Pokemon - Prophecy of the Chosen (Accepting by PM/Started)

Kira pouted a little, under the impression Aero was scolding her. However, she really didn't want to tangle with the Onix anyway and Aero picking her up and returning to the berry bush was...surprising to say the least. She kind of wished he'd give her more warning before randomly picking her up and flying, but at the same kind she didn't really mind the contact. It was friendly and non-threatening and maybe something she could get used to.

 

"Thanks," she mumbled, still pouting.

[Mr. Hyde]

Aero laughed. "Hahaha! No problemo Kira!" He spread his wings. "I like flying...or gliding. Whichever you prefer i guess. hahaha. I'm kind of getting the hang of it to. And it's really fun." He then noticed her pouting. It was harshing his mello. "Hey...I'm sorry if you wanted to fight..." he said with crossing his arms.

With only a moment's of hesitation, Kira sighed. "No, that's not it. I didn't want to fight." She paused for a few seconds, thinking of something to say to explain what was bugging her at the moment. She just didn't like being scolded. It made her feel bad, as if she had done something wrong when she hadn't done anything on purpose. At the same time, she knew Aero was just looking out for her, which she didn't really mind. It was hard to explain and she didn't have much experience with explaining such things. Finally, she shook her head. "It's nothing, I'm fine. Thanks," she said, cheering up again. But what if Aero had gotten hurt in the fight and she had stayed where she was? He was pretty much her first friend since coming into the outdoors. Looking out for her was sweet and all, but doing so at great risk was...maybe a bit stupid.

[Mr. Hyde]

Aero nodded. "Good...and sorry if i yelled at you...i just didn't want you hurt. If anything had happened to me, i'm pretty sure Scarlet would take out those pokemon before they could touch me. She's pretty crazy. I guess that's where she gets all of her strength. HAHAH!" Aero then shook his claws laughing. His claws rattled. He remembered he had stored Sitrus Berries in them. He opened his claw gently and ate one of the many berries. It healed him completely from the minor injuries he had fighting that Sableye.

Kira smiled. "It's okay, I know you were just looking out for me," she assured him. She plucked a few more berries from the bush and ate them thoughtfully, savoring the flavor. Once her hunger was satisfied, she stretched, sneaking a glance towards the scene where the fighting was. "Maybe we should go somewhere else if there's fighting going on," she suggested, a flicker of worry resurfacing. What if there were more hostile Pokemon that would attack them? She loved the grassy area, but their present location wasn't the best place to linger in.

[Mr. Hyde]

"I KNOW THE PERFECT PLACE!" Aero said almost choking on a berry he was eating. He grabbed Kira and placed her on his back. He then jumped into the air and flew off as soon as he caught a breeze. He flew until he saw a very ominous place close by. "I don't know the name of this place, but it's got a whole bunch of nice Ghost-Type pokemon in it." he said as they landed. Gastlys, Duskull, and other numerous Ghost-Type pokemon inhabited this dark place. "Is this okay for you...we can go somewhere else if you like?"

Kira nearly had a heart attack when Aero made a triumphant call and picked her up, placing her on his back. The fright only intensified when he started flying. She wrapped her forelegs tightly around him to keep from slipping off and closed her eyes tightly, her body tensing up. He REALLY needed to give better warning than that. The wind blowing in her face didn't feel bad, but the sensation of going up and down terrified her and made her stomach clench. She really hoped she wasn't going to throw up; that would be just plain unpleasant for them both.

 

After what felt like hours, she felt Aero descend and held on tighter, her eyes still shut tight. She felt him land and quickly hopped to the ground, opening her eyes and looking around in alarm. The entire area was dark and eerie and, as Aero informed her, there were plenty of eerie looking Pokemon around. At the same time, Kira was NOT up to flying again for a while, so it would have to do.

 

"Um...it's f-fine," she said, choking back a stammer. If the ghosts were nice and not going to kill her, it'd be fine.

[Mr. Hyde]

A duskull, the one who had previously met Aero, came towards them. "Aaaah. I see you have returned to our land. Couldn't help your self could you. hahaha." The Duskull had a weird laugh. Aero would think that Ghost Pokemon never laughed. Maybe that's why...he thought.

"Nope. This place is cool. I've liked it since i landed here the first day i can remember." The duskull laughed again.

"I can't believe you remember me."

"Of course i do. You are like...one of my friends." He pointed towards Kira. "That's Kira, she's an Eevee i met. She's my 1st friend." Duskull nodded.

"Nice to meet you Kira. You're lucky you're a normal type. Some folks around here don't take to kindly to non-creepy looking pokemon. Aero's fine...you on the other hand are a small and cute pokemon...hahahaha!" Aero laughed with him. He opened his claw and gave Duskull a few Sitrus Berries.

"Thanks Duskull. For all the help and everything." Duskull sighed.

"No problem." He put the Berries in his empty eye hole to keep stored. "I'd be happy to travel with you both though. I could be an escort." Aero nodded.

Kira fidgeted as Aero and the Duskull talked to each other. She was a little unnerved by the eerie ghost creature, but Aero seemed to be on good terms with it, so maybe it wasn't a bad thing. Of course, the laugh was creepy, especially after the comment about some creatures being against her because she was "cute". Normally she probably would have blushed at the comment, but it didn't seem like much of a compliment, just an acknowledgement that she wasn't eerie looking.

[Mr. Hyde]

"Well then...were are we off to?" the Duskull asked curiously.

"I don't know. We're kind of just wandering right now." Aero said smiling to Kira.

"Well if you're just exploring, you must visit the Dark Castle."

"Dark Castle?" Aero asked.

"It's the center of this land. Each type of land has a certain tower i believe. Each having the strongest Type of pokemon their. Our king happens to be a Dusknoir."

"Well..What do you think Kira?"

Kira blinked, feeling a little hesitant. At the same time, she was very curious. "All right, I guess," she said, managing a small smile. It was worth looking into, as something to do. She still prayed that she wasn't going to be in any danger, but again, Aero seemed to trust the Duskull's advice and she sort of trusted Aero's judgment, except when he felt compelled to pick her up and fly without warning, which so far was every twenty minutes or so.

[Mr. Hyde]

Duskull nodded. "Good, then let us be off." he said turning around and hovering in the direction of the tower. Aero jumped off the ground and followed slowly behind.

"Soooo what's up with this place?" Aero asked. "It's all dark and gloomy." Duskull gave him a confused look.

"Well we aren't that happy looking are we. We like our darkness. If it was sunlight, it would be just plain torture. Second, we don't like all the happy and awesome things that others might like. We're just...gloomy." the Duskull laughed.

"So what's your name?" Aero asked.

"My name...is Gerund."

"Like the phrase?"

"Huh?"

"Nevermind..."

Kira followed the two, sticking as close to Aero as possible. She kept an energetic swish to her tail and a smile on her face, but inside she was worried. From the Duskull's comments, she was starting to worry that her usual optimistic outlook was going to offend the ghosts and result in them getting angry and, eep, maybe hurting her or Aero. She didn't want that, but it felt horrible to act less happy than she was feeling.

[Mr. Hyde]

Gerund finally pointed into the distance. A spiraled tower covered in a purple mist was not to far away. "We are nearing the Dark Tower. Hopefully we won't run into any troubl...." Gerund stopped in his tracks. Aero went to go look what was wrong. Gerund was asleep.

"HYPNOSIS!!!" Aero yelped. "He fell asleep because of Hypnosis! We've got to get out of her.." was all that Aero could say until he to, fell asleep. He plummeted into the ground.

"goood...." a mysterious voice said. "I didn't want to hurt those two...ITS YOU I WANT!" The voice said towards Eevee.

Kira's heart sank. The escort falling asleep was never a good sign, nor was Aero freaking out before following suit. Her blood ran cold at the sound of the voice and her heart pounded fiercely in her chest. "Wha-?" she gasped, looking around frantically for some sign of the speaker. "What do you want?" she asked, her fur bristling in a mixture of fear and anger. "Who's there?"

[Mr. Hyde]

"I want you to leave this place...and let lord Dusknoir help you enter the spirit world!" The voice shouted. A rock not to far away started to glow until it shone so bright, Kira couldn't see. When the flash settled down, a Spiritomb was sitting in front of Kira. "Why have you come to our land. Cute and happy pokemon were never meant to tap their feet on our land! And for that....YOU SHALL PAY!!!!" The Spiritomb said as it shot a Dark Pulse towards Eevee.

OoC: A big thanks to Gliscor for updating me on what's gone on so far.

 

IC: Feeling unusually energetic now, Ceac'e felt compeled to do somthing, these rare moments of energy had become increasingly common lately. Still, for the Slackoth, an unusual amount of energy doesn't mean a thing.

"Chaos... Let's do somthing, find someone to battle, somthing like that." She said half-heartedly, perhaps a battle would be too much activity but it was worth a shot. She took up another couple of berries, a few of each kind, to eat on the way.

[Guest Tainted Black]

Chaos grunted. He thought, before standing up. "Alright. We'll go at your pace." The Absol said, walking up next to Ceac'e. He put his head down and bit a berry, allowing the nectar to flow down his chin as he ate it. The Pecha berry was still his favorite. He ate a couple more quickly and prepared to go. He thought as they walked, completely forgetting about his scar, for once.

Kira whined as the spiral of black energy hit her, knocking her over. Her body burned where the attack had hit her, and her heart pounded fearfully in her chest. "Stop!" she begged, struggling to stand up. Why was she being attacked? It wasn't her fault she was an Eevee, was it? It wasn't fair to target her when she hadn't done anything. She weakly kicked up some dirt at the Spiritomb, but part of her knew it wouldn't do any good.

[Mr. Hyde]

Spiritomb laughed at the weak attempt to attack him. "GRAAAHHAHAHHA!!!" It laughed wickedly. "It will be so simple to wipe you out! GRAHAHAHAH!" Spiritomb launched another Dark Pulse towards Kira. Another Flash blinded both pokemon. A hand stopped the Dark Pulse and rebounded it towards the Spiritomb. Spiritomb was blown back by it's own attack. The flash settled as Dusknoir was standing between the two. He looked sympatheticly towards Kira. "Are you alright child?" it asked with a caring tone.

Kira cringed from the flash, but then blinked around, aware that she wasn't hit by the last attack. It took her a second to realize there was a Dusknoir near her and she instinctively cringed again. "Um...I think so," she said warily, no longer sure whether to even try trusting the ghost. Sure, he didn't seem mean, but who knows how long that was going to last? "Who are you?" Kira asked, shaking like a leaf.

[Mr. Hyde]

"My name is Dusknoir. I am King of this land and my home would be that tower in the distance. Dark tower to be exact." Dusknoir waved it's hand over Gerund and Aero. Both woke up. Aero was suprised by Dusknoir. He wasn't at all what he expected. He looked kind of chubby.

"Cool! King Dusknoir! I'm guessing you saved us." Aero said greeting him. "My name's Aero." Dusknoir nodded.

"That's a nice name. I believe I've heard it before...oh well." He looked towards Kira. "You're lucky she was still awake. She was the one who alerted me. I felt her fear and i came running. That Spiritomb is a menace and is highly territorial. No use putting him in jail since he could just phase through the bars." Dusknoir said laughing. Duskull and Aero laughed as well.

Still quivering violently, Kira held on to Aero, hoping that even if he didn't manage to calm her down, that being near him would be sufficient to help her relax in a few minutes. Them joking about not being able to do anything about her assailant was...not very helpful. She was glad the Dusknoir had saved her, but being alive and relatively unhurt wasn't enough of a consolation after the attack to soothe her jitters.

[Mr. Hyde]

Aero looked at the jittering Kira. "Jeez...Are you okay?" he said placing his claw on her forehead. He gave her a Sitrus Berry just incase. "I'm sorry i wasn't there to protect you...." he said dissapointed. Dusknoir grunted.

"It's all in the past now. Spiritomb will not do anything while i'm around. Now let's get a move on." Aero and Gerund nodded. Aero turned towards Kira. "Wanna lift?" he asked.

Kira continued to cling to Aero, but shook her head rapidly at the offer of a lift. She did NOT want to be picked up or go flying right now. She'd rather walk, even if it took longer to get where they were trying to go. She wasn't upset that he hadn't been able to 'protect her', especially since she always thought she could take care of herself ever since being released, but even so, the Spiritomb had scared her. She always thought that being nice to people would pay off and make her liked, but that wasn't the case.
