Circle + Textures + Distortion Effects + Scratch Things = Epic Custom Planet xD

Yep, you heard me. A Planet.

 

For those of you who play Halo 3, this is supposed to be a Flood-infected planet. It required alot of decisions, filters, & Textures & Color Effects. Anyway, I also used part of a screenshot to make it. To use it, I had to distort it and change its perspective ALOT.

You need to work on the edges... very choppy...

Easy to make, and as said, edges ae choppy. Pretty nice though.

I know it seems easy, but there are several gradient maps, faded parts, different distortions, perspectives, and Sizes, as well as Color effects. I also had to use a certain erase tool shape to get rid of some of the planet, and use its selection edges to darken certain parts of the planet. Plus, I've never done something like this.

Looks a bit flat. Also, you can add a little blur to the borders to to make it look like an atmosphere...

And, floodish? It is. Flood Hives don't have GIANT flood sacs outside of it.
