So, what better way to come back than with a new set? Today we're looking at a concept that I think has a considerable amount of merit; multi-elemental cards. Ignoring the thoughts of "Oh gods so much Element Burst" for a moment, let me continue a bit further. The point of this theme is going to be exploration and exploitation of the concepts that each of the four 'natural' elements embodies; these cards ARE NOT meant to be run all in one deck, but if someone figures out a way to do it that WORKS then by all means go ahead and share it. The trick to these cards is that they do NOT have a high-power supermonster anywhere in the Deck that they can pull out and rely on. Instead . . . 10 different Synchros, 5 each of Lv6 and 5 of Lv7, that each behave a little differently based on which dual-elemental is required to Synchro them. (Extra note: This archetype has no Tuners in it at all; they need an outside Tuner to be spliced in to do the job.) Feel free to weigh in on the cards, propose OCG fixes if you think they're needed, ask questions if there's something you don't get, and if you're crazy enough to come up with a decklist for some or all of them feel free to post it. ^_^ With that in mind, here we go with the upload! Rainstorm TyrantLv6 - DARK - Aqua/Synchro/Effect[1 Tuner] + [1 WATER and WIND non-tuner monster]atk2400 def1000 This card's attribute is also treated as WATER and WIND while it is face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. When this card is Synchro Summoned, return up to 3 WATER and WIND monsters from your Graveyard to the bottom of your Deck, and return an equal number of cards on your opponent's side of the field to the top of their Deck. Brimstone TyrantLv6 - DRK - Rock/Synchro/Effect[1 Tuner] + [1 EARTH and FIRE non-Tuner monster]atk2400 def1000 This card's Attribute is also treated as EARTH and FIRE while it is face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. When this card is Synchro Summoned, discard any number of EARTH and FIRE monsters from your hand. Deal 300 damage to your opponent for each card you discarded. Corrosive Tyrant (FIR+WTR)Lv6 - DRK - Aqua/Synchro/Effect[1 Tuner] + [1 FIRE and WATER non-Tuner monster]atk2400 def1000 This card's attribute is also treated as FIRE and WATER while it is face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. When this card is Synchro Summoned, remove from play up to 5 FIRE and WATER monsters each from your Graveyard. While you control this face-up monster, your opponent's face-up monsters lose 100 ATK for each WATER monster removed, and when they are destroyed by battle with a FIRE or WATER monster you control your opponent takes 100 damage for each FIRE monster removed, by this card's effect. Explosive Tyrant (FIR+WND)Lv6 - DRK - Pyro/Synchro/Effect[1 Tuner] + [1 FIRE and WIND non-Tuner monster]atk2400 def1000 This card's Attribute is also treated as FIRE and WIND while it is face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. When this card is Synchro Summoned, return all other cards on the field to their owners' hand(s).
