Isn't it supposed to make out like the second movie never existed? Is there any actors confirmed?

Anyway' date=' I haven't watched the first two movies, but I'm a die-hard fan of MK. I'll check them out on this movie website I have bookmarked.

well it's not like they can bring the old actors back anymore, not after 13 years

I've seen the first 2' date=' effects wern't bad, hopefuly because it is now 2010 the effects will be better.

The 1st movie was pretty decent considering it was made in the 90's. The second one was god-awful; all you could do was lol at the terrible acting and storyline.

I don't have any expectations for the 3rd movie, but I will go and see it when it comes out.

They could bring back Robin Shou. He was in a movie called "Death Race" I think? I forget. I'm pretty sure the original Liu Kang can still fight after 13 years.

From what the official Mortal Kombat Wikia says, the film could simply erase Annihilation and be like the second movie. It also says Linden Ashby, who plays Johnny Cage in the first film, will reprise his role, along with Chris Casamassa, who plays Scorpion.

But it comes from the Wikia, so...yeah.

The Wikia gives straight-forward, 100% true info about anything. And to think that Ashby and Casamassa would return after all these years. And I'm pretty sure the man that started Mortal Kombat, Ed Boon, will reprise his voice role as Scorpion from the first 2 movies. What about the guy who played Raiden in #2? And Lynn Red Williams, who played Jax? I could keep going, but I'll stick with the questions I have now and put more later.

He shaved his head bald. I don't know why. I realized it was him when I heard that special grunt that I heard before his character got blown up and I saw his face' date=' too! It's highly possible that Robin Shou will be the only returning character for the movie that will end the franchise.

ok fine, but even so

it's not like he had to do any fighting in Death Race

and you can't possibly expect those skills to still be in top notch after 13 years

Mine doesn't have commentary either.

BTW, I found something of the sort that might be the solution of if whether or not Shou would return. Since I don't have a link yet, search in YouTube "Robin Shou Interview of Mortal Kombat: Devastation". It will be there.

I also realized that Shou wore a bald cap in Death Race, so he still has that hair from 13 years ago.

I'm watching the first few minutes of the second one so far. Yeah, bad acting, great comedy. It's sucks so bad it's funny.

But on the Mortal Kombat Wikia, there's seven possible storylines the film can have (some of them are from like 2004, though). I would give the link here, but I don't want a warning for advertisement.
