[align=center]Ladies and Gentlemen, due to the many RP's that I saw, I was in total disgust. There are way too many War and Life RP's. War RP's are cliched, with an Evil vs Good storyline. Life RP's, well..... They're annoying.

So, I wanted to do a different RP. But however, it may be my last RP. This RP will not be about War nor Life. But Survival.

In the year 2099, with the wars now over, and everyone living a peaceful life, one cannot argue that the world's condition it's the closest thing to paradise. No crimes, no wars, nothing. It was totally evil free.

However, the one thing that preventing it from turning into actual paradise, was a group of scientist who wanted to discover a way to immortality. They questioned with each other, theorized possibilities, experimented over and over again.

One day, while they were on the ridge of finding a way to infinite life, something went wrong. The scientist Professor Anew Verden, the one in charge of the experiment, found the answer to the solution. However, they path to immortality had to be consumed. A solution made from an unknown amount of chemicals, going under thousands, millions even, of various conditions that would be impossible for most elements to survive unless man-made or controlled elements. With the creation of the solution, they hit a wall. The final ingredient for immortality, was human blood, and at least 1/3 of the amount of blood the human contained. But not just any type of blood, the consumer had to drink his own blood along with the solution combined, to fully reveal the path to immortality.

But that's when everything goes wrong. They didn't realize that certain Blood Types had different effects. The solution, was like poison. When they introduced it to a certain amount of people, at least over a million people were in line to take it. They drew their blood to be added into the solution, mixed in, and took it. None of them realized the effects that would happen.

As every single drop of the solution entered the bodies of the subjects, their skin began eating away at a rapid pace, while rebuilding itself at the same speed. Their structure as a human changed, resembling something that wasn't even explainable. Their faces moved to different places of their bodes, organs split from the bodies, some moving outside. Bones began to changes size and shape.

These humans, were no longer human. They were complete monsters. Creatures of the true unknown. The scientists were however, trapped by the enormous amount of beings that would feast on them within seconds.

The people were in fear, they ran for their lives. They had no weapons, no protection, nothing. They were just the easiest prey to feast on for the beings that were soon known as "Verscilves".

5 Months later, cities that were high and complex, were now fallen towers and barren ruins that became homelands for the Verscilves. The survivors now live in underground cities, hoping that they can find a way for the Verscilves to die out. They were wrong. They realized that the Verscilves cannot die, as the for they took in the solution that granted them immortal life. Or close to it.

They used the intelligence that they had, and discovered that in 5 weeks, a asteroid would hit the surface of the Earth, obliterating all life on the surface. It was a good thing that they had the technology to live underground.

Their goal as the remaining human race, was to survive 5 weeks.

History: One of the survivors that didn't taste the poisoned solution. A woman in her early 30's who might appear intricate and composed but looks and acts younger than she is. Quite self-centered, top of the world and eager to show off her knowledge and abilities.

 

Has studied sciences in the past but didn't get accepted as a scientist, since her work was mainly taking what others did, trying to do it better, for some parts by justifying plotholes with occult theories... and ultimately failing!

 

She was raised in a sheltered background, marked too by the esoteric arts, and can't stand being proven wrong. But past the compoed, knowledgeable outside attempts it becomes quite clear to people that she is in fact kind of a coward and whimsical at heart. And one of her phobias is BLOOD!

 

In fact when the dubious ingredient of the "magical" solution came out, she couldn't get her blood excreted without fainting and was taken away into the car of a friend, which finally allowed them to escape (despite her claims that most of all she saved herself!).

 

With that, the dream of immortality was far and few for her but in fact, the months before she had been trying to figure out a different way to reach the same goal. These filthy scientists are using such primitive ways to attend a noble cause, of course she could do it better!

But at this point the situation in the underground is precarious and hostile. She'll have to prove the highest of all challenges: surviving...

 

Appearance: In her early 30's but looks younger than she is. Average height, quite slim but not fragile, seems used to work-out. The type of person that cares to appear elegant on the outside but her whimsical interior always shines through, even through her appearance. Wears slightly past shoulder-length straight brown hair with bangs and dark blue eyes. Her standard clothing is a long violet coat that is laced in the back and worn open at the front, reaches her knees. Underneath she wears plain black pants, brown boots and a shirt that seems to have been reddish.

 

 

(Ehm...I expected some supernatural or at least technology plot or else it's kind of a basic survival story...oh well there's technology in the underground.;)

History: Since the announcement on the path to immortality from the scientists, Viral Pein knew that there was going to be a fluke of some kind. Nothing could be found easily. Just a few years ago, they found the cure for the most common yet deadly diseases in the early 21st century, such as AIDS, HIV, Cancer, and more.

 

Now, since the birth of the Verscilves, the worlds most deadliest creature yet, the human race's only chance of surviving this man-made Apocalypse that started out as a way to immortality, is waiting 5 weeks.

Viral's only chance to help the people survive, is to help protect the people from the Verscilves. Men, women, and children. They're all important, so he will do anything to protect them, from the greediest to the kindest, from the most criminal to the most pure hearted. It doesn't matter who. He'll do whatever it takes.

 

Now underground, Viral serves as a Jack of all Trades in many situations, a Teacher for the young, a Leader for when action is needed, and a Commander when protecting the people. Despite the tiresome job, he's full of energy to protect the people. He can quit this job when the 5 weeks are over. Till then, he'll just have to gulp down some Energy Drinks and suit up for the worst.

 

Appearance: A quite tall person, roughly 6' 9", Viral is slightly muscular, but not too much (Too much muscular strength is bad in certain cases). His hair is usually in a pony tail, being long and black, he sometimes attracts a few girls. Sometimes not however. He wears a simple black bartender's outfit, but wears the most advanced bullet proof vest and other armors underneath. Other times, when he's protecting the underground nation from the Verscilves, he wears a highly advanced suit comprised of modified Titanium, able to withstand many conditions. With this, he's sure to defend the human race. Or is he?

It stated that you killed Verscilves, yet I stated first that they were immortal, or close to it.

Also, there are no Verscilves underground. They haven't reached towards that level yet. And the mass amount of Verscilves, could kill you instantly. It would be impossible to survive for that long period of time.

Also, even though it's near 22nd century, a huge Titanium Blade and Solar Power Sun is quite unlikely. And the fact that he has implants, unlike the rest of the characters, makes him right off the bat quite more... buffed.

And a name, song, and dream, probably will have no effect on this RP in any manner. And a man with amnesia will probably not know how to survive the Verscilves in the first place.

History: Steven's an outcast. Although he despises the Verscilves with every once of his being, he also despises the humans. Believing that the humans could help the Verscilves, he attempted to create a cure....which destroyed a quarter of the city. Shunned from the others, and banned from the city, he took his materials outside to the surface, where he was promptly attacked by the Verscilves. Torn from both sides, he doesn't know whether to help the current humans...or the former.....

Appearance: Wearing swirled white and blue armor. Midlength flowing white hair, with blue eyes. Holding a long blue red-tipped staff. Pretty tall, not too muscular, a little pale.
