If a decktype dies if it loses just 1 card' date=' maybe that decktype doesn't deserve to be alive, anyways... I'm sure Skilless decks can be played even without Skill Drain.

Have you ever tried playing an exodia deck without the left leg?

This + a LOT more

Six Sams without Grandmaster

Morphs without Celfon

Final Countdown without Final Countdown

Chimeratech OTK without Cyber Dragon

etc.

If you ban Red Gadget, the whole Gadget deck dies.

If Gadgets became the best deck (they can't be meta), then whats the betting Konami would do this?

Most of those can be theorically done.

True, still, looking at this, It's kinda sad that these decks rely entirely on 1 card to win.

That doesn't change the fact that RotA, BTH and Gold Sarcophagus should be at 3... wut?

Without the key cards, they lose their consistency and cannot function as a deck. Just because it CAN be done, doesn't mean that it's fair to kill these decktypes when the vast majority of said cards do the game no harm.

Furthermore, without those cards, they lack the key to any sort of use. Without any of the listed cards, I can assure you that no non-idiot would seriously run said decks.

Not really. The list is bad' date=' but the changes are enough to make [b']the game[/b] better. And the game is in a horrible condition right now so that's not a very hard thing.

EDIT:

Someone reposted the list:

Forbidden:

Elemental Hero Stratos

Necroface

Brain Control

Limited:

Brionac, Dragon Of The Ice Barrier

Judgment Dragon

Magician Of Faith

Tragoedia

Burial From A Different Dimension

Beckoning Light

Semi - Limited:

Cyber Dragon

Gladiator Beast Bestiari

Solemn Judgment

Newly Unlimited:

Chaos Sorcerer

Allure Of Darkness

Gold Sarcophagus

Bottomless Trap Hole

Probably the best format after PTDN.

+1 chaos, allure, and faith? my caster deck will get a decent boost it seems.

I like the modifacations coming if this is true, means lightsworn will finally be weakened a bit. maybe not enough to kill it, but it won't be quite as powerful as it was, and that's good for everyone who wants to be creative.

necroface getting banned might have something to do with the unlimiting of gold sarc, since a macro mill deck focusing on necroface can be quite effective, if inconsistent, the deck just sometimes pulls something out of nowhere for a win.

the GB semi worries me though, since gyzarus seems to have been untouched, this means that they might make a comeback with being allowed to take more chances with 2 birds to work with.

this could get interesting.

What's the source for the apparent list? I know it was apparently on Pojo' date=' I mean where did THEY get it from?

[/quote']

Well, apparently it was leaked by the same guy who leaked the last list (some Japanese top player), but there is no proof. It was also posted on some other forums before pojoers found it.

Anyway, this thread is based on speculations and the "leaked" banlist has a very good chance of actually being accurate.
