Revenge of Cronus [ADV / started / Accepting by PM]

CHarlotte woke up groggily. "Go back to sleep." She moaned. "It's only 1 AM." She continued before pulling her covers over her head. Royke was outside, awake now. He held his spear and looked around. He threw the spear at a small bird sitting on a tree. Bullseye. It peirced right through the brids heart. Royke jumped into the water and began to practice fighting. Despite the darkness he could see clearly. Being Ares's son does have it's benefits. He thought.

Xin looked at his Halberd.

"Whats with these new markings."

The Halberd and Ancient Greek writing for "FIRE CONJURAR"

Xin's halberd glowed, dark Silver.

"Wow."

Xin looked around the Cabins. He saw Royke outside, fightning in the water.

"Hay Royke, want some Deer? Its Cooked and Cut."

[Kaisu]

"Sure." Royke said happily and he jumped out and bit into some. "God, I was hungy." He said with his mouth full. Royke's eyes were darting around the place. "You know, does the mist protect us from machines? Like cameras, bugs, sattelite imagary, that kind of stuff?" He asked, his weapon(Any ideas for a name?) strapped to his neck. "I could do for a more heroic look." He laughed. He was wearing an extremely ripped black shirt, with a cut belt and jeans that were ripped in half with several holes to accompanie them. Suddenly his clothes reformed with extras. He now had a brown cape, a leather belt with several pouches and a place for his sword, a small medical pack with herbs, a mettalic white shirt, black trousers that had nothing special about them, apart from being God-Made, and some black boots with metal soles and lining. "Well that was.. Awesome."

"Well Royke, to answer your question, Satalites arent allowed to look over this side of the Country. If they do, the gods will Smite them."

Xin grabbed his Halberd. Thinking of flames.

His Halberd set on fire. He made a small fire-place doing this. He then dis-ignited the axe putting it next to him.

"Think were gonna survive this war?"

[Kaisu]

"To be honest, no, I don't think we will." Royke admitted. "Either we get creamed by Cronus's army, or we die fighting Cronus. Even the Gods combined can't defeat Cronus. He's stronger this time, that's why Zeus, Ares, Posiedon, and all the rest need our help. I think we're gonna die, but I'm not going to get murdered in my bed. Never. I'm Ares's son, it would be a disgrace." Royke continued. "Either way, at least half of us are going to die." He finished, deep in thought. His Avenger was in his hands, and Royke was looking at it, his eyes glistening.

 

"I know, I'm a good fighter, and truth be told, I like a bloody fight. But this.. Is different."

Jecht looked at the trident and wondered how he was going to fight with it. Suddenly the three points started to merge towards the center and the trident shortened and the blade lengthened. It made merged into a sword. He wondered if he was ever sice to be amazed by the world of the gods. He decided no, that he would always be surprised but feared he wouldn't live to see all the wonders. Jecht wasn't going to take this fight laying down, so he jumped up and walked outside into the darkness. It took a few minutes but his eyes eventually became acoustomed to the lack of light.

 

He saw a firelight and wwalked over to fire and found Royke and Xin. "Anyone up to some training?" He asked staring at them determined to become stronger and train harder.

((KaiNine Kaisu PMed me with the idea for the next challenge! Basically, right now it's 1 AM and all of you demigods wake up to see that Marumi, Kaisu, and Brittney have disappeared. You have to find them, then go through an army, and find them.))

 

IC: Marumi was awoken by somebody grabbing her in the middle of the night. They covered her mouth, as only her confused muffles were heard. Suddenly, she realized that this was most likely the Gods next challenge. Or, it was Cronus trying to kidnap some demigods. Marumi thought it was best to not wake up the other demigods. She heard others being smuggled out of their beds, and decided that this was the Gods next challenge for the demigods. Though she knew this, she still struggled against the thing that was kidnapping her. Suddenly, she saw a gas fill up the room, and she was asleep, again...

OoC:Pegusas aren't you supposed to be controling Thomas?

 

IC:Jecht heard seomthing. Footsteps. "Shhh!" He hissed at Royke and Xin who were talking. "C'mon!' He wishpered and ran into the cabin. He saw three beds empty and immediatly notived that Briteny, Kasiu, and Marumi were gone."Could they have just gone out for a midnight stroll?" He said to himself but he knew that didn't happen and that there was a night challenge and not too long before sunrise. "What kind of sick challenge is this?" Jecht asked himself twirling his new sword. "I guess thats three warriors that will have to act without." He said walking outside and telling Royke and Xin what he found.

~Thomas~

Thomas heard footsteps in the hallway, and immediately woke up. He was a really light sleeper. He walked out into the hallway to see three... "demigods" walking in the hall. "What are you guys doing?" Thomas exclaimed, looking at the three insane kids. He still didn't believe that he was a "demigod", and that his dad was Zeus. There was no way his dad was Zeus. His dad had died before Thomas was born. Right?... Thomas went into deep thought, and decided that he would believe the "demigods". For the time being. "So... This challenge is... that we have to find the three others?" Thomas said quizzically.

"I guess it would seem so." Jecht said to Thomas looking at the dark trees. "I just don't know how we would be able to find them." He said looking at the other demigods there. "Any ideas?" Jecht asked completely stumped gby the challenge already. Don't give up so easily. He told himself. Then looked at his feet and found some kind of tracks. "Hey guys." He called and motioned towards the tracks. "Whoever took them must have been heavy because they left some prertty heavy tracks but I can tell they weren't and were close to a human." He said looking at the deformed print in the dirt.

[Kaisu]

A large stream of light burst out of the cabins, the mist shrouding everything as the light made it's way towards a nearby mountain. The light faded and the mist grew stronger than ever, stronger then the last challenge. This time the mist was strong enough to knock out every mortal in the vicinity, leaving no memory of anything.

 

Charlotte held her Angel close, and it sorted through the mist, protecting her from it. She ran outside to the others. She woke up Zechs and the rest, before meeting everyone outside.

 

"Kaisu, Marumi, Britney, they're gone!" She shouted, running to then. She fell to her knees. "Cronus or the Gods?" She wimpered.

 

Royke got his Avenger ready.

 

"At least we know where they are." He said as he readied for battle. He lead the rest towards the mountain. "Knowing the Gods, there's some sort of army there to stop us. Let's go." He said, running ahead, Avenger ready to throw in spear form.

 

"You guys follow the footprints. We'll go this way."

 

ooc:Any ideas for what the army should be?

The next morning, Zechs woke up in a mysterious cabin, only to find some people gone.

 

"Where is Marumi, Kaisu, and Brittney? If we lose Kaisu, Poseidon is going to have my head. Jecht, father is going to have your head for losing Kaisu too. Also Artemis will have your head also for losing Brittney. Marumi... i promised her father i'll protect her. Now i failed on what i have done." Zechs said as he felt his hand and got up.

 

Zechs then went outside into the bright light and retrived his Espada del Dragón de Agua - (Sword of the Water Dragon) but could not find his Motin - (Rebellion.) That's strange. I left it where Poseidon had landed. Whoever touched Rebellion should have got electricuted. Zechs thought to himself as he went back inside.

 

"I'll be looking for the others. Don't wait up." Zechs said as his Water Dragon Sword, Aquos, melted into water and disappeared. Zechs then walked into the forest to find the others but noticed one thing...

 

...there was no trace or sign of them.

 

Zechs then looked deeper into the forest but found no evidence. He then heard a roaring sound coming from the distance. Must be a dinosaur or something. Zechs thought to himself as he turned back.

 

Zechs then walked to the other direction when hearing a vast breathing from above him. He looked up and noticed a t-rex towering above him. "Why does the world dislike me?" Zechs asked himself as he ran off.

 

The t-rex followed Zechs, sensing a strong smell of fear within him. Zechs then stopped and so did the T-rex, roaring vigorously at the tiny demigod.

[Kaisu]

Kaisu was bundled up, a group of... strange reptiles surrounding him. Some looked part dinosaur, but either way, they were plain wierd. The Chariot was far away, and it flew to him when he called for it in his hands. Sadly, when it touched his hand, it turned to dust. "Awww man!" He moaned. He had been taken out of bed at midnight, and now his weapon was gone. And it was only 1 AM in the morning. Stupid challenge He thought.

Jecht wqatched Zechs leave and then he heard a loud roar. "Zechs? What did you do now?" He started running and soon he saw a huge t-rex breaking down the trees. He knew he had to distract the monster or it would eat Zechs. "Yo! Down here!" He threw a good sized rock at its head but it did't seem to notice. "And I thought Zechs was hard headed." He started running towards the giant lizard and grabbed onto it tail and did something he would soon regret and stabbed its tail cutting off the tip. The dinosuar flipped around immedatly swinging it tail along with Jecht right into a tree trunk. Jecht hit his head on the tree but stood back up the monster now looking at him. "I did this for Zechs?" He asked himself.

[Kaisu]

Royke was on a tree, looking for a shortcut to the top of the mountain when he saw Jecht being slammed into a tree. He readied to throw his spear when on of the Angel's bows rippled through the air and hit into the Dinosaur, the arrow burning up as it burnt the skin of the dinosaur. Charlotte aimed another bow at Zechs, hitting him through the heart. Royke saw the arrow's path and he was about to hit Charlotte when the arrow dissapeared into a white dust, spreading over his vicinity. She aimed another one at Jecht. They were both somewhat healed from the attacks. She began to climb from tree to tree, occasionally firing another arrow.

Zechs saw what had happened right before his eyes.

 

"Nobody or nothing will hurt or touch my brother! I made a promise to protect my little brothers and i swear on my life i will do as i was promised!" Zechs said as his monsterous aura flared out of anger. The T-rex then looked at Zechs and roared vigorously at the demigod.

 

Zechs then summoned to life-size aqua dragons near him as they looked at the t-rex and roared at the same time. The t-rex then squealed away as the demon dragon Zechs felt a arrow through the heart. No arrow can penetrate through him when he is in this state...

 

...even if it is life-threatening.

 

The demon dragon Zechs then looked around visciously and saw that the culprate was Charlotte. "Why are you shooting weak arrows at us? Your supposed to be a good guy not a bad one!" Zechs said as the left aqua dragon aimed at Charlotte's movements and fire a large hydro pump at her.

 

"Why is she attacking us? Whatever the point may be... she will die either way!" Demon Zechs said as he kept his eye on Charlotte. "I did this... for my brother, Jecht because of a promise and i will not break that promise!" Zechs said as he shielded Jecht in a water orb that nothing outside can get through.

 

"Jecht, go and find the others. I'll handle with the two-timed human." Zechs said as he also saw Ryoke aiming at Charlotte as well.

[Kaisu]

"There we go. Feeling better ol' man?" Charlotte asked, Angel at her side. "And no, those aren't lethal. They're healing arrows." She explained. Royke wasn't far behind, Avenger ready for attack. Charlotte looked at Jecht. "You look like you got hit by a dinosaur." She joked. Royke turned, his sword ready to attack the dinosaur.

 

"Oh beep.. My Chariot... The Gods better gimme another one." He complained to himself. He had been seperated from the rest.

Jecht nodded amazed at the power Zechs but noticed the arrows were healing them as they hit the both of them they were covered in white dust. "Zechs! The arrows are helping! They are healing us!" He yelled hoping Zechs would hear him over the roar of the t-rex. "He looked around and started running towards the cabins. He found the others. "Hey! Yeah, were being attacked by DINOSUARS!!" He got the other demigod, warriors to follow him and lead them to the giant t-rex.

[Flaring Rose]

((Why a T-REX? A Gigantasauros pack would be better. Or a Spineo.))

Xin ran towards the Dino.

"Dino? C'mon. I was till eating the deer."

Xin set him and his Weopon Alite. He ran towards the REX.

"Come here REXXY. C'mon boy."

The Dino looked at Xin like if he were a Small Dinosaur.

A Weird look was on the Rex's face.

"Oh. no."

The T-rex started to run after Xin.

"Crap, should i fight or run?"

Xin sent a wirl-wind of flames towards the rex. The flames hit the dinosaur.

The Dinosaur Roared out to the forest, then fell to the ground.

"I think more are comming..."

Zechs then called off the attack as his power and aqua dragons disappeared.

 

He then took out the arrow that was planted inside of him and threw it to the ground. "I heard you loud and clear Jecht. These arrows are a one of a kind. So... she finally found her gift." Zechs said looking at Charlotte throwing one thumb up.

 

"I'm glad she found her calling. Healing Archer... how nice." Zechs said as he went back inside the cabin and gathered the other demigods and Charlotte. "Ok look... we all notice that Kaisu, Brittany, and Marumi are missing. The Gods said that we have to search everywhere for them."

 

Zechs said as he looked at everyone. "I spotted a nearby town up ahead. Something tells me that they're there. It would not hurt to try and look." Zechs said as he gave everyone communicators. "If anything happens, contact w/ using the communicator."

 

Zechs said as he looked at everybody inside the cabin and stood up.

 

"We all have responsiblities and right now, retrieving Kaisu, Brittany, and Marumi are our only objectives. Anything else is obsolete." Zechs said as he went to the door. "Move out everyone. We have to be hasteful and quick."

 

Zechs said as he opened the door and left. We have to be quick on our feet if we want this to be a successful side-misson. Zechs thought himself as he walked to the nearby town northwest of the cabin.

 

Zechs then saw that there was a busy street and turned on his communicator. The communicator came up bright with Zechs's symbol (([spoiler=[b]Zechs' symbol[/b]]

)) on the screen. He talked through the communicator as his voice reached through the others.

 

"I'm here by town. Take northwest and keep on going straight and you'll see a busy road."

 

Zechs said as he waited for the others. Won't be long now. Don't worry Kaisu, Brittany, and Marumi... we all will find you... i promise. Zechs thought to himself as he still waited for the others to arrive.

[Flaring Rose]

Xin heard Zechs over the Comm.

"Read you Zechs. But iam gonna take a quicker path to the town."

Xin put his halberd on the strap on his back. He than Climbed a tree looking out to the horizen.

"There you are."

Xin charged his strength then jumped hight up in the sky, then landing on another tree.

Might take awhile, he thought to himself.

Xin sent flames to his feet, allowing him to jump further.

Xin jumped from tree to tree. Before landing next to Zechs in the town.

"Done."

[Kaisu]

Charlotte had always thought parkour was cool. She just never expected to do it. With a few close calls, she leapt towards the road. She used her communicator. "It should'nt be busy. The mist is enough to knock everyone out, even around here." She said. She could see the mist all around her, something the demigods couldn't. The Angel was clearing the mist for her. "Almost there.." She muttered to herself.

 

Royke was running to the road, and soon he was behind Zechs. "It's as Charlotte said. If they're here... Then what was that light at the mountain?" He asked him.

[Flaring Rose]

"Iam gonna look around, but the Folks dont look friendly.."

Xin looked at some People walking past. They seemed under a spell of some kind.

"Er, Royke, They have an evil look in their eye.."

Xin grabbed the Halberd out of the Strap on his back. The Halberd extended, Xin held it tightly.

"Make sure you inform me of any suspicous activites, ok?"

[Kaisu]

"No.. They're not people." Royke said. He could tell. "THey're something else. They're not alive. Their skin's beggining to decay." He said, pointing it out with his spear. "Wait, over there, isn't that Kaisu?" Royke asked curiously, indicating a small person tied to a post, some sort of silver and gold dust at his feet and hands. It was.

 

Kaisu was surrouned by these strange people, their hair covering their faces. THeir faces...

 

THey were old, decaying faces, their eyeballs gone, their sockets baggy. It was a sickening sight, and Kaisu had his eyes shut as tight as he could. Wake up, wake up, wake up He chanted to himself in his head, what was left of his Chariot in his hands. The chain that bound him to the post definetly had some supernatural presence to it. It was made by the Gods for sure. Either them or Cronus.

 

Charlotte was on a nearby rooftop, watching everything unfold. She saw the Chariot turn to dust and Kaisu squirming, his eyes, when visible, filled with terror. She lined up the Angel for a shot. She charged it with the element of fire, the tip turning red and begginning to burn. She released the arrow and it flew towards Kaisu, heading for the chain. It was a gamble.

[Flaring Rose]

"Royke, i think they are gonna kill us.."

There were chanting in a weird tounge. But Xin couldnt Understand it.

Xin thought the 'things' were a nightmare comming to life, or a horror movie.

Xin saw Charlotte on a rooftop with his firey eyes.

"Royke, Charlotte is on the rooftop."

He wispered to Royke.

"We gotta get out of here.."
