Meh, decided to make an RP to spend the time. Well then, here are it's elements:

 

[spoiler=Plot (Angels)]Since 10'000 BC human beings have been thought to have conscience, and therefore were given souls by God. A "soul" is a single neuron (named the Numinum Neuron) in one's neo-cortex, with a programmed lifespan (hence sudden death by stroke), that, when you die, records and sends every bit of information from your brain to Heaven or Hell (yes, that means death does not cure mental illness). Even at that time in human history, a few seemingly smarter individuals have been turned into Angels, beings that have thousands of Numinum Neurons in their brains, do not age, are immune to diseases, and so on and so forth (check "Angel description"). Once in a Lifespan (which is rather huge), an Angel can turn another human being into an Angel, but the resulting Angel cannot use this ability unless the Angel who created him died or was ascended (basically the same thing, but meh).

 

Now, Angels worldwide fight demons while keeping their identity secret.

 

[spoiler=Plot (Demons)]You all know Demons, don't you? Vicious, badass, ready to kill out of boredom. They are often assigned missions from below. As we are not in Reaper here, no, Demons cannot take human form.

 

[spoiler=Angel Description]An Angel is in very many ways metabolically different to a human, literally from head to toe. These are the common Angel traits:

 

Height: 6'2" (190 cm) - no matter in which point in their life they were turned into Angels

Weight: 286-320 pounds (130-145 kilograms) - no, Angels are not fat, but to withstand their own massive strength, they have extremely dense bones

Lifespan: for ever (they never age, their condition is blocked to 24 years or under) - although they can die

Food needed every day: 8000 calories. Because look down

Body Temperature: 42 degrees Celsius

Heartbeats per minute: 120-130. Always. Even when they sleep.

Blood Type: O negative

IQ: the IQ they had as humans + 30

Sight: perfect to a wavelength of 100 nm. Their sight is so good, they could actually look at someone's chest from 50 meters away and precisely tell how many times does his heart beat per minute. Also, their sight is so good, they can see a Louse's eyes.

Strength: typically 4 times higher than that of regular humans. This tends to terribly damage the muscles, making an Angel unable to fight for more than one hour continuously, but it does not hurt at all and the muscles heal back completely after about 15 minutes of rest.

 

Special Traits:

- From a certain level, Angels stop feeling pain. Although they can still feel a tattoo being made on their hand, a knife impaling their torso goes unnoticed.

- Angels are immune to any kind of virus, bacteria, cancer, and mental illness (excepting the mental illnesses they had before turning into an Angel). Also, drugs on them don't have any effect, although if you're talking about poisons, 20 times the human lethal dose is lethal for Angels as well.

- Angels' only vital organ is the brain, meaning that all other organs completely heal themselves in under 5 minutes, no matter the amount of damage suffered.

- At some point in their development, Angels gain the Inner Voice skill, allowing them to think 2 things at the same time.

- Every demon has it's own unique traits.

 

[spoiler=How can an Angel die]Added this so that you wouldn't RP thinking that you are all powerful. This is how an angel can die:

- Because of not eating at all in 7 days.

- Because of not drinking water at all in 3 days.

- If they have a leg removed, the body forces itself to grow the leg back as fast as possible. This being the situation, if the Angel does not eat in 20 hours after his leg has completely healed, he dies. Damaged internal organs require far less food to heal.

- Because of having their brain damaged (just as humans, Angels cannot heal neurons).

- They cannot live under -25 degrees Celsius and over 150 degrees Celsius (yes, their resistance to heat is far greater than their resistance to low temperature. All stands in their metabolism).

- Asphyxiation. Faster than humans, by the way.

- Angels CAN burn to death (LOL)

- Nuke

 

[spoiler=How can a Demon die]They are pretty damn resistant, but relatively weaker than angels. Though, if they die, they can Gate themselves back to the mortal world, so they are pretty much unstoppable. Though that, they have a period of summoning sickness after returning, which is longer the stronger the demon is.

 

[spoiler=Trial of Mind over Matter (Angels)]When a human becomes an Angel, they are beamed to the headquarters of the leading Archangels. There, the Angel must request the Archangels to give him 2 special abilities, and the Archangels have to decide whether the abilities are overpowered or not. If they are, the Angel mush choose again. After the trial is over, an Angel can never change his special abilities. The storyline in this RP starts after the trial, so just post your abilities.

 

[spoiler=Circles (Demons)]Based on it's strength, each Demon is assigned a Circle, the weakest being lower 1, and the strongest (so far, because there is really no limit) being higher 250. The higher the circle, the stronger the demon is, and the more angels hunt him.

He started as a Marine, but switched to the Army during Desert Storm. From there, he was recruited into the Rangers. His career was glowing at this point; there hadn't been a Ranger this good since the Korean War. However, a rich Pogue with a penchant for war novels bought a commanding position and gave a series of idiotic commands that led to the deaths of Christopher's squad. Chris finished the mission alone, and upon returning to the camp, he fired an entire handgun clip into the CO's forehead before deserting, becoming an assassin. Chris only took cases where the targets were criminals and those he deemed "unsuited for life"; despite this, he led an extremely lucrative career as a contract killer before being almost killed in a shootout with the Chinese Triad. At this time, an Angel, who was hunting a demon through the Triad, transformed Christopher and healed him. Christopher still puts his funds to considerable use as a Demon Hunter and uses the unique advantages Angels possess to further his assassin career. Though he hunts criminals, Christopher is smart enough to avoid being hired to kill certain groups, and has cultivated great favor with the Mafia and Yakuza, among others. Furthermore, he still has some SEAL and Ranger friends who pitch in from time to time while on leave.

One day, he was in a hurry to get to one of his jobs, or he would be late, and he got in an extremely violent car accident. Then the angel appeared.

Bio: Xin was an orphan he got adopted by a nice couple on his 13th birthday. Years passed before his Adoptive parents died. He bought a house with the will they left. then he met the angel at 23.

Trial abilities: 1. Earth Manipulation(can make earth weopons, shift land and can make fissues.)

Bio (before that): Talia grew up with her parents, living an amazing life. Her family was wealthy, and her parents were kind. Later, her parents died of a rare disease, and their bodies were donated for research. From then on, Talia lived at an orphanage, as she waited to turn 18 and inherit her parents fortune, and live her normal life again. But it all changed when a demon had found its way into the orphanage. She was almost killed, when an angel healed her, and turned her into an angel.

Description: Quetzacotl is best described as a feather serpent. He is approximately 28 metres long and 3 meters in diameter at his thickest part. He is covered in green iridescent (pearl like) scales that are each half a metre long, 5 cm thick and incredibly hard. White, iridescent feathers run along his body in continuous ridges. They are light, but arevery rigid and very sharp, able to inflict grievous wounds. His head is much thicker than his body, and is adorned with a crest of rainbow feathers. This crest is also very reflective when arranged in a certain formation, using the light as a weapon to blind his enemies. His fangs are sharp and nigh unbreakable. He only has one pair, but to be able to break his teeth off means having to completely kill him. His eyes are dynamic and rainbow coloured. His tongue is about 6 metres long and allows him to talk.

 

Bio: Quetzacotl was a demon with plenty of experience in death. His past is blurry, but what he remembers was that most of his deaths were from the result of angels. After so many deaths, his body has become adapted to be able to kill or at least fend them off. His most recent and longest life was when he was an Mesoamerican god. That time, he was slain by the joint effort of the Spanish Conquistadores and the angels. The Spanish killed every shaman of the Maya, Inca and Aztec who warded the angels away from him, resulting in the angels swarming up and killing him. Quetzacotl is very jolly despite this and his favourite pasttimes are watching humans slowly destroy their world, giving humans nightmares and destroying cities every year under the cover of hurricanes.

 

How many times you died: Countless, estimated around 30,000 times, the longest life was when he was a god of the Aztec pantheon and the Aztec shamans warded off the angels.

 

Abilities:

1. Indefinite Flight

2. Able to conjure windstorms strong enough to knock even an angel off balance

3. Able to create cripplingly strong bass waves strong enough to level buildings to disorient and possibly damage an angel's brain.

4. Able to become invisible to every being except God, the Devil and the sharpest eyed angels.

5. Able to travel through dimensions through the use of portals. (Only to Heaven, Hell and Earth)

 

Affiliation: He does what he pleases. He might help the Devil once in a while, but tends to watch and enjoy the folly of the human condition.
