In shops they have OCG fixes is it ok if you buy a OCG fix and use for a contest entry?

You don't use your kind of OCG. It's considered as cheating. But if the contest owner allows it, it's OK.

I do it for a lot of contests, and I never considered why they wouldn't allow it. They could just as easily do the same thing. When Star Child wasn't banned, I would occasionally PM him for OCG fixes on my cards. That, and I always post the card in the realistic section before I send it to the contest. I say, as long as nobody complains, you should be allowed to do it. :)

Ask the contest owner. They may or may not allow it. Not sure if that's how it goes though.

^Actually, it's not illegal if the store it's offered in was created before 4/14/2009, but it's illegal to make them afterwards^

 

But I'm not sure you're allowed to do that since some of the contests I've seen judge OCG and it may have to be done yourself.

1.) I believe that OCG Correcting in shops are illegal.

2.) I wouldn't use it in a contest. I'd consider it cheating due to the fact that you didn't do that part yourself.

 

But that all depends on who made the contest.
