Plot: Earth. 2113. The planet is in ruins. People live in small villages fending their lives from creatures called Edeons. The Edeons are remains of peoples souls, emotions, and desires that had been twisted by the great asundrance. The great asundrance was a extremely severe storm and earthquake caused by global warming in 2103 that devastated the planet. Over time a few people found they had supernatural abilities. There powers were to either shapeshift(a skin-walker), move things without touching them( a mind-shifter), or to destroy things from the spiritual realm( ghosts, banshees, edeons)( a spirit-killer). But all of them had the ability to travel through mirrors and step out of another mirror in a different location. Salvation must be found. Life must continue.

appearance(described): cold blue eyes, fair skin, black t-shirt with skull on it but has a tear through the left sleeve, ragged blue jeans, samurai sword concealed inside flute. His hair is kind of shaggy but he somehow manages to keep it nice(???). Burn marks across his left shoulder

bio: Dante was a orphan left in the streets ,salvaging items to make things out of the junk. During The Great Asundrance he was one of the very few in his city that survived. But not without a mark, trying to help a child get away from a burning house. He got the child out before the house collapsed. He became trapped inside the ruins and a flame licked his arm as he tried to jump through the flames to safety. Dante tries to survive while salvaging useful items from the surrounding ruins for his village while often secretly practising his shapeshifting and sword training. He discovered a lab in the rubble and found a map that might lead him to something that could bring about salvation.

bio: Ten years ago for his third birthday his parents took him up in a hot air balloon....so he was not on the ground when the earthquake happened so therefore he has no powers......his parents were lost, but he went to live with an uncle who died on his thirteenth birthday.....he then found a baby raven being attacked by the same Edeon that killed his uncle....so he got revenge and a new pet.....he now travels with his Raven(Terra) to find his parents.

Name: Juliet "Rose" DeCamot

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Appearance: Juliet stands at a fair 5'7, with a slimmer body type proportioned relatively straight. Hunger and lack of nourishment has gnawed at her figure, making her look slightly malnourished and skeletal, though she generally masks it though a combination of layers of clothes and a diet that, while not offering much in the way of nutrition, at least gives her body the bare minimum to construct a fat lining and prevent her ribs from showing. Her shoulders are wider than average, though pointed downward in order to produce lengthy, though stringy arms without much meat upon them. She has abnormally small hands and fingers, perfect for manipulating small or delicate objects, though fairly unwieldy for larger weaponry. Her legs receive more matter distribution than her arms do, though it is still fairly easy to see that they are stringier and slighter than they should be. Her calve muscles are somewhat undeveloped, giving her a slower sprint, though her thighes have well-developed tissue that allows her long-distance endurance runs to have a bit of push behind them.

Her waist is about normal size, maybe pinched a little at the edges outward a bit, though it is almost impossible to notice due to the skin hanging taunt to her bones due to a lack of muscular or fatty tissues. Her skin goes in and dips into what appears to be an hourglass figure, though is really just a result of a lack of substantial food to fill in the gaps. Her chest is really just biologically slim compared to her broad shoulders and somewhat wider waist, which gives emphasis towards her face. Her breasts are somewhat smaller than the average for her age, and her facial features are arranged into a more downward- triangular pattern rather than an circle or oval.

She has natural blond hair, mixed in with a smattering of dark strands that mix within it to make it appear darker than it usually is. She wears it in a variety of ways, though usually just tied back behind her haphazardly when she is doing anything. When her hair is unrestrained, it is windswept and rarely conforms to a single shape, though it thankfully stays downward more than it does upward. She has eyes slightly bigger then the average, with dark brown irises that appear black in most light schemes. She has a touch of heterochormia, which makes her left eye appear slightly lighter than her left, though it is only really noticeable after very close examination. She mouth is generally a tight line, though it seems about average size comparatively. Her ears are somewhat smaller and angled backwards very slightly, fairly unnoticable beneath her hair and the rest of her face. She has detached earlobes.

She wears a long-sleeved cotton shirt with a broad neck, evidently tailored for women, above which she wears a black Frock Coat, adorned posthumously with a wilted rose bloom. She wears slightly baggy plain black dress pants beneath such, and well-made boots that appear made for both show and practical use.

In her left ear, she wears an earing with no stone made with a pink metal, looking fairly similar to a thorn or similar object.

 

She keeps several weapons with her, especially a massive Zanbato; a huge japanese sword with a blade like a cleaver and a straight hilt, obviously intended for several members to use instead of a single person. While she is incapable of raising this behemoth blade on her own, using her abilities, she can cause it to float near her at all times without actually having to carry it. Along with that, she carries a long Nodachi on her back (Similar to a smaller Zanbato), which she uses as a polearm rather than a blade. She carries a variety of throwing knives in several scabbards along her left leg. She keeps a small handgun holstered to her right side, which she does not use on Edeons.

 

Ability: Mind-Shifter

Bio: A child left not only parentless but villageless since the Great Asundrance, constantly left to fight for scraps of food among the other survivors and children, she lived only because she learned Brutality and Violence would allow her to live, and her gift allowed her to do more than she ever thought possible. One of the strongest Mind-Shifters, what she is able to move and control far exceeds even the most adept of other Mind-Shifters, partially due to necessity for her to develop it in such harsh surroundings.

 

Fighting less with swordsplay than simply using her abilities to stab people from afar, she quickly became renown as someone just as willing to kill another human as she would a Edeon in her way. Though not totally heartless, she is completely devoted to survival and will not sugar coat what is needed. She is a firm believer that the weak parish so the strong may flourish, not because she thinks that she's better than anyone else, but simply because there isn't enough food and resources availible to keep all the survivors alive and something's gotta give.

name: "Faceless" Drake Crowley

age: 17

gender: Male

appearance(described): Drake Crowley stands approximately 6'2 in his natural form, he has wide-set shoulders and long , muscular arms, ending in large, thick fingers. On his left hand, his index finger is missing it's very tip. Drake's midsection is well defined, with a noticeable “6-pack” and sculpted pectorals. His chest is scarred with what appear to be claw marks, although they are pale and seem stretched. Drake's legs are considerably more developed then his arms, he has strong, well developed calves, although his thighs are considerably less toned, they are still impressive.

 

Drake has would-be soft facial features. However, given his muscle-mass this softness seems to be well-hidden. Drake's hair is blonde, shaven to the point where it is little more then fuzz. His nose is very small in comparison to the rest of his body. Drake's eyes are large pools of green, they are very emotive, when he's sad, the only real way to tell, unless he's overwhelmed by the emotion is to look into his eyes, as they will seem darker, when he is very happy about something, they seem brighter.

 

Drake usually wears a black singlet which is tight enough to show off his defined muscles, though this is not intentional, and he wears it simply for the purpose of being comfortable. He most often wears his favorite pair of blue jeans they are baggy and seem rather torn now, they have faded in places from blue, to almost white. Drake's shoes are tall black steel-toed boots with a flame design.

bio:

Drake is, or was, an aspiring street magician. In the beginning of the Grand Ascendance, Drake was standing on a street corner, performing a trick had spent a lot of time practicing on, a seemingly simple trick involving transferring ink from the hand of the participant to his own. At the time he was unaware of the storm, and also of an escaped tiger from a near-by zoo. As the storm began, the earthquakes frightened the tiger, which was at that point not far from Drake. The creature pounced on the boy and tore at his chest, resulting in his claw-mark scar, as well as his missing finger-tip. It was at this point that Drake developed his Skin-Walker power, accidentally assuming the form of a tiger himself. He used this form to fight off his attacker. Drake then re-assumed human form and began to try to make his way home, but when he got there, it was in ruins. He decided he would call his parents. After several unanswered calls, Drake realized that they were dead.

Gender: Female

Appearance:Kasumi isn't too tall, she stands 5'8" but isn't thin but you know not fat at all. She has very long red/orange hair that reaches down to her waist with long bangs. She has a long spiraling scar that winds down her arm. She believes in the spirits and spiritual objects so she wears many necklaces, each one with a birthstone, she has every birthstone along with gold and silver braclets that are acctually puzzles that she believes only a true spirit can solve but tries reguardless. She has sorts of rings tied into her hair of various colors. Kasumi wears a long red kimono, with black baggy pants.

Ability: Spirit-Killer

Bio: Kasumi, before the great storm, was a fortune teller, with things like reading crystal balls, reading palms, and even banishing spirits. She was called crazy on many, many occasions because of this. Once she discovered spirits walked the Earth freely she thought of them as confused and tried to help one but it scarred her severly spirialing down her arms. She then banished the spirit by touching it and discovered she too was a Spirit-Killer. She still doesn't like destroying spirits and only does it in 100% nessicary. She believes instead of fighting the spirits she should try to befriend them and help them back into the Spirit World. Kasumi wants to someday summon a spirit and get the said spirit to try and explain to the spirits that she wants to help them so she will try constantly by meditating and chanting but the biggest things she has done is blow out all the candles in the room. (Which wa a lot of candles) Which was a huge thing for her because of the faxt that no wind was blowing and she believed that she just barely came incontact with the spirit world and came somehow summon a spirit.
