"Get in there!" Shadow Droid Yusei pushed James into a cell.

James ws still dizzy from what happened with his signer powers. "Ug..." He looked arounto see a bag and a paper that had been painted on in black paint. Hetried to remember Shadow Droid Yusei's changes to the original. He pulled out th container witlack paint in it and opened it. He covered his small marks with the pant and flipped hs jacket inside out, hoping it would b conicing enough, since te insde was black. He tried to get the attention of guard. "Excuse me!" A guard looked at him. "I believe i have been mistaken for my counterpart of this world, could yo unlock the door for me?"

"Sure." he pulled out a key and put it in the lock.

"Thanks, now i'll be going to find my counterpart an lock him up." Sucker...

"You know what? I'll treat you to dinner. But it has to be somewhere I choose. The paparazzi are getting wise, and they think that a super-heroine, like myself, deserves to be in tabloids. How does Chinese sound? I know this great little back-alley Chinese joint. All-you-can-eat buffet!" She tempted Rayos.

"First you ask me to ask you out, then you attempt to break my nose, then you bandage my nose even though it wasn't even bleeding, then you arrest me, now you're asking me on a date?" Rayos asked, confused "Well, if it keeps me from being arrested, I guess I can force myself into going on a date with you." Rayos said, smiling to show that he was only joking "But I'd prefer eating somewhere... private..." He said, holding up his Gauntleted arm "People tend to stare when I walk into a restaurant wearing this, so I try to lay low, which is why I travel at night and sleep during the day."

"Don't worry! It's 11:00 at night! They're only open at night, and anyone there has probably seen stranger customers, since I'm a regular. Nothing says 'Good job on getting those bad guys!' like a steaming bowl of congratulatory Miso soup, eh?"

"Hey," Travis interrupted. "Hope I'm not intruding, but can I come too? I can't sleep, and I'm too bored to go back. I don't wanna eat by myself, so i thought i'd join you guys." he turned to Rayos, "If you want I can fix that duel runner of yours, or even build you a new one, if that's okay with her, I am a mechanic, after all."

Eris was startled at this intrusion, and did what she thought was the most logical thing to do:

Slam Travis up against the nearest wall.

"Alright! Who are you?!? What are you doing here?!? And how long have you been listening in on us?!?"

Eris' black and purple eyes burned as she stared madly into the intruder's eyes.

"Maybe just some noodles?" Rayos said "Something cheap for the bad guy before you bring him in." He looked at Travis and sighed "Yeah, I guess you can..."

 

"Stay here while I tell you what that Mark of the Dragon on your arm's all about." Mark finished "Hell, this is the third shuffle I've been through, first time around, my sister got one of the Claws, last time I was fighting on the other side, this time around I finally got one of the Marks." He shrugged "Or, you can go get some Chinese and keep wondering, up to you." His eyes followed Travis's trajectory into the nearest wall "Alright, never mind, have a nice life." He said, speeding off and triggering Blizzard Wing 3.0's flight mode.

"No!" Eris snapped at Rayos. "You're going to get as much as you want, while pervy-boy here gets egg foo yung! The only downside of the Moonlit Pagoda is that they have the worst Egg Foo Yung recipe in Japan, and this guy's gonna get a nice, hot bowl of it!"

Eris smiled malevolently as she handcuffed both men to her.

"Rayos, you're under arrest for multiple accounts of tresspassing, breaking and entering, and property damage, while Pervy-boy, you're under arrest for sexual harassment!"

"But let's get something to eat before I throw you two in the slammer."

"Miss Eris, please, spare that idiot?" Rayos asked, "He's probably got about five broken ribs right now, and I think that's about as good of a punishment as suing him will be, or probably even more so." He held his arms out in front of him again, then realized that the Gauntlet was probably bigger than her handcuffs. "Uh, alright... Handcuffing me isn't gonna work, so what do you want me to do to prove that I'm not a threat to you." His stomach rumbled quietly again. "Hurry up and book me so you can go and get something to eat."

Eris, helpfully, placed the handcuff on Rayo's ungauntleted arm while she shoved the perv into a nearby police car. The police on duty questioned her, she explained what had happened, and Sector Security promptly hauls the poor guy away.

"Now, where were we?"

Eris spots a sign for "Moonlight Pagoda Chinese Restuarant: All You Can Eat Buffet!".

"Oh yeah! Let's go!"

She drags Rayos into the restuarant and takes a seat at a booth, with Rayos sitting across from her.

Rayos shook his head silently, his one visible eye closed, his expression weary and saddened. Elemental Knight and a six-winged bird appeared, the former taking the seat next to Eris, the latter sitting on Rayos' shoulder. Neither one made a sound, the armored Warrior crossed his arms, his body language conveying contempt, while the Winged Beast just started at the girl with its unblinking eyes, one gold, blue, and green, the other purple, red, and brown. Its wings rustled restlessly, the three on its left side shining yellow, icy blue, and billowing green, while its right wings were pitch black, flaming red, and sandstone brown, contrasting its eyes, which had the opposite color scheme.

Ooc: Yeah, he's dense like that, or maybe he's just that hungry.

"Damn, she's strong," Travis muttered, rubbing his head, as he woke up in the car. It hurt a bit to breathe, meaning she'd broken one of his ribs. "Aww, not again!"

"Shut up, kid!" an officer in the car said. "You're going to be taken away to the Facility."

"But what's gonna happen to my bike?" he asked, fearing the answer. The officer smirked.

"You're never gonna see it again."

"...big...mistake!" Travis yelled, busting the door down in a blind rage, and jumping out, hitting the road with a thud. He got up, barely injured, and sprinted back to the place where he'd gotten knocked out, where his bike was already being taken away. "Oh, hell no!" he muttered to himself, punching both men in the stomach, knocking them out. "Great," Travis complained to himself as he once again got onto his bike and rode away to look for the pair. "First I get a broken rib from some chick, and now I'm an enemy of the law. I JUST WANTED SOME MOTHERF@#%ING FOOD, FOR GOD'S SAKE!!" He screamed into the night, searching from place to place for the pair. Finally, he found a restuarant with a waiter who'd seen two people similar to the one's he'd described. He thanked the guy, angrily wrote a note, and asked him to give it to her, promising he wasn't a perv or a stalker before riding off into the night to get something to eat. He was feeling in the mood for some churros and milk.

 

[spoiler=Travis' note] Okay, so i'm just gonna get straight to the point; WHAT THE F#$^?!! First of all, I was there since you mentioned a turbo duel, but you just didn't notice me. Second, just because you fail at noticing me except for when I ask if I can join you guys for food, doesn't mean I'm a perv! Seriously, when in the 5 seconds before you slammed me into a wall, handcuffed me, and slammed me into a car, did I sexually harass you?! Anyway, it was kind of wrong on my part to try to mooch of you, sorry. But please think before you act and jump to conclusions, I think you gave me a broken rib, and now I'm an enemy of the law.

A small armored fox started running next to Travis, Defensive Force of the Ice Barrier, Mark's Duel Spirit. "Master is wonder whether or not you wish to hear about the Signers, and that Dragon in your deck that seems to stick out from the rest. So, which one's yours? Black Rose? Ancient Fairy? Red Archfiend maybe?" He asked, his accent faintly British with a hint of arrogance.

"Red Dragon Archfiend is the one in my deck, for your information," Travis replied, fairly annoyed by the tone of this silver fox, Neos appearing behind him. "Anyway, now I've got a few questions for you; 1) How did you know about my dragon? 2)What are signers, and does it have anything to do with the mark on my arm? and 3) Who's your master, and how does he know all of this? take me to him." he asked, speeding up a fair amount.

A waitress received the duo's drink orders, and, several minutes after a mishap involving the handcuffs, Eris and Rayos were sitting down, enjoying their meal.

Well, Rayos was. Eris didn't get much to eat, but Rayos was chowing down like a ravenous animal.

"So..." Eris started out, "...umm.....what were you talking about earlier with wht happened a year ago?"

Protheus walked around for a while. This usually took years. He decided not to waste any time and created a black, living, Duel Runner from dust. He went on it and began driving to the first place that went into mind, New Domino City.

"Always start there, I can't believe I haven't learned that yet."

"It looks as though there is a new threat to the project, now Yusei, go after this girl kown as Eris." A black crystal ball showed Eris and Rayos eating.

"As you say, master." He turned into black go slowly shrinking until it was gone. The goo reappeared, growing and forming into the shape of Yusei, scaring the few people near by. He locked on a Chinese restaurant and walked towards it. He broke down the door and looked around. "Where is the one you call Eris."

 

James continued to sneak around the building, looking for hisd-wheel and deck. Has to be around here. He noticed two Shadow Droids guarding a door. "I have permission to to go in there."

"ID please?"

"Um.. yeh, slight problem with," James punched one of the guards, knocking it down. "Unless you want this to happen to you, leave!" It did, taking the fallen droid with him and droppin a card. James picked it up and slid it in the scanner, opening the door. "Yes." He walked in.

Eris heard someone enter the Moonlit Pagoda, and turned to see...Yusei Fudo?

Vicky was momentarily stunned, but she saw that this Yusei wasn't the same Yusei she knew as her godfather and the father of her best friend and rival, Yuki Fudo. This one showed Yusei Fudo in his prime, but he had a very blank expression...just like the multiple versions of the same guy she saw earlier.

"Hold on for just a few minutes." Eris replied to Rayos, quickly handcuffing him to the underside of the table as she approached Yusei.

"You're not Yusei Fudo!" she declared as she gave "Yusei" an aetonic flame-infused punch, causing him to burst into flames. She quickly kicked "Yusei" out into the streets, and was about to confront him until he melted into a puddle of goo.

"That was wierd..." she said aloud, only to be confronted by ANOTHER "Yusei", who had his Duel Disk prepped.

"If that's the way you wanna go, so be it!"

Eris declared as she activated her own Duel Disk.

 

Meanwhile, Kiana, Eris' Duel Monster Spirit and occasional doppleganger, such as this evening, woke up to feel her partner start to duel.

Please don't summon me! Please don't summon me! Please don't summon me! The creature started thinking.

Black had tailed Eris and Rayos, and he had gotten out of the way when the droid came by, but he figured his present interests were not in getting onto the rude person, or so he thought before he went into the lit up restaurant. Black walked in around the robot, and went to a wall, leaned against it, and watched.

Rayos hadn't so much as touched his food, however, when Yusei's copy arrived, he bolted through the door and without any visible effort snapped the chain holding the two handcuffs together in half. He stared down the first Yusei clone, noting that Eris had the other one taken care of. "Hey, Eris, if I win this, you drop all the charges against me. If I lose... Well, I'm fairly certain that I'm gonna die." His Duel Gauntlet activated, the eleven card zones spinning around and lighting up "Locked." Rayos said quietly, five cards shooting into his hand from the disk "Clones go first." He stated, appraising the cards in his hand.

 

((By the way, for Rayos' Gauntlet, think Hellboy's arm attached to a REALLY skinny kid))

"Fine, get your game on... i think. Draw! I summon Quillbolt Hedgehog in efense mode." I hedgehog with bolts coming out of is back came to the field and turned blue. "End."

 

"Finally, my D-wheel and deck." He hopped in his d-wheel and started it up. Speeding up, he sped through the door. An armyof shadow droids awaited him outside. "Crap... RUN!" He kicked it as fast as his d-wheel could go, barely escaping them. "*sigh* Good, out of that place.

 

"Sir, James has escaped."

"Don't worry, he is no longer needed..."

ooc:forgot to say after soe thinking, there is a slight change in signer status. There can now be 10 signers, but two of them have the the same mark, but one person's is blue instead of red, like a mini-signer, or a replacement signer incase a signer becomes inactive the signer with the same mark gets to take his/her place. also, still no custom but you can use non-5D's signer used dragon synchros like blackstone using a ice barrier dragon, which i'm not sure if you have decided about, and keep it when becoming a signer.

IC:Another pile of goo materialized infront of Rayos in the form of Jack Atlas. "The king is here! It's time to duel!" Jack's duel disk activated and he drew 5 cards.

Eris looked over her options, which didn't exactly scream "Play me!".

Until she noticed a combo she could use.

"I Normal Summon Fiend Roar Diety Galbas in Attack Mode!"

A large, mean-looking armored creature with a black mace and wings on the sides of its arms appeared. (1500 ATK)

"And I activate his effect, allowing me to discard Fiend Roar Diety Luri to destroy your Quillbolt Hedgehog!"

Galbas swung his mace around, and slammed it into Quillbolt, destroying it.

But then, Luri flew out of Eris' Graveyard and landed next to Galbas. (200 ATK)

"Now, I will discard Fiend Roar Deity Mizhtorji to make Luri a Tuner!"

Luri felt empowered as he flexed his puny muscles.

"Next, I will use Double Summon to Normal Summon Fiend Roar Diety Urstos in Attack Mode!"

A skeletal Fiend Roar Diety appeared on Galbas' other side. (1500 ATK)

"But Urstos' effect activates, allowing him to gain 400 ATK as long as I have 2 or less cards in my hand!" (1500 ATK -> 1900 ATK)

"Now, I Tune Luri with Galbas to bring out Fiend Roar Diety Legion!"

Luri transformed into a single ring, while Galbas became 4 stars, causing a beam of light to erupt, revealing a gold-armored demon. (2300 ATK)

"Now Legion's effect activates, allowing me to draw a card!"

She drew her card, and decided that she had won.

"Now, my Dieties, attack!"

Eris grinned at "Yusei's" open field.

"Game over, 'Yusei'!"

"This is not the end of us. Jack, take care of them for me." Yusei turned bck into goo, shrinking until no longer there.

 

"Man, i'm getting hungry." James turned next to a Chinese food place. He went through the front.

"Good day good sir." said a man with a Spanish accent.

"Isn't it wierd for a french guy to be working at a chinese food place? I mean you must feel out of place..." said James

"Look, there's a British guy in the back cooking rice, so no, i don't feel out of place."

"Ok... I'll just seat myself."

Eris watched as the second Yusei dissolved, but the stench of the goo still ingered, even though it had evaporated.

But then, she realized that it was coming from somewhere else.

She ran back into the restaurant to see that there was a tiny spot of flesh-colored goo on the new arrival's shirt.

She grabbed a hold of James' left arm.

"Hello. I'm Eris. You wanted me?"

IC:"Da Nyeh? What are you talking about? I was just hungry! Being catured... Look, i don't see why you have come after me." James tried to pull away. "You might want to let go." Rose petals danced around him. Hs voice sounded like it had an echo like Akiza's voice and hs Mark started glowing with a white copy of the dragon's claw around his dragonhead mark. "I haven't been in the best mood lately."
