Shadow Zero
Raven had no chance to reach the count of three, or to see if Skull Kid was calming down. Deralens stepping on the rusted switch had apparently been enough to do what it had been designed to do. The tremors that took place as a result caused Raven to drop Skull Kid, and almost fall. By the time he regained his balance, another new pathway ad opened, showing the path that led to a spiral staircase on the left and a chest on a raised pedestal to the right. Raven drew his sword again and hefted his shield before proceeding into the hallway. He reached the spiraling staircase and saw that there were still no enemies in sight, not to surprising to him since he figured that any enemies that they would run into in the Dream Dungeon would only be in the Dream World, except for maybe the more powerful ones that may have been set in place by the Dream Dungeons builders. Raven looked over to the chest on the raised pedestal and thought to himself that the likeliest thing to find would be a key to one of the locked doors in the dungeon. He decided to wait and see what the others would decide though, since he personally felt that they should explore as much of the Dream Dungeon as possible first. I wonder if something happened in the Dream World as well though......... ooc: sorry about that Saiba, i was just using my noggin like we were supposed to. also, if my character seems to be stepping into more of a leader role, that is not really a deliberate thing, but something that more reflects the fact that i am seeming to have to take a more active role for fear that the other two will completely stop posting and leave the rp. i don't want thet to happen, and you did ask for me to take a more active role as well,. if this has caused trouble, then i apologize, and will try top be more mindful of it in the future. encapturer
Deralen left the alcove he was in and rejoined the other two, looking a little out of it. "Wow, that was... simple." he said as he walked. "Maybe all the guys who came here before needed was something heavy." He eventually got over his surprise and looked over to the new passageway, where the chest and the stairway stood. "I guess we should head over there next, to figure out what is going on with this place, though..." Raven had already went to explore without his prompting. He didn't touch the chest, though. Don't chests usually hold goodies and stuff? Deralen though, as Raven went to examine the stairwell. He walked over to the chest and stood in front of it. "Don't want to open it?" he asked Raven and Skull Kid. "If you won't, I will."
Shadow Zero
"Hm? Oh, sorry, I was just debating the next course of action that we might take, although I think I distinctly remember Zelda making you leader of the group for this mission, right? Perhaps you could be a little more active with your own thoughts then? I know that this must be a bit new for you, but we all have our roles to play, right?" Anyway, you can open it if you like, I'll head down the staircase and see if there are any enemies lying in wait." Raven walked down the spiral staircase, descending to the floor below and wondering what it would hold. He was a little irritated though, as it seemed that the Dream Dungeon was a combination of two worlds that were almost exactly the same, except for certain small changes to the layout of the Dream Dungeon itself. I really hope that this won't take to long, I want to be able to sleep somewhere that is not here when the night time comes.
Saiba Aisu
Erzet clicked his tongue impatiently and indicated the map in his hands as Sariri dug fruitlessly through the contents of the supply satchel in search of it. With a rather abashed look, the Rito girl closed the bag and lowered it to the ground before taking a seat next to him on the log, her red gaze tracing the indicated route and their progress through the Haunted Swamplands so far. The Gerudo straightened the parchment—fortunately, it wasn't too waterlogged from their journey—and began to calculate how long it would take them to reach the marker that indicated the location of the Sunken Skull Dungeon. Although they had yet to encounter any form of hostiles yet, there was something faintly sinister about the desolate and abandoned swamps that set his thief's senses buzzing in disapproval. Perhaps it was the treacherous terrain or the apparent lack of food—if something happened to them, there would be no point in depending for outside help; or perhaps it was... Something crinkled softly behind them. Erzet's green eyes flashed at the noise, but he resisted the impulse to wheel around and discover the source of the noise. Next to him, he caught Sariri's gaze—from her eyes, it was clear that she had also heard the sound. The Gerudo nodded slightly and relaxed, leaning forward as if he had no greater concern than scouring the parchment in his hands; in reality, however, his hands were drifting towards either side of his hips, drawing both scimitars silently. He turned his head and looked left and right casually, then back down at the map—as if he were confirming their location rather than trying to find the location where the noise had come from. As he had gazed left, his eyes had noticed a slight flash of movement, as if someone were pressing himself deeper into the high reeds that ringed the area only a few feet away. It was a miracle that the Gerudo had managed to hear their mysterious tracker at all, really—the sound must have been made as he stepped on some brittle grass, but there had been no noise as he retreated further into the reeds. Regardless of whoever their unwanted pursuer was, Erzet had no doubt that he knew what was he about. He handed the map to Sariri silently, catching her gaze and holding it until she understood his motive. He relaxed briefly, then swung around on the log, kicking off from its surface towards the reeds. As he landed, he wheeled forwards onto his hands into a back-hand spring, the momentum of his push lending him speed and distance. With the last of his momentum, he hurtled into the air over the thick clump of reeds, landing lightly on the other side, a scimitar flashing in each hand. Erzet narrowed his eyes as he caught sight of their mysterious tracker, a tall young Zora male pressing himself against the reeds, his gray-blue skin blending remarkably well against them. The Zora's fishlike gaze was emotionless as the Gerudo raised one scimitar slowly towards his neck, eyes flashing green fire. "Who are you?" the dark-haired man demanded in a cold tone, pressing the edge of the scimitar against the Zora's neck slightly, "and why are you following us?" Wyvern
"I-I was just following you because...I've never met any other human-like things...And I wasn't being hostile. So you can put your sword down; I'm not going to kill you. I saw your tracks while walking today and decided to follow you," Enthai's heart was beating unbelievably fast, as this was his first encounter with other beings. He spoke truth, but didn't know if this person would understand. He also spoke slowly because he was so scared. Enthai put his bow down, slowly. While he did it he kept a watchful eye at the person holding a sword to his throat. He didn't want any fighting, and he certainly didn't want to be killed. Enthai smiled at him, waiting for a response.
encapturer
((I was waiting for Leoluiz to make a post, but....)) Deralen glared at Raven. "Sorry for being so new to this!" he snapped, the frustration clear in his voice. Fortunately, the three were alone in the dungeon for the time being, according to Princess Zelda, otherwise his sudden outburst would have surely attracted some. Deralen sighed and shook his head. "I'm... sorry..." he bowed his head towards Raven in apology. "I'll... get whatevers' in the chest and meet you downstairs." He didn't look directly at Raven nor Skull Kid as he did so; Deralen, was proud, and didn't like conflict between friends, so he was deeply disturbed from his previous outburst. Saiba Aisu
[spoiler=OoC. Please read, Encapturer and Shadow Zero.]Okay, so Leoluiz told me that he hasn't been been feeling very well lately and that he's been swamped with studies until just recently. He said he'll post by tomorrow afternoon, so just hang in there until then. You guys are doing great! Erzet raised one slim brow at the Zora's comments, tossing him a cool and calculated look—although he stuttered slightly, the dark-haired man had seen many liars in his lifetime, and he was almost certain that the gray-blue colored Zora was telling the truth, or at least part of it. Satisfied for the moment, he lowered the scimitar from the edge of the Zora's neck, but his grip remained firm on it, and he made no move to help the young male up. "It's okay, Sariri," Erzet called over the reeds to the Rito girl, indicating that she should come over and meet the Zora, as well. "I don't think he's dangerous," he continued, keeping his gaze trained on the other male. The Gerudo frowned briefly at the fishlike individual, taking in his handmade bow and rather unkempt appearance. "What are you doing in a place like this?" he demanded, changing strategies and tossing his head contemptuously in summary of the surrounding murky wasteland. "Don't tell me you actually live here?" Shadow Zero
Raven was taken aback at Deralens sudden outburst of anger. He was able to keep a calm composure, but was still surprised enough to take a step back. Wondering at Deralens response Raven thought to say something, but then decided to leave it until later, hoping that he wouldn't regret it. He settled for doing nothing more then raising an eyebrow questioningly at Deralen before proceeding down the spiral staircase. Raven didn't stop until he was about halfway down the steps and well out of site, where he placed a hand against the wall and was visibly shaken. Deralen had always struck him as a carefree sort of person, the type of guy that was always upbeat and would be the first to turn a persons scowl into a mirthful laugh. That he had reacted so strongly to Ravens comment had shaken him more then he was willing to show, and caused him no small amount of concern. I just hope that this doesn't mean that Deralen is being affected by the spirits that make their abode in this place, otherwise we could all be in trouble. After a minute or so of pausing to regain some sense of clam, Raven continues to proceed down the stairs, but sheaths his sword and instead draws his hand cannon, a one of a type seed shooter he had made to hold up to twenty mystery seeds at once and used when speed was desired more then anything else. It can't hurt to be careful, but I really hope that I don't have to use this thing so early on, it would not bode well at all.
leoluiz
Skull Kid was trying to escape from Raven, who for some reason had raised him from the floor. "Let me go Raven" he said, but Raven only dropped after Deralen jumped on the rusty button, causing tremors in the Dream Dungeon. Unfortunately for Skull Kid, he fell to the ground. Skull Kid got up but instead of spoke with Raven, he looked at the new path that opened. He could see a staircase leading down and an elevated circular pedestal, where a wooden chest was laid. He walked down the stairs behind Raven to talk with him while Deralen was opening the chest. "Why did you do that?" he asked
encapturer
Deralen fiddled with the chest a bit; it opened easily easily enough. While he went to pull out what was inside, his thoughts wandered to the others. They both had already disappeared down the stairwell, waiting for him. He paused before taking what was inside, thinking of what he should say to them. "Uhwaaa....." Deralen groaned to himself, taking the treasure from within. I... shouldn't let this get to me, even if I am new to all this... he thought to himself, as he took one last look in the room everyone was just in. Taking a deep breath, he made is way downstairs, where Raven and Skull Kid wait.
Wyvern
"Oh, I live here. My camp's not too far back. Why, does it disturb you? I just live here, I've lived her for so long..." Enthai looked off into the distance. He was remembering his parents, but only faintly. He was so young when they left him Enthai came back to reality and looked at the person. He said, "I have a shelter, an Octorok, and my own ways of getting food. I...nevermind. But anyways, my name is Enthai. I would like to know your names. You seem interesting." Enthai didn't know if what he said was appropriate. Since he had never met any other social, human-like creatures before, he didn't have any social skills himself. Well, some, but he didn't know everything there is to being social.
Saiba Aisu
GM Post: Dream DungeonGM Post: Dream Dungeon As Deralen threw open the lid of the small and weathered wooden chest, a muted scarlet light danced across his sturdy face, casting brief shadows upon it. With a surprisingly gentle grip for one so large and so strong, the Goron bent forwards and reached into the chest, drawing forth five red Rupees, whose total value amounted to one hundred Rupees. As the treasure was removed from the chest, the scarlet light faded and then disappeared. Making sure to stow the jewels away carefully, the young Goron straightened and walked to the left, down the short spiral staircase where Skull Kid and Raven were waiting for him. As he descended, Deralen could not help but notice the incredible craftsmanship of the walls and small sculptures that lay within several indents carved into the limestone surface—being of the Goron race, whose masonry and talent as blacksmiths was almost unsurpassed, he could appreciate the simple but elegant beauty of such a design and the fantastical shapes of the miniature statues. Although the stairs led downward, the incline was not so steep that some daylight managed to permeate the area; by its light, Deralen could make out a design on the walls, chasing itself away from view below: it was always the same symbol, the crest of the Dream Dungeon—the two purple and silver wavy lines set atop each other. As he reached the bottom of the staircase, Skull Kid and Raven came into view, flanking yet another stone door. Unlike the others, however, this door did not seemed to be barred by silver chains or be inaccessible in any other form; rather, it merely seemed to lack a hinge or indent from which to swing. On the door's stone surface, the symbol of the Dream Dungeon was painted within a circle, set in the middle. They deliberated outside of it for a moment, as if unsure of how to continue—however, it was Skull Kid that got it first. Springing forwards in a sprightly manner, he placed his hand atop the painted circle and at once, the door slid upwards into a hidden hollow with a low rumble, allowing access to the room within. As the three Champions moved into the room, the door slid shut behind them, but it did not appear to be locked, meaning that they could leave the room if they wanted. Oddly enough, the room was well-lit, with several high and narrow windows—more like slits—open to the mountain air outside, through which slender beams of sunlight poured. Ahead of them lay a large square indent into the limestone floor, only a few inches deep, filled at odd intervals with large pieces of stone. Current Location: Meditation Alcove [spoiler=Places of Interest] Places of Interest: • Meditation Alcove: A comparatively tiny stone room tucked away into the Dream Dungeon, you have only just recently revealed the path that leads here. Despite being fairly small, it has a rather high ceiling, through which narrow slivers of sunlight penetrate from outside. Directly in front of you is a large indent carved into the ground, littered with large pieces of stone that seem oddly crafted. To your right is another circular platform much smaller than the ones you have seen before, and another switch. • Elevated Switch: Located to the immediate right of the mysterious square indent, this switch seems to be in good condition, meaning that anyone will be able to push it, regardless of weight. It seems to be directly connected to the small circular pedestal, though. Perhaps pushing it will help you to solve the puzzle in this room? • Circular Pedestal: An elevated limestone pedestal with the same sign of the Dream Dungeon carved into its surface, it is much smaller than the pedestals you have seen before. An adult human might be able to stand upon it, but it seems like a child would be more suitable. • Carved Indent: A large square indent carved into the ground, it is only a few inches deep and is located directly in front of you. However, it is littered with six pieces of triangular stone that seem too perfect to be formed without sentient craftsmanship. While they are tall, they're not too wide, meaning that an incredibly strong individual would be able to push them if necessary—unfortunately, however, the sides of the indented floor means that they are unable to be removed. Perhaps if you were able to obtain a better view of the room, you might be able to determine their purpose. Exits: • Meditation Access: The drop-down stone door from which you just entered, it does not seem unlocked, meaning that you can leave the room at any time you wish. However, as it only leads you back up the spiral staircase to the Path of Visions, this does not seem very helpful. [spoiler=OoC. Please read, Shadow Zero, Encapturer, and Leoluiz.]OoC: Okay, guys, you are progressing very nicely through the dungeon. Now, this puzzle is fairly simple, but it may prove difficult to solve if you overcomplicate things. I will give you a hint—the circular pedestal can be raised somehow, but it doesn't look like it will carry anything that weighs more than a child. The pieces of stone can be pushed, but only by an incredibly strong and sturdy individual. The elevated switch can be depressed by anyone. Finally, going to the Dream World in this room is not related to solving the puzzle and will not help. I'll make another GM post if necessary, but this should prove very easy to solve! Good luck! Shadow Zero
Raven looked around at the Meditations alcove and gave it some thought. the switch was in very good condition, as good, in fact, as the ones that he and Deralen had depressed in the dream world. The triangular columns would be to heave for me, I think. Likewise, I do not think that I would be able to balance very well on that pedestal if the switch caused it to start moving. "I'll just sit here and go through my equipment for a moment shall I?" Raven said as he sat down and opened up his hand cannons loading point, making sure that it was filled to its max capacity of twenty mystery seeds before checking his seed satchel and other equipment as well. It's not like I can do anything at the moment anyway. I might as well just let Skull Kid and Deralen field this one. It's pretty easy to figure out, at any rate. I wonder where the triangular columns go though....
encapturer
Deralen felt the jingle of the rupees that were now in is pouch as he descended, thinking about what to do with them. He actually half-expected the chest to be locked, especially since it contained a small sum of money. This is for the sake of the world, he thought to himself, so I think it's fine we use this money for ourselves. The room beyond the door was a surprise; it reminded Deralen of the games he played when he was younger. In particular, he wondered about the triangular pillars on that lie in front of him. They weren't holding up anything in particular which struck him as odd. Deralen stepped forward into the middle of the room and glanced around, but he was unable to get any new information, besides another raised switch. Deralen wanted to say something about it, but he was still a little shaken from what happened moments ago between himself and Raven. Instead, he went and walked towards the switch to stand on it himself; it seemed to be in better shape that the one upstairs, at least. ((Deralen will stand on the switch unless someone stops him))
Shadow Zero
"I wouldn't do that if i were you." Raven said without looking up from what he was doing. He had seen Deralen moving towards the switch out of the corner of his eye, and so was able to easily guess what his intent was. "I wouldn't be able to balance well on the platform that that switch is on, if the switch activated it and caused it to start moving. I think Skull Kid would have the best chance of not falling off." Raven finished what he was doing and looked up at Deralen, putting his seed satchel and other items that he had on him back in place before gesturing to the Columns in the lowered area of the floor that they were all standing in. "I wonder what are these columns for. They certainly look heavy. What do you think, Deralen?"
Andx
Billos's wall was something else. It came out of nowhere and killed two of the creatures on the spot. Though it wasn't as tall as they were or otherwise a projectile would not have flown pass Billos. Lorenz took notice of the arrow right as it nearly hit Billos. He traced it back to where it might have been shot from to see Mira already drawing another arrow. At first Lorenz might have thought Mira was trying to shoot the babas but the look in her eyes said otherwise. She had the look of a killer in her eyes. She had clearly been aiming at Billos."Great, just when we start to get a handle on the creatures Mira has to complicate matters." Lorenz thought as he turned around to face Mira."I have no idea what you're doing Mira. But I'd stop it if I were you. This isn't funny." Lorenz said. He figured that it would be pointless if Mira was actually determined to kill them but it couldn't hurt. Lorenz put his shield in front of himself as Mira would not doubt attempt to attack again and getting hit by an arrow was not something he wanted to do today. As he focused in on Mira he forgot about the other two babas, probably having passed them off as dead like the others. Billos had obviously taken note of the arrow and Mira especially since he was the one who had been fired at."It doesn't look like she's messing around Billos. She wants us dead. Any ideas? Or do we just rush her?" Lorenz said.
Saiba Aisu
[spoiler=OoC. Please read, Shadow Zero, Encapturer, and Leoluiz.]Like I said, it's a fairly simplistic puzzle. You can go ahead and fool around if you like, but it's only wasting valuable time. I'll try and keep the GM posts to a minimum until you guys are properly arranged to solve the puzzle. Does that sound fair? After one final moment of cold uncertainty, Erzet raised his scimitars and sheathed them into the two scabbards on either side of his hips with a faint click, convinced that the Zora was telling the truth. He crossed his sun-browned arms and frowned slightly at the other male's remarks. What in the Goddess' name is an Octorok? he wondered briefly, before deciding that he didn't particularly want to find out. Perhaps this mysterious tracker would be of some use after all—if he really lived in the Haunted Swamplands, there was a good chance that he might be able to guide them to the Sunken Skull Dungeon. With his thoughts arranged along these lines, Erzet restrained himself rolling his eyes and did something he really hated doing: apologizing. "Sorry, Enthai," he said aloud shortly, the Zora's bizarre name sounding exotic on his desert-bred tongue as he attempted without much success to make himself sound sorry. "My name is Erzet," he continued, green eyes flashing brilliantly in the gloom as he introduced himself, "and I'm a Lone Wolf Thief." Unfortunately, from the look on the Zora's face, the Gerudo could tell that none of what he had said had made any sense. "Listen, it's not like I have anything against this place," he added, trying to be truthful as he gazed around in an exasperated manner at the murky and treacherous terrain surrounding them, "but this just seems like a bizarre place to live, don't you think?" encapturer
"I've thought about them, but I have no idea what they could be *for*," Deralen backed away from the switch and turned to the large pillars. "I probably have to move them around, but I could be at it all day..." Deralen shoved at the stones a bit. Yeah, these can be moved. But where should be moved to? Deralen thought a bit to himself, forgetting all about his earlier outburst. Well, if this is a dead end... "If that switch..." Deralen began, pointing at the switch he was just at. He paused a moment, and pointed at the platform Raven spoke about. "Moves that platform.. why don't you two try it out, then?" Deralen addressed both Skull Kid and Raven, looking directly at Skull Kid first, then Raven. "Maybe... we can get a clue to what to do with these stones, or find a key, or... something!" He was smiling, excited over what the next mystery would be.
Shadow Zero
"Ohohooo no! Don't look at me!" Raven said as he raised his hands up, although he couldn't help but chuckle a bit. "I wouldn't be able to balance well enough on that platform to keep from falling!" Raven smiled ruefully a bit at that, as he normally had excellent balance. His one trouble though was that he had no 'sea legs', and he had a feeling that someone of his size would really need those to keep from falling off. Raven then lowers his hands back to his sides and said "To be honest, I really don't know how much help i could be. Although....." Raven walked over to one of the columns and notes how each one is a perfect triangle. Then he hits his right fist into his left palm as he has a sudden burst of inspiration. "Ah-Ha! If these six triangular columns are pushed together, they would form a single hexagonal pillar! Perhaps they are meant to be pushed into place at a specific spot where the platform would then rest on them to obtain something that is out of reach?" Saiba Aisu
[spoiler=OoC. Please read, Shadow Zero, Encapturer, and Leoluiz.]That's good thinking, guys - when pushed together, the six triangles will form one hexagonal figure. However, pushing them together in order to reach an item or something similar will have no purpose. There is something atop each of the six stones, which you'll need a bird's-eye-view to understand. "There's alot of space down here, though." He stopped to looked up one of the pillars, but couldn't see anything besides the ceiling. "Why don't we let Skull Kid ride up that platform thing so we can see where to put these pillars?" I don't want to push these things any more than I have to, Deralen thought, as he pushed a few pillars around to make it easier to move them later. Hydra of Ages
[spoiler= Aqua Girl] If you'll notice, I was waiting for Marsuvees, whom I've contacted to post and has so neglected to do so. It's quite hard to make a GM post when nobody has done anything, you see. Also, any particular reason you posted that in the thread rather than in a PM? It does not have any relevance to the RP as a whole, and considering it's about a personal problem you have with me, you'd think it would be better solved without spamming up the thread. Upon dropping the weapon, the possessed woman gave a scowl before pitching forward suddenly as the shell of the insect attached to the back of her neck fell off. Two barbs remained embedded into her, though they quickly seemed to dissolve away, as if burned out from the inside in. Mira shook her head and wobbled a little, but didn't collapse as her mind attempted to reconnect its synapses and hormones to its usual form. A cloudy sensation veiled her mind, though it cleared after a few moments, leaving her no worse for wear. (Mira has broken free of the Spore's Control.) The five Spore Tufts, noticing that one of their brethren had fallen, began to drift slowly over to the free Hylian, possibly aiming to control her mind once again. On Billos' and Lorenz' side, however, the two remaining Crimson Babas shook themselves free again. While it seems mostly empty, it is circled on all sides by the same stiff, red walls of plant matter that make up the outer walls. You've ticked off the strange pillar and caused it to summon some enemies. On the bright side, it means that you must be doing something that causes it to panic, if it gives such an immediate reaction. Exits: • Outer Jungle: The bulk and perhaps relatively safest part of the Red Jungle, this giant ring of threatening and hungry-seeming thorned plants seems to have little to get in your way. It grows outward, building up new trees and plants in its way. While it is an uncomfortable and rather frightful walk, there is little to hurt you so long as you stay on the proper path. The air is thick with pollen that can cloud the mind, from every plant on each side. You've already entered the main part of the Red Jungle, why do you want to go back so quickly? [spoiler= Reg. post]Sariri giggled a little to herself, and with a brief flap of her wings, glided over to Erzet's spot. She tucked away her ebon wings, before examining the newcomer with interest. "Oh? This the guy that was sneaking up on us?" she questioned, walking around him to examine the Zora from all angles. He didn't look too much like the other Zoras she knew, seeming more... eh, feral, less urban. He didn't seem like the same kind of Zora found over by the city they had left, that was to be sure. She wasn't a particularly suspicious person, and to be honest she felt almost sorry for the Zora that Erzet had evidently given a scare to, but all the same double-checked to make sure her Rapier was able to be drawn with ease from her scabbard. You could never be too sure in these swamps, she reflected, tucking some of her bangs behind an ear. She giggled a little more as the strange Zora started to speak, rather matter-o-factly. "I'm Sariri." she said with a grin, glancing up at her taller Gerudo companion after he introduced himself. "I don't have a fancy title like Erzet, unfortunately." she said with a shrug. She glanced over at Erzet and giggled a bit. "Is it really that more bizzare than, say, living in a desert wasteland? Or a ridiculously massive hollow mountain?" Wyvern
Enthai frowned at the bird-person's remark. Enthai said, "Hello, Sariri..." Enthai got the feeling that Sariri was a hyper, happy person, since she said such things nonchalantly and her giggling. Then, he looked at Erzet and responded, "Hello, Erzet. I don't know why it would be strange to live here. I wouldn't know the difference, since I've never lived anywhere else. Well, I did when I was a baby, but it's hard to remember. And as for your "fancy title", why are you called a Lone Wolf Thief?" The aspect of the title "thief" was not appealing to Enthai. He hoped Erzet wouldn't steal anything from him. Saiba Aisu
Erzet frowned and crossed his arms, his mouth a dry line. "Of course there's a difference," he said flatly. "We Gerudo live in the desert because it's remote and difficult to invade, making it the perfect place to store treasure... And there's also the fact that it's the sacred domain of the Goddess of the Sand, too." The dark-haired and sun-browned Gerudo gave Enthai a cool glance before turning back to Sariri. "And it's always nice to be able to choose where to live," he said, summing up the miserable swamplands around them in a scornful gesture with his arms. "It doesn't look like Enthai," he said, tilting his head to indicate the Zora beside them, "had much choice in this case, though." He gave the water dweller another look, this time tinged with some curiosity. What was Enthai doing living out here? Had he been abandoned as a child by his parents? He decided not to ask any painful questions for the moment, though. "Well, Enthai," he said aloud, "the world is a lot wider than just the Haunted Swamplands. Haven't you ever considered seeing the rest of it?" he asked. "And also," he continued, green eyes flashing, "the title 'Lone Wolf Thief' means that while I'm a thief, I still have some standards of respect. I would never steal from the needy or the poor, especially women and children, for example." Seeing the Zora's rather worried expression, the Gerudo laughed softly with real warmth. "Don't worry, Enthai," he said. "Even if you did have something worth stealing, I'm not interested in theft at the moment—there's something we need to do." He gave Sariri a brief guarded glance, as if searching for confirmation as to whether or not they should trust their newly-made friend with the purpose of their mission so quickly. The Rito girl nodded slightly, and Erzet continued, saying, "We're looking for a sort of ruined temple in these parts... It would be very old and desolate, completely abandoned, and most likely sunken into the ground. Have you seen anything like that around here?"
