Matto quickly went to the Mages Guild, seeing as how he was told not to get distracted, he ran as fast as he could.

Matto was still running when a Strange Black Robed man Suddenly stopped him.

 

-Matto: Excuse me, I need to go through.

-????: You have been chosen, Young one.

-Matto: Wha...Chosen?

-????: Yes, A Change is coming. Take heed, You will not escape your Destiny. You shall be the Incarnate of the Dark One, the Lord of Darkness.

 

Matto was shock to hear this, he stood there, Frozen. The Stranger quickly disappear when his Teacher, Wumeek saw him.

 

-Wumeek: Hey, Matto.

 

Wumeek saw Matto, completely Frozen and scared.

 

-Wumeek: Matto, hm...Come on, lets go back to the Mages Guild.

 

Wumeek took Matto back within the Mages Guild, he was able to walk, but was still frozen. Wumeek told the Grand-Master about his state, Matto was unaware of this.

 

-Hummel: I'll bring him back, don't worry Wumeek.

 

Hummel used a Mystical Elf to Cure Matto's Conditions, he felt better and was unaware about his Ordealings.

 

-Matto: Hey, whats going on.

-Hummel: Wummek, we will not talk about what has happened.

The Grand-Master left the Chambers of Matto's Room, Wumeek was glad to see Matto back to himself.

Darkbane entered the Guild Hall, Vantus was heading to his Quarters.

Richard left the Grand-Master's Quarters and the Necromancers Guild to find a man in Vitharn Inn.

Richard took some Clothes from the Necromancers Guild and Disguised himself as a Traveler. than, he entered Vitharn Inn. Richard didn't see anyone besides the Inn Keeper.

 

-Richard: Excuse me, but is anyone Staying here Tonight?

-Hinoto: Um...Sorry, but Guests are strictly included as VIPs and the Inn's Policy not to show how many or who is Staying here.

-Richard: Listen, I'm from the Necromancers Guild and i want Answers!

The Inn keeper had shown Richard a list of People staying at Vitharn Inn. The Necromancers Guild within Vitharn were feared by People living there, they could not say no to a Member of the Necromancers Guild. For anyone who does not Cooperate with them, they will be Killed. that was the Law in Vitharn City.

Versutia continued to the Coliseum and entered its Gates within the Bloodworks. It was called Blood works for mainly two Reasons, Blood often slips down from the Above whenever a Fighter Dies or is badly Injured. the second Reason, Many People Train and often Injured. This is where people would Train, Sleep or Tell the Blademaster that he is ready to Fight.

Matto left the Mages Guild and decided to Explore the City of Valvec.

-Matto: Come forth, Trace the Shaman!

-Thief: What to play the tough guy, eh? I Summon Night Assailant.

-Thief Ringleader: Wipe the floor with this Kid.

-Thief: Right, Boss. Shadow Storm of Knives!

 

The Thief's Night Assailant disappeared. from above, over hundreds of Knives appeared, striking Matto's Trace the Shaman.

 

-Matto: Argh!...Hundred Bats Illusion!

-Thief Ringleader: Watch out, this kid has turned his Monster into a Wall of Bats.

-Thief: Don't you think I know that!

-Matto: Poisonous Fangs!

-Thief: There is no way you can find my Monster!

-Matto: Who ever said I'm targeting your Monster, attack him now!

 

Matto's Monster's Fangs quickly sink deep within the Thief's Neck, causing him to Die. The Thief Ringleader shouted "No!" and Summoned a 'Vampiric Leech'.

 

-Thief Ringleader: Your going to pay for that, kid. Vampiric Leech, Attack his Monster!

-Matto: Hundred Bats Illusion!

-Thief Ringleader: You little fool, i was aiming at you!

 

The Thief Ringleader's Vampiric Leech started closing in on Matto, if this attack succeeds, Matto would surely Die.

 

-Matto: Defense Spell!

-Thief Ringleader: What! Your full of surprises!

 

Matto's Trace the Shaman had cast a Barrier, protecting Matto from Vampiric Leech's Direct assault.

 

-Thief Ringleader: Too bad, i can see your already exhausted.

-Matto: *Panting* I'm not done yet, attack with Poisonous Fangs!

-Thief Ringleader: You've done this before, GO! Defense Revival! My monster is able to Regenerate itself from your Attack. therefore, your Monsters attack won't succeed!

 

Trace the Shaman's Attack did not succeed nor could it inflict any Damage, Matto sighed and hoped for the Worse.

 

-Thief Ringleader: Your not quite bad yourself kid, Now attack with Vampiric Fangs Slash! destroy him now!

 

The Vampiric Leech was started to get close to Matto, he quickly moved away from the attack. But Matto was surprised, it was only a trick. Vampiric Leech was actually attacking Trace the Shaman.

 

-Thief Ringleader: Your good, But I'm better!

 

Matto screamed in pain, this was the first time he had felt it. it was far more worse than he thought, and he was getting weaker by the second.

 

-Matto: I won't lose...

-Thief Ringleader: Save yourself, just give me your Gold and your Monster.

-Matto: NO!

-Thief Ringleader: Fine, you give me no choice, attack with Vampiric Fangs Slash!

 

Matto couldn't move, he felt weak, he could not move. just when things looked as he was going to lose, his Teacher, Wumeek, Saved him.

 

-Wumeek: Dark Magician Girl, attack with Dark Burning Attack!

 

Wumeek's Dark Magician Girl was far more stronger than Matto's and the Thief Ringleader's Monsters put together. It was over, the Thief Ringleader had vanished and was sent to his Death.

 

-Wumeek: Matto! Wake up...

 

(Memory Fades)

 

During the next Morning, Matto had woken up and felt he was back to himself. Wumeek was sleeping on Matto's Couch in his Quarters, while Matto was Sleeping on his Bed.

 

-Matto: Wumeek? why are you sleeping on my Couch.

-Wumeek: Matto, your OK!

 

Wumeek smiled to see Matto Alive, Matto didn't have a clue what has happened to him last night.

 

-Matto: Whats going on.

-Wumeek: Whats going on? your alive!

-Matto [Thinking]: Why is everyone acting Weird!

 

The Grand-Master of the Mages Guild, Hummel walked inside.

 

-Hummel: Ah, your back. We were quite worried there, Matto.

-Wumeek: Yes, especially me.

-Matto: Whats going on?! Why is everyone treating me as if i died last night and brought back to Life!

-Hummel: That's exactly what happened.

-Matto: What?

-Wumeek: Its True, you nearly died yesterday.

-Matto: ...

-Hummel: So, your going to have another Day-off for today.

-Matto: Sounds good to me, I wonder what should i do.

The Old man went outside from the Inn, Richard quietly followed him. Reman had reached the Gates to the Entrance of Vitharn and continued, Richard had noticed something strange.

-Reman: Cockroach Knight, Attack with Swifting Sword Strike!

 

Richard quickly reacted and Dodged his Monsters attack.

 

-Richard [Thinking]: How was be able to notice me Spying him.

-Reman: You got to try harder to Spy and defeat me.

-Richard: Alright old man, you caught me, how did you know.

-Reman: In the City, when you Disguised yourself as an Inn Keeper.

-Richard: But how...

-Reman: Hinoto, the Owner of that Inn is my Dearest Friend. We tell each other everything, he would of told me about how he hired a Replacement of an Inn Keeper while he Rests. But, he didn't, therefore i knew Hinoto was Dead or Injured.

-Richard: Well, it looks like you need a better Friend. It seems as though he Rat you out, he actually told me everything i needed to know. The Guest's List, your Room Number.

-Reman: He knows i can handle myself, he had to save himself.

-Richard: Hmph...Alright old man, lets do thi-...What!!

 

A second Cockroach Knight appeared from behind Richard, ready to slit his throat.

 

-Reman: I guess you finally noticed my Monster. while i was talking, i had Summoned another Knight and made it to sneak behind you.

-Richard [Thinking]: This is no Ordinary old man...He's got Experience better than mine.

-Reman: NOW! Kill him!

 

Richard Immediately Summoned his Prometheus, King of the Shadows and countered the attack, thus destroying the Cockroach Knight.

 

-Richard: You won't win that easily.

-Reman: So, your a Trainee of Vantus.

-Richard: Yes...

-Reman: Hmph...Perhaps we started on the wrong foot, my name is Reman.

-Richard: ...I already knew that, and what are you doing. you trying to stall me and try to assassinate me again?

-Reman: No...I'm trying to have a Civilized Conversation, is that too hard to ask?

The crowd Cheered as he waved at the Spectators.

 

-Announcer: Over to the Left, he's the Legend of the Three Master's and Feared as the Great Sensei! I Give you...The Legend Devourer!!

Armoured Zombie Quickly jumped into the Air and Clashed at Giant Germ, destroying it with one Strike.

-Darkbane: Hmph, your monster is Strong...

-Bandit Ringleader: Yes, he's my Prize Possession.

-Darkbane: I won't beable to destroy it...Therefore...Attack with Zombie Sword Attack!

Darkbane's Armoured Zombie wasn't attacking the Bandit Ringleader's Monster, it was attacking him. The Armoured Zombie Quickly Slain the Bandit, the rest of the group ran away.

The Parts of Malice the Doll of Demise Exploded, revealing a Giant Smoke of Poisonous Gas Surrounding Versutia and his Kurinoh Friends.

 

-Versutia: Everyone, don't Breath!

-L.P: Now i Summon Trap Master, to lay down some Traps around you! Multiple Trap Holes!

 

The Trap Master Placed Traps all over Versutia's Monsters, making it hard to move.

 

-Versutia: Fly up, its the only way to Survive!

 

The kuriboh Brothers flew up, evading the Wall of Poisonous smoke and the Traps that were laid around the battle Field.

 

-L.P: I'm actually enjoying this, all your Monsters will Suffer before I Eliminate them.

-Versutia: Attack his Malice the Doll of Demise!!!

 

The Kuriboh Brothers attacked and destroyed all the parts of Malice the Doll of Demise. the Smoke of Poisonous Gas stopped, after several seconds, it was completely gone.

 

-Versutia: Alright, as long as i don't move, I won't Trigger any Traps. and as long as you three stay up there, you won't be able to Trigger any traps...

-L.P: What if i force them to fly down, Trap Master! Attack with Multiple weapons of Barrage!!

 

The Trap Master attacked Kuribi, forcing it to fly downwards.

 

-Versutia: No! Alright, time to use its effect, its the only way. Activate Kuribi Negative Assault! it can cancel your attack, but my monster returns back to me.

-L.P: Your monster would probably of survived the Trap..

-Versutia: That may be...but i do not like seeing them Suffer, they helped me defend this Realm and all its people. Thus Destroying the Evil that once Plagued this City.

-L.P: I don't want to hear it!!! Attack with Multiple Weapons of Barrage!!

-Versutia: kuriboh, Evade the attack and counter it!

 

The Kuriboh dodged the attack and countered, Trap Master fell to the Ground, where it Triggered its own Traps and Destroying it.

-Wumeek: First, you must Analyze your opponent's Monster and its Abilities. When your facing a Weaker Monster, Do not think you got the Advantage. It has Abilities, powerful ones or weak, it does not Matter.

-Wumeek: Now then, notice how my Magician Wields a Staff. She can use it to her Advantage, for instance, I Summon a Monster that was Destroyed in Combat. But she has others Abilities, Dangerous Ones.

-Wumeek: Now than, hit me everything you got.

-Matto: Alright, i feel like Poisoning your Monster! Attack with Poisonous Fangs!!

Wumeek's Magician of Faith used its Staff to Summon a Barrier, Defending itself and Wumeek. When Trace the Shaman Collided with the Barrier, it inflicted itself with Poison.

 

-Matto: What!

-Wumeek: Hmph, your not hearing me right.

-Matto: How was she able to Summon a Barrier...

-Wumeek: You should be paying Attention, now attack with Magical Staff of Destruction!

 

The Magician of Faith used its Staff to Conjure up a Spell and blasted it at Trace the Shaman. a Smoke of Debris appeared around matto and his monster.

 

-Matto: No...my Trace the Shaman!...

-Wumeek: Its still alright, but you were quite Knowledge abouts it Poisonous Fangs. If your were to Move Trace the Shaman and try to Evade my attack, the Poison would spread even Quickly. Therefore, you took the Damage.

-Matto: ATTACK WITH CLOUD OF JUDGEMENT!!!

-Wumeek: What?!?

 

Matto's Trace the Shaman attacked the Magician of Faith, destroying her without a even Blocking the attack or activating its effect.

 

-Wumeek: Whats going on...

-Matto: My monster is Immune to its own Poison, therefore i just made it look like it was Poisoned.

-Wumeek: You mean you just waited for the right moment to Strike at my Monster?

-Matto: Yes, if i were to counterattack while you were attacking Trace the Shaman, you would of activated its effect, Staff of Defense. Therefore my attack would'nt succeed.

-Wumeek: Your quite Good.

-Matto: Thanks, i was trained by the best.

-Wumeek: Thats right.

-Matto: I was talking about the Grand-Master, Hummel.

-Wumeek: ...Your good, but I'm still Superior. Now watch and Learn Matto!

 

Wumeek's Magician of faith Suddenly appeared from behind Trace the Shaman, Matto was Surprised that she was able to Survive the attack.

 

-Wumeek: Attack with Magical Staff of Destruction!

 

Magician of Faith Attacked Trace the Shaman, nearly destroying it. Matto was still surprised, how was he able to Summon his Monster.

 

-Wumeek: You look surprised, let me guess, your wondering how did my Monster managed to escape unharmed.

-Matto: Yes, tell me whats going on!...

-Wumeek: When your Monster was 'Poisoned', and a Smoke appeared around you and your monster. during that time, i used her other effect to Duplicate her self and made the really Magician of Faith disappear for a while until i could attack.

-Matto: You planned all this...

-Wumeek: Yes, i knew your monster was unaffected by its own Poison, i DID train you after all.

-Matto: ...

-Wumeek: Now than, thats enough for the battle...now to teach you some new moves for your Monster.

-Matto: but what was the point in all that battle...

-Wumeek: The point was, never underestimate weak Monsters.

-Reman: Thank you Richard Keane.

 

The old man smiled and 'Dismissed' his Monsters, Richard did the same thing.

 

-Reman: It won't work if we battle him head on, he has some strange magic that protects him.

-Richard: Alright, than what do you Suggest.

-Reman: I'll have to call him out from the Guild, I'll keep him distracted long enough for you to slay him from behind. but i will give you a Signal once he lets his guard down.

-Richard: Alright, sounds simple.

-Reman: Do not underestimate him at all times, keep your Guard up whenever you think he has his Guard down. He was the most Potential and most dangerous Student during the time i was Grand-Master.

-Richard: Alright, i got it.

-Reman: Remember, in his City, he has the Advantage.

 

Richard Nodded and followed Reman towards the City, where they need to Kill him for Reman's Revenge. they had reached the City Gates, Reman quietly whispered to Richard.

 

-Reman: Alright, I'll have to go inside alone. you must find a spot where you can see us both.

-Richard: I think the Roof tops are better to spot both of you.

-Reman: Don't even think for a second that your not being spied yourself, Vantus has many Subordinates that will defend or die for him.

Richard Nodded and climbed the City Walls, Reman entered the City and walked towards the Necromancers Guild Hall. Richard had reached the top and jumped unto a roof, and hid. He could see Reman calling out Vantus from the Guild.

 

-Reman: VANTUS!!! Come Out And Face Me!!!

 

Vantus went outside from the Guild Hall and looed at Reman.

 

-Vantus: Ah, Reman. Shouldn't you be dead by now, and where is Richard. did you kill him too, like my Son?

 

Richard was shock to hear that, could Reman really kill his Grandson? or was Vantus trying to trick Richard.

 

-Reman: Quit talking nonsense. you kill my Grandson, your only Son.

-Vantus: I didn't kill him, you killed him!

-Reman: Blaming me, for Killing your son. thats...tha-...

-Vantus: Whats wrong old man, feeling tired?

 

Vantus laughed as Reman feel to the ground.

-Wumeek: Oh, your Monsters Abilities.

-Matto: ...

-Wumeek: Monsters have many Abilities. Paralysis, able to Paralyze your Opponent's Monster for a few seconds. This will give you the chance to Assault your Opponent's Monster or even your Opponent when he isn't well defended. This only works for Spellcasters, Fiends and perhaps Insect Type monsters.

-Matto: But I already have that Ability, Poisonous Fangs?

-Wumeek: True, but I'm only Explaining the Effects and Damages dealt to your Opponent's Monster. Anyways, Direct Assault is only good if your monster is strong enough to injure or destroy your Opponent's Monster. This works for every type of Monsters, but Warriors, Beast-Warriors and Dinosaurs are the best to use this Ability.

-Matto: Alright, but I don't want to Learn this Stuff. I want to learn the 'other' Ability you mentioned, where Trace the Shaman can deal real Damage...or something.

-Wumeek: Alright, I'll teach you how to learn this Ability.

 

Wumeek released a deep Sigh and continue to Train Matto. after hours of intense Training, Matto was getting rather tired.

 

-Matto: I'll take a 5 minute Rest please, you've been training me for non stop now.

-Wumeek: ...Fine, a minute's rest wouldn't hurt, now would it. back in my Day, We've trained for a whole Day, without Rest.

-Matto: ...

-Wumeek: Alright, back to Training.

-Matto: What, that was only 5 seconds!!

-Wumeek: Begin!

Matto's Training continued once again. Wumeek wasn't easy on him, he taught him for another Several Hours.

Matto's Trace the Shaman had use its Ability to Destroy the Magical Barrier.

 

-Wumeek: Thats perfect, with this new Ability. you can Destroy any Magic that your Opponent's Monster casts either a Trap or a Spell to itself or to your Monster. This Ability is very helpful during Battles, but in exchange, it will drain some of your health.

-Matto: Your telling me that Now?

 

Matto fell to the ground, Wumeek laughed.

-Darkbane: I cannot say, He must read it right away and he will see it who had sent it to him.

Darkbane entered the Necromancers Guild to receive payment from his Task. he entered the Grand-Master's Office and was told by Vantus to take a seat.

 

-Vantus: So, you've what you were told...

-Darkbane: Yes...

-Vantus: Excellent, now here is your Reward.

-Vantus: That doesn't really matter, right now i have another Mission for you. Perhaps a more Challenging one.
