encapturer
Deralen chased after Raven as he raced up the stairs, ready glad to finally get deeper in the dungeon. While breaking through each puzzle was good fun, the reason they were here was serious in nature. In the back of his head, he wondered what kind of person would set up elaborate puzzles and doorless rooms. Back in the Path of Visions, he noticed that Raven had suddenly stopped in front of the door. He seemed worried about something, which in turn worried Deralen. Raven's the most experienced, so if he noticed something... he thought to himself. "Hey...." Deralen approached Raven, speaking quietly. He noticed the glowing earrings, but paid no attention to them, focusing mainly on Raven's worry. "Something... wrong?"
Hydra of Ages
[spoiler= GM Post]GM Post: Red JungleGM Post: Red Jungle As Lorenz and Billos massacred the remaining Baba, it gave a pitfull wail, though it still clung to the summoner's leg. As it was stabbed over and over, red juices flowed from it, not blood but some strange puss that served a similar purpose in the plant as it withered. Even in death, the plant refused to yield, fangs still stuck in it's prey's flesh, though now it was easily torn apart and removed. From atop the pillar, the strange ball continued to pulsate, though at a different pace now that all the monsters within it were gone. It began to look increasingly strange in the otherwise barren room... ENEMIES-??? - x1Some sort of Spore on the top of a pillar, when it was stuck, it summoned monsters from hiding around the room. It seems to be releasing small spores constantly- perhaps there is something special about it that the monsters want to protect? Current Location: Red Jungle, South Petal Chamber [spoiler=Places of Interest.] Places of Interest: • South Petal Chamber: This is the first room you can enter in the main portion of the Red Jungle. It is a large, generally empty room, filled with large red trees that just seem like they're waiting to drink your blood. The sky is obscured by the canopy of the trees, which is crossed with blood red vines. While it seems mostly empty, it is circled on all sides by the same stiff, red walls of plant matter that make up the outer walls. While it seems to have a little give, the walls seem completely impenetrable and have no give. At two points on either side, there are indents that may have once been door-like structures, but are now covered in the red plant-walls and twined with thick red tendrils of plant matter that don't appear elsewhere. The tendrils don't appear to be vulnerable- is there another place you can attack them from, I wonder? • ???: What was once a door to the west, this gap between the walls has long been filled in by thick, red tendrils of plant matter that don't seem like they're going to budge any time soon. • ???: What was once a door to the east, this gap between the walls has long been filled in by thick, red tendrils of plant matter that don't seem like they're going to budge any time soon. • ???: What was once a door to the north to the eastern side, this gap between the walls has long been filled in by thick, red tendrils of plant matter that don't seem like they're going to budge any time soon. • Strange Pillar: Located at the South-Eastern corner, this stiff red pillar of plant has a large black head that pulsates occasionally, drifting a crimson mist into the air. It didn't seem to happy to be shot, and called a bunch of other Red Jungle plants to defend it when attacked- Wonder if it's important to the Jungle some how? You've ticked off the strange pillar and caused it to summon some enemies. On the bright side, it means that you must be doing something that causes it to panic, if it gives such an immediate reaction. Exits: • Outer Jungle: The bulk and perhaps relatively safest part of the Red Jungle, this giant ring of threatening and hungry-seeming thorned plants seems to have little to get in your way. It grows outward, building up new trees and plants in its way. While it is an uncomfortable and rather frightful walk, there is little to hurt you so long as you stay on the proper path. The air is thick with pollen that can cloud the mind, from every plant on each side. You've already entered the main part of the Red Jungle, why do you want to go back so quickly? [spoiler= Reg. post]Sariri giggled. "Nice that you think so." She chuckled to herself, glancing around. "According to Rito Legend, the Yatagarasu is a messenger of the Wind Gods- Like Valoo, though not necessarily him in particular- who was both blessed and cursed to fly the winds forevermore. The Yatagarasu is bound in lies, darkness and evil, yet it searches for what is good, true and light. It's said in the old days, before we found Valoo, sometimes three-legged ravens would visit the Rito people and give them special gifts... Songs that could change the winds, fangs that made one immortal, scales that allowed them to grow wings..."She giggled. "It's just a legend these days. We don't have any real three-legged Ravens, at least not anymore. Though the name's fairly popular around Rito thieves with large egos."The black-haired Rito glanced over at her companion, trying to ignore the distinct swamp-sting and disgusting feel of the squishy earth. "Did the Gerudo ever have legends like that?" she inquired, honestly curious. She didn't know that much about the mythology of the other races, especially the reclusive Gerudo. All she knew was that they worshiped some Goddess of the Sand that a few Hylian theologists liked to equate wither their Goddess Din. Not really anything in particular stood out. Shadow Zero
Raven had been deep in his own worried thoughts, trying to decide as to whether or not he should try and do something. He didn't want to offend Mira and make her think that he didn't trust her to look after herself, but he was honestly worried that something terrible was happening. He had almost not heard Deralen when he asked if there was something wrong, and although he was highly distracted at the moment, he still noticed the worried tone in his friends voice and wanted to reassure him. "No, nothings wrong. I was just wondering what other surprises there might be. Now, let's see what's behind this here door." Raven turns back to the door and with a practiced flick of the wrist, tossed the key into the lock from where he was standing just a few feet away as he walked up to it. Upon reach the door, he strikes the top half of the key in a sideways motion, causing it to turn and unlock the door. I wish there was something that I could do, but I'll just have to trust that Mira will be safe with Lorenz and Billos. Now, let's see what's behind door number three. Andx
The final enemy defeated, Lorenz stopped his jewel's power. The lance still stuck in the remains of the creature, and his shield fell into loose water again. Billos has gotten the creature off of him and as Lorenz noticed he had several distinct bite marks. Some of them looked decently bad. Lorenz could probably heal them but it would no doubt take a bit of time and all of the jewel's power for a day."You okay Billos? I might be able to heal the various bites but it would really slow us down. Think you can keep going?" Lorenz said. Though he hadn't been hit he was decently tired. Lorenz's breathing was heavy from the activity. His blood had really been pumping for a minute or two and even that much activity on land was pretty tough for him. As Lorenz looked over to Mira's location he noticed she'd fallen to the ground. No doubt she was unconscious. He thought he noticed an odd glow but Lorenz didn't think all that much of it."Well it looks like we have a bit of time while we wait for Mira to wake up." Lorenz said as his breath slowly began getting back to normal. With that Lorenz looked to the pillar. There was a strange orb on top of it. Lorenz had to wonder if Mira had been tampering with it while they were separated. Regardless, it was the only remotely interesting object left in the immediate area and would no doubt require closer inspection after the group was all ready to go again. Saiba Aisu
[spoiler=Regular Post.]Erzet nodded in reply to the Rito girl's remark, quickening his pace as they continued to move across the murky and misty landscape of the Haunted Swamplands, which was beginning to incline downwards. "Yes," he replied, "there are several legends like that passed down through my people's culture—they preserve our sacred histories and teach us lessons about the past." Although it was growing much darker now, the Gerudo's sharp eyes could still make out Sariri's curious and sincerely interested expression, so he decided to elaborate, if only to keep the conversation flowing against the gloomy atmosphere of the swamps. "The earliest stories in my tribe are about how we crossed into this land and settled the Great Desert," he explained, bringing to mind one of the stories he had heard regularly since childhood. "We were nomads then," he added, "living on our wits and strength, moving from place to place with no particular pattern like the desert wind. At that time, the land we inhabited was bordered by the harsh desert, where no life bloomed and no one dared to go... It was only after the Goddess of the Sand spoke to the Chieftain in a dream that we crossed to the desert's other side, and since then, the Gerudo have been desert thieves." As if he had been waiting for the end of the thief's story, Enthai came to a sudden stop in front of them, standing absolutely still, as if he had been frozen. Erzet and Sariri came to a halt and exchanged curious looks. "Is something wrong, Enthai?" he asked the Zora, coming around to stand at their guide's side. "We're here," Enthai said softly, his fishlike face drained of color as he pointed directly in front of them, into the thick shrouds of cold mist that hugged the ground. Ahead of them was an oily, stagnant lake, bordered on all sides by banks of thick gray mud and slowly rotting plants and logs. Every now and then, the water would ripple slightly as unseen horrors passed out of sight, disturbing the green scum that covered its surface. From the far side of the lake, a large and shadowy figure reared from the murky ground—as the mists parted, the companions could see that it was the skull of some enormous long-dead creature. Although the creature's jaw was out of sight, sunken into the ground, its mouth gaped open into inky blackness, and it was supported on either side by crumbling, weathered stone pillars. There was no sound but the occasional squelch or splash of water and no smell but the foul scent of decay: it was a place of misery, silence, and death. They had arrived at the Sunken Skull Dungeon. [spoiler=GM Post.] GM Post: Dream DungeonGM Post: Dream Dungeon "Hey, wait up for me, guys!" Skull Kid called after Deralen and Raven, hurrying after his companions as they burst from the Meditation Alcove and hurtled back up the stairs towards the Path of Visions. Although the forest-child's legs were shorter than those of his companions, he was fast and in good shape, so he managed to catch the others only a moment after they came to a stop in front of the silver-chained door to the left of the limestone pavilion. Skull Kid watched with bright eyes as Raven inserted the silver key into the lock and turned—with a metallic clatter, the chains and lock slid off the door's frame onto the ground, where they were easily pushed aside. Now that the lock was gone, the three Champions could make out the encircled wavy line design that characterized an unlocked door in the Dream Dungeon. With a steady motion, Raven placed his palm upon the door and it slid upwards out of sight with a low rumble, allowing them passage into the next room. The three companions moved past quickly without a word, and the same rumble filled the air briefly as the door returned to its previous position. This new area was much larger than the Meditation Alcove had been—although it was not very wide, its long frame stretched far ahead, and unlike the sunny recesses of the previous room, it was lit exclusively by torches that blazed with a purple flame. Directly in front of the trio was an elevated pedestal identical to the one they had used to enter the Dream World in the Path of Visions; not too far ahead of that, the neatly-paved limestone floor came to an alarming halt, dropping off into a shadowy pit whose depths were indiscernible. On the other side of the abyss, they could make out large wooden shape of a chest, no doubt containing another valuable piece of treasure that would be necessary to proceed further through the Dream Dungeon. However, one glance was enough to convince even the most optimistic of the Champions that they would not be able to cross the shadowy gap. Current Location: Unseen Way [spoiler=Places of Interest] Places of Interest: • Unseen Way: A long limestone room that stretches far ahead of you, it is dominated by a shadowy pit that prevents you from crossing to the other side and obtaining the treasure from the wooden chest. It does not seem like you'll be able to make it across the gap by conventional methods, but there should be some way to reveal a path. • Elevated Pedestal: Located directly in front of you, this circular pedestal is identical to the one you previously used to enter the Dream World. Last time, entering a room's mysterious twin provided you with some handy clues, so this is all you have to work with, for the moment. In order to enter the Dream World, you must fall into a deep sleep upon the pedestal. Exits: • Unseen Way Access: The drop-down stone door from which you just entered, it does not seem unlocked, meaning that you can leave the room at any time you wish. However, as it only leads you back to the Path of Visions, this does not seem very helpful.
Blake
Billos just mumbled. "I'm fine." He stood up, after falling to his rump from exhaustion, and walked to Lorenz who had begun to walk. He had been near Mira when he looked at the pillar and the orb, drawinf Billos' eye as well. He saw the odd ball. "What do you think it does?" He asked staring at the thing. It mesmerized him, and he was surprised he had not noticed it sooner. As he thought, he wondered. Did it have something to do with this area. "Lorenz, throw a little icicle at that thing." He said, unmoving.
Shadow Zero
Raven walked further into the room, his eyes carefully looking everything over. It was fairly clear to him that the wooden chest on the other side of the giant gap in this room was the purpose for the locked door. Walking over to the chasm on the other side of the raised pedestal he stooped to pick up a loose rock and tossed it upwards and forwards. It raised up a little bit before falling in an arc. Several seconds later, Raven was sure that if the rock had not already hit the bottom, they would not hear even the slightest echo when it did. He turned his face upwards from where it had traced the stones descent, a very serious look on his face. Despite his earlier decision, he was still feeling uneasy and wondered if everything was all right with his fellow champions in the other dungeons, as well as Mira. Turning around abruptly, he heads over to the raised pedestal and sits in the center with his legs crossed and his hands clasped in front of him. "Deralen, if you would be so kind as to join me." There was only one way that they were going to be able to continue forward. They would once again have to travel into the Dream World.
encapturer
Deralen's glance landed directly on the chasm ahead, sizing it up as only a Goron Racer could. "How boring," he muttered to himself as he learned there was no way he was going to cross that pit. As Raven watched the stone he threw fall down the gap, Deralen shook his head, sighing. He couldn't even *try* to cross it. His attention was drawn to the raised platform next, once Raven called him over. "Sure thing!" he called out as he hurried over to join Raven on the pedestal. He'll have to head to that dream world again; and probably have to deal with a doorless room, but that wasn't bothering him right now. At least there probably won't be a pointless pit there... Andx
"Unfortunately ice isn't my thing. This is where Mira would be helpful." Lorenz said. Something was bugging him. He walked over to Mira's location and noticed she hadn't moved from when she fell over and something was glowing. From what Lorenz could tell it was the necklace she had made."I really hope you're just asleep. I guess I'll come back and check after I finish examining this thing." Lorenz thought. He walked a bit back towards Billos and the tower."Say Billos, you don't suppose trying to hit this thing was what summoned those monsters do you? There's nothing else around here and Mira was on her own. Think she may have tried to hit it and triggered that attack?" Lorenz said. It was a thought he had but he doubted it was true. How could the monsters respond to something like that? Lorenz then held his arms up in front of him. He was preparing to launch his fins in a boomerang like fashion, something he really disliked doing but he decided to conserve the jewel's energy. The glowing jewel Mira had made and the mind controlling monsters still nagged at his thoughts. Despite the thoughts he threw the fins as he flung his arms down. The fins flew off on course to hit the top of the sphere. Lorenz disliked the feeling but he wasn't really concerned with it. He raised his arms again, preparing to receive the fins upon their return.
Saiba Aisu
[spoiler=Regular Post.]Erzet was the first to speak as the three companions gazed in horrified silence at the entrance to the Sunken Skull Dungeon and the sickly decay that surrounded it. Although the Gerudo's voice was firm and did not waver, his sun-browned face was pale—to the thief, the stagnant water, the rotting plants, and the squelching mud underneath their feet were especially hideous and almost unbearable. "It's okay, Enthai," he said after a moment, placing his hand on the trembling Zora's shoulder. "You've already done Sariri and I a big favor by leading us here—without you, who knows if we would have ever made it this far through the Haunted Swamplands. You don't have to come inside with us." Enthai nodded slowly, but his eyes were still trained upon the huge skull rising from the marshy ground on the other side of the foul lake, and there was terror in his gaze. For a moment, Erzet's eyes were filled with confusion and concern—he might not know much about the ways of wetlanders, but he recognized fear when he saw it... and the Zora was very much afraid of the Sunken Skull Dungeon. Perhaps it had something to do with his past, with why he was living in the middle of the swamps by himself; for the time being, however, it was clear to Erzet that Enthai was not in any condition to answer any questions. "I guess this is good-bye then, Enthai," Erzet said, moving forward towards the lake's muddy shore without looking back. "Thanks for everything you've done for us," he continued. Sariri also muttered her thanks and started forward, but there was something vital missing from her pace, which was usually filled with energy and cheerfulness. "G-good-bye," Enthai managed, staring forlornly after the two Champions as they disappeared in the cold mists ringing the Sunken Skull Dungeon. He watched them go for a moment, two blurred figures moving around the water slowly towards the skull on the other side, and then they were gone from view. The Zora stood there for a long time, even after he could no longer see them, and it was with a heavy heart that he turned away, wishing bitterly that he had never brought the travelers to this spot, and hoping that they would somehow manage to survive the horrors that undoubtedly awaited them inside. [spoiler=GM Post.] GM Post: Dream DungeonGM Post: Dream Dungeon "Alright, guys," Skull Kid said in a slightly forced voice, as if the blackness of the gaping pit in front of them had swallowed his usual cheeriness and energy whole. The forest-child raised his wooden flute to his lips and blew softly, coaxing the gentle and soothing music of the Song of Slumber from the instrument with his usual skill. Despite their depressing surroundings and their unease, both Deralen and Raven felt themselves relaxing at the sweet sound, their shoulders bowing forwards, their bodies falling softly to one side as a deep sleep claimed them once more. Then they were slipping away from the colorful bubbles of consciousness into the rushing darkness, and with a sudden jolt, they woke up, getting to their feet warily and gazing about their surroundings. Just like before, the circular, elevated pedestal began to glow with a silvery and insistent light as soon as the two Champions stepped off it, ready to transport them back to the Waking World if needed. Whereas the torches' flame had been purple in the Waking World, a dull silver fire was the source of illumination here, casting wan light on the scene from high above on the walls. Above them, the same limestone ceiling shut out the bizarre scarlet and black sky from view. Raven and Deralen, however, only had eyes for the room around them, which seemed very much like it had before, with only a few key differences to help them tell the two apart. Their faces filled with dismay as they registered the same shadowy abyss from before, which seemed somehow darker and deeper, if that were possible—they soon brightened, however, as they discerned a series of circular floating platforms that dotted the gap, separated from each other by a fair distance. On the other side of the pit, in place of the large wooden chest they had seen earlier, the two Champions could also make out two tall torches standing apart from each other, seemingly begging to be lit. Current Location: Unseen Way (Dream World) [spoiler=Places of Interest] Places of Interest: • Unseen Way (Dream World): A long limestone room that stretches far ahead of you, it is dominated by a shadowy pit that prevents you from crossing to the other side. However, whereas this room's Waking World twin possessed no way across, this room features several circular platforms that appear to be floating firmly in place over the gap, provided you can cross them. • Elevated Pedestal: Located directly behind you, this circular pedestal is identical to the one you previously used to return to the Waking World. Just like last time, it glows with a gentle silver light that will return to you to the Waking World if you step in it, but there's still much to be accomplished in this room first. • Unlit Torches: Two tall and identical unlit torches that stand where the large wooden chest was in the Waking World, they are located across the make-shift bridge of floating platforms. Their positioning is most likely significant—it's highly probable that lighting them will set some sort of activity into motion, but unless one of you possesses the ability to light things on fire, you're out of luck, since the silver-flame torches on the walls are out of reach. • Floating Platforms: A series of circular stone platforms, they appear to be floating steadily in mid-air, providing a path across the shadowy pit that involves plenty of jumping. Although the platforms seem solid enough, it is very unlikely that someone very heavy would be able to make the necessary jumps between them—an adult human in good shape would be much more suitable. Exits: • N/A: Just as it was with the Path of Visions in the Dream World, this room does not seem to have any viable exits. For the time being, it is impossible to progress from this room on this plane of consciousness. If you wish to chicken out and return to the Waking World, however, there's always for the glowing silver pedestal, right? OoC: Okay, guys, so again, this puzzle isn't exactly brain surgery. Both Raven and Deralen will be required to solve it successfully. Shadow Zero, I trust you'll enjoy this chance to use your Fire Mystery Seeds. I'll make another OoC post if you guys encounter any trouble, but I have faith in you.
Shadow Zero
Raven awoke, immediately springing up into a crouching position and grabbing onto his hand cannon as he looked around. He didn't see any enemies in the room, which he supposed was a good thing for now. It still unsettled him just a little bit that they had not run into any sort of guards during the whole time that they had been in the Dream Dungeon. It's almost to quiet here. I would have expected to at least run into some type of creature by now, and yet the whole dungeon seems to be mercifully absent, even in the Dream World. Raven was, in a way, glad that they had not needed to do fighting yet. Still, he found it unsettling that the Dream Dungeon was so empty. Deciding to push it from his mind for now Raven turned around and almost swore aloud when he saw that the chasm was still there. However, just before he did, he noticed that there were several platforms spanning the seemingly bottomless chasm that separated them from the small area on the other side of which bore two unlit torches. Well, at least there's a way forward. I swear though, if those platforms are set to fall the moment that those torches are lit...well, there isn't any other way, so I'll have to risk it. Without a word to Deralen, Raven leaps across to the first platform after they had both walked off of the raised pedestal, landing on it and staying still for a few moments so as to make sure that the platform would not suddenly fall and trap him outside of jumping distance of the raised pedestal. Finding it to be solid enough for a platform that had no visible supports, he continued running and jumping across the other platforms until he had reached the other side of the chasm and came to a stop between the two unlit torches on it. Raven was breathing a little heavier then usual due to his run, but didn't let the fact that he was slightly winded slow him down and immediately drew his hand cannon. Holding it in his right hand, he aims it to the left and slightly upwards, firing it into the outside edge of the unlit torch. He then holds it out to the right and slightly upwards and repeats the action before holstering his hand cannon. Each time a seed had been fired from it, there had been a small explosion of flame that had completely engulfed the unlit torch in flames, leaving them both to burn brightly after the small explosions had subsided. His task completed, Raven immediately turns around, just in case the platforms might suddenly decide to fall, and starts to head back.
Saiba Aisu
GM Post: Dream DungeonGM Post: Dream Dungeon Unfortunately for Raven, however, as soon as the two identical torches were lit, a deep rumble filled the air. Although he moved quite quickly, he only managed a few steps before it was too late. The Hylian knight could only watch in dismay as one by one, the floating stone platforms cracked, shuddered, and then collapsed into several fragments that plummeted slowly out of view into the shadows of the abyss below. The make-shift bridge was gone, swallowed up as if it had never been. Although he had been fast in his attempts to get back to the other side, it had not been enough—for the moment, at least, Raven was trapped. Then, after one heart-stopping moment of panic, a second deep rumble filled the air, and the stone floor of the Unseen Way groaned and shuddered with its passing. All Raven and Deralen could do was watch as a segment of the right-hand limestone wall bordering the pit slid sideways, supported on either end by sturdy metallic clasps. There was a second and smaller shudder behind Raven, and the Hylian knight turned with surprise to see a segment of the flat wall behind him rotating, revealing yet another rusted switch. Although the two Champions were too relieved to think about such matters, it was clear that the Dream Dungeon had demonstrated its mechanical ingenuity once more. As soon as the torches had been lit, the make-shift bridge had disappeared, and a flat and fairly wide stone surface had slid out and sideways from where it had been cunningly concealed. Although there was still much mystery surrounding the dungeon and the nature of the Dream World, it appeared that while objects and constructs were weathered away in the Waking World, they endured in the Dream World, pristine and untouched in ideological perfection. For the meantime, however, it was suffice to say that the way had been opened. Current Location: Unseen Way (Dream World) [spoiler=Places of Interest] Places of Interest: • Unseen Way (Dream World): A long limestone room that stretches far ahead of you, it is dominated by a shadowy pit that prevents you from crossing to the other side. However, Raven had recently lit the twin torches that lay across it, activating the slide-out stone bridge and revealing a hidden indent that houses another rusted switch. • Elevated Pedestal: Located directly behind you, this circular pedestal is identical to the one you previously used to return to the Waking World. Just like last time, it glows with a gentle silver light that will return to you to the Waking World if you step in it, but there's still much to be accomplished in this room first. • Rusted Switch: A large rusted switch that was previously concealed, it has seen been revealed by Raven's puzzle-solving and is located directly behind him. Although it's sure to activate something important, it doesn't seem like an ordinary human will be able to generate enough force to push it down. • Slide-Out Stone Bridge: A stable and fairly wide stone sheet that was cunningly concealed in the wall, it has since been deployed by Raven's puzzle-solving, allowing safe passage across the gap, regardless of weight or jumping ability. It even seems like it would be able to support more than one person if necessary, due to the sturdy metallic clasps that fix it to the wall. Exits: • N/A: Just as it was with the Path of Visions in the Dream World, this room does not seem to have any viable exits. For the time being, it is impossible to progress from this room on this plane of consciousness. Now that you've solved part of the puzzle, you may return to the Waking World using the glowing silver pedestal, but there's still one thing left to do before you do so. Shadow Zero
Raven had thought for a moment that he had been trapped. The moment both torches had been lit, the platforms had crumbled and fallen into the chasm that separated the small are that he was on, and the considerably larger area that Deralen was currently standing on. The color momentarily drained from Ravens face, but started returning once he saw that lighting the torches had activated a hidden mechanism that caused a concealed bridge to slide into place and allow free passage across the chasm. Raven holsters his hand cannon and walks across the bridge, stopping next to Deralen before turning around and facing across the chasm to where the rusted switch was now in place. "Well, I think I'll leave that switch to you, Deralen." Raven sits on the ground with his legs crossed and closes his eyes. He clasps his hands in front of himself and starts meditating in an attempt to calm himself, all the while aware that the Earrings Mira had given him were still glowing brightly. Aqua Girl
Mira yelped as her guard was broken, as Gandorf swung down his blade she said silently "Help", when sudenly a Blade came from no where as stabed Gandorf, he disapated in a flush of shadows, he was just a shadow of Gandorf. Mira peeked open her eyes to see a hand open to her with a boy behind it smileing. Mira opened her eyes to see she was still in the forest, she heard Lorenz shout, as he launched his fins. As Mira stumbled up Gandorf's face flashed in to her mind, "Why are these memories coming back to me now?" Mira contemplated as she wandered to the spot where she heard Lorenz. encapturer
"Got it," Deralen nodded enthusiastically as he scrambled to the newly-made bridge. Earlier, he feared that Raven would get cut off, but seeing the large bridge form, he became much more relaxed. Throughout this dungeon so far all the puzzles have been solvable with the three of them, simply by virtue of who they were. He didn't take much stock on the accuracy of legends and predictions, preferring not to know the future, but even Deralen was enjoying how smoothly things were going because of that knowledge. Once across with Raven, Deralen placed himself on the switch, now confident his mass alone will activate it. "What can *this* one do?" he muttered to himself before doing so. He faintly recalled that there were dangers here, according to Princess Zelda and her scouts. This was the probably the deepest anyone has gone recently, so whatever she was warning them of would have to be in an earlier room. At least there's no doors in this world... Saiba Aisu
GM Post: Dream DungeonGM Post: Dream Dungeon As the Goron's considerable weight pushed the rusted switch down with a brief screech followed a mechanized click, yet another rumble filled the air around the two Champions, although it seemed somehow muted and far away compared to the one from before. After the rumbling faded away, leaving silence in its wake, they looked carefully around the room for signs of any importance. Although no change seemed to have taken place in the Dream World, both Deralen and Raven knew that it was highly likely that their actions here had had some sort of effect on this room's double in the Waking World, and they were eager to return to Skull Kid and awaken from their deep, vivid sleep. As Deralen and Raven moved purposefully towards the glowing silver pedestal where they had originally appeared in the room, they could not but be a little flushed with their success—thus far, they had encountered no enemies, and solved all of the puzzles thrown at them with considerable ease. The two Champions' spirits were high and filled with confidence: if the rest of the dungeon was designed similarly, it would be all too easy to finish this mission with minimum difficulty. How very wrong they were. The familiar silver light enveloped the two Champions as they stepped atop the glowing pedestal, increasing in intensity and brilliance until they screwed their eyes shut to block it out. With the same feeling of uncomfortable weight and rushing darkness, they came back to their bodies in the Waking World, opening their eyes at the same time and standing up quickly from the ground, looking around for the supposed fruit of their labors in the Dream World. Fortunately, they did not have to look long—directly across from them, Skull Kid was pointing eagerly at a very familiar-looking stone bridge, extending from the right-hand wall bordering the shadowy gap, supported by sturdy mechanical clasps. The stone bridge spanned the gap perfectly in a straight line, coming to rest directly at the foot of the large wooden chest. Skull Kid whistled appreciatively. "Whoever the builders of this place were, they sure were smart!" he chirped, eyes flashing with excitement and a wide grin on his face. Current Location: Unseen Way [spoiler=Places of Interest] Places of Interest: • Unseen Way: A long limestone room that stretches far ahead of you, it is dominated by a shadowy pit whose depths are indiscernible. Your puzzle-solving efforts in the Dream World have activated the slide-out stone bridge, allowing you safe passage to the other side of the room.... Just don't fall off! • Elevated Pedestal: Located directly behind you, this circular pedestal is identical to the one you previously used to enter the Dream World. Now that you have recently used it to enter the Dream World, solve some puzzles, and then return, there does not seem to be much point in using it again. • Slide-Out Stone Bridge: A stable and fairly wide stone sheet that was cunningly concealed in the wall, it has since been deployed by your puzzle-solving in the Dream World, allowing safe passage across the gap, regardless of weight or jumping ability. It even seems like it would be able to support more than one person if necessary, due to the sturdy metallic clasps that fix it to the wall. • Large Wooden Chest: A sizable wooden chest located on the other side of the Unseen Way, it is much larger than the ones you have previously opened—therefore, it stands to reason that the treasure hidden inside will be that much better, right? Whatever this treasure is, you've earned it, so hurry up and collect it! Exits: • Unseen Way Access: The drop-down stone door from which you just entered, it does not seem unlocked, meaning that you can leave the room at any time you wish. Now that you have revealed a safe path that allows you to access the large wooden chest, it's time to collect your treasure and move purposefully back to the Path of Visions. Shadow Zero
Raven was glad to see that the way to the large wooden chest that had once been unreachable was now able to be easily approached using a bridge that was the exact twin of the one that had been revealed in the Dream World, and he also noticed that his earrings had stopped glowing. The current rate of success coupled with a feeling that Mira was no longer in danger lifted his spirits considerably, resulting in another one of his reactions that would have been expected from Skull Kid. As soon as he had seen that the bridge was in place and was not an illusion of some sort, he ran straight for the chest and grabbed either side of the lid, lifting it to get his hands underneath so as to fling it open and grab the treasure that awaited inside of it. Hydra of Ages
[spoiler= GM Post]GM Post: Red JungleGM Post: Red Jungle The fin formerly attached to the Zora Lorenz shot clear and true on its path, its sharp edge quick to cut through the lump of plant matter in its way. The crimson orb gave a shriek that caused the very walls of the Jungle to creak ominously, their rosy-pink sheen, for the very slightest second, fading. The Boomerang-weapon emerged a second later from the opposite side of the large spore-pod, speckled with red spores that it had gained from its travels. The pulsating red sphere compressed and expelled vast quantities of a powder-like red substance, gushing from it like blood, until the twin wounds on either end of it finally conquered the strange lifeform, reducing it to a lifeless husk akin to a dried out plant bulb. The very pillar it stood on rumbled at this development, eventually unwinding like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle, until they had collapsed upon the ground with large thumps of lumber-like green wood. This did not go unmatched, as two of the four walls encasing the small area received a similar treatment. Plantlife wilted and fell from it, crumbling against the floor of the jungle brown and evidently sucked of all moisture and energy. They twitched once, but were quickly covered in a veritable windfall of dying foliage, finally ending as great, massive arms of plant life fell from two sides with a great rip, revealing large stone doors behind them marked with an odd symbol that defied any attempts at investigation. Though solid, the rock seals look very movable, at least with their covering of red plant matter around them, and once one managed to dig through the pool of browned plant life, seemed simple enough to open. Two doors stood twin on the two walls, though a third bulge in a third wall looked similar to the former shapes of the other two doors. Unlike the others, however, the plant seal upon that wall seemed to keep up well enough, surviving even without the Spore in order to keep them sustained. • ???: A rock door to the East, unlocked and easy enough to move by someone who wants to get past it. Previously sealed by the walls of vegetation, breaking apart the Large Spore in the room seemed to remove the blocking branches. • ???: A rock door to the North, unlocked and easy enough to move by someone who wants to get past it. Previously sealed by the walls of vegetation, breaking apart the Large Spore in the room seemed to remove the blocking branches. • ???: What was once a door to the east, this gap between the walls has long been filled in by thick, red tendrils of plant matter that don't seem like they're going to budge any time soon. Unlike the East and North doors, this one still seems blocked. OOC: Well, you've gotten past the intro portion. Time to get really deep into the temple as a whole; So, let's pick your door. [spoiler= Reg. post]Sariri ruffled her ebon feathers a little, as she felt the stiff quills poke against the inside of her sleeve. At another time, she would think that her body was telling her to take to the air and escape the boring ground; Unfortunately, according to her sweaty palms and dilated pupils, she'd more likely leave out of fear rather than disinterest. She swallowed a little and tried to keep her posture. She didn't want to let her partner know she was, perhaps, having second thoughts. It wasn't even for the reason he would suspect, even. Sariri was sure the noble thief beside her would take her adventurous spirit for granted, maybe even assume that she hadn't properly thought out all the consequences and horrors her lifestyle may bring to the forefront. That was false, as far as Sariri saw it. She knew she'd venture dangerous places, areas where life feared to tread. She had always known that; in fact, she relished it within the core of her soul. She was courageous, or at least she tended to think so; Perhaps it was just the bravado talking, but there were very few places she wouldn't want to take a step into. However, at the simple sight of the gleaming white dome that was the entrance to the Sunken Skull Temple, she felt her tongue go dry, her legs lose their vigor, and perhaps even the bob of her hair flatten out somewhat in response to the sudden whiplash of emotions. Truthfully, she had expected it before; thought the trek through the swamps, she had merely suspected she had distaste for the location and the troubles it brought on in transversing it. Not so. Sariri felt like she should have known. Since when had she ever been bothered by things like mud in her talons? Never. Something else had been turning her off about the marsh. Something greater than what she had previously assumed. And though she couldn't tell at the time, the source of the discomforting feeling became quickly apparent to her. And this ivory bone, glowing in the putrid mess of sludge and marsh water like a pearl amongst the mud, seemed to be the source of that distaste. It was a mockery, she realized. A mockery for what she stood for. The zest for life, the pursuit of total and complete freedom she wanted to enjoy, the long, blank open spaces... This foul dungeon was nothing more than a Mausoleum. A prison for the dead, surrounded by the fetid remains of life and death; so much that the line between them had been blurred. The dying plant life, and the decomposed remains of the long-gone... the boundaries between unholy blaspheme and simple nature in the world had been stretched to their breaking point, until they homogenized to an incomprehensible sludge that was contained within the pearly white maws of the temple's entrance. She really didn't want to enter. Her senses were screaming at her to do something, anything, whatever she could in order to escape. They pleaded at her, like they always did, find somewhere else to go, a new roost... you can fly, they yelled. You can always run... never stay too long in the same place, right? And she almost listened to them. Only if... She glanced over briefly at her Gerudo companion. It was only a breif look, but she realized quickly that whatever it was she did, she couldn't let him go in there alone. What was it about that? Sariri never really cared that much about others before. She wasn't exactly what you would consider a 'charitable person'. But... neither had she really had many friends. Despite her outgoing personality, her reluctance to set down roots and her annoying habits... she pushed away relationships more than she made them. And yet, this one, for whatever reason, she cherished like the scale she held against her breast. Maybe it was the fact she already opened up to him a little, and thus felt a bit attached. Maybe it was the fact she had gotten used to his company and having it was around. Heck, it could even have been that she just liked seeing his reactions when she teased him. No, as much as she wanted to fly away, she had indeed set down one, tiny little root that she didn't want to break off. And that root lead to the Sunken Skull Dungeon, apparently. Only one thing for it, then. She rectified the spring in her step and lept forward, onto the next piece of solid land. She quickly balanced herself, chuckled, turned around and smirked at Erzet. "What's the matter Erzet? Scared?" she mocked in a cocky tone, chuckling as she unhooked her Grappling Hook from her waist, and finally settling into a mischievous smile as she twirled the pseudo-weapon at her fingertip. It felt good to have something familiar like it to grab onto.
encapturer
Deralen nodded to Skull Kid. "Yeah. I still don't understand how this works, but it's working!" he replied before Raven darted towards the chest. Before Deralen could say "Uhwaaa?", Raven was already in front of the chest. Deralen made his was across the bridge slowly, still wondering why the pit was here in the first place Deralen stopped halfway. after noticing that there were no exits in that direction, only the chest. "What'cha get?" he asked, his voice filled with excitement. There can't be much left to that main room, after all, he figured. Wish I didn't have to fall asleep all the time, Deralen thought, rubbing the back of his neck.
Saiba Aisu
[spoiler=GM Post (Dream Dungeon]GM Post: Dream DungeonGM Post: Dream Dungeon Despite its deceptively regular-looking exterior, it became clear to the companions that this was no ordinary piece of parchment. Upon its ancient yellowing surface were outlined several squares, connected by a series of lines that grew in thickness. It was obvious that the parchment was a map of some sort, but what was truly interesting was a curious silver-colored star-shaped mark located at the far end of one such room, which was emitting a gentle light and blinking slowly. Raven moved slowly to the left, pacing slightly, and to his surprise, so did the glowing mark, keeping speed with him as he did. "It's a magic map!" Skull Kid breathed, sharing an excited look with Deralen. The three companions blinked with sudden interest as a new mark appeared upon the map—although it was also star-shaped, this mark was colored purple, and did not blink. They watched silently as the purple star moved away from the silver mark indicating their position, crossing the square they now recognized as the Unseen Way and coming to a slow halt at the center of the Path of Visions. Exits: • Unseen Way Access: The drop-down stone door from which you just entered, it does not seem unlocked, meaning that you can leave the room at any time you wish. He slowed his pace and came to a stop at its border, each of his senses urging him desperately against going inside. The skull's jaws gaped open, fangs hanging above their heads like polished stalactites. He brought to mind what Princess Zelda had mentioned about the Sunken Skull Dungeon, that it was most likely an expansive underground complex—it was clear, then, that her scouts had not dared to venture within the shadowy depths of the skull. Next to him, through the dark and mist, he could just make out the outline of his Rito companion, who had somehow managed to hold onto her usual combination of cheerfulness and cockiness. "What's the matter, Erzet? Scared?" she asked mockingly, grasping her Grappling Hook with a practiced air. At Sariri's words, a hot feeling swept through Erzet's body, replacing his wariness with determination. The Gerudo's green eyes flashed brilliantly in the gloom at the prospect of a challenge. Who cared that the dungeon before them was most likely filled with all sorts of horrors and monsters—after all, wasn't glory and riches what Gerudo Thieves were known to live for? For the first time since entering the Haunted Swamplands, a genuine smile appeared on Erzet's face. "Not even close," he replied. "Before this dungeon is through, I'll make you eat those words, Sariri." The thief swung one of the supply satchels off his back and opened it, drawing two torches from within as well as a flint. Determined or not, only a fool would be so stupid as to wander into the blackness of the skull's mouth without lighting a torch first. And as had been Erzet's experience so far in his life, fools had a tendency to end up dead. It wasn't exactly easy to create a spark with the numbing, damp mist around them, but he managed in the end, handing Sariri one of the flaming torches. They shared one last look before exchanging a brief nod and starting forward, moving into the shadow of the skull's mouth, the flames casting bizarre shadows in front of them. Erzet led the way, his torch held high to cast the most illumination, his face masked to block the putrid smell, his right hand on his scimitar, ready to draw it at a moment's notice. They had only gone a handful of steps, however, when the earth around them came alive, groaning and shuddering as if in an earthquake. They turned and tried to escape the same way they had entered, but it was already too late—with a resounding clash, the jagged fangs of the upper jaw slammed into the ground, crushing anything in their path. A gust of cold wind filtered by them, extinguishing their torches in an almost fastidious manner, leaving them alone and trapped in the foul-smelling darkness. Panic seized Erzet briefly as he pounded futilely against the smooth bone, but in his heart he knew it was futile—the walls were as hard as stone and slippery, meaning that there was no way they could be scaled. At that moment, several green lights blossomed behind them. Erzet and Sariri whirled around in surprise to see several emerald-colored orbs floating gently in place, emitting a sinister glow of the same color. With the bizarre lighting in place, the two Champions could make out a set of carved stone stairs sunken into the ground in front of them, leading further underground into the Sunken Skull Dungeon. Erzet glanced briefly at Sariri, then dropped his extinguished torch to the muddy ground, since it was clearly unnecessary due to the mysterious green lights. His skin tingling with cold and his nerves drawn more tightly than ever before, the thief strode forward and led the way down the stairs.
encapturer
"This... is... awesome..." Deralen said, mouth wide open. He had heard of such treasures that show its own location, but to see one in action is something else entirely. He wasn't sure if it could be used outside of this dungeon, but it should be useful here, at least, he figured. After gazing at the map, Deralen walked back to the other side of the pathway, so his large body would not get in the way. He stared at the doorway leading back, rubbing his chin for awhile, before grazing his cheek with the side of his gauntlet. They had been disengaged the entire time and shifted to the side to allow him to pick things up. For now, he shifted them back into position; he wasn't quite sure if they were built to hang loose for extended periods of time. "Uhwaa... What *else* is hidden in that room?!" Deralen said as he opened the door and stepped through. It didn't sound like he was frustrated, but more like boredom. He wanted to see more of the dungeon, and the current layout was not conductive for that.
Shadow Zero
Raven studied the map that he had brought out, observing it closely and wondering at what to do next. The silver star was undoubtedly where their group was, although it only seemed to move when the one who was holding the map moved. Either that, or the map itself tracks where in the dungeon it currently is. Raven thought as he furled the map up and followed Deralen to the door that lead back into the Path of Visions. As he followed Deralen, he heard him grumbling about not being able to see a whole lot of the dungeon at once. "Now Deralen, be honest. Would you really rather see more of the dungeon right away even if it meant that the likelihood of having to fight monsters was greater?" Raven asked this question in a rueful manner, and one in which he hoped would help Deralen to be a little less moody. Not even waiting for an answer, Raven places a hand on the upward sliding door and gives it a slight upward push before walking through it after it had finished opening. "At any rate, according to this map, at least if I am interpreting correctly, Whatever we need to do is here in the Path of Visions. The only problem I see is that there is no immediately apparent mechanism or treasure to help us progress further forward. What do you guys think? Should we perhaps journey once again into the dream world?"
encapturer
"We'll have to fight them anyway, so why not?" Deralen said in response to Raven's first question, following him through the doorway. "Though I wonder where they're hiding..." he continued, looking around the now familiar Path of Visions. He couldn't spot anything that was different on his first glance. Deralen sighed; it looks like they'll need to scour the room for clues. Raven, however, had a different idea. "Maybe..." Deralen said, shaking his head. "I can't really think of anything else, really." He turned to Skull Kid, scratching the back of his head. "You have any ideas?" Saiba Aisu
[spoiler=GM Post (Sunken Skull Dungeon)] GM Post: Sunken Skull DungeonGM Post: Sunken Skull Dungeon As soon as his booted feet made contact with the ground, however, the last two of the floating emerald orbs shattered, spending green sparks flying. With a muted crackle and roar, two high torches caught them and burst into similarly-colored flame. With the greatly increased illumination, Erzet could make out several details of the room they were standing in, although he almost wished that the room could have remained in muted, merciful gloom. His sharp eyes caught the shape of the gleaming pillars upon which the torches were set, and he registered them with brief distaste as a twin set of polished and carved bones. Directly in front of them was another pillar of bone, ending at waist-height in a smoothed plaque carved with Hylian characters. Around them, sturdy walls of hardened mud supported the room and prevented it from dissolving into sludge, while another large skull was set into the ceiling directly above them, leering silently, it jaws spread wide to accommodate a stone column that sprouted from its throat and ended in a high horizontal bar. Directly in front of the platform was a gleaming platform of white, supported firmly to the wall by stone. Near the bone platform, several others could be seen, leading up and around the room. "This dungeon is nothing more than a homage to death," he said to Sariri disgustedly, his voice echoing in the large space. Directly in front of them and to the left, the muddy bank upon which they stood came to an abrupt halt, bordered by murky, stagnant water whose depth was indeterminable. To the right, Erzet could see a stone door covered with gleaming silver chains, whose bright, metallic shine seemed to be the only thing out of place here. Current Location: Doomed Gateway [spoiler=Places of Interest] Places of Interest: • Doomed Gateway: A fairly high-ceilinged room, it is located at the entrance of the dungeon and is illuminated by two torches that glow with a sickly green flame, as well as several floating marshlights. It has three main doorways, only of one of which is currently accessible. To the right lies a comparably solid stretch of muddy ground that leads to a stone door bound by silver chains, which is obviously locked. Directly in front and to the right of you, the ground transforms into a mire of murky and treacherous water whose depth is indeterminable. Although you can make out an unlocked door to the right across a wide expanse of the stagnant water, it does not seem currently available. Sprouting from the throat of the large skull set into the ceiling is a stone column that ends in a sturdy horizontal bar, and next to that bar are several gleaming platforms of bone which also feature horizontal bars extending from the walls. • Skeleton Plaque: Located directly in front of you, it is a plaque of smoothed stone mounted atop yet another short pillar of white bone. Its surface is carved with Hylian characters which read: "When all of the skulls point to every man's destiny, a new path will be opened." • Horizontal Bars: There are many of these strange constructs in this room, starting with one directly above you and several more littering the walls at regular intervals. They seem fairly sturdy, but very slippery—perhaps if you had some way of fastening onto them firmly, you could use them to swing from place to place. • ???: A crumbling stone door weathered by damp and slime, it is covered by gleaming silver chains that prevent passage. At the center of the chains is a square padlock with a keyhole. The door is located to your diagonal left across muddy ground, although walking over currently seems pointless. • ???: A crumbling stone door weathered by damp and slime, it is unlocked and accessible... provided you can somehow cross the wide expanse of murky, stagnant water that separates it from where you're standing. Exits: • N/A: Even if you return up the staircase you just moved down, there is no exit to this dungeon, due to the jaws of the skull that was serving as a door slamming shut. He indicated the stone wall in front of them, which housed the final doorway of the Path of Visions. Upon its previously blank limestone surface were scrawled several unusual and frightening-looking creatures, colored purple. Although they were unnerving, however, the mysterious wall-paintings did not seem to pose any threat, so they left them well enough alone. "Okay," Skull Kid admitted ruefully, turning back to the others. "Even though I hate being left behind, I think it's pretty clear that you guys will have to enter the Dream World again..." He pointed at the circular elevated pedestal that would serve as the gateway to enter the vivid and mysterious Dream World, and together, the three Champions moved forward, grouping themselves around it. As before, the purple wavy line design seemed to glow with a strange and gentle light that went almost unnoticed in the illumination of the pale sun hidden behind the clouded veil above them. Now that Deralen and Raven considered themselves veterans of the Dream World, however, they did not hesitate before arranging themselves as comfortably as possible upon its wide stone surface, ready for the sweet slumber that Skull Kid's flute promised. The forest-child nodded and said, "Good luck, guys!" He then raised the wooden flute to his lips and blew softly, coaxing the slow and gentle notes from its confines with an air of easiness. Raven and Deralen's heads nodded slowly and they blinked once or twice before surrendering to the Song of Slumber. Then they were asleep—rushing through the darkness at an incredible speed—and then, they were awake once more, regaining consciousness and straightening from the pedestal, which began to glow a soft silver as they moved off it. The Dream World seemed just as it had before—vivid purple sky, rumbling black clouds overhead, and a muted scarlet light cast upon the scene, adding to its haziness and surrealism, save for one significant change. Just as they had done in the Waking World, three swirling silver-colored monsters were painted upon the limestone wall, blending in very well against it. Unknowing, the companions moved forward, uncertain of what they were now required to accomplish, and with a sudden whine, the silver light behind them dimmed and faded away completely. Raven and Deralen whirled around in panic at the sight of the shadowed pedestal, but they did not have much time to worry about their current plight—with a noise like a brush sliding across stone, the silver-colored monsters were moving, coming alive, sidling off the walls. As each monster fell in a flash of talons, they crumpled slightly and then expanded, until three large snarling silver wolves stood before Deralen and Raven. Although they seemed to glow brightly, the wolves still retained their design from the walls—only their outlines and the significant contours of their bodies were colored, leaving some spots completely empty and transparent. As one, the three beasts stepped forward slowly, growling threateningly deep in their silvery throats. They howled and then continued their sinister advance with slavering, gaping jaws opened hungrily in expectation of a kill. Current Location: Path of Visions (Dream World) [spoiler=Places of Interest] Places of Interest & Enemies: • Path of Visions: You've been here before, in both the Waking World and the Dream World. The room's design remains the same, lined with several limestone obelisks and the same wavelike patterns on the walls. In addition, the room remains door-less, meaning that there's no way to escape, short of returning to the Waking World through the glowing silver pedestal. • Elevated Pedestal: Located directly behind you, it has recently served as your manner of arrival to enter the Dream World. Although you're no doubt skilled at using these nifty pedestals to transverse the two planes of consciousness, it doesn't seem like it's currently operational, due to the silver light fading away. Enemies: • x3 Cursed Portrait: The ethereal counterparts of their real world drawings, these cave paintings have come alive into the form of strange, otherworldly beasts colored silver. Although wolves wouldn't normally be a problem in the Waking World and they are slightly weaker than their counterparts, these creatures are much faster and won't back down until a victor has been determined. Since you'll probably become the main course if you lose, it's highly suggested that you don't lose. In addition, there's also the fact that there are three Cursed Portraits and only two of you. Exits: • N/A: Now that the Silver Pedestal has been temporarily shut down, it doesn't seem like you'll be able to escape from this situation. As before, the Path of Visions in the Dream World does seem to have any doors. It looks like you'll have to fight your way out before you can leave this place. OoC: Okay, so Blazinghydra and I have now officially entered the dungeon game. Save the best for last, I always say. Anyways, you're free to read the material for both dungeons, but be warned that it's a lot and may confuse you. Be sure to deal with your relevant material first. Shadow Zero and Encapturer, I will be controlling any enemies you encounter in the Dream Dungeon for future reference.
Shadow Zero
Raven was surprised that the Silver wolf paintings had come alive, but was not necessarily shocked. He had known that there would be enemies, he just hadn't known how they would appear, or when. Not hesitating, Raven quickly draws his hand cannon and fires one shot at each of the creatures using the Mystery Seeds Ice Effect as he drew the sword on his left side. As he brought the sword across to his opposite side, he carges at the wolves, hoping to strike one of them down in a single blow.
