Windowlicker
Korn, Linkin Park, Marilyn Manson, Slipknot, etc.Basicly, talented bands that were good for about 10 years, then turned into J-pop. Anyways, discuss the good old 90s metal bands, when they were still decent bands.
EliminateHRN
Is Linkin Park even metal? I didn't think they were, plus I thought they were formed in 2000. But I like Korn and a few songs by Slipknot. They are decent, but I still like Korn. Haven't heard anything from Marilyn Manson though.

Linkin Park is like, hardly talented. There are other bands worth mentioning.Slipknot is.. meh.Korn and M.M. are good. Cradle of Filth, Behemoth, etc, are from the 90's, and they're really talented. Some may have gone down in taste, but still are good.
CinnamonStar
Ugh... Don't trust Wikipedia too much, they massacre genres sometimes... Like when people put Emilie Autumn and LaFee into Gothic Metal, goddamnit.D=Eh...I didn't hear any of them turning to J-Pop, tbh I don't like most of them. Linkin Park are probably the ones that made SOME good songs in the past like Breaking the Habit.Eh...dunno, for me the rest were always bad, even in the 90s.D=

Enrise
Cradle of Filth is losing their touch. D: Most surely D:We must call the council, and summon Cradle of Filth! We must discuss the path to retraining. They lack the strength currently. They must go through retraining! Amirite Eury? HORUS
Interesting how none of the bands mentioned by the original poster are metal bands. Slipknot is questionable.

CinnamonStar
Well Nu-Metal was founded as a genre of Metal, whether we like it or not. ...I don't for sure lol.Not everyone's going to accept Japanoise as an established genre, well too bad.:/ I'd say too that Slipnot is the only "Metal" band on the list even though I don't like them.Korn is more Nu-Rock, Manson calls his own stuff Glam Rock and Linkin Park is Alt. Other than CoF I remember Graveworm and Macbeth being better in the 90s... Although Scourge of Malice was the last really good thing, the next albums just had a few good songs. Also Kataklysm and Agathodaimon, partially The Gathering...The 90s were also when Gothic Metal wasn't just about good-looking female fronters and topic overuse.=D
