welcome to "what would you do in this duel" or "WWYDITD"

 

if you had 500 life points you opponent 1000, your opponent has only 1 card on their side of the fielda vanilla. you have 1 card left .

it is called aftershock, its effect it to, the opponent takes 1000 life points damage for every normal monster on their side of the field you take damage equal to half the damage your opponent took....

would you use that card and the outcome is a draw or do you surrender and lose?

 

i would use the card...

p.s. the card isnt real, i mightmake a card like that...

Frankly, from my understandings of YGO rules, it wouldn't be a draw, as your opponent would lose first, the effect not being instantaneous. Chronology:

 

1 activate this card

2 number how many vanillas your opponent has

3 inflict 1000 damage to your opponent

4 split second after the damage is dealt, 2 instantaneous things happen:

5.1 your opponent loses

5.2 you calculate how much damage should you take

6 you lose the duel

 

BUT, if your opponent loses, the duel is instantly over, so you never get to lose yourself.

Well first, I'd draw, topdeck JD, have 4 Lightsworn's in my Graveyard, and win the game.

When I draw at the begining of the turn, I'd draw pot of averice.

I'd use pot of averice and draw 2 cards (wich happen to be Diamond Dude and and cup of ace ;))

then, I'd use DD and happen to get a trade in (Whose cost doesn't activate in this case ;)) to draw 2 exodia pices. then use cup of ace and get heads. 1 exodia piece, 1 DD.

Use DD, another trade in, get 2 exodia exodia pices, and scream at the top of my lungs,

EXODIA, OBLITERATE!!!

I would say lol and draw a card, it is Destiny Draw the other cards in my hand are 3 pieces of Exodia I have 2 cards left in my Deck use Destiny Draw I win.
