Mandragora Scream on Tour with The 69 Eyes

^I want to see them in March if I find someone who goes with me, not really for The 69 Eyes but more because of Mandragora.:D

 

Mandragora is a Gothic/Atmospheric Metal band that turned more Darkwave on their latest album. It's by no means a great ultra-awesome BR00TAL band, I'd say it's on the verge between Rock and Metal but it's not like most of the others Gothic Metal bands that are all the same...^^ I really love Morgan's style, they have a pretty good thing going there and I'd like to see them live...

Don't look at their last album Vulturna.T_T Unless you're into Darkwave but don't expect something like Fairy Tales from Hell's Caves or Madhouse.

 

Oh well, discuss Mandragora Scream and the Helsinki Vampires. Anyone seen them?

Pretty good band, Mandragora Scream. Even though it's really soft, I like the style.

 

69 Eyes is okay. Aren't they from Finland?

Yeah it's not Death or Black Metal but more like...yeah you know female Metal.=] I don't know many female-dominated bands other than Arch Enemy, Astarte and Galhammer that do heavy stuff, most tend to stay within Symphonic/Gothic/Folk Metal borders. But at least Morgan sounds different than most Gothic Metal singers, she's quite obviously a smoker but it's a good thing. SEE WHAT SMOKING CAN DO?=D Nah I just like her style.xD

 

Yeah 69 Eyes are the Helsinki Vampires. Better Goth Rock than most of what you'll find in that style...

 

Damn they're the ONLY bands I know that can keep the vampire thematic without looking clichéd and overdone!
