Blake
"So?! What does one scar prove!?" He snapped, pullig one arm out. It was covered in scars from the wrist, to the elbow, which was all that is visible. He put it back. "You don't understand me. And, if you knew what I did you would have no sympathy." He turned around and looked at the field, preferring it to the woman behind him. He needed no sympathy. He was a Hylian, and a man. He was strong, even if his scars said otherwise. He did not need people. He grabbed the hood on his ragged cloak and pulled it tighter.
Aqua Girl
"What does one scar prove? I'm not trying to prove any thing!" Mira yelps."You guys are the closest thing I have to friends! Becaous of who I am Out side my family andthe children of Castle hryule no one ever talks to me, hell even my parents rarely talk, evryonescorns me becaous of who I am! Get off your glass pedestle, your not the only one who has suffered." Mira ranted. "You know, I've learnd, to hate others makes you hate your self, tell me what you did...... I Will Never hate you for who you are." She says in a kind voice like that of a mother.
Hydra of Ages
Sariri frowned a little when the Hylian listed his weight, sighing a little. "Nah, it probably wouldn't work then." she said thoughtfully. "That's a bit heavy. The largest Kargaroc I know of might be able to carry that weight for an hour or so, but in all likeliness, anything I could call with this whistle has a weight capacity of about 100 pounds". She patted down her hair with her hand, satisfied that the twine would hold for the moment until she could get it to a more acceptable quality. "I'm afraid you'll probably have to brave the bog alone. Or well, with me watching out from the sky at least. Maybe we could find someone that knows the area?" she said after a few moments. She still felt a little buzzed, and maybe her pupils weren't quite as focused as usual, but she figured she'd be fine for flying as long as she didn't need to do any complex battle maneuvers. Saiba Aisu
Erzet nodded at the Rito girl's suggestion in agreement—whatever he said, he didn't much fancy the idea of being hefted over the Haunted Swamplands by some monster bird like a piece of luggage, so any alternative was preferable. He wasn't too worried about crossing the swamps, so long as Sariri was around to help guide him from above. After all, the Haunted Wasteland back home had plenty of unseen dangers, yet he never run into any serious trouble when crossing it... yet. "Someone who knows the area?" he repeated, frowning slightly. "Princess Zelda said that the swamplands were outside of Hyrule's settled border... It's unlikely that we'll run into someone who'd be able to guide us safely through, but I guess we can always keep our eyes open, right?" He stood up from the table, stretching slightly, green eyes bright and alert despite the earliness of the hour. "Let's go, then," Erzet said, leaving his cup on the table for one of the serving girls to pick up. "We've got a lot of ground to cover today—just let me grab Casban and pay for last night, and we'll be on our way."
Andx
Lorenz had just approached the other two but then he quickly turned around. It seemed Mira was trying to dig into other people's pasts again. Billos had shown before that he intensely despised speaking of his past. Knowing Mira's inquiry wouldn't go well he walked back in the direction he'd come from."She just doesn't get it. Some people don't need to talk about what's happened to them. It's better to keep some things locked away." he thought as he walked away. He backed off a good enough distance that he wouldn't be able to hear them but he also became worried. He wasn't sure what Billos might do if agitated too much. As such Lorenz turned around and decided to watch how it would unfold. He really hoped he wouldn't have to step into the middle of a fight. encapturer
Deralen was down that Skull Kid couldn't finish the race, but as it was, he was exhausted after pushing himself like that. What a marathon run! he thought to himself as he uncurled and entered Lon Lon Ranch. Fortunately, they had an inn, in which he paid for a night's stay. Once in the room, he promptly fell asleep on the floor. It was better this way; some beds get damaged the way Deralen sleeps in them. He knew that tomorrow the travels will continue. Not a race this time... Deralen mumbled in his sleep as he turned and shifted along the floor.
Hydra of Ages
Sariri shrugged. "Settled borders or not, there's always someone living everywhere. It's practically a sure thing. If it isn't hermits trying to get away from it all, it's thrill-seekers trying to get themselves killed in order to prove something to themselves." She shrugged a bit. "I wouldn't see the appeal in living near an old swamp that has a habit of holding skeletons apparently, but I'm sure someone would." she said, evidently hazarding a guess. She got up when he did, stretching out her legs a bit in preparation of the coming flight. She did a quick check to see if she was alright to fly, holding a finger infront of her and touching the tip of her beak quickly, before proceeding to follow it with her eyes as she waggled the finger back in forth in her vision, her bright red eyes following it. Satisfied her hand-eye co-ordination hadn't been hurt by downing several shots of brandy, she turned her attention back to her partner. "Sounds good to me. We should probably consider taking another night to rest up if we don't get to the swamps before noon or so. I wouldn't want to get stuck trying to traverse that in the middle of the night." she turned around, and spread her black wings for a moment to stretch, momentarilly startling the few patrons around the pub. She waved her hand for them to calm down and tucked them away again, blinking when she noticed she shed a feather. She picked up the glossy black quill, examined its glossy perfection with interest for a few seconds, then shrugged and tucked it into her hair behind her makeshift twine tie. "I'll wait for you out front." she told him, walking out of the pub. A couple patrons watched her leave; Evidently, young female Rito were a rarity around this area, especially in pubs, and she didn't delude herself into thinking that her black feathers didn't draw any attention. What KIND of attention, often varied wildly from place to place; On one memorable occasion, she recalled that a troupe of Zora shopkeepers had fought fin-and-nail over who would be able to buy some feathers from her, for whatever decoration the Zora were working on then. On the other hand, once or twice she had met some religious fanatics who seemed to think her shadowed quills were a mark of a Demon. They might not be that far off, she thought to herself, as she walked out leisurely into the morning sun. She squinted a little bit at the bright sunrise, but noted with interest that the sky was getting clearer as they passed by. While other parts of the Field had been windy and partially cloudy, here the only imperfection in the solid sky was a lazily floating nimbus or two, sporadically assigned near the corners of her vision. Saiba Aisu
Erzet nodded, taking his gray scarf and winding it into a hood that he pulled over his head and a veil that went across his lower face—after all, it wasn't exactly easy to partake of food or drink when one's mouth was covered. While he was highly skeptical of their chances of finding some sort of hermit or wandered to guide them safely through the Haunted Swamplands—the area that they encompassed on the map Princess Zelda had provided was considerably large—he did agree with Sariri's other remark. Trying to navigate the swamps at night would not be a good idea. He ignored the wetlander women now bustling around the table and fussing with the glasses, and followed after the raven-haired Rito girl. While Sariri admired the clear light-blue sky and the growing sunlight, Erzet withdrew the money necessary to pay for their stay at The Dancing Fool, wincing slightly as he did so—it was a good thing that they would reach Lake Hylia by nightfall; although combining Princess Zelda's Rupees with his own had formed a respectable small fortune, he did not want to dig too deeply into the funds she had provided, preferring to save them instead for their return journey, once they had found the Sunken Skull Dungeon and dealt with the curse placed upon it. It never entered the Gerudo's mind that exploring the Sunken Skull Dungeon would be overly difficult, let alone dealing with any enemies or monsters inside—like always, he was superbly confident in himself and in his partner, and it was with a light heart that Erzet gathered Casban and led him away by the reins to the entrance of the inn, where Sariri was waiting, looking up at the sky and the few clouds pensively. "It's even clearer in the desert," he said, also looking up, correctly interpreting the meaning of her pleased gaze. "Except that the sunlight is so fierce that it gives the sky a bronze tint, as if it were mirroring the scorching sands below." In the warm sunlight and pleasant breeze that filtered through the village of Din's Gate, Erzet was wildly alive as only a Gerudo Thief could be, living brilliantly in his nerves. He delighted in the strong sunlight that dappled the ground before them, in his own youth and in the presence of his swift-footed horse. Mounting Casban and looking over at Sariri, the dark-haired man saw the same fierce satisfaction on her features—a pleasure that was unknown to those who never braved the dangers and loneliness of the outside world. "Let's go then, Sariri," he said from atop Casban, as the desert-horse shifted his weight excitedly, obviously in high spirits and eager for a quick gallop. Master and steed set off at a quick pace, hooves raising a small cloud of dust as they headed in the direction of Lake Hylia.
Blake
Billos scoffed. "No." He said to her as she prodded. "We need to get moving. Where's Lorenz?" He asked. He began to walk back to his horse, Cheval. On the way to said horse he passed Lorenz. "Lorenz... Time to go." Billos said looking up at the night sky. "We should move while it is cool outside." He said nothing more as he was walking up next to Cheval, and getting on. He kicked the horse with a "Hyah". He was not waiting this time. And so, the journey to the Red Jungle resumed, in the dead of night.
Shadow Zero
Raven had slept soundly through the whole night, although he had met with a troubling dream that he wouldn't remember. He was in a place that he did not know, surrounded by strange creatures of which held intent of unquestionable malevolence. He was forced to fight them alone, but the more he had slain, the more rose up to replace them. Backed into a corner, he continued fighting them off and noticed that he was phasing through the wall. Knowing he could not defeat them, Raven turned and fled, reappearing in what appeared to be the entrance of the place with the opening over to the left, and his body facing it. Raven headed for his body, thinking that perhaps these creatures would be unable to harm him then, only to find one of them rise from the ground in front of them, as did others around him, trapping him in place. Raven prepares to make his final stand, the creatures charging in from all sides as he begins to swing his sword. in that moment, everything turns black, and Raven falls through the darkness, losing consciousness as he does so.______ Raven is woken up by the morning sunlight shining on his face from where he lay on the grassy fields. He stretches, yawning considerably before getting up and walking over to one of the few ranch hands that were currently awake and tending to the animals, as well as milking the cows so that there would be something to go with breakfast. Raven asks if either of his fellow travelers had shown up the previous night and is told where he could find the Goron Deralen.Thanking the ranch hand, Raven goes over to Deralens room and knocks on the door, his query replied to by a decidedly loud snore. Sighing, Raven opens the door and walks in, putting folding his arms before grabbing the hilt of his broken sword and rapping the flat of the blade on Deralens rock like back saying loudly as he does so "Rise and shine sleepy head, We need to get moving! we've already wasted enough daylight." Raven was always very serious when it came to missions, especially one of such high importance as the one that they were currently undertaking. Not even waiting for a response, Raven sheaths the broken blade again and walks outside, going to where Raizen was and seeing him run up to Raven. Patting Raizens snout by way of greeting, Raven leads him over to the gate of the ranch and is met by a ranch hand that he had spoken to about some food before heading upstairs to wake Deralen. He thanked the ranch hand and fed Raizen a couple of apples before mounting him and allowing Raizen to head off at full gallop at once. They would slow down later in the day when it was warmest, but for now, speed was critical. With that in mind, Raven turns Raizen west southwest, in the direction of the mountains that ran from the valley of Gerudo to lake Hylia, heading straight for them, and the Dream Dungeon.... Hydra of Ages
Sariri nodded, and as Caspan took off, flapped her own wings as she ran to obtain lift. After a few seconds, she had managed to grab a little height, though it was still less that she'd like. Briefly soaring over a couple trees, she managed to hit a large heat thermal radiating from the reflection of the sun on the glossy leaves of the plant, boosting her much higher. 'I couldn't do that with the trees farther north...', she thought to herself as she adjusted her wings in order to fly above the radically shrinking horse-shape beneath her. She figured this would be how she knew they were getting farther south; while it didn't feel particularly warmer yet, the gloss of those leaves revealed them to be a species or a strain more or less unknown in the more windswept, colder parts of the greater Northern Hyrule field. It was an interesting observation, as she realized with the a jolt that despite her wandering tendencies, she hadn't ever been particularly long in Southern Hyrule. While there were a few rural towns she had ferried letters to and back, there was no massive civilization found in the southern parts of the land. Indeed, while Dragonroost Mountain was about as Southern as they were now, their journeys were so overwhelmingly north-facing and the mountains so chilled up high that it was easy to forget the fact. Valoo's presence messing with the local flora and fauna also did not help matters geographically. Musing this, Sariri held back a yawn as she flew in a daze-like state, cruising at a steady speed in a steady direction. One could only describe it as a sleep-like state where her wings automatically leveled off and torqued with the tufts of warm and cold air at her altitude, with Erzet and his steed nearly minuscule by comparison. She'd done this before, quite often, to make up for a lack of sleep. By sleeping while flying, she managed to keep herself mentally rested even if it did not allow for physical relaxation, and was rather safe so long as she made sure to only do so at an altitude that she was rather unlikely to be bothered at. Excepting random flying giant bats, there really wasn't much that could threaten a fully-grown Rito such as herself in the sky, even one as petite as herself. She spent most of the flight drifting in and out of a state of consciousnesses, perhaps possibly brought on by her binge on brandy earlier. While the field was well known for containing very little of interest for very long stretches, she ultimately did recall a few interesting incidents even so far above the ground level. Once or twice, a group of Kargarocs passed beneath her, only to scatter when they felt the shadow of a larger winged form pass above them. She remembered vaguely wondering why such a flight response would be embedded in Kargaroc, who had no natural predators she could think of. Were there beings larger than even the five-foot birds of prey? Perhaps the mythical Rocs and Wyverns of legend weren't entirely made up... She vaguely recalled a large object passing her by, and only nearly avoiding it. Turning a lazy eye towards it, she had seen what looked like a massive pink flower bulb hanging high in the sky, drifting up and down seemingly at random. Ropes ran from the bottom the bulb to a small green cart, from which a small person waved at her. Finding this weird, funny and interesting under normal circumstances, she had given it just a slight wave before returning to her high-flying dozing. The next time she awoke, it was because of the hiss of an arrow through the air. Though the item had lost so much speed by the time it arced by her that she probably could have grabbed it in her claws, she dived a bit to the side to avoid another one. She wasn't sure where it came from, though when she glanced towards the ground, she saw a small creature atop a larger one stringing his bow again. Luckilly, however, she noticed Erzet had fallen upon the smaller creature with his knives, quickly ending its life before it could get off another shot. The remaining creature off dashed off towards the horizon before any other action could be taken, dragging with it the body of its former master before it eventually fell to the ground, crushed and trampled by the heavy, sturdy hooves of the fleeing mount. At that point, she figured it would be safer to wake up and fly a smidge closer to Erzet as they traveled. Gliding only a couple yards above the young thief, Sariri's eyes sparkled as she noticed the shimmering mirror that was Lake Hylia. The massive lake was the greatest source of fresh water in Hyrule, even greater than the Zora domain. The lake was simply massive; From standing at one end, the average hylian could not observe the other side, much like the ocean. Sariri, having significantly better eyesight than the average Hylian, could indeed perceive the other side of the lake, but only as a vauge smudge of green against the horizon. "Hey, it's Lake Hylia." she exclaimed with a grin, before glancing around. "There should be a city around here, I think. The Lake's got a couple little hamlets settled around it, but if I recall correctly, there's a proper town in the area... Mainly populated by Zora though, so I hope you like fish. They serve it a lot." she said, mainly just saying things as they came to mind. She glanced up at the sun, and squinted at the angle. "It's getting late. It's going to be dusk any time, and we're not going to go into that fen without it being bright and early." she said firmly. She doubted Erzet would argue against that, he was a sensible fellow, but wanted to sound resolute even so.
encapturer
Deralen was up in the middle of the morning, holding a map he bought from some peddlers outside the ranch. He didn't sleep as much as he would have liked, with something trying to wake him earlier. Deralen was stubborn, and was steadfast in his desire to sleep. For now, though, he eyed the map, and while the Dream Dungeon was obviously not on it, the nearby town was. He stood outside and stared southwest towards their destination. "Looks like good terrain." Deralen left a message with the innkeeper for Raven when he first woke, telling him that he'll be waiting for him outside the ranch's main entrance. The innkeeper replied that he left already, though. I wonder if that was him that disturbed me earlier... Now I just need to find Skull Kid. Did he actually sleep outside?! Deralen though, sighing to himself. Deralen curled up into a ball and began circling the ranch, looking for the missing partner. On his third lap he spotted the skull kid in the distance, sleeping soundly with his wolfos. He uncurled and approached carefully; he wasn't sure how the wolfos would react to his presence, especially with his master asleep. "Hey, Skull Kid!" he called out, still eying the wolfos. "Time to wake up!"
Andx
Billos had settled his conversation with Mira and was more than ready to go. Lorenz quickly retrieved his horse and followed. Before too long he had caught up. Though he had never done so in the past, Lorenz quite liked traveling at night. So much cooler than traveling at day. In fact, Lorenz even felt comfortable for once. It was a feeling he seldom ever had on land being a creature naturally meant to inhabit water. The three had traveled through the night and the sun was on the horizon. Having stopped at Lon Lon Ranch they were roughly half way to the end of Hyrule field. Though he hadn't slept for about twenty four hours Lorenz felt quite good. He'd gone extended periods of time without sleep in the past, though never more than two straight days. Sometimes Lorenz was to driven to do something and couldn't be bothered to sleep. This night of travel had been such an event. They had stuck to the main path for the most part as it was safest and easiest to travel on. After the night of travel they had roughly a fourth of Hyrule Field to travel. Lorenz had tried to stay closer to Billos than Mira and though they barely had spoken a word he still preferred Billos's company."Seems like we don't have much farther to go." Lorenz said, not really to Billos or Mira, it was more of a general statement. As far as Lorenz looked he couldn't see any "Red Jungle" or normal jungle for that matter. Then again the land of Hyrule contained many different climates relatively close to each other and this Red Jungle didn't sound like a place that was ever visited too often. Doubtless they would see the Red Jungle upon entering it. Lorenz then thought to speak a bit with Billos. Mostly he just needed something interesting to do. But there was one thing that had left Lorenz curious."Say Billos, how was it you got to Lon Lon Ranch so fast? I recall you taking something out and then just disappearing." Lorenz said. leoluiz
Skull Kid was in a place that he could recognize as the entrance of the Lost Woods. He could see a Kokiri playing, the Kokiri ran into the Lost Woods. The boy had been lost, he was scared. But suddenly the boy disappeared. Skull Kid woke Deralen's voice. "So it's time to continue?" he asked, remembering the mission. He turned and patted Wolf's head. The great wolfo got up soon after Skull Kid get up on his back. He went to Deralen. "Where is Raven? he said, searching Raven and his horse.
Shadow Zero
Raven had not gone to far when he had noticed Deralen rolling around the borders of Lon Lon Ranch. Deciding that it would be better to turn back and join the others, he reins Raizen in and turns him back towards the ranch, riding over at a slower gallop then before, although still being quite fast. Raven arrived just as Skull Kid asked about where he had gone to and responded in saying "I was going to go on ahead and do a bit of scouting, since Raizen is able to move so quickly." Raven said as he patted the side of Raizens neck. "But, since we are all here now, we can figure out what we should be doing. Raven dismounts from Raizen and takes the map out from where he had it in a cylindrical holding case at his back. "We're currently here." said Raven as he pointed at a spot just a little to the side of Lon Lon Ranch. "We need to reach the Dream Dungeon which is located somewhere here." Raven pointed at a spot on the map where the river leading from the Gerudo valley to Lake Hylia. "We may have to do some climbing, and we won't get there before some time tonight or tomorrow, but there is a town just a little to the side of our route where we can spend the night, so I would like to suggest that we stop there and head for the Dream Dungeon in the morning tomorrow. Any thoughts?" Raven looked at first Deralen, then Skull Kid, waiting to see if any of them had any thoughts on the matter.
leoluiz
Skull Kid expected Deralen to answer the question, but Raven appeared explaining where he was. Raven opened the map, he pointed to the place where they were at that time. Then he pointed to where the Dream Dungeon should be. Then he pointed to a city on the map, where they could spend the night. "Wait a second, how will we climb? I can jump from one rock to another, you can climb, but the Deralen is very heavy, will be's hard for him." he looked Deralen, "No offense" he looked at Raven again "And even if we succeed, we'll take long to reach the temple without Wolf and Raizen." he paused "Out of that, I'm ready" he said
encapturer
"Don't worry about me, I live in a mountain," Deralen said, "where I used to be able to get a good night's rest." He wasn't really trying to be rude with his last comment, just inferring that he doesn't like to be disturbed while sleeping. "Thus, I know how to climb a mountain," he added. He glanced at Raven's map. He was furious at how his map was so much inferior to his. Either the shopkeeper was a fraudster or was racist, and both were no good in Deralen's eyes. "I can't see an easy path to the dungeon, but at least getting to town is easy." Deralen said, while checking the integrity of his weapons. The blades still swung open and locked into place with no effort. "I'm ready," he added, resetting his blades and preparing to roll once again. Saiba Aisu
[spoiler=OoC. Please read.] You guys are free to use your mounts to climb the rocky mountain path towards the Dream Dungeon. As for Deralen, he won't be able to roll, no... But he's a Goron, and used to such terrain, so he'll be able to keep up with Raizen and Wolfo, both of whom will be slowed down a little bit. The path is fairly clear although not marked - it's not exactly treacherous, but watch your footing! Erzet nodded at Sariri's remark, drawing out a rough, leathery cloth and sliding it along the curved edges of his scimitars, wiping away the blood from the creature he had killed with a wary look in his green eyes. He was glad to see that the Rito girl was unharmed—he had spotted the bizarre creatures as soon as they had released the first arrow and quickly dispatched one of them, but there had been nothing he could do about the arrow already in the air, flying towards its target. As they drew closer to Lake Hylia, though, his wariness was replaced by a gradual sense of the wonder at the sight of the massive freshwater lake, the largest source of drinkable water in all of Hyrule—although he had seen it many times before when traveling to and from the Gerudo Valley which was a day's travel from here, he never tired of the sight. With the setting sun slowly dipping lower in the sky as it heralded dusk and afterward, nightfall, the clear, shimmering waters of the lake were colored a deep and lusty red-orange shade which simply took one's breath away. The Gerudo were not famed among the other races for their eloquence or loquacity, and had the thief wanted to capture the moment in words, he would not have known how—still, he could appreciate the refined and mysterious beauty that characterized the tranquil waters. To Erzet's desert-bred eyes, so used to harsh and savage beauty, the sight of the smooth, glassy lake was made all the more exotic, and he took a moment to admire the view, drinking in the scent of the air and feeling the slightly cooler air that blew off its surface. Casban whinnied slightly and stepped forward, flanks glistening in the reddish sunlight with sweat as he arched his glossy neck and drank eagerly from the water. Following the example of his steed, the Gerudo dismounted and knelt before the water, lowering his hood and veil, cupping his hands and briefly watching the water glisten before splashing it against his face. After a moment he stood up once more, feeling considerably refreshed, and caught Casban by the reins, drawing him away from the water after he had drunken his fill. Erzet raised an eyebrow at the mention of the Zora that freely populated the area surrounding Lake Hylia—although he had seen many of the fishlike people before, he was still fascinated by their culture and lifestyle, living in such close proximity to lakes and rivers, as deeply tied to water as the Gerudo were tied to the desert. He smiled slightly at the teasing expression on Sariri's face—evidently, she had expected to see him disgusted at the mention of fish. "I actually like fish," he replied, guiding Casban away by the reins at slow walk around the water's edge—not too far off in the distance, blurry golden lights indicated the town which the Rito had mentioned. "I've never had very much of it, but we do catch the occasional fish at the tributary of Lake Hylia which flows along the Gerudo Valley, you know." Their voices began to grow muted as Erzet and Sariri began to walk around the lake towards the village, looking forward to a good rest after a long day of travel. Far across Lake Hylia's vast surface, the clear and tranquil waters gave way to sloping land, which continued slightly before transforming into muddy ground bordered by mudyy ground and murky water. The swamplands.
Shadow Zero
"I don't think we should encounter to much trouble, as long as there is a clear enough path to follow up the mountain. That and a path that isn't to steep. I'm not sure exactly where the paths would be, but they shouldn't be to hard to find. My main concern right now is our manner of approach. The Dream Dungeon is to the west of Lake Hylia, so that means we would have to cross the river that feeds into it from the Gerudo Valley. I just hope that they have a strong enough bridge to support a Goron, otherwise it might be difficult for you to get there Deralen." Raven mused over this a bit as he thought of what could be done if this sort of situation did indeed arise. Raven supposed that if it came right down to it, they would have to cut down a tree, buy some rope, and make a raft sturdy enough to get them to the other side of the river, or just Deralen, since Skull Kids Wolfos and his own horse Raizen would be able to swim across it i they had to. At any rate, Deralens hidden remark about having his nap disturbed did not go unmissed by Raven, who was quite irritated by it, although he didn't let it show on his face. Resolving to attend to that, and other matter of travel related thing after they reached the town that bordered Lake Hylia, Raven turned his gaze upwards from where he had had it resting on the map and asks "Any final questions or remarks that either of you would like to add before we get underway?" He is loving and generous, for he doesn't think life is about himself. He thinks he is very unimportant in the universe. He doesn't expect much from people except that they are willing to be faithful in themselves. He is scared of death and therefore always trying to occupy himself to try to not think about it. But if he's around someone he doesn’t know, then he goes all quiet and sort of sits on the sidelines of conversations, because [again] he doesn't think he is important. He is very obedient and is someone you just couldn't imagine as a leader.BIOGRAPHY: His parents abandoned him when he was only a small child, about seven years old. He was abandoned somewhere in Hyrule field, so he walked until he found water-Lake Hylia. Hefound a small cave and he made it a comfortable place to live. So growing up alone had a few advantages. He was lonely, where he could think and learn easier, and he grew up learning how to fight. His loneliness and wonders (about his parents and what life would have been like if they hadn't abandoned him) drove him to live on. He hunted the crows that lived in Lake Hylia's atmosphere for food. He used his bow and arrows, which he made himself out of wood and a giant fish's bone. Once, he came upon a giant Octorok and began a duel with it, for it was a vile creature, not letting him pass. Some-halfway through the fight he realized that he didn't want to fight anymore, so he gave up. The octorok noticed his tiredness, and was confused. He still hit Enthai and thrashed him about. Enthai couldn't careless, except for the pain. Finally, Enthai snapped out of his trance and jumped on the beast and snared it with rope. Then, he was taken for a wild ride, which he tried to stop the beast and calm it. Eventually he did, and he and the octorok learned to live together. After awhile they liked each other a lot, and then they were really close. Enthai has traveled only a little bit because he is a Zora, a water creature. Enthai was sitting on a old, rotting log. It was stripped of it's bark, and was about to snap. But Enthai wasn't worried. Even if he fell, he wouldn't care. The swamps around him were dirty and a little smelly, but he didn't care. After a long time of living there, he didn't mind the smell. The swamps around him was made up of marshes and tall, thick weeds which seemed to be rooted in place. The swamp's water was so filthy that it was hard to see into it. Enthai wanted another sitting-log. I'll find another.; there were plenty around him. He looked over the horizon and at the clouds in the sky with the presence of the sun looming above the line that separated the earth from the sky. It was so quiet...And Enthai disliked it. Every day, he was so discontent with his boring, lonely life. No one was out here with him except the birds he hunted-which couldn't be of any social use to him. Enthai wanted a social life. Something must happen sooner or later. Enthai kept wanting to leave his camp and search for other people like him, but he knew he wouldn't get far before he needed water or that he would give up. Contemplating whether he should go, like every other morning, Enthai sighed. Then, the log that he was sitting on collapsed, and Enthai fell. He hurt, and he winced. He got up, smiled and brushed himself off. Then, he took the pieces of the log and threw them away from his position. He walked back to his little pool, which was a little cleaner than the rest of the swamp. Enthai hated huge messes. Little ones he could deal with, but if he were presented with a large mess while in a tough situation, he would ponder abandoning his quest to clean up. Enthai sat down, and began thinking again. Oh, life is so boring . Enthai got up and picked up his bow. Then, he looked around for any birds flying near. He spotted one-big and fat too. He aimed his bow, and let the arrow fly. It made contact with the bird, and the bird went forward a little bit since it's momentum but fell straight to the ground. Enthai went around the logs and water, and got to the bird. He picked it up and brought it back to camp. Food! But Enthai hadn't seen a bird fly with other birds lately. They were all flying solo. Their population must be dwindling, dying down. Enthai would have to find another food source now. He sighed as he put the bird down. Maybe it was because of him, killing them and eating them...? No, he ate and hunted in moderation, he'd never killed for sport. Enthai noticed this because he was so familiar with the swamplands. There was a creepy, ancient-looking temple he'd found, but he could never bring himself to go inside of it. He shuddered whenever he saw it. Hydra of Ages
"Good for you, then." Sariri retorted. She took one look at the glittering surface of the massive lake, and gave a great grin, quickly hopping up and extending her wings. She flapped a little, twisted, then gained a little altitude until she was above the lake, about twenty feet above it. Flying above water was never easy. While finding thermals on land was fairly easy, especially during sunny days, they didn't exist out on the water. Instead of pillars of warm air resulting from the reflections of light, you had a gentle cushion of pure warm air from the shimmering of the sun, punctuated now and then with deadspace. It was essentially the opposite of regular flying, wherein you would fall at all times, except in certain areas were you could gain altitude. Out over the water, you could gain altitude anywhere, but could easily fall victim to a pillar of Deadspace and plummet into the water. Being a Postrito for several years, things like that had been permanently welded into her mind. Of course, considering she wasn't going too far from shore and the water was fairly even (reducing the amount of deadspace pillers), it was unlikely she was going to need it, but still, old habits die hard. She trained her red eyes down below the water as she glided above it. If she recalled what those Zora had taught her before, all she needed to do was- -Ah! A glint of scale. She quickly dropped, folding her wings upward and her talons downward. She remembered to keep her shadow away from her prey, and snap quickly, and... There! She scored a nice hit, and held in her talon a wriggling grey fish, struggling as it was lifted to the surface. She smirked and called at Erzet. "Hey, Erzet! Lookit what I got!" she said, giggling a little, then blinked as the slippery little creature squeezed out of her talons. She blinked and lashed out with the other set, quickly grabbing it in her other foot. Unfortunately, she grabbed it at an odd angle and it quickly twisted itself out once more, dropping back into the lake and swimming away, along with any of the other fish nearby that noticed him get abducted. She chuckled a little awkwardly, and glanced back at Erzet "...Let's get to that town, right?" she said after a moment, her eyes scanning the nearby areas. She spied a group of rooftops nearby, pointing towards it with her wingtip before she took off towards it, Erzet following on Caspan behind her. The town quickly came into view; It resembled most Zora settlements, with the exception of their capital. Few people had spied native Zora towns outside of the Zora Domain, wherein the lived in an idyllic watery paradise in homes carved from the coral and stone, surrounded by elegant waterfalls, lakes and only small sandbars providing sufficient dry land. A land-based Zora settlement was about the farthest thing from that. The first thing Sariri noticed when she entered, gliding to ground level and tucking away her wings, was that it smelled of fish. Quite strongly. She glanced around; The town looked about like any sea shanty city you'd expect, though perhaps with less salt. Homes were built up around here, out of wood and canvas, colored strange mild colors like lilac, light blue or mauve. Zora had an eye for color, the Rito observed. Might have to do with living in a coral reef, they couldn't bear not adding color to their residences. The second thing she noticed was the silence. Unlike Hylian based cities, Zora were oddly quiet. She wasn't entirely sure why that was- maybe the water-based species just had more to do, or didn't speak as much, or spent more time inside or away from the streets, but the usual hubbub and milling of people around didn't have the same gentle roar. While, as she glanced around, she saw Zora walking up and about, there were less of them than what you would expect for a city of this size... Oh wait. It suddenly came to her; The rest of the town were probably in the Lake. Zora cities often had submerged subdivisions, either for ease of use or simple preference. The vaguely religious people probably kept their shrine to the Maiden of the Waters deep at the seabed too, far below where Erzet or she could dive to. Well, especially Erzet, she reflected. As a Rito, her swimming ability was between 'bad' and 'nonexistent'. Come and think of it, he was from the desert, so he probably wasn't so great a swimmer either, she would think. Saiba Aisu
Erzet's gaze followed Sariri as she wafted her way above the vast body of water, wings alternating between beating and gliding. Although he didn't like flying much—who would, after being abducted by Demon-Keese?—but he was still slightly jealous at the grace and ease with which the Rito moved through the air. What would it be like, he wondered briefly, to be able to fly? He smiled slightly at the exaggerated and intense expression of concentration and then, success, as Sariri managed to catch a silvery-colored fish from the clear waters in one talon. "Lookit what I got!" she called to him, obviously proud of her catch. Erzet couldn't restrain a laugh, though, as the fish managed to slip from her grasp and back into the water, where it disappeared from sight at once. Apparently, Sariri had had enough of fishing for the moment—with another flap of her glossy, black-feathered wings, she angled a new course towards the lights that indicated the Zora settlement. At a word from Erzet after he had mounted his steed, Casban followed at a moderately fast pace, his hooves making hardly any noise on the soft and springy green turf. As the town came into view, Erzet couldn't help but be impressed by the tactful variety of colorful shades that littered the surrounding buildings. Casban snorted in displeasure at the strong, fishlike scent that seemed to characterize the air, but Erzet felt his appetite begin to rise—after all, who would know how to cook fish better than half-fish people? He was already looking forward to dinner as they continued through the settlement, which wasn't very crowded. Every now and then, he could make out one or two Zora gliding along peacefully on their business, looking perfectly serene and at home. Despite the urgency of their mission and the struggles yet to come, the Gerudo found himself wishing that they had the luxury of more time—he would have liked to learn more about the Zora people and their unusual culture. As it was, he gazed from left to right, drinking in the sights, sounds, and smell of the tiny town set alongside Lake Hylia. As they drew deeper into the heart of the town, he drew Casban over to one of the strolling Zora, who seemed faintly surprised to see outside visitors. Despite this, the fishlike individual was gracious and helpful once Erzet inquired as to where he and Sariri could find lodging for the night. The Zora indicated a modestly large building not too far away, colored a light purple-blue shade with fanciful silvery designs. The Gerudo nodded his thanks and went on his way, beckoning to Sariri, who had been circling lower and lower overhead. It was almost too dark to see now, so there was little point in going to explore the town—the best thing to do now would be to get a good night's sleep. They would certainly need it when navigating the Haunted Swamplands tomorrow.
leoluiz
He looked at his partners, they seemed ready to continue, "One last question." he paused briefly "Will we continue the race?" he asked, but as was his custom, he did not wait them to answer. "If I remember well I was winning." he added. Wolf turned and ran toward the city that Raven had appointed on the map.. While Wolf was running, Skull Kid continued to think of the boy of his dream, he somehow knew the boy who went into the forest but he could not remember who was the boy. Shadow Zero
Raven immediately jumps on Raizen who starts going into full gallop as Raven folds up the map and. Raizen easily overtakes Wolfos and comes to a stop in front of it so that Wolfos and Skull Kid have to stop if they don't want to crash. "Actually, I believe it was I who was winning. However, I don't think Deralen would be able to keep up, so lets just go at a regular fast pace and not a racing one, okay? We don't need to tire ourselves out in order to reach the village before Nightfall." Raven turns Raizen back to a forward facing motion and urges him into a fast gallop, but one that the others can keep up with easily enough. In the next few minutes, Lon Lon Ranch had shrank down considerably in view point size so that if someone were to look back, they would be able to see the whole thing just by looking at it and not have to move their head around at all to see the whole thing.
