Final Fantasy Revolution
[spoiler=Plot]Duel Monsters...a game played in ancient times with real monsters...a game that evolved into a new aged card game...and now the cards themselves will destroy us all. It was 2005 The game of Duel Monsters had been growing as a card game for years now, but something has happened...something different. Certain duelists have found that can bring a certain card's effects into real life! One card out of the hundreds they own has bound to their soul and can be activated by them in real time. These effects were first discovered by a small boy only the age of eight, he was being bullied at school and wanted it stopped. He held his Jinzo card tightly to his chest and suddenly he came out and stopped all the bullies for him. Now, five years late(2010), the world is in ruins thanks to the new developments in "Soul Cards" as they call it. Two groups have spawned to find these people who have "Soul Cards", The Organization and The Company. The Organization focuses on finding these people and using there powers to build a new world, a better world. The Company focuses on gathering all these people and destroying them at all costs. So will you fight for a new world by using powers or by not using powers? Or will you choose a life of neutrality to possibly be scooped up by one of these groups at a later date?Duel Monsters...a game played in ancient times with real monsters...a game that evolved into a new aged card game...and now the cards themselves will destroy us all. When you defeat someone you obtain their soul card as well.2. Certain cards are obviously OP so be reasonable here and use your own judgement on what's fair.3. This isn't like any other Yu-Gi-Oh based game, instead of having a deck you only have one card in your control but you can gain others by defeating people. Kyro was born in a big city with his loving parents, Sarah and Michael Minoki. Kyro and Michael would always walk around the city and look through the toy stores and game shops. When he saw the game of Duel Monsters it always felt to him that the cards were calling to him somehow, reaching out to his soul on a personal level. Kyro, unexpectedly, had no love for the card game and didn't even play it they often. But one day, all of that changed. It was a Saturday afternoon and Kyro was walking through the mall and saw some kids playing the game and invited him to play. Kyro thought why not, that he hadn't played in a long time and wouldn't mind a quick game. Kyro won the game and the child got angry throwing a milkshake at Kyro. Kyro held up his hands to stop it, with some cards in his hand and the milkshake suddenly flew back at the child. When Kyro looked at the cards in his hand, the Magic Cylinder was glowing red at him...~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ [spoiler=Neutral]Name: BlackAge: 25Gender: MaleSoul Card: Wicked Breaking Flamberge BaouSide: Neutral and Evil. One time, in class, he was arguing the point of Humanity was lost, and his temper got the best of him. The Baou in his deck activated and possessed him, to a point. It unleashed his innermost desire. He killed everyone in his class. At this he was shocked, but he just laughed. He had power, and he would use it. Thus, Black was born.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Name: Edward SedgewickAge: 17 (Because only adults or old teens can play children's card games.)Gender: MSoul Card: Mirror Force (Once per encounter, and causes a slight sickness equal to just waking up.)Side: NuetralAppearance: A short young man with black, shaggy hair. He makes sure that everyone in the world stays away from him, fears him, because he fears them. He is twisted, insane, and wants everyone to know it. He is cold, alone, and afraid, because the world has abandoned him. Not like teenage drama because he failed a test, or lost a freaking football game, everything has gone wrong.Bio: Edward lived a normal, middle class life, until his parents were murdered at work simultaneously. He nor his parents had anyone to take care of him, and he was sent to a orphanage. 3 days after he was in the orphanage, he went outside for a walk, and came back with the whole place burnt down. He went to another orphanage, but a pair of rich parents wanted a child to live here, despite the orphanage being full. So they bribed the orphanage to have some random child be taken out to make room for the new child. Edward was randomly chosen. He attempted to live a "child on the streets" role, but was hurt by others and survived on others pity. He eventually learned street smarts, and should've been amazing at surviving on the streets, but for some reason wasn't. He was just the most unlucky kid in the world, and to this day, he remains so.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ [spoiler=The Organization]None as of yet. Final Fantasy Revolution
Come now, don't you think Dark Hole is a tad unfair? Be reasonable buddy, don't make me have to put a restricted cards list up. That'd be horrible lol. Otherwise accepted.
