snake_boy
If you are a fan of violent gaming (GTA, mortal kombat and others) You hate this man. If you don't know him He is Jack Thompson, He is one of few people who have tried to get Vid game violence BANNED! Discuss why he is wrong to do this and why people with the same idea should give up an let underage kids play violent video games
BIG ROD
these people that kids can handle certain content they are kinda rite but teens can handle most of wat adults can sometimes more but littler kids cant handle a chain saw to the face or a sticky boom snow man
snake_boy
Okay, well maybe underage kids playing them is wrong, But this SOB wants to get rid of EVERYTHING, No decapitaitions in mortal kombat, no exploding heads in RE, NOTHING

Lazer Yoshi
Ignorant moron. :lol:Video Games do NOT cause kids to run around shooting people. I know that it's not that much of a problem anymore, but there are still parents running around "O SRY SON DATS 2 VIOLENT 4 SHU LOLOLOLOLOLOL". Jarl Ballin
That's why adults (especially adults in the MEDIA) shouldn't try to question video games. It's not something for adults. Video games are toys.
Falkon 491
Adults let them watch Looney Toons, Tom and Jerry, and other "kid" shows, so why can't we have some more realistic violence? SCREW YOU JACK THOMSON! (BTW: Rockstar Games by the LeetStreet Boys has him in the beginning).
Zeroke
My opinion on this is that voilence in video games is alright. The exploding heads and body parts being flung off are a bit much. I care more for the story of a video game than of the content. Some people want to keep the violence so they can take their anger out on video games, or just to help them get that curiosity of killing out of their system. ESRB has a system to protect kids from this sort of thing, and it's up to parents to help keep them away from these things. Teens aren't idiots, Adults think that they they are childish and easily manipulated. Some are, but I doubt to the point where they will even kill. Maybe they were back in the day when video games were still new, but nowadays teens have grown smarter. I would organizer my thoughts, but I am too lazy to do so. I at least got my point across.Violence+Kids= Serious troubleViolence+Teens= Okay as long as they have an IQ of 105+ and a conscienceViolence+Adults= Overprotective ignorance

-SupernovA-
I've been playing violent video games since I was five years old and you don't see me running around trying to re-create the Texas Chainsaw Massacre... It's not the games that are the problem, there are just people who are plain loonies and then when they get caught they try to blame it on games. Nuff said. Or the smart-asses and psychologist's who think they know everything try and explain it that way because the last time they played Modern Warfare 2 they got laughed off their system because they were complete noobs. >_<
Taichi Masaki
Hate is such a strong word. You have to use that for people that are actual enemies to everyone. Like Bill O'Reilly, Rush Limbaugh, and sometiems Glenn Beck. As for this guy...he looks completely irrelevant to any and everything. Haven't heard about him at all, seriously... Growing up I watched nothing but shows that had fighting. Generations of people have. If that was true the world would have descended in anarchy long ago. The fact that it hasn’t proves there are no real adverse affects. If people end up beating the crap out of some one or doing something they saw on TV odds are they have other problems, and even still that is a very small minority. I mean people have died jumping of building, or other high places saying they can fly, but that doesn’t mean every one is going to try it. Hell, in all the violent shows I’ve watched as a kid the one thing I learned was to fight for those I care about and for what I believe in, and last I checked those are good things. DARKPLANT RISING
This guy isn't worth human rights, he's not human. Homo Sapiens has been fond of fights since they birthed. Yugioh contains violence. All games do. And so does the hearts of all men. Higurashi wouldn't be that cool without gore. And this beast tries to destroy violence? He's inhuman. No-I would rather call this behemoth it. It's inhuman. Science has proven that watching violent oriented material (and by association' date=' playing violent games) will increase a child's aggressive behavior. [/quote'] *Beatles sing* You say goodbye, I say goodbye. Violent oriented material is needed in order to sustain and mentain a mentality from becoming overstrict. Also' date=' childs who have better grades tend to watch more violence such as You Tube Higurashi. Violence is needed in life. [/quote'] Also-what if there was no violence inside someone? Let's say you were picked on. You can:●Punch this guy in the guts and tell him to shut up●Say, "stop it it's bad to bully" The reason I mentain my place as the top star of the grade is because normally I'm a nice guy, and when someone picks on me, I:●Punch this guy in the guts●Call on my friends Tanoue and Satori to punch this guy in the guts●Kick his legs at least a dozen timesAnd finally●"If you want to be safe shut your moth up". Violence=Self-Protection.
