Yu-Gi-Oh! Revelation of the Zodiac [PG-16/Started/Accepting by PM]

Suddenly when Victor was speeding by he noticed a certain individual riding his Duel Runner fly past him. Suddenly his Killer Whale Mark gave out a large sting and he noticed a flicker of red light coming from the individual. "That bastards a Signer...." Victor muttered as he pressed a certain button to secure a red helmet with black shades onto his head, obscuring his face from view. He also insterted his Turbo Dueling Deck into the Duel Runner and toke a most-likely illegal U-turn to pursue his target, "Hey Kid! wait up!" the man yelled as he approached the man at high speeds.

"Hey, I'll get back to you on that while I'm kicking this guy's ass." Kenshin said, shuffling his deck and hopping back on his Duel Runner "Unless one of you three wants to Tag Duel?" He suggested, looking at the other Signers. "Any takers?"

Sayla laughed again "I'll have my little buddy here draw." She said "And I'll Summon the Tuner Monster Naturia Stinkbug." She said as a tiny insect flitted onto her shoulder "Phew, go bother Zeth." She said "Anyway, now I activate Speed Spell - Summon Speeder, Special Summoning Naturia Cliff." A large sentient slab of rock fell down from the sky. "Now, I tune my Level 3 Stinkbug to my Level 4 Cliff." She said, as the Naturias went through the standard Synchro Summon rigmarole "Oh God of the North, I beseech thee, return unto this Earth and reign again. Synchro Summon! Genbu incarnate, Naturia Landols! Now, thanks to Cliff's effect, I can Special Summon another Naturia White Oak in Attack Mode."

((If no response))

"Now, Landols, please attack Zeth's Submarine Frog, but don't make the poor little guy suffer." She covered the section of her mask where her eyes should be with her hand "I can't look, Half Shell Slam." She said, her voice pained

((Gonna keep going?))

"I'll tag along. From what I've heard, Earth has lower gravity than what I'm used to, so I would love to see what my machine can do on these roads. Besides, I would like to see exactly what my allie's strengths are...and my enemy's weaknesses."

Promethea was impressed at Sayla's combo.

"Alright. So you now have field advantage. For now."

Zeth waggled a finger tauntingly at Sayla. "You think I discarded a card just to let it die? Trap Card: Froggy Forcefield!" A trap card flipped up, showing a Treeborn Frog being protected by a film of light. "Consider this card a Mirror Force when you attack a Frog monster, so your three little Naturias bite the dust!"

The trap glowed and a sphere of light covered the Submarine Frog protectively, sending a wave of light towards Sayla's monsters.

Damian gave Izumi a hug.

"Will do."

He mounted his Duel Runner and turned back.

"You two get as far away from this duel as possible. I'll call you later and give you a rendez-vous point."

"Went with the wrong God that time." She muttered, then laughed "Ha, psych! I activate my Trap Card, the aptly named Trap Jammer. Now, do I need to explain his effect to you, or are you smarter than you look?" The Dark Signer asked, still carrying that ever audible smile on her face.

"Alright then, how are we gonna play this?" Kenshin asked, the Head Mark on his arm pulsating visibly "Do you want 8000 Life Points, a twelve card hand limit, or do you want the new guy and I to have a combined 4000 Life Points?" He asked, not noticing that the Mark on his arm moved, like it was roaring at Victor.

"I'll go with separate LP, thank you very much, Mister." Damian replied.

"I don't I know you well enough to put my life in your hands."

Promethea sighed.

"If you're done wailing on Zeth, is it my turn?"

"Okay, if that man says he doesn't want his life in your hands then I'll take the 8000 lifepoints, anyways, since you two happen to be hurting my arm I suppose its time to share the pain!" Victor's mark of the Killer Whale glowed brightly, as he put in Speed World Z the mechanical voice spoke "Central Highway, all vehicles take a different route!" "Sorry pal but I can't wait that long" Victor said as his Dark Mark began created a large wall of purple flames around the route chosen by Speed World Z, making it impossible for the Duelists to exit. "Anyways!" Victor bellowed in a insane voice as a purple line of energy appeared on the right side of his face. "I'll allow the victims to go first!"

Damian smirked.

"Alright! I'll start it off by drawing!" (SPC: 1)

"I play Koa'ki Meiru Speeder in Defense Mode!"

A strange, flying machine built around some sort of hexagonal engine appeared, then flew up into the air, turning blue. (2200 DEF)

"Now, I set a face-down and reveal Powerhand as I end my turn!"

"I end my turn, Miss Promethea, you're up." Sayla said, giggling happily. Unicor was still easily keeping step with the Duel Runners, despite the speed they were going by now.

"Alright then, I guess that means I'm up." Kenshin said "Draw!" He appraised his six cards "I activate Speed Spell - Angel Baton, drawing two cards and sending one of my cards to the repair shop. Next, I Summon Junk Synchron and activate his effect, Special Summoning the Junk Armor I just discarded. Now, I tune my two Junk Armor and my Junk Synchron together!" ((Standard Synchro Summon scene)) "Clustering stars will call upon an old friend! Become the path its light shines upon! Synchro Summon! Show yourself, Junk Warrior!" He chanted as the purple/blue Warrior appeared on the field in front of him "Junk Warrior, Attack his Armed Sea Hunter, Scrap Fist!"

((Huh, I always thought you did get a SPC first turn, but upon checking, turns out I thought wrong. Wonder why I thought that in the first place...))

Zeth smirked. "Before Promethea takes her turn, I activate my trap: Dust Tornado, targetting your remaining facedown card, Sayla." His trap card flipped up and a whirling tornado appeared, steadily approaching where Sayla's remaining facedown card lay.

"That's fine by me" Sayla said, her smile still audible "Now, would you please let Miss Promethea go? I'm kinda impatient to see what power that beauty conceals." She said as her little white helper sent her face-down card to the Graveyard. It billowed enough in the wind to make it apparent that it was a Trap Card, but just what one they couldn't tell. She looked over at Promethea "Say, Miss Promethea, why don't we team up for now until Zeth loses?"

((Proto, the order is Y-tak, you, me, repeat, not Y-tak, you, me, you, repeat. We're using Rex vs. Yusei//Jack/Crow rules, not Paradox vs. Atem/Jaden/Yusei rules. Unless that's what Y-tak thought too, in which case I have to edit my last post and I actually do have a response))

Zeth's gaze flicked from Sayla to Promethea, casually plucking a card from his hand and slipping it into one of the rear slots of his Disk. It was true that he had the disadvantage so far into the duel. He didn't have as much experience with Turbo Duels as he did with regular duels, since his Turbo Duel cards had been with his Runner for the past two years. The idea of them ganging up on him was rather appealing. He remembered Sayla's duel-innuendo and smirked. Two girls ganging up on the guy.

"By all means, your move, Promethea," he said. "Sayla's turn is over."

((I agree with Dresden. I was thinking those rules.))

"Sorry, Sayla. Unfortuantely, the phrase 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend' comes to mind, considering how you intruded on the Turbo Duel Zeth and I were about to have."

"My move!" Promethea declared. (SPC: 5)

"I activate Speed Spell - Speed Zone Approaching!"

Speed Spell - Speed Zone Approaching

Spell/Quickplay

Remove 1 Speed Counter from a "Speed World" you control. Add 1 "Speed Zone" to your hand from your Deck.

"With this card, I can now add Speed Zone - Jurassic Circuit to my hand. But before I activate it, I will play Speed Spell - Summon Speeder, allowing me to Special Summon Black Ptera!"

An evil-looking flying dinosaur swooped in from nowhere. (1000 ATK)

"Now I activate Speed Zone - Jurassic Circuit!"

Speed Zone - Jurassic Circuit

Spell/Continuous

You can only activate this card by removing 4 Speed Counters from a "Speed World" you control. This card cannot be destroyed as long as you have at least 1 Dinosaur-type monster on your side of the field. This card's name counts as "Jurassic World". Increase the ATK and DEF of all Dinosaur-type monsters on the field by 300. "Jurak" monsters require 1 less Tribute to be Tribute Summoned.

The entire field shifted to a barely paved road in a thick jungle, with a giant volcano in the distance.

"Now I can Tribute Black Stego to Tribute Summon Jurak Tyranus!"

Black Stego transformed into a ball of light, which exploded to reveal a giant, angry-looking flaming Tyrannosaurus Rex. (2500 ATK -> 2800 ATK)

"I can now activate Tyranus' effect, Tributing Black Ptera to have it gain 500 ATK!"

Tyranus chomped down on Ptera, which caused the flames on the giant dinosaur's back to become bigger. (2800 ATK -> 3300 ATK)

"Now, Tyranus and Herrera, attack Sayla's White Oaks!"

Tyranus chomped own on one of the trees, causing it to burst into flames, while Herrera burnt down the other by launching fireballs at it. (Sayla: 1700 LP)

Sayla started... crying "You killed my trees!" She pouted "Why would you do that? We're supposed to be on the same side! I was just trying to be your friend, and you do this?! What's wrong with you?" She asked, Unicor bucking its horn at Promethea's Duel Runner, aiming to take out her engine "Let's all gang up on the weak little girl, right?" She asked, Unicor bucking again "You think I don't deserve to be here so you're trying to kill me! Well guess what, I killed everyone that tried taking advantage of me, you're no different!" Her Mark and Deck, and Extra Deck all started glowing bright blue, "I'll kill you both!"

((Yes, Sayla's completely @#$%ing crazy, and yes, she's gonna get scarier."

((Wow.))

((Is Promethea the only sane Dark Signer around?))

"Sayla, calm down. This is just a game. And I am not trying to eliminate you for those reasons." Promethea tried to reason with Sayla, but saw that using logic was futile.

"I set a card and I end my turn."

Jurak Tyranus' flames calmed down a bit, but not much. (3300 ATK -> 3100 ATK)

((I don't think Zeth's crazy or psychopathic))

Zeth scowled at Sayla's behavior, but saw nothing that could be done to stop her. Wiping out her lifepoints would probably work, but that was a risky strategy when Promethea had two monsters with around 3000 attack points and Sayla herself had a Synchro with barely under 2400, whereas he had only one monster and his facedown card.

"My turn, then!" he announced, drawing his card quickly. Hm, that card could work. "I play one card facedown and..." he placed his last card onto the field. "Unifrog in attack mode!"

A purple-blue frog leapt out from the summoning ring, a sharp horn on its head. (ATK: 400) Zeth smirked and flipped his facedown monster to attack position. "Come up, Substitoad!" A large pink frog with two wings bounced up from the road, one wing angelic, the other fiendish and draconic. Portions of its body shared the pattern. (ATK: 100, DEF: 2000) "Now I activate its ability. By tributing one monster, I can summon any Frog from my deck. I tribute itself," Zeth continued, and the pink frog vanished in a sphere of light.

"I summon Dupe Frog in defense!" Zeth announced and the sphere where Substitoad once stood faded, revealing a pale blue amphibian with a graduation cap upon its head. (DEF: 2000) "And for the main attraction...Unifrog, attack Promethea's lifepoints directly! And if there is another Frog on the field when it successfully attacks directly, I can destroy one opposing Spell or Trap card."

The horned frog croaked and charged Promethea's Runner, its horn glinting.

"I activate Defense Draw!"

A shimmering barrier formed around Promethea, protecting her.

"Any Battle Damage I take is reduced to 0, but I get to draw a card."

Promethea drew, and smiled at her latest acquisition.

"My turn! Draw!"

Damian's cocky grin became even wider.

"Aw yeah, baby! This is what I'm taking about! I just drew Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru, allowing me to draw another card!"

"Now I Tribute Speeder to Summon Koa'ki Meiru Rooklord!"

Speeder dissolved into a sphere of light, which exploded to become a giant blue robot with hammers for arms. (2800 ATK)

"My Rooklord has a special ability, allowing him to destroy up to 2 cards on my opponent's side of the field. Now which ones should I annihilate?"

"I know! Your face-downs! Now I will take out your Hunter with Rooklord! Rook Charge!"

Zeth nodded. "Even though it dealt no damage, it still attacked directly successfully and therefore your Speed Zone is destroyed. With that, I end my turn and let...(the insane b****) Sayla go." He glanced at the blue Dark Signer, hoping she wasn't too crazy to take her turn like a normal person. How did one get that riled up over duel without stakes? On the plus side, if she was ever in a Shadow Duel, her opponents were going to be in deep if they ever messed with her precious "trees".

Zeth frowned to himself, noting that nothing had changed on Promethea's field. He brought up an image of the Jurassic Circuit card and read the effect, shrugging when he realized he had overlooked the clause regarding its inability to be destroyed if she had a Dino. It didn't matter much, there was nothing else he could target with Unifrog's effect and his turn was over anyway.

"I Draw and Summon the Level 1 Tuner Monster Naturia Nerve and Tune him with Naturia Landols to Synchro Summon Blood Mephist." Sayla said darkly "I activate Blood Mephist's effect, inflicting 300 damage to one of my opponents for each card they control, and I choose Zeth." Her voice had completely changed, from overly happy to emotionless and somehow scary, especially given the transition between the two moods "Now, Blood Mephist, attack his Dupe Frog!"

((Response goes here))

((By anime rules, does that mean its effect or the fact it deals real damage?))

The energy orb from Blood Mephist struck Zeth's Runner and he grunted as his Lifepoints dropped to 1650, a pained look flashing across his face. Although startling and discomforting, it was still only a little more than what he experienced regularly in prison, when fights got out of hand. He did nothing as Dupe Frog shattered apart with a weak croak.

"When Dupe Frog is sent to the graveyard, I can add one "Frog" from my deck to my hand, except a Dupe Frog," he said, gritting his teeth and sliding a card from his deck. "I choose my Flip Flop Frog," he stated blandly.

((My turn?))

Promethea drew. (SPC: 3)

"Now I Normal Summon Jurak Auro in Attack Mode!"

A tiny dinosaur, still in its egg shell, ran out of the jungle on its hind legs, trying to keep pace with the Duel.

"Now I will Tune Auro with Herrera!"

Auro leapt onto Herrera, then spun around until its egg shell flew off, causing it to turn into a single ring, which Herrera walked into. Herrera became an outline with 6 stars, which then lined up inside of the ring.

"Synchro Summon! Jurak Giganot!"

The array crated a beam of light, out of which a fiery dinosaur stomped into existence. (2100 ATK -> 2400 ATK)

"My Giganot now has a special effect, letting him power up all Jurak monsters that I have by 200 times the number of Jurak monsters in my Graveyard, and since I have 3 Jurak monsters, my monsters gain 600 ATK!"

Several roars could be heard coming from the jungle, which Giganot and Tyranus replied to, causing their flames to rage. (2400 ATK -> 3000 ATK) (3100 ATK -> 3700 ATK)

"Now I activate a little card in my hand called Speed Spell - Trap Gap!"

Speed Spell - Trap Gap

Spell/Continuous

Activate if you have at least 3 Speed Counters. Neither player can activate Trap Cards during the Battle Phase. During your End Phase, if you don't have a face-down Trap Card on your side of the field, destroy this card.

"Now, I attack Unifrog with Giganot, and Mephist with Tyranus!"
