Why would you get 1 when 2 is out in about a week.

 

The more I think about the games that I want to play the longer the list gets. This is on that list. I really need a better PC.

Bioshock was such an amazing game. Weird? Yes. So weird that it sucks? No. The plot line had great interaction with the gameplay (Speaking mainly on the usage of Adam). I can't wait for the second.

Anyway can't get the game to work on Vista for the life of me.

That is most likely the reason. However that brings up another point as to why he didn't play it when it first came out. I can think of a few reason though, so that doesn't really need to be answered.

 

Also does any one know if you would have needed to play Bio Shock to understand this game. I know for Mass effect it isn't a must, but having done so helps out a lot.

It does help, like the beginnings of Rapture and so forth (just like Mass Effect), but is still quite understandable without it (that is, if you know what a Big Daddy and Little Sister is).
