My first Pokemon Fan Fic, hope you guys enjoy. =3

Age: 15

Personality: Happy and talkative, yet a bit shy.

Personality: An anti-social, but very polite boy. He has a deep hatred for Team Rocket.

Char-Char-Char-CHARMANDER CHAR!

 

Amy fell out of her bed at the loud noise. Startled, she wondered what the noise was. She then realized, it was just her alarm clock. Oh wow, just my alarm clock...OH NO! Amy quickly got dressed, grabbed her Pokenav, and ran downstairs.

 

"Hi darling, you better hurry, you're going to be late." Amy's mother said whilst walking out of the kitchen.

 

"I know. Bye! I'll be back soon!" Amy quickly ran out the door and stopped not 5 yards from the house. Over by Tohjo Lake, there was a boy around her age, with long red hair and black clothes. Next to him stood a big, blue Pokemon. She didn't know who the boy nor the Pokemon were, so she ignored them and headed over towards the Lab.

 

When Amy reached the Lab, she quickly opened the door and yelled, "Sorry I'm late!" She then stopped, as everyone looked at her. Blushing, she walked rather quickly towards the Professor. "Hi, I'm Amy. I was supposed to receive a Pokemon today."

 

The Professor looked at her with a rather skeptical look, then said, "Ah, Amy. I almost forgot your appointment was today. Now, as I'm sure you know, every beginning trainer gets to choose 1 of 3 Pokemon as their starting Pokemon. If you'll come over here, I have 3 Pokem-oh my."

 

"What is it Professor Elm? Is there something wrong?"

 

"Well, Amy, 2 of the Pokemon have already been taken. The new ones are still being waited on to be brought in." Elm had a slight frown on his face, and looked as if he was disappointed in himself.

 

"Oh...which Pokemon is left?" Amy grew a worried visage, thinking it wouldn't be the Pokemon she wanted.

 

"The remaining Pokemon is Chikorita. We've had this poor thing for over half a year. No one seems to want it."

 

Aww man, Cyndaquil was taken. But the poor thing has been here for over half a year...I should take it. "I'll take it." Amy smiled, knowing she had done the right thing.

 

"Really? Thank you. Everyone here has felt so bad for the little guy, it was really quite depressing. He'd cry about 3 times a week out of loneliness. It was so sad..." Elm frowned and closed his eyes, looking as if he was going to cry. But he quickly smiled, opened his eyes, and grabbed the Pokeball. "Here Amy. Chikorita is all yours now."

 

"Thank you. I'll make sure to take good care of it." She put the Pokeball on her newly acquired belt, and smiled. "So...what do I do now?"

 

"W-what? You mean, you came in here to get a Pokemon, and now you don't know what to do?"

 

"Err, is that a bad thing Professor Elm?" Amy looked confused. She began wondering if she made a big mistake.

 

"Well, not really bad as it is shocking. What most trainers do once they receive their first Pokemon is take the Pokemon League Challenge. If you take that challenge, the nearest Gym Leader would be Falkner, in Violet City. After that, you're on your own. Just you and your Pokemon."

 

"Okay. Thanks for all your help Professor Elm. But before I leave town, I should go say bye to my mother."

 

"Yes, you should do that. I wish you luck on your journey!"

 

"Thanks. Bye!" Amy ran out side, noticing the boy was gone. Hmph, I wonder who that boy was....oh well. I should let out Chikorita. He's been encased within that lab forever. Amy grabbed Chikorita's Pokeball from her belt, and opened it. A small, green creature with a leaf upon it's head appeared. It looked slightly frightened, wondering where it was. "Hey there little guy, I'm Amy. Nice to meet you." Chikorita had a slightly befuddled look, and said, "Chika? Chikorita?" Hm, he looks confused...maybe a Berry will help him get to like me more. Amy pulled a small, blue berry from her bag and as soon as the Pokemon saw it, it smiled and yelled, "CHIKA!"

 

Chikorita then lunged at the berry, and swallowed it whole. It was smiling, showing a newly found affection for Amy. I guess he likes me now... "Come on buddy, let's go." She began walking towards her house, with Chikorita following. I'm going to have a great time with Chikorita...I just know it.

Awesome fanfic is awesome. But it sounds like it's going to be like the usual plot.

 

Yeah I agree but' date=' as usual everyone goes for the usual fics. Mine has 6 chapters and has been up for 3 days, and yet. barely any posts. But whatever.

 

Anyway. Good start, look forward to reading the rest. =']

Heh. What the others have said about covers what I was going to say.

 

Great. Starts out a bit... Well, un-originally, but at least there's a pokemon left that isn't all 'OH NOES DONT TAKE HIM HES MEANT TO BE GIVEN TO THE MAIN CHARACTER BECAUSE WE HAVE NO MOAR POKEMONZ!!!'. Anyways, I like it so far. I'm following, so get the next chapter up please?
