fenrir
I believe the new Batman movie is going to be released in 2011. Johnny Depp hasn't officially been confirmed to be in the movie' date=' but he probably will be. The main villain of the movie is likely going to be the Riddler. (Who would like be played by Johnny Depp.) Whether or not the Joker returns in the movie, I have no clue. But if he does, they should include Harley Quinn.[/quote'] Riddler was confirmed I think. Ether that or I'm insane. In all seriousness, I don't think they could pick up Joker again, especially since Heath Ledger died and what not. Since I'm pretty sure most people would 'WTFTHISMOVIESUCKS'. Or something along those lines. But yeah, they need Harley Quinn.

fenrir
For what the saga for the Joker is over with time for something new Then why the hell are they going with Riddler? The best they could do with Riddler is make the whole movie a giant chase. I'd rather them introduce Clayface, or Man-Bat, and at least makes things a tad more interesting. Poseidon©
UNRELIABLE SOURCE IS UNRELIABLE. Christoper Nolan is directing it, and DEPP IS NOT GOING TO PLAY IN THE MOVIE. Source? IGN.

Flame Dragon
Your shitting me and everyone else in this thread. And Depp for Batman? The hell where you think when making up this thread?!I'm not sure if you mean Depp to play Batman or to just be in the movie. For playing Batman' date=' look at other Batman we've had. Mostly from the last 2 movie in the 89 set. If it's for being in the movie in general, again look at past actors that have been in batman. For what the saga for the Joker is over with time for something new Then why the hell are they going with Riddler? The best they could do with Riddler is make the whole movie a giant chase. I'd rather them introduce Clayface' date=' or Man-Bat, and at least makes things a tad more interesting.[/quote']A giant chase with Riddler might not be bad. It's work in the animated Batman, so it should work if done right. Clayface and Man-Bat are B or C level villians. They aren't big name so if they're going to make a movie they're going to use big name villians, or at least bigger names then those 2. Now for some notes on the movie1) Joker will not be in the movie. It is same to assume this because no villain has been reused in any recent Batman movie. The fact that it won't be Heath Ledger playing the part if it were to be used only makes this more true 2) Nolan is only LIKELY to direct. He will only do so if he sees a way to continue the story. 3) Riddler is one of the names that have been thrown around as being the next villian. Depp is one of the people who has been thought of as being a good actor for the part, and before any one says anything about that Jim Carrey played him the last time. However it has been said that he will not be given the role my Michael Caine 4) Catwomen and Penguin are two other people that might be in the movie. However Penguin is not that likely since he could be hard to work into the movie. 5) The movie will not be out for at least another year, likely two years. As such their is no point to talk about this since we know nothing about it. Lock
