Saiba Aisu
[spoiler=OoC]OoC: That's fine, Tempest. I'll be very interested to see your character! Erzet froze with his second piece of buttered toast halfway to his mouth, with only one or two bite marks in it—he was staring in shock at the rather unnerving spectacle Sariri and Raven were making as they devoured most of the food enthusiastically. He took another slow bite of his piece of toast before laying it down, unfinished, on his plate gingerly. "You know what?" he said flatly, eying the hungry pair. "Never mind. I seem to have lost my appetite." The dark-haired thief redirected his attention to Skull Kid and Deralen, who had joined the conversation. "Hey there, Skull Kid," Erzet replied, smiling with obvious sincerity at the diminutive figure of the forest-child; after all, they had once challenged Hyrule Castle Town's constabulary together. "I'm glad to see you're doing alright," he continued, "and you, too, Deralen. How has your journey been so far? Sariri and I have managed to make considerably good time until now..." The Gerudo frowned slightly. "Although I expect that won't be the case for much longer," he added, glancing outside the window at the shimmering mirror that was Lake Hylia—somewhere out there, the Sunken Skull Dungeon was waiting, shrouded in secrecy and isolation in the Haunted Swamplands. "Anyways," he continued, shaking his head slightly and turning back to where Sariri and Raven were discussing their unusual dreams between mouthfuls. "I'm going to have to agree with Raven on this one," he said, nodding towards the golden-haired Hylian coolly. "It's more likely that you were temporarily caught in the Dream Dungeon's sphere of influence... From what Princess Zelda told us, you can be thankful that nothing worse than bad dreams have happened to you. Hopefully, once we get deeper into the Haunted Swamplands, we'll be too far away from the dungeon for it to interfere with our dreams."
Shadow Zero
"Yeah, I suppose that's true." Raven said, glad for an excuse to tear his gaze away from Sariri as the second platter arrived. Grabbing the largest leg of ham on the platter, he shoves it right in Erzets face and says "You will eat a proper meal! You have a lot farther to go then I do, and you will need all your strength. That includes not halfassing a meal. Don't think that just because you're a Gerudo I'll let this lie. You will eat or I will make you eat." Raven normally didn't do this sort of thing, but he knew full well that the success of each mission directly affected the future of Hyrule, and he was not about to let someone else out the future of Hyrule at risk due to their actions or inactions. ooc: lolbossyraven I too am looking forward to Dahlias character. Saiba Aisu
Erzet rolled his eyes, superbly unimpressed. "Don't make me laugh," he said flatly. "I live my own life the way I want to—like I said, I'm a Lone Wolf Thief, and I'm not about to take orders from you, no matter how good your intentions are. The only people whose orders I obey are the Elders of the Clan of Thieves, and for the moment, Princess Zelda." Having said so, with a quick flash of movement that was almost difficult to catch, the thief grabbed Raven's wrist and redirected the unusually large leg of ham back to its plate, where it flopped back in all its buttery splendor. "We Gerudo are tough," Erzet continued, making a face at the overly rich meat. "We can live off bread and water for a hundred days if we have to." The thief's large green eyes flashed up to Raven's face. "Or if we want to, as well. In my tribe, meat like that is a delicacy that shouldn't be wasted—if you like, I'll eat the leg of ham... just as soon Sariri and I get back from breaking the curse that's placed on the Sunken Skull Dungeon, of course." Hydra of Ages
Sariri finished gnawing her ham and licked her lips, removing the last remnants of the cooked boar's former existence. She daintilly wiped her face with a feather dislodged from her wing. After she finished, she yawned a little and got up."And me. You take orders from me too."she said with a hint of teasing, before she paused."Well... provided I annoy you to the point where just doing that I say is easier than ignoring me. So it's really more nagging you than ordering you, seen that way."She shrugged, and walked up, taking a couple steps. "Suit yourself. If you want to dredge through a heavy swamp without any source of food that won't try to kill us for miles, be my guess. I'll asusme you know more about a Gerudo metabolism than I do." She giggled a little. "Rito are the opposite. We'll fly to the end of the world and back, given enough food to get there. Rest is secondary as long as we have subsistence." She smirked, stretching out both of her legs. "Which doesn't so much make us a hardy race as much as it makes us a stubborn-as-all-hell-race. I think I like that more." She reached into her hair and removed the tie she used to keep it in a ponytail. She shook it a little until her long black hair finally draped back over her back, and smiled. "There we go. That was bugging me."
Shadow Zero
"Tch. of course Gerudo are tough. If they weren't, then there wouldn't be a Sage of Spirit, now would there? Still, Sariri is right, you should eat something more, Gerudo or not." Raven said folding his arms with a slightly irritated look on his face. "I understand what you're talking about with the ham though, I hadn't had any in months." Raven said, his eyes straying hungrily to the leg of ham before sighing and placing it in front of Sariri instead. Raven sighs and unfolds his arms as he looks at Sariri and Erzet with another one of his serious looks and says "Anyway, make sure that neither of you sleep again until you are well away from Lake Hylia or the curse on the Dream Dungeon is broken. I doubt that either of you will experience similar circumstances, but each of the past two nights i had slept, I ended up having to fight or my life against these weird spectres. Count yourselves lucky that you were not in similar situations, as I doubt even a Gerudo would be able to fight their way out of so many of thos monstrosities." Now that I think of it, that Poe I saw could be directly responsible for my nightmarish dreams. The next time I see that thing, It shall taste the edge of my blade. ooc: hey saiba, do you mind if i rp the poe in again as a guide for the Dream Dungeon? Saiba Aisu
[spoiler=OoC]OoC: Of course, I do? Lol. Like I said, the dungeon is already planned. Erzet frowned again at Sariri, but this time more companionably. "You are pretty bossy," he replied flatly in agreement, shrugging. After all, there was no point in softening the blow, was there? He stood from the table, stretching luxuriously like a cat, his mouth open in a silent yawn as he flexed his slender figure. He relaxed and turned to the Rito girl, his gaze an unusual mix of half-exasperated, half-amused. "If there's nothing edible in the swamplands," he asked her, "how are we supposed to survive in there while we break the curse on the dungeon? It doesn't sound like the kind of thing to be done in a few hours—there's bound to be something we can eat once we get there. Princess Zelda wouldn't send us on an impossible mission like that, I don't think... and I'd rather not have to move through the bog with a bloated stomach while you soar above, if it's all the same to you." He looked back at the magnificently buttered leg of ham, and restrained the urge to make another face. "Besides," he continued in a completely serious tone, "apart from being tough, we thieves have to keep ourselves slender and agile—have you ever seen an overweight Gerudo? It's not a common sight, I can assure you." Gathering up the supply satchels and the remainder of the items he had brought down with him from his room, Erzet took one last look around the room to make sure—he could see from a quick glance that Sariri was already packed up and ready to go; however, considering how lightly she traveled, that wasn't that unexpected. "Alright then," he said to Raven, Deralen, and Skull Kid. "I think Sariri and I are ready to go, then—I just need to talk to the owner of this inn about stabling Casban until I get back, and we'll be on our way. It's been good seeing you guys. I wish there was more we could do to help you out on your journey, but as you can see, we've got our own troubles to think about. All I can say is that I'm confident you three will be able to do what needs to be done, and I can offer no greater encouragement than that." Shadow Zero
"You just worry about making sure that you don't become another pair of sunken skulls." Raven said, making a joke out of it while still remaining serious. Motioning for a Zoran waitress that was nearby, he asks for the various foods to be packaged up and asks if there is a bridge sturdy enough for a Goron. He breathes a sigh of relief when he hears that there is indeed a stone bridge that could actually support four full grown Gorons comfortably enough, and turns to Deralen and Skull Kid. "We should get moving ourselves. That curse on the Dream dungeon isn't going to lift itself after all."
leoluiz
"So let's go." he said. "Wolf is waiting outside the hotel." he paused and remembered what happened earlier when Wolf disappeared. "I hope." Skull Kid walked to the door of the hotel. He checked if he still had food for him and Wolf, because the journey would be long and climbing too. When he left the hotel he played the music that sounds like the howl of a wolf, for the case of Wolf not have waited him outside. For your happiness, Wolf was the place where he was before. Skull Kid jumped on Wolf's back. "Come on guys, the curse of the Dream Dungeon will not break alone." he said to hasten his friends
encapturer
Deralen stood up, holding the last bit of his meal, a handful of pebbles, in his hand. The rocks here weren't anything spectacular, but he was just happy to eat something he's used to. He threw the pebbles into the mouth, quickly chewing and digesting them before rejoining his companions. That hit the spot... "Yeah, let's do this," Deralen said, nodding to Raven and Skull Kid in agreement. "Figure out a way to that dungeon?" he asked Raven in particular. "Or are we travelling blind?" Shadow Zero
"Well to first address an earlier concern, there is a bridge sturdy enough to hold several Gorons of your size, so you don't have to worry about that anymore." Raven took out his Ocarina and played a tune on it, and within a few moments Raizen showed up and patiently waited for Raven to climb on. As he climbs on to Raizen, Raven checks to make sure that the provisions that had been packed along with the leftovers were secure, then started off at a quick trot with Skull Kid and Deralen following behind. After crossing the bridge, Raven had Raizen pick up his speed a bit and turned to the others saying "In a couple of hours we should find a path leading through the mountains of to our right. I don't know how direct it is, but it should lead to the Dream Dungeon."
Hydra of Ages
Sariri chuckled a bit. "Well, don't expect someplace called the 'Sunken Skull' temple to be laying out a buffet for you. We might find some mushrooms that aren't deathcaps or something, but I wouldn't get my hopes up." She glanced over at the plate of unfinished, and the remaining leg of ham. She wasn't really hungry, and after observing it, decided that it would probably rot in the middle of the swamp if she took it with her. She sighed, wishing she had more of her dried meat she usually kept for long flights. Why didn't she have any of that? Oh, right. She ate it. Oh well. "Oh well. Later, Raven." she said, looking over her shoulder before following Erzet. She had a giddy smile on her face, and she noted a slight spring in her step. Ah, so her mood was swinging back towards eagerness then. Well, she could deal with that. "So... how do you figure we'll get through the temple?" she wondered out loud. "I mean.. 'Sunken' seems to denote that it's either underwater or underground. I don't think either of us are really great swimmers or diggers..." she hesitated, then shrugged. "Well, I'm suppose we'll cross that bridge when we come to it."

The Gerudo had drawn out the map Princess Zelda had given them with their designated route indicated in red, snaking around Lake Hylia before it trailed off into the Haunted Swamplands—still, labyrinthine and treacherous as the bog was bound to be, there was no doubting Princess Zelda's directions, since the mark that indicated the Sunken Skull Dungeon's location was a large red square. The thief's private reverie was interrupted, however, by Sariri's remark. "Hm?" he asked absentmindedly, switching his green gaze to the Rito girl. "Well," he replied, "Princess Zelda didn't mention anything about it being underwater, I don't think. She did say that it was underground, though—from what I'm expecting, there will be some sort of an entrance leading into the dungeon that's situated in the swamplands... and that's where we're headed." He frowned slightly behind his gray veil, considering for the first time just how much of a potential problem an underground complex could be. It was more or less alright for him, since he was used to sneaking through cramped spaces, but... The Gerudo continued to look at Sariri, who as always, seemed entirely too eager and enthusiastic with the upcoming struggles. Somehow, he didn't think she'd like the idea of going underground very much—after all, she was a creature of the sky.
encapturer
((Sorry for being off and on. I'll try to post as often as I can, but everything is dependent on whether or not my monitor wants to work. Yesterday I pretty much just tried to get it to turn on all day =/. I've got it working now, and have a general idea what to do to make it work, but no guarantees until I get a new screen. (Unless something is actually wrong with my computer >_<) )) Soon, just as Raven predicted, the offshoot path was found. While the normal path ahead was well worn and straightforward, it didn't take long before Deralen reached a problem. The path was not made for rolling, that was one thing that was certain. The path was narrow and twisty, there were random protrusions all over, and it was pretty much a steady incline the entire way. Deralen spent about 5 minutes trying to navigate this mess curled up before finally giving up and began walking on two feet. "How're you guys holding up?" Deralen asked, now that he was traversing the mountain the way a Goron was expected to. The obstacles were no longer a problem; he even climbed vertically when it was shown to be an obvious short shortcut, as to not pull away from his companions. As they were using mounts, he had no idea how well they were doing, since his in depth knowledge of Raizen and Skull Kid's Wolfos currently consists of only how fast they can move. Shadow Zero
"I am holding up well enough." Raven was less then happy about all of the obstacles. at first things had been slow going for him, but his horse had managed to adapt to it and manage a kind of side to side forward motion where necessary. It had seemed that Skull Kid and his Wolfos were having the easiest time, being able to easily maneuver around obstacles and jump up the occasional ledges on the small cliff sides. Although Raven appreciated Wolfos being able to maneuver easily in this type of terrain, he couldn't help but feel a little annoyed that Raizen, for all his speed, was unable to manage the same sort of maneuverability. A couple of hours after starting on the trail and it finally started to level out. A few more minutes after that and the trail suddenly ended in a small opening that was big enough for maybe about twenty people to fit comfortably, a doorway leading into the cliff side. "Looks like this is the place." Raven looked into the doorway and thought that he could feel the same type of presence that he had experienced when fighting the specters he had faced in his dreams. "So what do you guys think? Go in there and nod off or stay out here? Personally i feel as though it would be a little more expedient to at least get in as far as we can before going into a dream state."
leoluiz
Skull Kid went the way to the dungeon thinking about his dream and the possible relationship between the dream and the Dream Dungeon. When they reached the path, Skull Kid had to stop thinking about his dream because he did not want to end up falling in some corner. Skull Kid and Wolf were the first to get to a place where looked like the entrance to somewhere. "So this is the Dream Dungeon." he said to Wolf. He heard what Raven said. "You're right, let's enter and continue as much as possible before entering in the dream state."
Shadow Zero
Raven dismounts from Raizen and pats him on the snout, then removes a bag that hung from one side and opened it up, placing it on the ground. In the bag was some food that Raizen would be able to eat while he waited for Ravens safe return, oats and hay and the like. Once finished, Raven drew his knights sword and brought out his shield from where it was on his back beneath the cloak. "Lets go." was all that he said as he walked towards the Dream Dungeon, his sword and shield held at the ready. He didn't know what this dungeon would hold in store, but he knew that he would have to be very careful if he wanted to make it through without any major injuries. Saiba Aisu
GM Post: Dream DungeonGM Post: Dream Dungeon As Deralen, Raven, and Skull Kid deliberated outside the cleft in the face of the mountainside, a cold wind arose around them, sighing past the group and filtering into the tunnel, which appeared to lead upwards at a steady incline. Although the floor was paved underfoot with stone tiles that had been protected from the elements, they were still in the last state of disrepair—it was clear that the area had been deserted for some time. Dusty torches lined the walls of the tunnel at regular intervals, but they were unlit, indicating that their purpose was largely ceremonial. At the pinnacle of the widening, crumbled steps was another opening through which pale sunlight was filtering—through it, an extraordinary sight could be seen. Somehow, the rough stone of the mountain had been cleared away and smoothed, leaving a plane of white limestone to serve as the floor. From the ground, several tall obelisks stabbed into the sky, some crumbling, knocked over, or broken into jagged and uneven ends. The pavilion was roughly hexagonal in shape, with smoothly-cut walls that were decorated with a strange recurring pattern—two wavy lines, one over the other, colored either silver or purple. In the center of the open air pavilion was a slightly raised pedestal with a purple line design worked into its circular surface. To the immediate left was a square indent hollowed into the wall—through it, an elevated switch could be made out; however, access to the switch was barred by a gleaming black gate. Above, the clouds seemed much larger and slower, indicating at how high up the complex was compared to Lake Hylia below. A solemn and oppressive silence seemed to fill the air, discouraging unnecessary talk or action. They had arrived at the Dream Dungeon. Current Location: Dream Dungeon, Path of Visions [spoiler=Places of Interest.] Places of Interest: • Path of Visions: The entry point where you'll be starting your mission, this hexagonal pavilion connects to three other rooms in the Dream Dungeon, making it an important transition site; at the moment, however, one of these doors is hidden. It is lined with several limestone obelisks and there are two doorways carved into the walls—one is directly across from you, with large stone doors that seemed joined at the middle, while another is to your left; both are marked by the same wavelike pattern of silver and purple lines. Unfortunately, neither of the doors seems to be accessible at the moment, since the left-most one is covered with silver chains that indicate a locked door, and the larger one, with the sliding stone doors, doesn't seem to open from this side. • ???: This door is located directly across from you across the pavilion. It is fairly large and separated down the middle into two sliding segments, although it does not seem like it will open at the time. Progressing through this door seems like it will be lead you further into the depths of the dungeon, but how to open it? • ???: The left-most door located at the west end of the complex, this door is covered in silver chains which indicate that a Small Key is needed to proceed. Scour as you might, you won't find any key to open this door in this area—perhaps if you managed to find it somewhere else? • Hollowed Indent: A carved hollow located directly to your left, it contains a simple elevated switch which requires pressure to activate. It looks like your best bet to proceed, but access is barred by a gleaming black gate which is immune to your current weaponry, including bombs. • Elevated Pedestal: Located at the center of the pavilion, this circular platform is inscribed with a purple wavelike design on its surface, which seems to have some significance, but its purpose isn't clear in the Waking World. It does not appear like you'll be able to get much further without traversing the "Dream World" that Princess Zelda mentioned to you. The circular elevated pedestal seems like a significant place to try falling asleep—however, how do you manage slumber in the middle of a stone pavilion with a cold wind blowing and the sun shining brightly? If only one of you possessed some sort of ability that could induce sleep in others... Exits: • Visionary Access: The carved tunnel from which you just entered, it will take you back to the mountain path far above Lake Hylia, which doesn't seem very helpful. == OoC: The GM style is going to change from now on in closed or restricted areas to this, in order to make RPing smoother and easier. Explore as you like within reason until you arrive at a new area. At that point, I'll make a new GM post for that area. I'll give you a hint, since I know this is a lot of information to take in at once—one of you three possesses an ability to induce guaranteed sleep in others for a certain amount of time. This ability should be used in order to navigate the dungeon regularly.
Shadow Zero
Raven stood some several feet away from the door and carefully observed everything about the room that he and the others had just entered. He noticed that there were doors that couldn't be proceeded through without a key to open the lock and chains blocking them, and there didn't seem to be any immediately clear way through from where they stood at the moment. The feature that stood out the most was the intricate purple and silver lines that encircled the room and were also traced through the floors and on the ceiling above, the lines on the floors leading up to the raised pedestal in the center of the room. Raven didn't even need to try falling asleep here to know that the daylight and the howling winds would not allow for it, making any attempt a fruitless venture. At the moment, the only thing that he could think of was some type of magic that could induce sleep, although he was certain that his ocarina was incapable of such magic. Then he remembered that Skull Kid had an instrument as well, a flute that he used to call Wolfos. Wondering if it might have further uses, he turns and asks "Skull Kid, do you know of any way that your flute might be used to induce a sleeping state?" encapturer
Deralen's first action was to walk on ahead and attempt to get past the gate blocking access to a switch. Back at Death Mountain, Gorons would sometimes make use of switches to block off access to areas for as long as deemed necessary. He used to search for said switches, which often led to him being scolded. Try as he might to rip apart the gate in front of him, the bars did not bulge. "Well, that was a quick end..." Deralen muttered to himself as he returned to the others. The quiet atmosphere was suffocating him; this place was pretty much barren except for the three of them, Raizen, and Skull Kid's Wolfos. When Raven finally spoke his idea, Deralen smacked his forehead; he had forgotten all about *that* particular power of his flute. "Of course!" Those were the only words he found himself saying. leoluiz
Once entered, Skull Kid saw two doors, one was covered with chains, the other did not seem that they could open. He looked around the room to see a large pedestal in the center of the room. He knew that the howling wind and the daylight would not let them sleep. When Raven asked the question Skull Kid know what to do. "Sure. I know how to play a song that induces the sleep." he said. "Lie down, if you fall on the floor will feel the pain when they wake up." he lay on the floor and took his flute. He began playing a calm song, as he played the music they become more tired, until sleep.
Hydra of Ages
"Hm...You think?" Sariri said idly, as she unfurled her wings and beat them a couple times to achieve flight. She struggled a twinge more than usual when the realized that the wind was against her today, and decided to play it safe by flying closer to the ground rather than bother getting buffeted by the fierce overhead winds, angling her position a bit more level towards the increasingly marshy grounds. She observed the tail end of Lake Hylia with interest, and quickly figured how the marshes came into existence. It was fairly obvious from a slightly higher perspective that the valley that contained the great lake was at a very slight, but noticeable angle towards its southern tip. While not large enough to reduce the volume of water contained that much, it had the effect of allowing surplus rainwater to soak through the ground and leach down towards it. Obviously, the great amount of water that had drained in this way eventually ate away at the ground itself and leveled it off, providing more land for the water to drain through, possibly creating an underground lake that leached nutrients from the rest of the land. That was probably how the flats were created, at least, she figured. Though she felt confident in her theory, the raven-haired girl did have her misgivings. As she looked out towards the horizon and spied what could only be the swamps she and Erzet were destined for, she couldn't help but find a slight sinking in her stomach, like they weren't allowed to be here... it was forbidden land, far beyond mortal understanding and comprehension. Cursed, inhabitable, lost land... And it was AMAZING. She giggled madly, slightly at first, and gathering in ferocity until she couldn't help herself. She dove down a bit more, until she was level with Caspan, yelling quickly for Erzet to hurry up, then flapped her wings ferociously. She was getting very, very excited. If there was one thing Sariri always wanted, it was the thing she couldn't have- and if this land seemed to think no mortal should tread on it, then by Valoo's great wings, that's exactly what she would do. Underground, aboveground, below the sea, in a volcano... anything that nobody else would be in, she wished to be a part of. GM Post: Red JungleGM Post: Red Jungle As Lorenz, Billos and Mira discarded their mounts and entered an unfamiliar climate, the very flora seemed to close in around them. The once-lush green trees that spread towards the sky were replaced with sickly, thin-looking perversions the color of freshly spilled blood, marking a path like vicious sentential staking the outpost of a war-like people's land. The path, while straight, hardly seem unnatural, choked with vicious-looking red plants covered in thorns, unpleasant bushes and other such wildlife. The sounds of animals began to die in the distance, replaced by an unnatural silence that permeated the area. Even the sound of footsteps began to be muffled, swallowed up by the crimson vegetation the seemed to draw closer and closer with every step, staring back at the party as they walked by on the narrowing, trodden earth path. A strange smell permeates the air and the vaguest sense of confusion begins to enter the mind of those approaching, as if something in the air messes with their concentration. As the path narrows to a point, a great ruby is seen, sprouting up from the rest of the jungle. Unlike the other parts, here the surrounding foliage bears down in layers, easily cutting off any other possible paths with threatening thorns and leaves as sharp as blades. A massive structure rises up in the center, very different from the rest of the surrounding crimson flora, a solid sheet of ruby rising high into the sky, a blood-red wall that shimmers like a gem from the distance. Close up, the truth of its existence is revealed; a wall created from hundreds upon hundreds of small stems and vines, twisted and twined until it appears in a solid red sheet. A second sheet lies infront of the first, several feet adjacent, providing just a large enough gap to enter through, though it seemed to snarl like the fangs of a deadly beast. As they approached, the plants seemed to recoil like beasts, the silence penetrated only occasionally by the shifting of a spiky object. An uncomfortable feeling of being watched becomes readily apparent, like the rabbit surrounded by a pack of wolves. This was truly the beginning of the Red Jungle. Current Location: Red Jungle, Outer Jungle [spoiler=Places of Interest.] Places of Interest: • Outer Jungle: The bulk and perhaps relatively safest part of the Red Jungle, this giant ring of threatening and hungry-seeming thorned plants seems to have little to get in your way. It grows outward, building up new trees and plants in its way. While it is an uncomfortable and rather frightful walk, there is little to hurt you so long as you stay on the proper path. The air is thick with pollen that can cloud the mind, from every plant on each side.Right before you lies the entrance to the main Core of the Red Jungle, where your true adventure will begin. • South Petal Chamber: This is the first room you can enter in the main portion of the Red Jungle. It is a large, generally empty room, filled with large red trees that just seem like they're waiting to drink your blood. The sky is obscured by the canopy of the trees, which is crossed with blood red vines. While it seems mostly empty, it is circled on all sides by the same stiff, red walls of plant matter that make up the outer walls. While it seems to have a little give, the walls seem completely impenetrable and have no give. At two points on either side, there are indents that may have once been door-like structures, but are now covered in the red plant-walls and twined with thick red tendrils of plant matter that don't appear elsewhere. The tendrils don't appear to be vulnerable- is there another place you can attack them from, I wonder? • ???: What was once a door to the west, this gap between the walls has long been filled in by thick, red tendrils of plant matter that don't seem like they're going to budge any time soon. • ???: What was once a door to the east, this gap between the walls has long been filled in by thick, red tendrils of plant matter that don't seem like they're going to budge any time soon. • ???: What was once a door to the north to the eastern side, this gap between the walls has long been filled in by thick, red tendrils of plant matter that don't seem like they're going to budge any time soon. • Strange Pillar: Located at the South-Eastern corner, this stiff red pillar of plant has a large black head that pulsates occasionally, drifting a crimson mist into the air. Several smaller plants resembling it are surrounding it, but otherwise it seems undefended; It is much too high up to strike with a blade, however. The head is atop the canopy, surrounded by red leaves and vines, though it seems like it could be shot by an experienced marksman. It seems like the only thing of interest in this area is that strange reddish pillar- but be careful. Things in this Jungle aren't always in the open. It's best to be conservative, and make sure you're ready for counteract before you do something stupid... but doing something stupid is probably the only way to make things happen, here. You'll have to prepare for the worst and hope for the best in order to get anything done. Exits: • Dirt Path: The path you walked down in order to access the Red Jungle. Considering you spent all that time trecking down it, going back doesn't seem like the best of ideas.
Saiba Aisu
[spoiler=OoC. Please read, Chaos Zero and Encapturer.]You guys have now entered the Dream World due to Skull Kid playing his Song of Slumber. Use the post below to address any concerns or questions you may have regarding the nature of the Dream World. GM Post: Dream DungeonGM Post: Dream Dungeon As Skull Kid's melody lulled Deralen and Raven into a deep and pleasant slumber, the purple insignia carved into the stone surface of the elevated pedestal upon which they lay glowed briefly before fading away—its purpose had already been fulfilled. To the Goron and Hylian, it seemed to them as if they had fallen asleep briefly before waking up; the next thing they knew, they were shuffling back into consciousness and getting to their feet abruptly, the hard stone surface of the pedestal cutting into their bodies. Had they taken the time to look down, they would have noticed that pedestal also possessed a wavy-line design; however, unlike the previous one which had been colored purple, this one was tinted a silvery shade; as soon as they stepped off it, it began to exude a faint white light. The two Champions had time only to appreciate the fact that their bodies seemed comfortingly solid and familiar before their attention was completely diverted. However, Raven and Deralen's preoccupation was understandable—they were both staring above them, where just a moment ago, a muted golden sun had been shining through a cloudy and pale blue sky. The sky which stretched across their vision in the Dream World was of a deep purplish-pink hue, shifting color at slow, languid intervals, and the clouds were colored black, standing out against the background like bruises—there did not appear to be any sun, but the scene was still illuminated by a bizarre scarlet light. Even the air seemed to carry a sort of haze that made the whole landscape seem all the more surreal. Around them, the terrain of the Path of Visions seemed much the same as it had in the Waking World, except for one curious fact—where there had been crumbling stone tiles and jagged obelisks, there was now a smoothly-paved ground and the obelisks were complete, tapering into neat and elegant points. Where the ravages of time had transformed the Dream Dungeon into a fading ruin in the Waking World, it had endured here, perfect and untouched. Current Location: Path of Visions (Dream World) [spoiler=Places of Interest] Places of Interest: • Path of Visions (Dream World): You've been here before, in the Waking World. The room's design remains the same, lined with several limestone obelisks and the same wavelike patterns on the walls—however, there are a few key differences. For starters, in the place of the last two obelisks that were knocked over in the Waking World are two elevated switches, which are identical in design. Perhaps if you were to step on them at the same time, something would happen? And perhaps most problematic is the fact that the fact that the room does not seem to have any doors. Along with the chained door and the tunnel that led you here, the large sliding stone door that was directly across from you seems to have been replaced with a wall of seamless limestone. You had better hope that those switches do something, because it doesn't appear possible to continue any further from this point. • Elevated Switches: Two elevated standard switches embossed with the double wave-like linear design that you have come to associate with the Dream Dungeon, they are arranged side-by-side where the last two obelisks in line were. It appears that pressing them at the same time is the only way to activate them. Exits: • N/A: Unlike the Path of Visions in the Waking World, which possessed several doors and an exit back through the Visionary Access to the mountainside, it is impossible to progress from this room on this plane of consciousness. The pedestal from which you awoke is glowing with a silvery light—who knows what it might do?
Andx
Lorenz looked at the Red Jungle and the area around them. After dismounting he felt a very strange sensation. He felt so incredibly out of place around all of the vegetation; never mind the fact that this vegetation looked almost like a monster on its own and the fact that it has shifted as they approached. It wasn't any place a Zora should be anywhere near and the idea almost frightened him. However he didn't let himself dwell on the feeling too long and focused back on what they needed to do. It seemed the vegetation left all but one path closed off so it was obvious that was where they needed to go. "So we can either take the one path or try wandering somewhere else. Tough choice huh?" Lorenz said with a bit of sarcasm to Mira and Billos. He started down the path with the other two, the plants shifting all the while. He disliked the closed off feeling, almost like anything could be coming from any direction and they wouldn't know until it was right on top of them. So while Lorenz tried to relax, he made sure to stay focused, ready to summon his weapon should he need it.

Blake
Billos had been in the lead, and had not payed attention to either Lorenz or Mira as they went. He finally looked back, and realized he only saw Lorenz. "Lorenz..." he began, "Where is Mira?" He knew she was missing. He did not wait for an answer, but instead continued. "We have to get through. We'll run into her, I'm sure." He turned and began to walk into the South Petal room. He saw the vines covering the walls like a carpet, and saw small indents in the wall. NAtural, or not, he did not know. All he knew, was that this room had only one exit, and the plants were not normal. "What should we do?" He asked his Zora companion.
