Appel Quay

"...52 Appel Quay! 52 Appel Quay...Please come quickly..."

When at the Central Tower, Viral headed to the top level, where the top people were located. Apparently, they received a signal from outside. IT could possibly be the human. "Sir! The human is at 52 Apple Quay!"

Viral looked confused. "I remember that place. My favorite coffee shop was there...." He pondered for a bit, then looked at the people. "Fine! I get it! I'll go..."

He headed down to the bottom level of the tower, and located there, were thousands of suits, or more like robots. "Great... I feel like a robot in these. I wish it didn't have to come to this."

He took the suit, having assistance when putting it on, and sprinted to the exit, grabbing a ZOP-99 Assault Rifle nearby. "It'll be good enough to knock them back a little. But to kill them? Bah, I wish."

Viral stood at what seemed to be an elevator, and pressed a button on what was on the inside. The doors closed, and he shot up.

Eadaoin pulled out a rotting wooden chair from the corner and sat on it in silence. She tried to stay as silent as she could. Waiting for some sort of reply. She looked out of the window again and at the sign. She remembered it before it was wrecked. And the coffee shop that was just next door to it. She went there often, well, she worked there.

Micheal got out of bed. He combed his hair a little bit, and put on his clothes. He decided against it and took a shower. He got dressed, re-combed his hair and walked out the door. He took a look at his countdown watch. He had set it last night. IT was sent to go off five minutes before the five weeks were up, as to alert him to what may be his final moments. Same with the hour, and day before. He looked up and saw the cave ceiling. So, this is what has come to eh? The remaining humans stuck underground like moles. This was as close to hell as he wanted to be. He though to himself grimly.
